here is one single clip that puts on
full display exactly who JD Vance is so
but Victor Orban in particular as you
know I mean he he rewrote the
Constitution he neutered the courts he
tried to control the media these are not
necessarily conservative principles so
why would you want to mimic him well
look I'm not endorsing every single
thing that Victor Orban has ever done I
don't know everything he's ever done
what I do think is on the University on
the University principle the idea that
taxpayers should have some influence in
how their money is spent at these univ
ities it's a totally reasonable thing
and I do think that he's made some smart
decisions there that we could we could
learn from the United States okay Victor
Orban is the autocratic prime minister
of Hungary he has turned that country
into the first non-democracy in the
European Union and here the guy who has
chosen to be One Heartbeat Away from the
potential next president is advocating
for making the United States more like
Hungary so I guess at this point the
choice is clear do you want America to
stay America or do you want America to
feel a little more like what orbon
proudly calls an illiberal state
