Brett: tracy morgan's One of our favorite clients.

We made him A 3,000-gallon shark tank,

And now he wants us to Build him a new tank

For his beloved octopus Named bwaydette.

But before we Build that dream home,

We're making tracy's dream of Swimming with sharks come true.

Tracy: ohh! [ indistinct shouting ]

Let's go!

Tracy was gung ho About the shark dive

Until he stared jaws Right in the face.

[ respirators hissing ]

Wayde got tracy's heart Back to a normal rate,

And now he's trying again.

Morgan is a nurse shark that Used to live in tracy's tank,

But when she outgrew it, They moved it into this tank

At the long island aquarium.

I was in the world of the shark.

I feel very close to sharks.

Before we head back to jersey,

Our friend joe from the aquarium Has one more stop for tracy.

Joe: so, this is a giant Pacific octopus, cold water.

We keep him About 55 degrees.

What were you guys Looking to set up?

I have a g.P.O., too. A giant pacific octopus

Her name is bwaydette.

But incredible Escape artists.

They've got a pretty good brain Going in there.

Brett: I've actually heard stories

Where octopus Have actually escaped,

Gone into another tank, Eaten fish,

And then Gone back to their home.

I've heard it as well.

'cause I had A couple of hot dogs

Come up missing At my house.

I'm gonna Ask bwaydette about that.

So, everybody knows We just got back from jersey.

We saw tracy morgan again.

That guy's nuts. He's so cool.

He has this octopus, It's like this big,

And when it stretches out With its arms,

It's probably About this big right now.

Got a tank in his living room That's falling apart.

We're gonna take the octopus out And house the octopus,

And then we're gonna Put the new tank in,

Get it set up As quick as possible,

And put it in the tank.

We're gonna put a ship Sunken at the bottom of this

So the octopus Can crawl all around it.

And then a second ship -- Something up above,

Like another ship Of some sort, up above,

Sitting in the tank so it Looks like it's in the tank,

That the octopus Can go up and grab it.

So it's actually In the tank?

You know what, Redneck...

I asked you To send the gift.

Yeah, I did. I want to know how it went.

He sent A camouflage onesie.

A pair of cowboy boots That she can't wear

Until she's, like, 3 years old.

So, wayde and I were On the plane, and we Were talking about it.

We're gonna surprise him With a better gift.

We want to do, like, A little mini baby bottle.

Like a baby bottle tank.

Maybe just do something Maybe about this high.

Something real simple. We thought that'd be nice.

Especially he loves fish. That's a great gift.

Here's the key -- Time is of the essence.

This stuff's Got to be done now.

We want to make sure that This new aquarium for bwaydette

Is another incredible piece For tracy's aquarium collection.

We'll start with A tall, cylindrical tank

That will give tracy A 360-degree view

Of his favorite Eight-legged baby.

A custom, shiny, black facade Framing the top and bottom

Will complement Tracy's living room decor.

A "20,000 leagues under The sea"-inspired sunken ship

Will be perfect For the octopus to hide in

And plot her next capture,

Like the smaller boat Idling above.

Topped off with Colorful coral accents,

This upgraded tank Will definitely be one

That bwaydette will be Happy to "Octopi" [occupy]

For many years to come.

Wayde: The acrylic for tracy's tank's

Been shaped into a cylinder And bonded.

Right now it's being polished up

So it looks like A flawless diamond.

The guys have that under Control,

So me and brett Are gonna call tracy

About a design issue we have On the top of the aquarium.

We talked about Having the ship at The top of the tank

So when you look into The tank, you can see The bottom of the ship,

And wayde thinks It should be one ship,

And I think it should be The other ship,

So we want to kind of Show them to you and Hope you can decide.

We won't put either of these Plastic boats inside the tank,

But we're gonna make a model Of the one that tracy picks,

And that's the one That will go in.

The first one right here Is like a cargo ship, all right?

Then the next one Is the police cruiser.

I have to Tell you guys something.

She makes all the decisions

On the furniture That goes into her tank.

The octopus?!

Wayde: this is not An ordinary job.

We got to actually Take an octopus out of a tank

Into a holding facility.

Careful, guys. Watch the head.

Brett: we're building A new boat-themed tank

For tracy morgan's octopus.

He told us he wants to Be involved in every step,

So we called tracy to pick A design for a floating boat,

But it seems like He got a new decorator.

She makes all the decisions.

Wayde: The boat that bwaydette picked To top off her aquarium

Is being made out Of fish-safe polygem,

And we're painting it

Bwaydette's Favorite shade of blue.

The next step For this octopus tank

Is customizing The filtration system.

I just realized There's a problem

With the top Of the overflow box,

Which is where the water Leaves the tank

And flows into The filtration system.

Huh? [ sighs ]

Octopuses, they got beaks. Okay.

