He wants another tank, So I sold it to him.

When this tank gets here.

Today, we're in wetumpka, Alabama,

Visiting some of our favorite Clients at wind creek casino.

Hey, What's up, guys?

Their name Might sound familiar.

We created an awesome lighthouse At one of their other locations.

And they decided To double down with a tank

For the grand opening Of their new casino.

We're gonna do The same thing here,

But we want to make it Even better.

Cody: here we are. Here's the gaming floor.

Look at this place.

90,000 square feet.

90,000 square feet demands A massive aquarium.

And this is where The tank is gonna go --

The center bar.

The bar is gonna sit Right here at the bottom,

And then you'll have games Right here.

People will be sitting Right here,

Having cocktails, Playing games.

That's right. So you will be the focal point.

We can maybe do, like, A huge rectangle on that side,

A huge rectangle on that side, And one in the middle.

Won't you have some funny Viewing angles coming into that?

Yeah, you might.

Looks like we're gonna have To take this from another angle

And lose the angles Completely.

I'm thinking an oval Of some sort.

If it's round And it goes around the bar,

I mean, that gives you A full, 360-degree view.

We can make the window 10 foot, The stand 6 foot,

And that would give the total Height of the aquarium 16 feet.

Cody: Oh, that would be great.

You're gonna have to dive In this aquarium,

It's gonna be so big.

That it is.

The last tank we built For wind creek

Was a lighthouse theme.

This theme is size.

Brett: the casino Is five times big as the last,

So naturally, The tank is five times as big.

In all, this is one of the Biggest tanks we've ever built.

How big Will the fish be?

Brett: we could have Whatever fish you want.

In this size tank,

Especially it being An oval,

The one thing That we could do in this tank

Is we could put sharks In here.

Wayde: sharks love To swim in circles.

Cody: no way. We love that for sharks.

With a big tank, big fish -- It's gonna be great.

That brings in The big players.

That's right. Absolutely.

Brett: since the casino Is already completed,

We don't have a door big enough To fit a tank this size.

This means we'll have To build it in sections

To get it in And assemble it on site.

The more pieces an aquarium has, The more difficult it is.

And this one is gonna have A lot of pieces.

Everything's gonna have to be Hand-carted in

And then built on site.

If that's the case,

We got to do something with frp And then bring panels in.

We have to. Yeah.

Frp, guys -- it's "Fiberglass Reinforced plastic."

So in order for us To make that happen,

We usually use fiberglass And then inset windows.

Dealing with frp is a whole Other layer to this build.

It just adds To the difficulty.

Wayde: But it's the only way

We can get a tank this size In the building.

In all, this is gonna be A six-week build.

Yeah, we'll have to break The install into two phases.

Phase one -- getting The steel stand in place.

Phase two -- Assembling the tank on site.

We'll make this happen, All right?

We need to get everybody On board for this massive tank.

I have a huge list of things That need to get done,

And I need everybody.

But I'm not the only one at atm Making a list.

It's my bucket list. You know, I'm getting older.

And I have things That I want to do.

This year will mark My 70th birthday.

Who knows How much time I have left,

Especially with this crew.

It's just going by me So quickly.

I don't know if I'll ever Accomplish any of these things.

Maybe if you didn't take Three lunches,

You'd accomplish more. I can't do that.

Wayde: all right, guys. Let's get down to business.

A tank For wind creek casino.

This thing's 16,000 gallons.

It's gonna have to be done In stages, a lot of pieces.

So we're gonna be gone A lot.

It's multiple trips.

We're gonna have To pull together on this one.

This is like no other job We've done.

Brett: The tank for wind creek casino Will be a massive oval shape

Right smack in the middle Of the gaming-floor bar.

It'll be divided Into four acrylic panels

Joined together by fiberglass Reinforced plastic.

The vibrant coral inserts Will impress

Both the card sharks And the real sharks.

Rounding out everything

Is custom shelving And decorative facade work

That'll make this tank Fit right in

With the high rollers Of wind creek.

Our atm crew is wasting no time Getting to work on this tank.

Acrylic and coral inserts Are started,

And wayde is welding The steel stand.

We start by creating a template Of the curve we want.

From there, we cut notches In the steel rod

So we can make it flexible.

Once it's pliable, We can shape our rod

To match the template perfectly.

Now we got to weld All those slots back.

And that's gonna maintain The strength

When you re-weld All those spots.

Don't forget, that stand's Gonna go way out, dude.

Yeah, it's huge. Huge. Yeah.

So I got to add, like, Two more pieces that way,

Two more that way.

Man, you're gonna be here A long time.

There's a lot of work here. [ chuckles ] Guess what?

I'll be in my office.

