was going on, isn't that right?

That was the idea.

Because if she knew what he was
doing, the plan wouldn't work.

alive, and then lied about it.

There's no clever twist
to the plot.

It's just the messy,
ugly truth.

Mr. Gorton has appealed to what
he calls reasonable doubt.

But reasonable doubt
is not any doubt.

the gift of common sense.

woman he claimed he loved,
