All right, so let-let's talk about what happened.

Um, actually, I'm more than willing

to talk to Chrissy and Mitch in the morning.

Cedrek, I am not open to talking to you

because you continue to lie.

- And that was it for me. - You don't know...

you don't know what happened.

- That's it for me. I... - You don't know what happened.

We get back from Tribal,

and Sai's initial response is one of anger.

I knew there was gonna be some damage control.

It was gonna have to happen quick,

because minutes before Tribal, I realized

that we were being played.

And so I told Chrissy to vote for Bianca,

but I did not have

a chance to tell Mitch and Sai

about Bianca's mastermind plan, and that

she played us.

She played us against each other.

- She was working all of us. - CHRISSY: Yep.

And five minutes before we leave, she says,

"I don't have a vote."

- So I couldn't even talk to anybody. - CHRISSY: No.

And it's all in my head.

- So I just managed to get to Chrissy. - Oh, my God.

I'm like, "Vote Bianca."

- Then she sent us... - And then she sent you two up to vote for her.

- And she didn't have a vote. - I was like, "What the..."

CEDREK: Sai's frustrated and confused, but she has

no idea that I'm the reason you're still here.

Like, I'm the reason

- you're still here right now. - SAI: I mean, I'm so glad

you and Chrissy sniffed out the vote,

because I thought it was you who wrote my name down.

- But who voted for Sai? - CEDREK: 'Cause here's the thing...

- Me and Chrissy voted for Bianca. - SAI: You and Chrissy.

I'm so excited.

If you asked me at the beginning of this tribe swap,

I thought I was dead in the water.

Kamilla and I got dropped on this island,

outnumbered, and we've worked our butts off to get

to the next phase of the game.

Not only did Kamilla and I survive,

but we also made two allies in the process,

with Joe and Shauhin.

That's good, but we're getting off

this godforsaken beach.

We're gonna see some of our old friends,

and we're gonna get to meet some new people.

Like, I'm so excited.

CHRISSY: When we drop our Buffs, it means I'm gonna see my old friends,

which I'm really dying

to talk to the original Civa.

'Cause there are six of us still in the game,

and I think they're gonna like Cedrek.

But he's got to get rid of Sai. I don't know.

He keeps wanting to bring her along,

and I'm like, keep hinting,

like, "You're gonna drown with this girl. Let her go."

DAVID: "It's day 12,

and the game is about to change."

- (Charity exclaims) - "Drop your Buffs.

SAI: I cannot wait to hug Mary,

because right before the switch,

we went from mortal enemies to very close allies.

Chasing each other all around the jungle

was the most fun I've ever had.

I was so happy to see Mary.

And I know this is not what everybody was expecting.

I just have, like, kind of knots in my stomach

just thinking about playing with Sai.

I just don't want to relive those days.

And it's not like I feel tight with my original Vula.

I want to scrub

green off of me.

Like, I'm only wearing this

'cause I can't be naked on national television.

I don't want any green on me.

I just want to start fresh.

I see something.

I see something, guys. Come on.

(Sai exclaims)

STAR: All right, y'all. "Read with all

the tribemates together."

- Uh-oh. - "Tomorrow, you will compete in a grueling challenge.

"After, some will feast.

"Some will not.

"And only one will be immune.

"For the rest of you, the snuffer looms.

Who will it consume?"

MITCH: The moment Star says "go," it is a

mad dash to find an advantage.

I don't even have on shoes or nothing.

(excited chatter)

KAMILLA: There is an advantage for tomorrow's challenge

somewhere on this beach.

That's massive, because only one person

is going to be immune.

Twelve of us can go home.

CHARITY: This is every man for themselves.

But I see Sai go off down a path,

and I'm like, "Hell to the nah.

You ain't going by yourself. I'm coming with you."

So I'm kind of trailing behind her,

looking around, and I look to my left...

and I see an advantage

out in the middle of the field.

Oh, my God. It's mine.

SAI: This is insane. I found

an advantage in tomorrow's challenge.

I don't know exactly what the advantage is,

but I'm hoping it gives me a leg up to get immunity.

"...where your advantage will be revealed."

- Nice. Good job, girl. Give me a high five. - (whoops softly)

Thirteen people in one camp is absolute insanity.

