Original subtitles

Previously on Australian Survivor...

Everybody, drop your buffs.

..tribe swap threw the game into turmoil...

This got real, fast.

..while the Champions, three strong girls, stayed close...

Absolutely chuffed that Pia, Abbey and myself,

we're all still together.

..David and Luke were stranded with seven ex-Contenders.

I've lost my entire alliance.

I can't even put into words how bad this is.

And the Contenders' power couple, Shaun and Daisy...

My lifeline out here is Shaun.

..found themselves on opposite tribes.

At the immunity challenge...

Focus.

..Janine and Abbey...

You're doing really well, guys.

..proved their worth to the new Contenders tribe.

Contenders win immunity, sending the Champions to tribal council.

At camp...

Two Champions against seven Contenders.

..super fan Andy was ready to play.

It's time to take aim.

And David and Luke were in the firing line.

I'm here to win Survivor.

But...

..when he let Shaun's secret out of the bag...

Shaun told Andy this in confidence,

so I'm feeling pretty pissed off right now.

..Daisy, along with John and Baden, flipped to the other side.

Seems to me like the Contenders tribe has imploded.

And at tribal council...

Contenders are a tight-knit bunch.

..they pulled off a blindside...

Strap in.

Sam.

..that rocked the tribe to its core.

And David and Luke rose again.

I'm back on top again.

17 are left.

Who will be going home tonight?

I kind of feel like I've gone from the Hilton to a backpackers.

The beach at the Contenders camp

is a little bit different.

Like, it's pretty bad.

It's pretty bad.

Yeah, I know, but you make the most of it.

Yeah.

It was a new, fresh design, if you like.

- No mozzies. - Yeah.

It's nice to have a little different location, though.

I actually like the look of the camp.

Kill me now.

- Thank you. - You're welcome.

- It's so good. - Yeah.

Just the wind.

Dropping the buffs and moving into the new tribe,

I'm in a better position.

I have five old Champions,

Simon, Pia, Abbey, myself and Roscoe,

compared to the Contenders, who have got Matt, Harry,

the horse,

also known as Shaun, and Cassie.

- Casey. Casey. - Far out, J.

Every time you say Cassie I'm gonna think of a punishment.

- I know, you should. - You actually should.

Cassie. Casey.

I can't get her name right.

Despite the fact that we're wearing pink around our necks

and calling ourselves Contenders,

you know, it is a Champion-strong tribe.

So for us to stay in the Champions strong, the original Champions

have to have the hard conversations to make decisions going forward.

Hey, who would we eat on this tribe? We haven't even talked about that.

Who would we eat?

We were gonna eat Luke at the other tribe.

Yeah, Harry.

Yeah.

We could eat him tonight.

So, this tribe swap has definitely put me in a worse position.

But I do have a plan.

I don't like to brag too much but I am a big fan of this game.

I am here to have fun, I'm here to be a scallywag,

I'm here to mess with people's heads.

But more than that, I want to win.

I work four jobs.

I'm not only an ice-cream maker, I'm also a cook and a dietitian,

and nothing that I have is given to me.

I need to win this game if I want to better the life of my family.

Me and my girlfriend Jordan, we've been together five years now.

She really is my other half

and I do want to propose to her sooner rather than later,

so that I can set up our future, can set up our life.

I want to get married, I want to settle down, I want a family.

The half a million dollars that comes with winning would mean

a fresh start for us and a future for us.

So, my goal is to take the Champions down and win this game.

Initially I'm just gonna try and get all cosy with the Champions

until I feel like the time is right.

Because if I can survive this, then it means I'm very, very well primed

for the end of the game, because on the Champions tribe,

the old Contenders clearly have the numbers advantage

over the old Champions.

It was something like seven to two.

It's a no-brainer that you send one of them home.

So I'm assuming Luke or David went home last night.

Oh, like, it makes...

You don't have to marry them.

Aahhh!

We're going liquids, brother.

So I wake up on day 17 and I'm feeling grand.

I was completely outnumbered by old Contenders coming into this tribe

and I thought it was gonna be more difficult to get numbers,

but Daisy wanted to get rid of Sam.

She goes home

and now the new tribe is eating right out of the palm of my hand.

Not that, like, I was unhappy,

but it's nice being able to talk to some new people.

Oh, yeah.

