[Marry me, my evil lord]

[Episode 6; A View in the Bathroom]

Ghost!

Help! Help!

Protect His Majesty!

Protect His Majesty!

Your Majesty, I died miserably.

You must avenge my death.

You are...

Consort Chen.

Dear.

Your Majesty.

Dear, Chen Bao, the person who forced you to die has been executed.

What more grievances do you have?

Chen Bao was just a puppet.

The real murderer is someone else.

Who?

It's him.

You...

He ordered Chen Bao to kill me

in order to create chaos in the court

and seize the opportunity to usurp power!

How dare you!

How dare you slander my father!

Xiu'er, be careful.

His Majesty won't believe this person appearing out of nowhere

and her deceitful words.

Dear.

Even if what you said is true,

there is no evidence.

How can I...

You, fickle and foolish man.

You'd rather believe in treacherous officials

than me.

God will punish you.

Hahaha.

Get her!

Xiu'er.

While they are

all enjoying life with His Majesty in the hall,

let me feed mosquitoes alone in this yard.

That's too much.

Who's there!

Where is he?

Is that a human or a ghost?

Catch him!

This spice smells unique.

It should be homemade spice.

Jianchuan, track the trace of this spice.

Yes.

The female thief is so skilled at flying.

What's the smell?

Is it poisonous?

My lord.

Isn't this Mei Shiqi's home?

You wait here.

What are you doing?

Put on your clothes first.

Get out.

I can't leave.

What if you destroy the evidence after I leave?

Evidence? What evidence?

Can I turn around and talk?

Go ahead.

Why are you sniffing my clothes, you pervert?

His Majesty was attacked.

Your clothing is the evidence.

I followed the female ghost's scent here.

You tell me if this is my business.

I'm warning you one last time.

Get out right now.

People are more likely to tell the truth when they're embarrassed.

This is the basic interrogation technique in the Investigation Bureau.

Explain to me now.

What's your relationship with that female ghost?

I'll talk to you

when I'm dressed properly.

Leng Moyan!

Oh no. The lord is in danger.

Yes.

He will send us signals when he is in danger.

You...

Wait and see.

Don't run away, if you dare.

My lord,

why didn't we arrest Mei Shiqi?

When she returned to the banquet hall from the backyard,

the female ghost in white was already committing the crime.

Mei Shiqi had no time to commit the crime.

So the smell should have been left on her

accidentally

when she was in contact with the female ghost.

All the more reason to arrest her and ask her about it.

His Majesty asked us to investigate the case

to counterbalance the factions of power.

What can we do if she refuses to tell us?

Even so,

we don't have to hide.

My lord, what happened when you were in her house?

Just a little...

Are you bored?

Go out and check.

Yes.

Tighten the defense within the residence.

When that woman goes crazy,

it's really scary.

She's rude, tough, and fierce.

She doesn't look like a woman at all.

This is new.

There is someone of whom Mr. Leng is afraid...

What are you murmuring about?

Nothing. I'll strengthen the defense.

and won't let her in.

You two

didn't even hide.

How dare you disrespect me?

Mei Shiqi. This is the Investigation Bureau.

Show your respect.

I like to do whatever I want.

Tie me up if you dare.

Come on.

Tie me up!

Untie me!

No.

Leng Moyan.

Come here and untie me.

Promise you won't cause any trouble,

and I'll untie you right away.

No way.

I want the entire capital

to see your true face.

My true face?

Do I look good?

How about getting flogged 30 times?

Out.

Still looking?

What true face?

You are a shameless and lewd pervert.

You peeped at me in the name of investigation...

Enough.

About what happened today,

I was being rude.

I'm sorry.

If you want to tell anyone,

I'm willing to take the heat.

My lord, the Secret Guards Department is here for her.

That soon?

The Secret Guards Department is so imposing!

You're barging in armed like that.

You don't respect our bureau at all.

Cut the crap. Why was Shiqi arrested?

It's a life at stake.

Let her go now.

It was Mei Shiqi who barged into the Bureau

and caused us trouble.

How dare you come here and ask us to release her?

If you keep doing this,

I'll arrest all of you!

Shisan!

Put it down.

Put it down.

Put it down.

I just had a little misunderstanding with Miss Mei Shiqi.

It's fine now since we can talk it out.

OK.

Let's clarify this right now.

Shiqi, just tell us the whole story.

No matter how arrogant and overbearing

the Investigation Bureau is,

we're not pushovers.

I'll back you, no matter what.

Thank you, Shisan.

Here's the thing.

I was on duty at Prince Jing's Mansion

and fought with the female thief who ambushed His Majesty.

Mr. Leng came to me

because he wanted us to work together.

Then why did you fight him with your life

and almost destroy your house?

That's...

That's because...

Because...

-Because... -Because...

Because...

Because we were recreating the scene

of what happened between her and the female thief.

So we can know from whom she learned.

Ah, right.

That female thief is cunning.

We need more time

to find the source.

Since it's a misunderstanding,

we apologize for the disturbance.

Goodbye.

Wait.

Is there anything else, Mr. Leng?

I can let bygones be bygones.

You can leave.

But she must stay.

Why?

Because we have something important to discuss.

You interrupted us just now, right?

I remember now.

Shisan, you can go back first.

When I'm done with Mr. Leng,

I'll meet you at the department.

Are your eyes cramping?

I've been busy lately.

I'm having an intermittent stroke

in my eyes.

Goodbye.

Go back.

Go back first.

I won't work with someone like you.

Don't even think about it.

Are you sure you won't tell us anything?

Very sure.

His Majesty has ordered

whoever catches the female thief first

will be rewarded.

So what?

Not only can he get a promotion and a salary raise,

but he can also ask His Majesty for a good marriage.

If you're not interested,

I'll ask Shisan.

But let's make a deal first.

If we catch the thief, we'll be able to catch the thief. We'll be able to catch the thief. We'll be able to catch the thief. We'll be able to catch the thief. Okay.

I'll take the first credit.

Your bureau has to take the second.

Fine, you can take the credit.

But I saw the compensation.

What did you see?

-I saw… -You didn’t see anything!

It's a deal.

At that time...

This is what happened.

This girl must be something

since she could get away with the Imperial Guards,

the Investigation Bureau,

and the guards of Princess Jing's Mansion.

The boss that Chen Bao mentioned didn't show up.

If he wants to disturb the court,

he won't let it go easily.

Our top priority is to find the mastermind.

So, you mean she's in cahoots with Chen Bao?

I'm not sure.

Since the female ghost has escaped,

she won't appear for a while.

What should we do?

The scent of the sachet on the female ghost

is quite distinct from regular spices.

If we can find the rogue shop that makes the sachet,

we can definitely find clues.

You seemed very skilled

when you sniffed my clothes.

Looks like you've been in contact with a lot of girls.

That's right. There are girls I know well

in the top four imperial music offices

and 58 brothels in the capital.

What? Are you jealous?

In your dream.

I'll send someone to investigate the source of the spices.

But there's only one piece of clothing.

Rude.

Barbarian.

This clothing has been touched

by some despicable man anyway.

I can't wear it anymore.

Gosh.

Seems like you can't wear this one either.

Leng Moyan, you...