And I think any advantage

puts a target on your back.

And you'd be dumb to think

that it doesn't, but I came out here to play.

I'm really, truthfully, willing

to do anything,

as long as it keeps me safe and gets me further.

Jeff, you are not messing around, okay?

- JOE: A gallon a day. - Dude.

- Of milk? - That's what I'm saying. Yes, of milk.

- EVA: What? - SHAUHIN: You're serious?

JOE: And they all look at me like I'm crazy.

SHAUHIN: Joe and David

bonded over the fact that they both drink

a gallon of whole milk a day.

Could you imagine? I haven't drank a gallon of whole milk

in the last year, total.

I feel like that's a seven-year-old's drink.

DAVID: Yeah, mainly, mainly chocolate milk. And sometimes...

yeah, sometimes. Yeah.

- Like... - Yeah.

JOE: No, it's, like, two in, drink one, you know? Just...

SHAUHIN: I just imagine Joe

gets to the firehouse, and is like... (imitates burp)

"What's up, boys?"

"Nothing much. What's up with you, boy?"

"Nothing. Just finished a gallon of whole milk."

Maybe that's where he gets his pecs from, though,

you know?

Those things are immaculate.

CHARITY: Who wants to start?

Um, I'm Eva. I'm 23.

Obviously, yesterday, you guys got a big window into my life,

um, that I am on the autism spectrum.

And I really appreciate you guys all being so supportive.

And I'm super open about that in my life.

So, if anyone has anything they want to talk about

related to autism, I'm all ears.

JOE: The person I'm most excited to reconnect with is Eva.

I was so blessed with

that opportunity to help Eva, in that moment.

I will never forget that.

There might be a lot of people

that won a million dollars from here,

but I don't know many that came out here and helped a human

that was genuinely in need and got 'em out of it.

To me, everything else

is just gonna be icing on the cake.

- We still ones? You're sure? - Yep. Yeah, you're number one.

- Okay. Nothing's changed for me. - 100%. Nothing has changed.

Yeah.

So what's-what's the status?

- Who, what... - So, okay, so David and I connected, like, immediately.

- And he's legit? - And he is legit.

Like, he wants to play an honest game with integrity.

And I was like, "Have I got people for you."

- Perfect. - So I told him, you and Shauhin and I,

that we're tight. He's got Kyle.

He feels super strong about Kyle.

And if we can just all maintain loyalty to each other,

- Agree. - that would be so sick.

Joe and I have an extremely tight bond.

And I know that we, as a duo, are a threat.

Certainly, there's targets on us.

And so the plan is to bring together

strong, like-minded individuals

so we can run the game.

Don't share this with anyone. This is between us.

- Done. - I have Star's idol.

Yes.

But everybody knows I have it, though.

She did it in front of everyone.

JOE: It's huge that Eva said she has Star's idol,

'cause she said she'd use it with me if she needed.

And I feel protected now. And she

also feels protected, so that's great.

So we'll kind of start working some angles...

Yeah, talking to each of the people individually.

JOE: Our plan is to start building a team--

myself, Eva, Shauhin, David and Kyle--

all the physical threats, but also honest and loyal players.

'Cause the game doesn't have to be this new generation of

stabbing people in the back

and doing crazy moves just for the pizzazz.

I don't want to play this, like, backstabbing.

I heard you're a great guy, so I want to work with you.

- Know what I mean? - Bro. Day one, I hit this beach, man.

Number one, I was like,

there's so much backstabbing that goes on.

- Right? Right? - There's so much manipulation. And, like...

I don't want to be a shield.

I think everybody's tired of being shields this year.

- That's why I was like, this year, we deserve it, man. - Hell yeah.

Enough of being lied to, manipulated and used.

Joe and I,

we're no longer the meat shields of Survivor, right?

We're getting all the strong people together

and we are winning Survivor 48.

From now on,

you're lying, you're manipulating,

you're a strategist, you're a puzzle solver,

you're a social player, now you're the target.

in Survivor in this alliance,

and that's exactly what I wanted.

where we put someone on the podium who deserves to be there.

- but keep an eye over your shoulder, - Yeah.

because that guy will try and cut us when it comes time.

coming together right now are people

that are strong physical players

that want to play this game with honor and integrity.