After the Sammy vote, I now have a majority in the tribe.

I've got Daisy and John, Baden and Luke,

and on the other side of that is Sarah, Hannah, Andy,

and that's it.

Yeww!

This tribe has been flipped so fast, their heads are spinning

and I'm on top of the game, baby.

Is that the rotation, mate?

Old stuff onto the roof?

Yeah, that's what I've been doing anyway.

Just so it's not totally wasted.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

At this point you definitely start to notice people

coming and talking to you.

After the Sammy vote, people's gears are turning and they're like,

wait, how did that hap...?

Ohhhh.

I see.

I better go have a chat with Dave.

So you know... I was trying to...

..trying to...

- Flip it around? - Well...

No, I know.

You were trying to get it off me and Lukey, I know.

Well, off you specifically.

Hmm.

And I was worried that you could go home and that's why I went

and spoke to John to say "switch your vote",

because he was meant to vote for you.

Just to doubly make sure that you couldn't go home.

- Good looking out now. Appreciate it. - Yeah.

Andy is all over me now.

He got completely left out of that vote

and he just thinks I'm a tub of ice-cream and he wants to chow down.

He cannot get enough of me.

Yeah. So I was doing my best to...

..to look out for you.

Hmm.

To be honest, I don't want anything to do with him.

He thinks he's the king and he wants to play the game,

but Andy has no game.

100% true.

I'm sorry, my brother, but I'm running the show.

I've gone from the bottom to the top again

and cream always rises to the top.

I am surprised and angry

that this great tribe that we had

has flipped so quickly.

I'm really annoyed.

Really, really annoyed.

Because Daisy has flipped on the Contenders for her own gain

and it's thrown everything on its head.

Yes.

I want to have a chat with Hannah

because I wanted to start playing a big move because we felt vulnerable.

We want to get rid of Daisy because she's calling the shots

and she's the biggest threat.

Andy's working with us, so we just need Baden on board as well.

Would Baden be up for it?

Yes.

I don't know if I trust him fully, but...

..he'd be up for it.

The others would be absolutely livid.

- But we've got the numbers... - But it's also a great move.

She would not be expecting it at all.

She's never considered that she might be going.

It's a ballsy move.

I think people definitely underestimate me.

If this works, we could take it all the way to merge.

Well, it could unless those other two flipped on us.

If they decide to switch on us, we are out next.

Yeah.

I've built a cleaning company from the ground up.

It's made me tough, it's made me who I am.

It's time to bring my fighting spirit into this game.

It will be our one opportunity to turn it all on its head.

Come on in, guys.

- What the hell? - Oh, my goodness.

Contenders getting their first look at the new Champions tribe.

Sam voted out at the last tribal council.

Wow. Oh, no way.

We're playing now.

Janine.

Are you surprised they voted out Sam?

Yeah, shocked. She's clearly one of the stronger women.

Yeah, no, really, really shocked.

Harry, why do you think they voted her out?

I'm trying to work it out at the moment, to be honest.

She was supposedly with the numbers.

She was a strong competitor.

It doesn't make a whole heap of sense to me.

David, what was the vibe like back at camp after tribal?

It was good. I think the guys are pretty excited to, like,

actually start playing the game.

There was a bit of confusion from some people

but everyone was actually pretty stoked to get into tribal and, like,

actually get their hands dirty.

John.

Champions have a tradition of winning rewards.

Is that gonna continue today?

Oh, mate, I'm hungry.

So if there is food on the line, yeah, we'll be working hard for it.

Well, Matt, the Contenders have a tradition of not winning rewards.

Is that gonna continue?

That's the old Contenders.

We pretty much went out and upgraded our team,

so I'm feeling very confident today.

So you guys are supercharged?

Yeah, we're feeling real good.

Alright, you guys ready to get to today's reward challenge?

Yes.

For today's challenge, one member from each tribe

will swim in a fast moving river,

fighting against the current to stay in a marked zone.

Last person in the zone scores a point for their tribe.

First tribe to score 3 points wins reward.

- Want to know what you're playing for? - Yeah!

Winning tribe will get an afternoon...

..at Cafe Survivor.

Where you will enjoy croissants, doughnuts...

Doughnuts!

..sausage rolls...

Of course, no cafe is complete without coffee.

Ohh!

Worth playing for?

- Yeah! - Oh, hell yes.