Brett: The crew worked major o.T.

To get the four sections Of this 30-foot stand completed.

It's packed up and ready To ship to alabama.

Let's get this sucker Unloaded.

We're meeting it there to start Phase one of the install.

Phase two Will be in a few weeks

Once the acrylic and the frp Is finished.

We got to go through This little opening.

It's a little difficult.

Now we're gonna hoist it up, Bring it in.

Once we lift it with the cables And it's up,

We can actually swing it.

It will go in the door A lot easier.

You guys guide it Through the door,

And then we're gonna swing it On the cart.

Bring them up a little bit.

Up a little bit more.

All right, this is the first Steel stand, guys,

So let's get it in place.

To build a complex Filtration system

That sits right underneath The aquarium.

They have, by far, The best buffet in town.

At first, It was a piece of cake.

But I hit a wall made of meat.

Luckily, my adoring fans Are helping me get through his.

General: One of them is not my daughter.

Heather: he is not gonna have Time to get his bucket list done

Because I'm gonna kill him Today.

Both: General! General!

After frankie forklifted my dad Back to the shop for a nap,

We went over our ideas For the buffet tank.

Since some of us work

On more than just expanding Our waistlines.

We came up with the idea That we have a menu

That is gonna go Into the tank.

We're gonna basically Sandwich a menu

In between two pieces Of acrylic.

Slide the menu in here, Right?

We're gonna glue Around the acrylic,

And we're gonna Sandwich this.

And then, This top is left open

So you can pull it out And change it out.

Anytime they want to change Something on their menu

Or put something different in, They can interchange it.

Heather: Isn't that cool?

That's a very, Very cool idea.

Heather: The over 9-foot-long tank For wind creek's buffet

Will sit at the entrance queue

So diners will have A beautiful view

As they get ready to chow down On some gourmet grub.

The custom-coral insert Will be home to colorful fish,

And we'll add a menu holder

That displays today's Mouthwatering catch.

Brett: since the massive tank For wind creek's bar

Could be a swimming pool For godzilla,

We need to make the support Structure in sections

So it's small enough To get into the casino.

Jason cooper At gist specialities

Is making these sections Out of frp,

Also known as fiberglass Reinforced plastic.

This structure Is what's gonna hold

The acrylic panels in place.

Making frp involves

Layering a hot polymer On sheets of fiberglass

That'll harden to a durable Shell when it cools.

That is called An exothermic reaction.

The fact that you know the word "Exothermic" amazes me.

Dude, Look at the size of it.

Brett: wow.

What's up, j? Hey, guys.

We need to make sure the stuff We're building at the shop

And the stuff cooper's building Fits together perfectly.

Like a glove, baby.

Just think -- that acrylic Panel's right here.

That's the whole panel.

I know. It's huge.

And it's gonna sit on that steel Stand at 72 inches.

Then this tank's gonna go up 10 more feet.

Dude, this thing, Filled with water,

Is almost 180,000 pounds Of water weight.

While the general Catches his breath,

I have a 16,000-gallon tank To worry about.

Our team is hanging A 10-foot-tall coral insert

So we can get an idea When we're installing on site.

I can't believe How big it is,

Especially seeing it now In person.

I think this is the biggest Insert we've ever made.

We got eight pieces total.

They're roughly 800 pounds apiece.

And don't forget, coral's Gonna be coming off here.

I won't be able To fit in here.

You know What I'm saying?

We need enough room between The coral insert and the acrylic

So we can get a person in there To do the install on site.

Plus, we need a safe amount of Space for the fish to swim, too.

It's a tight squeeze.

We have to figure This out now.

Brett: and now it's time For a quick fish fact.

Some fish have names

That would fit right at home In a card game.

Brett: the atlantic Spade fish is covered

With attractive black-and-white Zebra stripes.

The stripes are used As camouflage,

So they appear like dark leaves In the water.

So when it comes To disguising itself,

This atlantic spade is an ace.

Wayde: we're building A 16,000-gallon tank

For a casino in alabama.

The reef-wall inserts

Still need coral pieces Attached to them.

But after measuring out The space that we have,

There's definitely no room For these guys.

The acrylic's, like, 5 inches thick.

Hold on. 5 inches?

It looks like There's not enough room

For both the coral and someone To get inside this tank

For the necessary maintenance For this thing.

From right here To right here.

And that's all we have To work with.

We have 25 inches.

I won't be able To fit in here.

It's a tight squeeze.

Yeah, you're not Gonna be able to turn.

We need to make the coral Not stick out as much.

Dude, this is gonna Be pretty tough.

Wayde: 25 inches of space in the tank Is not ideal for moving around.

