For the grand opening
Of their new casino.

We're gonna do
The same thing here,

But we want to make it
Even better.

Cody: here we are.
Here's the gaming floor.

Look at this place.

90,000 square feet.

90,000 square feet demands
A massive aquarium.

And this is where
The tank is gonna go --

The center bar.

The bar is gonna sit
Right here at the bottom,

And then you'll have games
Right here.

People will be sitting
Right here,

Having cocktails,
Playing games.

That's right.
So you will be the focal point.

We can maybe do, like,
A huge rectangle on that side,

A huge rectangle on that side,
And one in the middle.

Won't you have some funny
Viewing angles coming into that?

Yeah, you might.

Looks like we're gonna have
To take this from another angle

And lose the angles
Completely.

I'm thinking an oval
Of some sort.

If it's round
And it goes around the bar,

I mean, that gives you
A full, 360-degree view.

We can make the window 10 foot,
The stand 6 foot,

And that would give the total
Height of the aquarium 16 feet.

You're gonna have to dive

It's gonna be so big.

The last tank we built
For wind creek

Was a lighthouse theme.

This theme is size.

Brett: the casino
Is five times big as the last,

So naturally,
The tank is five times as big.

In all, this is one of the
Biggest tanks we've ever built.

How big
Will the fish be?

Brett: we could have
Whatever fish you want.

In this size tank,

Especially it being
An oval,

The one thing
That we could do in this tank

Is we could put sharks
In here.

Wayde: sharks love
To swim in circles.

Cody: no way.
We love that for sharks.

With a big tank, big fish --
It's gonna be great.

That brings in
The big players.

That's right.
Absolutely.

Brett: since the casino
Is already completed,

We don't have a door big enough
To fit a tank this size.

This means we'll have
To build it in sections

To get it in
And assemble it on site.

The more pieces an aquarium has,
The more difficult it is.

And this one is gonna have
A lot of pieces.

Everything's gonna have to be
Hand-carted in

And then built on site.

If that's the case,

We got to do something with frp
And then bring panels in.

We have to.
Yeah.

Frp, guys -- it's "Fiberglass
Reinforced plastic."

So in order for us
To make that happen,

We usually use fiberglass
And then inset windows.

Dealing with frp is a whole
Other layer to this build.

It just adds
To the difficulty.

Wayde:
But it's the only way

We can get a tank this size
In the building.

In all, this is gonna be
A six-week build.

Yeah, we'll have to break
The install into two phases.

Phase one -- getting
The steel stand in place.

Phase two --
Assembling the tank on site.

This thing's 16,000 gallons.

It's gonna have to be done
In stages, a lot of pieces.

So we're gonna be gone
A lot.

It's multiple trips.

We're gonna have
To pull together on this one.

This is like no other job
We've done.

Brett:
The tank for wind creek casino
Will be a massive oval shape

Right smack in the middle
Of the gaming-floor bar.

It'll be divided
Into four acrylic panels

Joined together by fiberglass
Reinforced plastic.

The vibrant coral inserts
Will impress

Both the card sharks
And the real sharks.

Rounding out everything

Is custom shelving
And decorative facade work

That'll make this tank
Fit right in

With the high rollers
Of wind creek.

Our atm crew is wasting no time
Getting to work on this tank.

Acrylic and coral inserts
Are started,

And wayde is welding
The steel stand.

We start by creating a template
Of the curve we want.

From there, we cut notches
In the steel rod

So we can make it flexible.

Once it's pliable,
We can shape our rod

To match the template perfectly.

Now we got to weld
All those slots back.

And that's gonna maintain
The strength

When you re-weld
All those spots.

Don't forget, that stand's
Gonna go way out, dude.

Yeah, it's huge. Huge.
Yeah.

So I got to add, like,
Two more pieces that way,

Layering a hot polymer
On sheets of fiberglass

That'll harden to a durable
Shell when it cools.

An exothermic reaction.

The reef-wall inserts

Still need coral pieces
Attached to them.

But after measuring out
The space that we have,

There's definitely no room
For these guys.

The acrylic's, like,

For the necessary maintenance

To get everything in place,
We're using a crane.

The crew is using ratchet straps
To secure each piece.

The crane operator is carefully
Moving the precious cargo.

Has its own challenges.

The acrylic is huge and heavy.

Next comes the frp.

It's not as heavy,
But once it's in the straps,

It can slip and slide out.

Now all that's left
Is the coral inserts,

Which requires
The lightest touch.

It's so fragile.

It's uncomfortable 'cause
You're in tight quarters.

To get everything in place,
We're using a crane.

The trickiest pieces are
The giant coral insert panels.

They're oddly shaped
And fragile,

Which means it's tough to get
A good grip with these straps.

The coral insert is fragile,

So we couldn't tighten
The straps too much

Or we would have crushed it.

But when the straps
Aren't tight, things slip.

This is a major problem

Basically, yeah.

Than we're gonna put
With this tank.

Moving a 5-ton buffet tank
Seems like a walk in the park.

This 16,000-gallon tank
Has a catwalk built above it.

This is where we have access
To maintain the tank

Will be diving into it.

Wayde: our first step
Is for the guys to look around

And see if there's any
Potential openings

For the water to leak out.

But immediately,
It looked like the squeeze

Was a little too much
For redneck.

We'll know there's a breach,

And that's where
The water's getting through.

Tank expanded a little bit,

So I think
It got in to the corner,

And that's why it's leaking
Right now.

So he's gonna squirt
Some dye in.

As soon as the dye goes
Behind that area,

That means that's the area we're
Gonna have to cut out and patch.

And to be doing this while
The client looks on -- not good.

It's still clear, right?
Yeah.

None of the black dye that
We squirted along the seams

Has breached the tank
And traveled to our leaky pipe.

So that means
The leak is somewhere else.

The plumbing for this tank
Is very complicated.

There's hundreds of pipes.

It's nearly impossible
To figure out

Where the leak's coming from.

I think we're gonna have
To drain the whole entire tank.

The whole thing.

Since we're draining this baby,
I'm not taking any chances.

It'll take a day
To drain 80 tons of water

Into a holding tank

And a day to seal everything
Again.

It's a hell of a lot more work,

But since we don't know
The location of the leak,

It's all we can do.

Now we'll refill
And cross our fingers.