And if we could work together,

if we can truly protect one another,

it's music to my ears.

I want to play an honest game.

I want to play a loyal game to my people.

You know, I'm locked in on that.

- Oh, yeah. - And I'm not playing around.

But at the same time,

this is a game for a million dollars.

And I've already lied a lot in this game.

And one thing everybody doesn't know is that

Kamilla is my number one.

We're in such a good spot.

I know. How did we... how did we do it?

The foundation of what Kamilla and I have

is built on deception.

As much as I would love

to just kind of come out and be honest about it,

I just can't at this point.

That's Survivor.

Any piece of information can get you messed up in this game.

So I got to make sure

that people don't see Kamilla and I as a duo.

Um, I would love to continue to stay, like, Civa strong,

keep our alliances and, like, keep bringing them in.

- I get all three of us are, like, way more thinkers here. - Mm-hmm.

But, like, if we could keep David and Chrissy around,

- and then we fight to the death. - Yeah.

Like, that's who you want to go with.

At this point in the game,

I want to move forward with the original Civa six.

We have the numbers

and on top of that, I have

a secret Block a Vote.

So we are in a great position.

CHARITY: I got Star and Mary on lock,

and they're gung ho on Sai, which-- she's an easy vote.

Everyone else would jump on that, too.

- KAMILLA: Yeah. - Done. Easy.

But there's some tricks going on.

This stays here.

Eva has an idol in her backpack

and a very strong alliance, and she's also

- a huge threat. - Okay.

CHARITY: I don't trust Sai,

and I don't really like Sai,

but if it was up to me, I would say,

"Let's vote Eva first.

"Let's break up that strong alliance.

"Let's cut the legs from under Joe.

Let's get rid of the idol."

To me, that is the smartest move.

Yeah.

- Who has it? You... - (shushing)

Don't-- Nobody else knows. Eva has an idol.

CHRISSY: Okay. Got it.

CHARITY: I would never operate like this

in the real world, but this is Survivor.

I feel justified to be this sneaky,

'cause I'm like, "This is a game. This isn't who I am."

- It's been a long day already. - Yeah.

- It's a lot going on. - CHARITY: Eh. I don't know.

I'm shocked.

And...

Do not feel bad when there's a million dollars on the line.

No, yeah.

Charity's telling me

that I need to go to Eva and ask for my idol back.

That kind of threw me a little bit.

I think Charity's just stirring up the pot.

She's creating drama.

I think she might be going rogue.

But here's the thing.

Me and Eva are friends now.

She helped figure out the puzzle lock,

so I let her keep the idol because finders keepers.

She literally was like,

"You need to get the idol back from Eva."

She's trying to get it back, too?

- Oh, my God... - She said, "We need to put it back into the game,"

and I'm like, "No."

EVA: Charity made sure

that everyone knows that I have an idol.

That girl has been working everyone.

She is extremely fake,

and I know she's out for me.

Nope.

Yep.

I'm keeping that thing.

Do not give that idol back.

EVA: Charity is my target.

Let's get her out of this game.

I don't even want her on the jury.

All right. For today's challenge,

you're gonna be divided into two teams of six.

On my go, you're gonna race through mud

and wood shavings until you get to a cage,

where you will use a grappling hook to retrieve a large bag

containing a key.

Once you have the key,

you work together to get to the top of a very steep ramp,

where you will use that key to unlock

and solve a Survivor puzzle.

The first team of six to finish

earns the merge meal.

Oh.

Biggest food reward of the season.

It will fuel you in every way.

But that is all you earn.

You do not earn immunity.

You do not earn a merge Buff. For that,

you'll have to work a little harder.

Here's how that works.

The losing six, you got no shot at anything.

So you will watch

as the winning six compete in an individual challenge,

where the last person standing earns this.

SHAUHIN: Sick.

- (cheering) - Whoa!

PROBST: The individual immunity necklace for Survivor 48.

With this around your neck, you are safe at Tribal.

And today, you also earn the merge Buff,

which means you will be the only person

guaranteed to make the merge.

For everybody else,

Tribal Council,

where somebody will be the sixth person

voted out of Survivor 48.

Yesterday, there was an advantage hidden at your camp.

How'd that go? Who found it?

- Sai. - Yeah.

Feeling good. You should.

- Let's see it. - I've been waiting.