But if we modify The coral pieces

So they're closer to the wall,

There should be just enough Space to keep them

And still be able To get somebody inside.

Catching mistakes like this Are why test runs are crucial.

Wayde and brett are busy Getting the tanks finished,

So they sent agnes and I To sea dwelling creatures

To pick out fish.

Hey, eric! Heather, how are you?

So, we're working On two projects

For the creek casino In alabama.

The first one is, like, Monstrous.

And they definitely Want sharks.

Okay. Well, that's cool.

And the second one Is a buffet tank.

So we're thinking we want Kind of, like, some, maybe...

Both: food-themed fish.

Oh, I'm sure we're gonna come up With some great ideas.

Why don't we start With the sharks?

Right on. I love sharks.

I like sharks, as long as I don't have to swim with them.

Oh, look at these Blacktips.

Eric: They're a little excited.

These are so cool.

These are pretty aggressive. Look at them.

They're moving quick.

Blacktips, they always Have to be swimming.

Even when they're sleeping, They're moving.

They always have to have that Water passing over their gills.

So we have to ship them In a large-enough box

Where they can actually Turn around

And keep swimming Inside the box.

I'm sure they're gonna be

The highlight of that tank, For sure.

I mean, They're beautiful.

I definitely wouldn't want to be In there with them, though.

[ laughter ]

Look at the bat rays! [ gasps ]

Can we touch them?

Yeah, You can touch them.

Look at their cute faces.

Oh, he likes you. There. Look at that!

That is so cute.

Let's get a couple of these In the tank.

They are very cool.

It's a mauritius island Triggerfish.

The clown triggers Would work really well, too.

Look at that thing. Look at how awesome that is.

They'll be okay With the sharks?

Yeah, They're community,

But they're also Kind of aggressive

In the sense that nobody's Gonna bother them.

These are fish that are Always usually on the reef,

Where the sharks are.

You want to take a look At some other fish?

A buffet style. Oh, I got an idea.

Wow.

Coving our vegetables, The tomato clown fish.

Tomato clown?

As a juvenile, They'll have like multi bars.

And then, as they get older, They lose their bars,

But keep the one stripe.

I have some other great ideas For the food buffet.

Let's go check them out.

So, these would be perfect.

They're called Banana wrasses.

Don't they normally tend to hide Themselves under the sand?

A lot of wrasses do, But some don't.

Some are just always Swimming around and cruising.

They're also called Lime green wrasses, too.

So bananas or limes.

Definitely good For a buffet tank.

Well, we're just gonna Bag up the fish,

And we'll get them out To alabama.

We're back in alabama For phase two of the install.

To get everything in place, We're using a crane.

The crew is using ratchet straps To secure each piece.

The crane operator is carefully Moving the precious cargo.

Other way. Other way.

Each material Has its own challenges.

The acrylic is huge and heavy.

Man: hold it.

Next comes the frp.

It's not as heavy, But once it's in the straps,

It can slip and slide out.

Watch that panel, guys.

Now all that's left Is the coral inserts,

Which requires The lightest touch.

It's so fragile.

Whoa, whoa, whoa!

Both you guys Are fully getting in.

It's uncomfortable 'cause You're in tight quarters.

Yeah, He's not comfortable.

Wayde: Redneck can't equalize. His ears are blown out.

It hurts.

Wayde: we're installing A massive, oval-shaped tank

At wind creek casino in alabama.

To get everything in place, We're using a crane.

The trickiest pieces are The giant coral insert panels.

They're oddly shaped And fragile,

Which means it's tough to get A good grip with these straps.

Whoa, whoa, whoa!

Dude, you all right?

You all right? Redneck: yeah, I'm fine.

This panel isn't fine.

The coral insert is fragile,

So we couldn't tighten The straps too much

Or we would have crushed it.

But when the straps Aren't tight, things slip.

Lookit. It's all over the place.

That's a lot of repairing On site.

It's gonna cost us. Damn.

Red will be able to make repairs To the insert

Once it's in place.

This is a major problem That will set up back.

But for right now, We need to move on

To get everything else inside.

Once we get each section Of our tanks to the door,

We're using An unconventional way

To get it in the door

So we can get it To its final resting place.

You know, these things weigh About 13,000 pounds.

We got these air coasters

That literally make this thing Slide in on air.

It is the coolest thing You've ever seen.

Compressed air will fill a bag That we place

Under each corner of the tank.

These bags can lift Thousands of pounds,

Making the tank Almost weightless.

We're only gonna put about 8 to 10 pounds

Of pressure on that floor Per square foot.

Brett: oh, wow.

So, we're going From 18,000 pounds

To, like, 90 pounds.

Basically, yeah.

Us walking on the floor

Is putting more pressure On that floor

Than we're gonna put With this tank.