Oh, my God, yep.

Contenders, you have an extra player. You're gonna need to sit someone out.

Cannot be the same person in back-to-back challenges.

Who's it gonna be?

Coffee on the line. I'm sitting out.

OK. Pia, you're on the bench.

Everyone else, a minute to strategise.

Let's get it on.

Where's Susie when you need her, huh?

Alright.

Here we go.

Contenders, you guys are picking first.

Who do you want to put up?

Matt.

Champs...

I reckon you, Lukey.

Lukey.

Ohh.

We've seen this one play out before.

What's it gonna be today?

- Grudge match. - Oh, this'll be good.

Luke is a good swimmer.

- Come on, Lukey. - Come on, Lukey.

Oh, this will be fun.

Alright, you guys want to get in?

Wow. That is fast.

Alright, here we go. For reward.

Survivors ready?

Go!

- That's it, Lukey. Good pace! - Yes, Matty!

Yes, Matty! Yes, Matty!

That full moon has made the current very strong.

Luke is already starting to struggle.

Starting to fall behind.

Keep working, Lukey!

Matt so far has not moved.

- Yes, keep going, Matty! - Stay strong, Matty!

Luke is being swept away.

This current is so strong.

Keep kicking, man. Kick!

Tribe trying to encourage him.

- Kick those legs, mate. - Kick those legs, Lukey!

But he's getting close to the end of the zone.

Yeah, he's almost done, Matty.

Nearly there, mate.

Keep going, Matt.

Come on, Lukey! Go now!

Go now, Luke!

- Just give it up, Lukey. - Lukey, give it up, mate.

Luke's crossed the line, and that is it.

Contenders score the first point.

- Well done! - All good, Lukey.

Contenders lead 1-zip.

- What am I not good at?! - This is getting ridiculous.

- I can swim! - Natural-born athlete all day.

Not modest, though.

If you were as good as me, you wouldn't be modest either.

Contenders, who are you putting up next?

I'll go.

Rosco.

Alright, Champs.

- Baden. - Baden.

Ah.

Nice.

Next round, we have Baden for the Champions,

taking on Rosco for the Contenders.

Looks like a dad and his son going out.

Out for the afternoon.

Contenders lead 1-zip.

Survivors ready?

- Go, Baden. - Go!

Go, Rosco! Go, Ross!

Yeah! Whoo!

Well done, Baden!

Good pace.

Ross has a nice, easy stroke.

Both holding position.

Ross is no stranger to the water.

But Baden is not giving up!

He's giving Ross a run for his money.

- You can make it, mate! - You can make it!

Just need to outlast your opponent.

Whoa! But the current is trying to get hold of him.

He's going, Ross! He's going.

Just work hard, Bades.

Kick, Baden! Kick, kick, kick!

Baden, really struggling now.

Trying to dig deep.

- Come on, let's go. - Keep going, Rosco!

- Hang in there. 10 seconds. - 10 seconds.

Getting very close.

Come on, Baden!

Go, Baden! Go! Go! Go!

And that's it.

Contenders take the next point.

Contenders lead 2-zip.

You don't need coffee, Baden...

You've got it, J, just swim hard.

That's it, Andy, get comfortable. Find your spot.

Alright, we have Janine for the Contenders

taking on Andy for the Champions.

- Come on, Andy. - Come on, Janine.

Contenders lead, they could win it right here.

Survivors ready?

Go!

This is our first boy-girl match-up.

Janine's looking very easy in the water.

Go, Janine!

Atta, girl. Keep going.

Good pace.

Andy is doing everything he can to keep up.

Good pace!

Just hold there!

But the current is just too much.

Ooh, that's tough, Andy!

Looks like the Contenders have it in the bag.

Come on, Andy.

Janine's starting to tire now.

Good pace, Andy!

Come back, Janine. Go!

Andy, inching his way back.

She's starting to tire, Andy. That's it!

It's getting very close.

That's it, Andy!

Yeah, she's going. She's gone right by you, Andy!

Janine's still fighting that current.

Has a grip on her, pulling her back.

That's it, Andy! Good pace!

Yeah, Andy!

Hold that pace, Andy! Don't slow down. She's gone.

Janine's in trouble.

And she's out.

Yes! Andy, you did it!

And the Champions are on the board.

Contenders still lead 2-1.

Top effort, man.