I'll take it.

This is a big advantage, Sai, because it means

you don't have to compete in this exhausting challenge.

- SHAUHIN: Oh, my gosh. - CHRISSY: Wow.

PROBST: Instead, you go right to the end,

to the individual immunity challenge,

where you will be fresh.

That's a big advantage.

And you earn the merge meal,

- so you will eat. - (screams)

- (Eva laughs) - I needed to eat.

PROBST: All right.

Immediately gets up,

grabs the rope, and he can now help people up.

- Kyle can pull himself up. - KYLE: Hey, come on...

- PROBST: Charity trying to get a hand from Shauhin. - You got that, Charity.

- Here goes Chrissy. - KYLE: I got you, Chrissy.

- Come on up, Chrissy. - SAI: Good job, Chrissy!

PROBST: Muddy hands, can they hold?

- Chrissy's got the rope. - I got you, I got you.

- Joe is gonna offer to be a human ladder. - Walk on my head.

(grunting loudly)

MITCH: Hold on, Cedrek.

- (grunting loudly) - MITCH: Get up.

PROBST: Mitch is there to grab Cedrek.

the individual portion.

We have Mary, Chrissy,

Kamilla, Kyle, Star,

a very clean Sai--

she earned the advantage and

did not have to run in that

very difficult team challenge--

and then David, competing

for one immunity necklace.

That merge meal you're gonna eat-- that's coming.

We're not there yet.

We're here right now. This is it.

For this challenge,

it's very simple.

You're gonna balance a ball on a pole.

At regular intervals, you're gonna

add more sections of pole,

making it more difficult to balance.

If at any point your ball drops,

you're out.

The last person left standing wins immunity.

You earn the merge Buff as well.

You will be the only person

guaranteed to make the merge.

Shall we begin?

- Let's do it. - PROBST: All right.

Everybody grab your pole,

place your ball.

Your hands have to be under either the white paint

or the black paint.

Everybody looks very solid,

and this challenge is on.

We're gonna add our first section of pole.

It is a live transition, so if you drop

while doing this, you're out.

And what you're gonna do is

you're gonna grab a section of pole

and then you're gonna slide it into place.

And then you've got to move your hands down the pole

to where you're under the new painted section

that is white or black.

There you go, Star.

Now it's a little more difficult.

So you have to keep your eyes on that ball,

- KYLE: Mm-hmm. - (Charity chuckles)

(imitates camera clicking)

SHAUHIN: Million-dollar smile over there.

Yeah.

SHAUHIN: Two-million dollar biceps.

(chuckling)

PROBST: Don't start drifting. Keep digging in.

EVA: Oh, Mary...

- PROBST: Mary drops. - SHAUHIN: Out of nowhere. - CHARITY: Good job, Mary.

- DAVID: I'm gonna be honest, guys. I'm really worried. - Why?

This is, like, too good to be true, this meal, man.

I'm having the merge feast, filling my belly,

but then it dawns on me,

I'm Buffless.

And I know that going into Tribal.

I have yet to make the merge.

There's only one person who's safe, and that's Kyle.

- It looks really good on you, Kyle. - MARY: Yeah.

Should we talk for a second?

As in, like, who we want?

I know, me, personally, I'm down for Charity.

She's been scheming.

I don't know if I see this game as, like, Civa versus Lagi

- versus Vula anymore. - CHRISSY: No. - No.

STAR: Some people are scared to say a name first.

Unfortunately for me, I will say a name any day of the week.

Now, granted, my brother-in-law

told me not to say no names,

but, Robbie, I got to say names.

So, yes, I said Charity.

SAI: The only person who would tell Charity

is Mitch.

Mitch is probably gonna play his advantage

because everybody knows he has it.

DAVID: I think it's common knowledge Eva has an idol.

I heard she had an idol, I didn't know she had an idol.

SAI: All of this information

came out at the merge feast

about Eva's idol,

about Mitch's Block a Vote.

That was two big pieces of information.

'Cause Eva could pull out a win.

DAVID: What's the cons to doing Charity?

MARY: I would go for Charity over Eva.

SAI: Yes, Charity is very dangerous,

but anybody who has an idol,

aside from myself, is not good for my game.

So my next target is Eva.

I feel so bad for the other team.

