Of wine, which is 300 bottles.

This is chardonnay going
Through fermentation.

About 6 months.

It'll go back into
The stainless-steel tanks.

They'll do
The blending process.

It'll go into bottle, and then,
About a year later,

It'll be available
On the market.

No one is going to drink

L-shaped aquarium

That perfectly follows

Live coral to build a reef

And fill it with
Colorful saltwater fish.

We'll also add
Specialized lighting

To mimic the coral's
Natural habitat.

Instead of a facade,
We'll complete the exterior

With a new wall
To give this tank a seamless,

Freddy wants more light."

So I either move him up,
Or I move him down.

Once you find that spot, voilà,

Then you have
A beautiful freddy.

Live corals require
Special filtration

To maintain precise
Water conditions.

Through the refugium.

A refugium is a special
Filtration system using plants.

It mimics the water conditions

Of the corals'
Natural environment.

The aquatic plants filter
Toxins out of the water

Just like trees remove
Carbon dioxide from the air.

Then they release nutrients
Back into the tank

To feed the corals.

I want to see how
The butterflies work.

They're going to show us
How the flow goes,

So let's get some water in this.

Like the tank above,

The refugium requires good
Water flow to operate properly.

So now that we got water in,
This is what happens.

The water is in the tank.

It drains down in this pipe,
Let's say,

And we're going to start
Getting the flow

Going in the whole refugium.

Drop some butterflies in there.
-like a handful?

Take a handful.
All right.

And only put them
In the first divider.

Put it right there.
That's fine.

Drop them.

So these butterflies
Represent the waste,

And they're going
Through the whole refugium.

Yeah.
Now watch the water flow.

You see the butterfly?

It's going down
Through the dividers,

And as that's happening,
Gases are releasing.

Some of the water is going
Into the protein skimmer.

All the protein
Is coming out of urine.

You could throw this out and
Pour it out and clean it out.

This is very cool.

In this area,
A nice low, slow flow here,

So the plants can grow.

They're eating
All the nitrates.

Then the water gets churned up
Again and releases more gases,

Back into the pump and pumped
Back into the tank.

That's cool.

So by the time
It gets to that side,

All the bad stuff is out?

You have to choose fish

That won't harm

Who owns jordan winery.

The tank is approximately
600-gallon l-shape.

Over here is fire fish.

It reminds me
Of a corkscrew.

I love the color
On the tail end there.

Yeah, they have a lot
Of colors on them,

And it looks like
The front is just white,

But if you look closely,

It's got a little yellow
In there.

The eye has got
A little violet in it,

And the back portion looks
Like red wine, doesn't it?

Yeah.
It looks like a cabernet.

They're reef safe,
So don't bother corals,

Don't bother any invertebrates
They might put in the tank.

They're a perfect addition
To any kind of reef tank.

He's going to love it.

What else do you have
To pair with it?

This is
A banded coral shrimp,

Also known
As a boxing shrimp.

If you look at the claws
That it has,

It has the hands
Right in front of his face,

And it's, like, looking like
It's going to take a punch.

They're not very aggressive
Towards fish.

They're not
Going to go and bite it

Or try to catch it
Or eat it.

And it won't eat
The corals, either?

They will eat up all the uneaten

I love corals.

This is a branching
Hammer coral.

Agnes: that is so pretty.
It looks amazing.

-yeah, it's very pretty.

If you look closely,
Each of the tentacles,

They look like
A little hammer.

That's why they get
The name hammer coral.

So is it a plant
Or an animal?

-it is an animal.
-so what does it eat?

They're photosynthetic
Animals,

So they derive 90%
Of their food from the sunlight

As well as at night,
The sweeper tentacles comes out,

And they will grab
Zooplanktons,

And they'll bring it
To their mouth.

So these will just grow
However big, right?

Corals, they will grow
Huge colonies in the wild.

Crazy.

And they grow, like,
Thousands of years.

If a coral dies, it's probably
Because it's our fault

Because if we give them
The perfect conditions,

They will live forever
Because they're a colony.

-wow.

So much
To learn about corals.

I love them.
What else do we have?

The next coral that we have
Over here is a xenia coral.

Agnes: oh, it looks like
A cauliflower.

They're called pulsing xenias
Or pumping xenias

Because the polyps
Looks like little hands,

And they're always
Opening and closing,

Opening and closing
And opening and closing.

-see them?
-uh-huh.

They're moving.

They do for excreting
The waste and gas exchange.