If they can fit their beak Through a hole,

The rest of their Body can, like, sliver Through the hole,

So if you have one That has a beak about this big

And you have a hole that big, That guy can get out.

So, this overflow -- That beak will go through here.

Can can't have any --

What about Putting netting behind it

So he can't Get through there?

Netting will block the octopus, But it would look sloppy.

You know what I'm thinking of doing?

I think if we build A custom box,

We perforate it.

You ever see, like, A peg board

That has a bunch of holes All the way through it?

Absolutely. Uh-huh.

If we Put enough holes in it,

The water can Flow through enough

For the filtration system

And the octopus Can't get through.

So instead of the water Overflowing through the teeth,

Now it's flowing into -- Correct.

There's a trick to that, Though.

You need A lot of holes in there

To get that amount of water To get into the filters.

You don't want the pump To cavitate or burn out.

How many holes Do you think we need?

[ sighs ]

500, 600, 700 holes?

We're taking All safety precautions.

We don't want her Going through the overflow.

We're gonna make sure She's happy and healthy And can't get out.

Next, brett and I need to Check out the shipwreck

For the bottom of the tank.

Into an octopus' playground.

As the ship that we have now. Absolutely.

Which is pretty big.

So I think Maybe what we should do

Is actually cut off A bigger chunk on the bottom

And put it on an angle So it looks like

The ship fell And it's sitting on a ledge.

Just like boom. It's just sitting there.

[ saw whirs ]

Wayde: While brandon cuts the ship To a perfect size,

Denny and chuy are working on A surprise baby-bottle tank

For tracy's new daughter,

And the rest of the Gang is wrapping and Loading the octopus tank

For the trip to jersey tomorrow.

Transport it into the garage Into a holding facility.

To get the tank set up.

Time is of the essence, So let's get this all set up.

Any time you move an animal Out of their home

That they've Been comfortable in,

There's always a chance Of stressing out the animal,

So you want to do it As seamlessly as possible.

We got tracy's maintenance guys From river and reef aquariums

To help us with the smooth Transition of bwaydette

Into her temporary home.

She's gonna Play with it.

Did you see The size of her beak at all?

Josh: I've never seen it.

Since the octopus Has a beak,

There's always a chance that It could bite if it gets scared.

We're gonna take the water From the octopus' old tank

And transfer it Into the new tank.

This is the best way To make the octopus Feel right at home.

Wayde: Come on. Keep going.

This is a delicate process.

If bwaydette Were to get overwhelmed

And release her ink,

It would cause a total mess,

Ruin the water We're trying to save,

And actually put her Under a lot of stress.

Wayde: No. Keep the net out.

She can actually tangle And hurt her.

She wants to Go to a dark place.

Once she knows It's comfortable in there,

She'll go right in there.

Go on. Hold the bucket.

She's going out the back.

Brett: and now it's time For a quick cephalopod fact --

Most people know that An octopus has eight arms.

Brett: All species of octopuses,

Which are From the cephalopod family,

Have an average Of 250 suction cups

On each of their eight arms.

The suction helps them get a Good grip as they move around,

And they can propel pretty fast

With a total of 2,000 suckers On their arms.

We built a new tank For tracy morgan's octopus,

And we're at his house now To set it up.

First we've got to get this girl Out of her worn-out home

And into a holding tank.

But coaxing eight long arms In a small bucket?

That's not gonna be easy.

Wayde: once she knows It's comfortable in there, She'll go right in there.

Right where She needs to be.

So let's close this up, Lock her down for a little bit.

Look. She's cruising around. She's happy.

With bwaydette In her temporary home,

We can finally get This broken-down tank

Out of tracy's home.

Installing a tank For his new octopus, bwaydette.

She's in a temporary tank In his garage,

And I just saw Something else in the garage

That I never want to see again.

This thing Was just engulfed in flames.

Tracy's house Almost caught on fire.

The chiller was in flames. I couldn't believe it.

So I grabbed The fire extinguisher,

And I put it out As quick as possible.

Wayde: close that door. I don't want it in the house.

Wow. This thing's melted. It's hot.

How's she doing? Is she doing all right?

I'm checking on her. She's hiding now.

She's right there.

Dude, I came out here. I smelled fire.

All of a sudden, I smelled it.

I see the thing Bursting into flames.

I grabbed The fire extinguisher

And blow out this air so it Doesn't smell in the garage.

So we need to get her In her new home as Quick as possible.

'cause she's like houdini.

She's gonna try to Get out of the aquarium,

So you have four padlocks On one side, four on another.

Brett: there's so many Hiding places for her.

We got a custom ship.

She has room To crawl underneath,

Crawl through the ship, And there's your boat up top.

We have an airline That's built into the boat

So it looks like the Motor's running and The thing is idling.

This is cool.

So what we did is we Created a surprise for Your whole family

And for your daughter, And guess what --

It's in your daughter's room Right now,