OK, next round.

We have Abbey for the Contenders...

Smell that coffee, Abs.

..taking on Daisy for the Champions.

That's it, Daisy!

Contenders lead.

- You've got it, Abbey. - They could win it right here.

Champions need to win it to stay in this challenge.

Survivors ready?

Go!

Daisy drifts out to the right.

Abbey drifts out to the left.

Keep that form, Daisy!

Daisy has a nice stroke, meanwhile...

..Abbey looks like she's expending a lot of energy.

Beautiful, Daisy!

Daisy just needs to hold her position.

Abbey, you're ahead of her!

Daisy, drifting into Abbey's lane.

Watch out, Daisy!

Oh, both girls getting tangled up now.

We have a collision.

Daisy, go hard!

Daisy, trying to recover.

Abbey, really struggling.

Go hard!

Abbey...

..gets a mouthful of water.

This is it, Abbey, go!

Go! Go, Abbey!

She alright?

Go hard, hard!

She's trying to backstroke, she's trying to hold in.

She can't quite do it.

That's it!

Alright, we are tied 2-2.

Amazing!

You bloody legend.

No, don't apologise. Don't be silly.

We have Hannah for the Champions...

Carn, Hannah!

..taking on Casey for the Contenders.

Come on, Casey, you can do this. You're a good swimmer.

Alright, final round.

Survivors ready? Go!

That's it, Hannah, very good!

Old tribemates going head to head.

Casey is all over the place.

Look out! Look out to the side.

Go, Hannah! Go, Hannah!

She drifts in front of Hannah, disturbing her stroke.

Stay strong!

Hannah, trying to hold her position.

Come on!

Tribe trying to really encourage her.

- Come on! - Last hope...

Come on, Hannah!

..this challenge...

That's it.

Contenders win reward!

Hard work out there.

Contenders, the reward is yours. Congratulations.

They can have rewards, hey?

They can have rewards, you guys know what's up.

Mate, you got a reward too now.

- Me? - Yeah, round your shoulder.

Mm-hm.

I've upgraded. Shaun, bye-bye.

I have Dave now.

Contenders, head on out, enjoy your afternoon at the cafe.

Champions, got nothing for ya.

Swim it out, head back to camp.

See you, Jonathan.

I can't believe the old Contenders voted out Sam.

Seeing that she'd gone today was just horrifying.

I'm basically completely on the outs.

And it's got me worried but... I need to form a new plan.

I have to just rise up on my own.

It feels amazing to finally win a reward challenge.

Not only do you get fed,

but as a bonding experience for a team, it's awesome.

It was great.

I'm a savoury girl, so there were sausage rolls

and cheesymites and quiches.

We haven't won a reward before, so it's awesome.

It's great to have something to eat other than rice.

Guys, there's jam there if you want.

I'd heard that there were rewards on Survivor,

but I wasn't actually sure that they occurred.

I thought you were just miserable all the time

and then did some challenges.

I'll show you.

- Yeah. - Coffee!

Everyone was frothing on the sausage rolls and doughnuts

and all that crap.

I just went straight to the coffee, went...

Cheers.

So, I had three to four coffees in a row. Just chugged them.

No.

After 17 days of no caffeine...

..I was... ..it was just too much,

and I was just on fire.

And then I had a cupcake and a chocolate eclair.

I felt sick. I just overdid it.

Ran my race too early and... bluh!

What's he doing?

Is he gonna spew?

- No! - I'm ready for more.

Roscoe had a spew.

You know, so, it was just what you do, really,

on a normal afternoon at a cafe.

Oh, soy milk.

I'm at this reward, and you're enjoying all the sweets,

and my mind keeps straying

because it's pretty hard to believe a Contender went home last night

on the Champions tribe.

They have the majority.

The fact that Sammy is gone,

the very first tribal after the split,

it's just... insane.

Like, I don't even know what to say to that.

- Sam. - I don't think so.

So, what does this mean for your alliance?

- Yeah, I'm not happy. - Yeah.

I'm actually genuinely surprised, but...

Because it's another cross against their strength.

Mm.

And our boys would have just gone

with whoever wants to play with them.

I need to get back in control of my game

and need to form a new plan.

Janine seems like the most smart strategic player

and I think if I go to her, maybe she would work with that.

Overall? No, definitely.