So are you implying that
By opening and closing,

They're basically
Pooping and farting?

Uh...

That's what
I was going to ask.

Great minds.

Probably kind of something

They're a beginner coral.

These can get
A little invasive sometimes,

And they can
Just grow too fast.

What people generally
Like to do is, like,

They just make a little
Island for them separately,

So they don't touch
The bigger rockwork

And just cover
The whole aquarium.

So what happens
When they get too big?

Do you cut them?

You can just cut them,

And it's just going to
Become a new one,

And the stub is going to
Grow into another xenia,

So you can share them
With your friends.

So I think john is going to be
So overly excited.

He's definitely
Got nothing to whine about.

We might not have to take

They're not purple.

They're actually red
In color.

A custom bow-front tank.

It's 60" long.
It's 30" wide.

It's 85 gallons,
All freshwater.

We got lots of children
That redneck made

With our laser, and we had them
Mounted to little bases,

So it looks like there's all
Kids throughout the aquarium.

Inside, also, too, we have
A lot of artificial plants

Along with some branches,
As well.

But inside, what's most
Important is the fish.

You guys have over
30 fish in here.

They're all different kinds,
The bala shark,

Which is also called
The silver shark.

Their dorsal fin
Represents a shark.

That's how
They got their name.

Also inside there
Is a blue gourami.

They're also known
As a three spot gourami,

And those guys
Have three spots.

There's two
On their body,

And their eye is considered
Their third spot.

And also, too,
We have a gold neon rosy barb,

And these guys come
From northern india,

And they can grow
To be about six inches.

All the fish in here
Are community fish.

They're all going to get along
With each other, you know,

Just like we have to get
Along here in the classroom.

I think it's great.

I knew you guys would be
Able to pull this off.

It's very relaxing
For our kids.

When they need to take a break,
They can just climb up there

And hang out, calm down,
Watch the fish.

It's even cool when

"Galaxaios,"

Which means milky white,

Just like the milky white tips
On that coral.

So they can get
The right amount of lighting.

Once in place, the ecotec
Lighting will mimic

The same conditions
They get in the ocean.

Because it's called
The donut coral, too.

It's incredible.

I knew that there was going
To be some serious

Engineering challenges.

I took a big risk by taking
That wall out

Before you guys
Even got here, but, man,

I'm blown away,
Vastly exceeds expectations.

Wayde: so after
You ripped your wall out,

It was important to us to have
The same configuration

Of the arch here,
So putting this extension

On the end was
A little difficult.

This is not an ordinary,
You know, corner-shaped tank.

This tank is approximately
600 gallons.

It's 96 inches long,
60 inches long this way,

24" wide,
And it's 36 inches tall.

John: there's a lot of fish
In there, too.

Brett: we got over 50 fish.

The powder blue tang happens
To be my favorite fish of all.

We have
A purple square anthias.

In here we also have
A sailfin tang,

Also known as the desjardini.

These are the biggest
Of the sailfin tang.

They get to be about 15 inches,

And the reason they get
Their name sailfin

Is because when they open up,

They actually look like
A sail of a boat.

And I think they come
From the red sea.

I mean,
You know what's amazing

Is the different
Corals you brought.

I mean, you brought
One of my personal favorites,

The bubble coral.

Also, too, is we have
A rasta leather coral,

And this is
An aggressive coral.

They actually have
Fingers that stick out,

And you have to
Give them enough room

So that they don't mess
With any of the other corals.

In total, we have over a dozen
Species of coral in the tank.

They all look happy
And healthy.

On the other side,
We had your guys come in,

Do all the cabinetry work
To match around the stand.

Best lights out on the market
For a reef aquarium,

You can change the lighting
In your tank from your phone.

You set it up.
You want a lightning storm.

You push the button.
It goes into a lightning storm.

Wow.
That's really cool.

I didn't even know
That was possible.

This week, we built two tanks
For our deep-diving client.

The pint-sized tank we built
For the wright preschool

Is 55 inches tall
And 5 feet wide.

The 85-gallon freshwater tank
Will give young sea explorers

A chance to see
More than 30 fish

Enjoy their underwater
Playground.

John's home aquarium is
An l shape that's been modified

To contour the curves
Of his home.

This natural paradise
Features saltwater fish

And coral from the world's
Best diving sites.

The multi-sided tank is visible
From john's living area,

As well as his den.

The 60 fish and 13 colonies
Of coral make this tank home.