Especially him Walking on the floor.

Hold on. How are we pushing it?

We're gonna push it.

By hand? By hand.

And we're gonna take it Nice and slow.

It takes about 1 pound of Pressure to move 1,000 pounds.

So let me get this Straight.

We used a crane To get this in here,

And now we're gonna use Eight guys

To push it into place Using your air coasters?

We're as strong As a crane.

Wow. That's pretty cool, man.

Heather would love This thing.

She could put it under you And get your ass up

When you're sleeping On the couch.

[ chuckles dryly ]

Till we're at the right height.

In all, an eight-hour job Requiring plenty of manpower.

After moving an 80-ton tank Into place,

Moving a 5-ton buffet tank Seems like a walk in the park.

Watch the door. Pull it Towards you a little bit.

So, where's this bad boy Going?

It's going right in between The two columns.

This tank's gonna sit Right here.

What's the measurement? We got 32 inches.

Before we put water in the tank,

The casino needs to set up The gaming floor.

So we're using this time To connect the plumbing.

And brandon will do the repair On the coral insert

That was damaged During the install.

Brett: you know a tank is huge When a guy over 6 feet tall

Needs stilts to work on it.

Wayde: Once everything's in place,

It's time to fill This bad boy up with water.

Brett: when a tank of this size Is filled with water,

We need to check everywhere To be sure

There's no damage From the water weight.

We got 70 tons of water weight Sitting here right now.

So what I need you To do is,

I want you to walk around The whole perimeter,

Check all the seams, The silicone, and everything.

And I'm gonna go underneath The steel stand

And work my way around.

Wayde: this tank is a massive 16,000 gallons.

The plumbing is a complex web Of pipes.

If something's wrong, It's gonna be tough

To figure out where The problem's coming from.

Brett: I see a puddle of water,

And that can mean Only one thing.

We need them right now, Dude.

I'm gonna need kyle and redneck To dive the tank.

They need to look across All the seams

To see where something Went wrong.

The tank was almost All the way full,

And we started getting Some drips.

We're not sure Where it's coming from.

Both of you guys Are fully getting in.

It's uncomfortable 'cause you're in tight quarters.

Once kyle and redneck Dive in,

It's gonna be A tight squeeze.

There's only a small amount Of clearance

Between the coral wall And the acrylic.

Wayde: I'd do the job myself, But I get claustrophobic.

Yeah, and we'd need The jaws of life to get you out.

This 16,000-gallon tank Has a catwalk built above it.

This is where we have access To maintain the tank

And where red and kyle Will be diving into it.

Wayde: our first step Is for the guys to look around

And see if there's any Potential openings

For the water to leak out.

But immediately, It looked like the squeeze

Was a little too much For redneck.

Hey, I think redneck gained A little weight, dude.

Brett: okay.

Yeah, He's not comfortable.

Kind of looks like a possum -- Bald, naked possum.

Redneck's in there For only a minute

Before he's bolting back up For air.

Something's wrong.

Pressure.

Useless?

You're done for the day --

It's gonna pop all day -- Especially diving.

One man down.

Redneck couldn't get His breathing down

In such a tight space.

Now it's up to kyle To get the job done.

I guess there's some perks To being shaped

Like a pile of twigs.

Okay. They're gonna put The dye in right now.

We'll use a black dye and have Him squirt it along the seams.

If the dye is drawn To any location,

We'll know there's a breach,

And that's where The water's getting through.

Tank expanded a little bit,

So I think It got in to the corner,

And that's why it's leaking Right now.

So he's gonna squirt Some dye in.

As soon as the dye goes Behind that area,

That means that's the area we're Gonna have to cut out and patch.

And to be doing this while The client looks on -- not good.

It's still clear, right? Yeah.

None of the black dye that We squirted along the seams

Has breached the tank And traveled to our leaky pipe.

So that means The leak is somewhere else.

The plumbing for this tank Is very complicated.

There's hundreds of pipes.

It's nearly impossible To figure out

Where the leak's coming from.

I think we're gonna have To drain the whole entire tank.

The whole thing.

Since we're draining this baby, I'm not taking any chances.

It'll take a day To drain 80 tons of water

Into a holding tank

And a day to seal everything Again.

It's a hell of a lot more work,

But since we don't know The location of the leak,

It's all we can do.

Now we'll refill And cross our fingers.

B. How's it going?

It's looking dry.

Everything's clear up here, Dude.

No leaks, no nothing. I'm good up here.

Now that the tank's Holding water,

We can put the sand in,

And brett can check The salinity and ph

To make sure it's spot-on.

While that happens, The big guy and red

Are heading over To the buffet tank

To get the fish in.