They fought hard.

CEDREK: I got mud... everywhere.

Ugh. Dude, this is insane.

SHAUHIN: Oh, I don't know

if this is ever coming out of our hair.

Good job, everybody.

CHARITY: We fought hard.

We didn't come here to eat.

- We came here for a million bucks. - SHAUHIN: Damn right.

CEDREK: This challenge meant a lot to a lot of people,

and I was the cause of that loss.

I think what hurt more than

anything is the feeling that

you let other people down, you know?

CHARITY: All right, so for those of us

who haven't been to Tribal Council,

- like, what do we do? - EVA: Yeah.

- I'm new to this. - It's super insane.

JOE: It's-it's awful.

I'm just gonna tell you right now, I-I think it's awful.

- You think it's awful? - SHAUHIN: It is awful.

JOE: It's intimidating, you're nervous,

your heart's in your throat, and it's horrifying.

CHARITY: But this could also be a really easy...

- vote. - JOE: I think every single one

should-should be uncomfortable, right?

None of it should ever be easy, so...

CHARITY: Okay.

We're all here to play,

and the only place to play is at Tribal.

MITCH: For some people going to Tribal Council,

this is their first time going.

And it could be

their last time going.

The paranoia is unreal.

Yeah. Yeah, I think so.

Tonight, we're going with 13 people.

Thirteen people

are casting a vote.

It's gonna be absolute chaos tonight.

Just being real.

I want Eva to go because there is an idol in her bag.

But I don't know if I can get everybody on board,

and I think that's also a little bit too aggressive.

So,

there are some easier votes we could get out,

and then start really devouring each other.

What about Sai-- aren't you guys close?

CHARITY: I don't think she really trusts anybody.

Sai has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.

And you know what?

A likable personality thrives on Survivor.

You got to be likable enough.

So, we have six people in the original Civa,

and I think all of them would be down to vote Sai.

JOE: Here's the deal. Here's what I know.

I know that it's us,

- David and Kyle, okay? - SHAUHIN: For sure.

- But we got to play it cool. - Mm-mmm.

I say we write Charity.

JOE: I-I don't even think there's another option.

- I feel like that is rock-solid. - Mm-hmm. - Yeah.

SHAUHIN: It has to be Charity.

She's playing real loud, over the top.

Hey! (laughs)

- I like us. - (laughs)

SHAUHIN: On top of that, I don't think

there is a Civa Six Strong.

But I don't want to give them the opportunity

to have that Civa Six Strong moving forward.

When they come back, it's gonna be pandemonium.

EVA: Yeah.

SHAUHIN: But right now, we need

everybody else to come back from the reward,

because everybody's got a person that they want to vote out,

everybody's got people they want to work with.

But tonight is about drawing the battle lines.

And so, when they finally come back,

then all hell breaks loose.

The thing I like about this game is

it highlights different things.

This is a new start, a whole new game.

And it's chaotic with 13 people at one camp.

A lot can

go wrong tonight. Anything can happen.

MARY: Honestly, I just will say,

Charity is the first vote. That is the easy vote.

Mitch is the only one who trusts Charity.

So, so, so where's Lagi at?

Lagi. Lagi is basically Eva, Joe and Shauhin.

CEDREK: Eva, okay...

Joe and Eva are too close, though.

Yeah. I feel like we got bigger targets first, though.

I'm telling you, Charity is an easy vote.

SAI: I feel like y'all have more intel

about these people, so I'll follow.

But I think Charity is a very safe...

MARY: Charity is a safe first vote.

SAI: Eva should be the obvious vote because of the idol.

But everybody has been saying Charity.

That's the name I'm hearing a lot of.

If she goes home, there's no sweat off of my back.

And up until this point, I've been playing hard.

But, like,

I'm doing things differently on this beach.

I'm laying low,

just trying to be as inconspicuous as possible.

KYLE: So then,

Sai was like, "Everybody throw out Eva's name."

Obviously, like, we couldn't, like, buck back against it.

- Yeah, yeah. - But we kind of

steered the conversation away from that.

- Mm-hmm. - And so...

- Who threw that out? Like, Sai? - Sai.

- Okay. - 'Cause I think that Sai-- she...

I don't know why you're on Sai's mind.

- Okay. - Obviously, I'm not doing that.

