And it's the setting for their
Famous mermaid show attraction.

That tank's doing really good.

So it's kind of a great time

And do a little bit of tweaking
To the tank.

Brett: the silverton is known
For their mermaid shows.

The girls do choreographed
Routines and the people love it.

There's nothing like it
Anywhere else in vegas.

We've got a little bit
Of an eyesore going on in there.

I'm having trouble
With the poles.

They do a lot of dancing,

Hanging off the poles
And moving,

So it's got to be able
To kind of adapt to them.

I can't figure out
What to do.

We really want to come in
And hide these poles,

And that's where we really,
Really need your help.

You want it to blend in.

Make it look like
It's part of this tank

Like everything else,so that's the chall

Especially in a casino.

Who knows?
If we do a great job here,

Maybe some strands of kelp.

You know, kelp's really talk,
Kind of long.

The long, stringy shape is gonna
Help us disguise the poles.

They'll make the kelp out of the
Vinyl/rubber kind of material.

So what it does,
It's actually free flowing.

So what we can do
Is get some strands of kelp

And figure out a way
To attach it to the pole.

For me, it's just,
Again, blending it in,

Making sure that it fits
And it's part of the tank.

This car aquarium
Will be built in two parts.

The first part was to cut
The car in half and gut it,

Turning it into a shell.

Part two, we'll build
A steel frame

That will support the tank,

Which will be
The shape of the windows.

Underneath will be the
Aquarium's pump, filter,

And life-support system.

Once everything's done,

The car will roll right up
Against the tank

And they'll never be able
To tell it's two parts.

We built him two spectacular
Tanks in his mansion.

He sent over his plans for
An elaborate quarantine system.

A quarantine tank
Is a way to ensure

That your fish are healthy

Before you put them
Into the main tank.

When adding new fish to a tank,

It's best to take it slow
And be patient.

The gilliats took a hit
By adding too many too fast

And not letting them acclimate.

This time,
They want to do it right

By slowly introducing them
One by one into the new system.

Bruce wants
A pretty elaborate tank.

It's not the design
That we would normally do,

But we want to give them
What they want.

He's been having problems
With fish dying.

He's been taking them
Right from the fish supplier

And putting them
Directly into his main tank.

Every time you introduce
A fish into an aquarium,

There's a possibility
Of disease or parasites.

Fish may be healthy
Coming from a supplier

But are susceptible
To these risks

During relocation and transport.

So to immediately introduce fish
From the supplier,

As the gilliats have been doing,

You run the risk
Of contaminating your aquarium.

And for these clients,
That's a big deal.

This setup is gonna be able
To enable him

To house probably
About 25 to 50 fish

That he can bring in at one
Time, put them into quarantine.

So, it's a great idea.

If you have the room,

A quarantine system
Is the way to go.

Well, he comes back
With this design.

He wants to put a rack system
In the corner of his kitchen.

To create an ice-block effect
With their quarantine system,

They want to stack
Four tanks vertically

In a staggered pattern.

He's building it in, literally,

A customized paint job.

We're thinking real colorful,

'cause all the aggressiveness

They call them
Lipstick tang.

See, 'cause they got
Those pretty lips.

And they do well in schools

It just didn't fit
The way I would accept it

And we have to cut the wall.

It sounds pretty simple
Until you think about the fact

We're in a multimillion-dollar
Mansion

And the owner's
Breathing down our necks.

Unlike scuba divers who get
Their oxygen from a tank,

Fish absorb
All the oxygen they need

When water passes
Through their gills.

Which of the following aquarium
Fish is an exception to the rule

And can actually
Breathe above water?

Bettas have a second respiratory
Organ called the labyrinth,

Which enables them
To breathe air

Directly from the surface
Of the water.

Having two breathing methods

Increases
Their rate of survival,

Allowing them to live
In oxygen-depleted waters

Under conditions that would be
Lethal to other fish.

We've been installing bruce

And leise's quarantine system

And now we realize

It doesn't fit properly
In the kitchen nook.

And actually wrap the pole
Underwater and decorate it.