EVA: Apparently, at the merge feast,

Sai was throwing my name out there.

And I just started getting really nervous for tonight,

'Cause I haven't been through Tribal,

and I know that I'm definitely a target.

You will take a deep breath.

- EVA: Yeah. - You'll be all right.

EVA: And everyone knows I have an idol.

So, a lot

of eyes have been on me, and that's scary.

We don't want this to get, like, super crazy superfast.

- Yeah. - Because if we start gunning for each other...

I don't know. I kind of feel like

- let's just do something easy. - EVA: Yeah.

CHRISSY: Which is?

CHRISSY: Okay.

EVA: I know that a lot of people want to get rid of Charity,

but Sai could definitely be the vote tonight.

I want to get rid of her because she's creating chaos,

and it's especially targeted towards me.

Charity said to my face to go Sai.

- To go Sai? - Yeah.

Charity was like, "We should go Sai."

'Cause then if it's three of us on Sai,

and then Charity and Mitch on Sai, that's five on Sai.

We have to get the group and figure this out.

Charity was pretty much a no-brainer to go home.

But here's the deal.

Sai's a hot mess, too.

These two got to go right now, because

if they get on the jury, like,

hell know fury like a woman scorned.

Like... (blows raspberry) we will never live that down.

Like, I can't read, like, is Sai cool?

- What's going on, honestly? - No, no.

She will play mind games and-and gaslight you.

- Oh, so she's good at Tribal. - She...

- She's a Tribal wizard. - She's good at T...

Yeah, she's good at... Yeah, she's dangerous.

Charity and Sai are both dangerous in their own ways,

but to me, Sai is like a venomous snake.

Charity is like a turtle.

I'm not scared of a turtle.

SHAUHIN: ...if they end up going Sai,

- then they have six Civa. - Mm-hmm.

We have four Lagi.

SHAUHIN: I don't trust Sai, but the problem

with Sai going home is

that does give Civa six strong members.

That scares me and I don't want that.

I think it makes the most sense, Civa Strong.

- Mitch is down for Civa Strong. - Mitch is down?

Talking about, uh, Civa strongness over here?

No. Easy plays.

- What do you think is easy? - Easy plays.

DAVID: Anybody on this beach who doesn't look at Civa

and say, "Wow, they got all six members,"

would not be considering all options.

I don't really have a relationship with Sai.

I don't want to talk to her.

DAVID: So naturally, I got to consider that.

But can I trust Mitch? Can I trust Charity?

Personally, I don't think so.

But do I trust them more than Sai? Absolutely.

Because Sai I don't really know very well.

- Charity's... Charity thinks it's gonna be Sai. - Okay.

DAVID: Going into my first Tribal Council,

there's definitely a bit of dread.

The good thing is most people here share a common enemy.

I don't think

Charity's got a lot of friends, I don't think

Sai's got a lot of friends. And frankly,

why go to war just yet? That war is gonna come.

It's sizzling, it's ready to boil over.

But for now, we have targets.

If this is your first time at Tribal,

grab one of the unlit torches,

dip it in and get fire.

This is part of the ritual at Tribal Council because

in this game, fire represents your life,

and when the fire's gone,

so are you.

First time having everybody here together.

Shauhin, what's it like at camp?

Because clearly, 13 people is a lot of people.

It is a huge house party

when you've been used to very small dinner parties.

And you're trying to get to know everybody.

You're watching and trying to see what's going on,

but you really don't know

who's snuck off to the bathroom together.

(laughing)

Mary, what's it like for you?

Right now, it feels like we are all dogs

in a huge dog park.

Some of us are fighting for the same ball.

Some of us are just sitting in the corner.

Some people want to be the biggest dog in the dog park.

KYLE: You know, Jeff, if I'm looking at it,

I feel like everybody's sniffing butts, you know?

Cedrek knows a thing or two about that.

- (laughing) - CEDREK: That happens.

Finally, I got you to laugh.

It's been 14 days I've been trying.

PROBST: Wow. Lots

of interesting analogies.

- (laughing) - Shauhin, let's stick

- with your example of parties. - Mm-hmm.

PROBST: You go to a small party, you don't know anybody.

That's your original tribe.

You got to quickly figure out, "Okay, well, it's a two-step.

It's a light little party, okay, everything's good."

"Oh, there's another party." You go to the other party.

Maybe you take a couple people with you.

"Oh, that guy's doing the robot.

Okay, I see what's happening over here."

You get here, this is a house party, as you said.

You realize now, "Oh, it's Club Condo. It's on."

- (laughing) - And now you're looking around,

and somebody's doing salsa, they're doing

the breakdancing over there.

But the key to a Club Condo is you want to get invited back.

That's what's happening tonight.

So, Eva, you've been so open in sharing

what you deal with in social situations

and the difficulties that can come with that.

So, how are you doing with 13 people?

EVA: I mean, I like talking to people.

The hard thing is I don't know if they're lying to me.

I'm not gonna pick up on those social cues

in the same way that everyone else is.

But I'm not gonna let that hold me back in this game.

And I think I've made good connections

with people that, hopefully, they feel the same about me.

And sooner or later, they will lie to my face.

But right now, like, I'm hoping

that I can trust people.

PROBST: Joe, if you spend enough time with people,

you will develop emotional connections

as well. Not just surface. Social.

How does that change the game, fundamentally?

Well, Jeff, to really build some of these great alliances

and some really good connections,

you have to be vulnerable.

And because you go through so much stress,

emotionally, mentally, physically,

you share it with these people on top of their stories.

So that vulnerability strengthens you so much,

just like it did with Eva and I.

Even though it might seem crazy from the couch,

you get so vulnerable in these moments

that within days, you feel like you've known 'em for years.

- Wow. - SHAUHIN: And to echo Joe,

I didn't expect to be telling things

to these people that I haven't told

to my closest friends and family.

And I think, if you look around,

everyone's nodding because

that's exactly what happens. It's very weird.

- The deepest, darkest. - I think people ask.

SHAUHIN: It's the strangest experience.

CHARITY: It's complicated because

these are real connections with real people,

but I'm also on Survivor playing this game

with one goal in mind, and that's to win Survivor.

But also, there's 13 of us.

That's a lot of people to talk to.

That's a lot of conversations to have.

There are people in this group that never approached me today

- that I didn't talk to. - PROBST: Really?

- Does that concern you? - Yeah.

My left eye has been twitching all day.

- (laughing) - Of course.

But what you said was, "There were people

- who didn't talk to me." - Mm-hmm.

That's part of being a Club Condo

- and reading the room. - Right.

And the room is, "Hey, I'm doing the bossa nova.

Either do it with me or find somebody else to dance with."

Right? That's the only dance I know.

- (laughing) - There we go, Jeff.

- You're killing it, Jeff. - He did the robot.

But Sai, you're agreeing?

'Cause she's not lying. She's telling the honest truth.

This is the most dysfunctional family

I've ever been a part of, to be quite honest.

But it's a cliquey family, and you can catch onto the cliques

real fast.

That's an honest statement.

STAR: But at the end of the day, Jeff,

I can also say there's family that I don't like.

So, respectfully, there are big, happy families,

and you don't have to like your Grandma T.T.

or your Auntie Nicole.

Everybody knows the middle child gets no love.

But that doesn't mean that they're not still your family.

- SAI: Uh-huh. - STAR: So with that being said,

all you can hope for is that you don't snuff the torch.

I just want to say, my middle brother got love.

- I love my middle brother. - (laughing)

Is this a dysfunctional group?

Do you agree with Sai?

I would say they were kind of looking at,

"Who's gonna come to me,

who's gonna trust me to come approach me?"

I was like, "I don't know.

"I'm gonna go talk to all the people

and see what they have to say."

But maybe I'm doing it wrong. This is my first one.

I've never been here before.

I'm scared. This place is crazy.

But, like, everyone's coming at this in a different way,

and I'm looking at it in my own way.

PROBST: Kyle,

what's your vote based on tonight?

KYLE: Yeah, I think, everybody keeps on

throwing the term "family" around.

When I look at family members,

when I think about people that I'm close to, it's like,

when I'm in a bind, can I call on that person?

This entire group has not been to Tribal together.

We don't know who's reliable and who's not.

And that's hard because when you think about a family,

you want to talk to everybody.

But in this game, you can't be the person

reaching out and giving lifelines all the time

because it might put a target on your back.