Mm. Yeah. No, definitely.

Janine's a smart woman,

and smart people you can sometimes trust.

But honestly I still have to make at least one conversation happen

to save my own butt.

The old Champions have stonewalled me.

They're not talking to me.

So, I'm not ignoring the writing on the wall.

I need to step up my game. I need to make something work.

Oh, my God, this is like heaven.

Right now, with Sam gone, Casey is now my number one.

It's pretty much essential at this point that I trust in Casey

because myself and Casey are absolutely on the bottom.

We're not offering the strength that Shaun and Matt have,

and on top of that we're both probably

strategically more dangerous.

So, everything is sort of pointing towards us as number one targets.

I definitely trust Casey.

Hey, there you go.

That was a perfect one.

Harry thinks that I'm looking out for him,

but right now we're essentially sitting ducks.

So, I'm very happy to play both sides of the field.

I think that Janine, Abbey and Pia,

they're definitely leading the pack.

So if I don't buddy up with them, then I'm out.

If I want any chance of controlling the votes going forwards

I need to get back in control of my game.

I need strength on my side.

I basically need to find a hidden immunity idol as soon as possible.

There's a real craft with finding an idol.

When you're at home, it's really easy.

You're just like, "Oh, the idol is right there.

"It's so obvious. Why don't you see it?"

But without a clue, it's really hard.

So I need to sort of utilise all my skills to find it.

If I do, it could potentially save both of us.

Yeah.

I'm trying to make sure that the ladies in the tribe

can see that they could potentially take me a lot further in the game.

Oh, my God.

"Congratulations. You have found a hidden immunity idol.

"This immunity idol can keep you safe

"from being voted out of the camp at tribal."

I cried maybe a little bit

because not only could this save me in this game,

but I'm a huge Survivor fan,

and just finding this is such an accomplishment.

And I'm just so happy to have this in my hands.

It's no-one else's, it's mine.

This is like a dream. This is...

The fact that we're down 5-4 and to have this

means that it can actually save us,

like, it could save all of us.

I thought, like, it's me, it's me gone,

and now, like, I'm staying in this game.

Oh, my God, I want to scream, but I can't.

Now that I have a hidden immunity idol,

my next move is booting one of these old Champions out of our tribe.

I can gain control of this game again.

So, honestly, going into this immunity challenge,

things can go any way.

It doesn't matter. I'm pretty happy.

Come on in, guys!

Matt...

..how was your afternoon at the cafe?

Our afternoon was fantastic.

I'm pretty dangerous on most challenge days

but after three chocolate eclairs, I'm feeling...

..at my best today.

All sugared up?

I think Ross had about seven coffees so he hasn't slept

but he's ready to perform today.

I could see you like dancing around there, ready to go.

Yeah, there's a lot of energy that I didn't know I had in me.

Wow.

Luke, if these guys can win a reward,

can the Champions finally win immunity?

Ah, yeah, I think we can.

We all ate a big feed of fish last night.

So I feel like we're all set to go today.

And take ya out!

Abbey, what would you say to that?

Oh, that's just Luke, isn't it? He's...

He's the lovable larrikin over on the Champ's tribe.

And the best thing for me yesterday was the Savoury Favourites

and the sausage rolls, Cheesymite scrolls, quiches.

Not to mention some of the sugary sweets that we had, Lukey.

But I think we've got you covered today.

Did I mention we had fish?

You guys ready to get to today's immunity challenge?

Yes.

First things first...

Once again, immunity is back up for grabs.

For today's challenge,

two members of your tribe will each lay in underground chambers.

The rest of the tribe will race to fill buckets with water...

..that you'll carry across a balance beam

and then pour into the other tribe's chambers

until the people inside are flushed out.

Last person left in the chamber wins immunity for their tribe.

Losing tribe, you know the drill,

you're gonna join me at tribal council

where somebody will be voted out.

Contenders, you've got an extra player,

you're gonna need to sit someone out.

Cannot be the same person in back-to-back challenges.

- Who's it gonna be? - Who's out?

Well, I'm terrible at balance.

- Well, you go out? - Better out.

You're out. Harry's out.

Harry, you're on the bench.

Everyone else, a minute to strategise. Let's get to it.

If we're gonna win immunity, we need people to carry the buckets

and actually handle them whilst balancing.

That's all I'm saying. Yeah. I think...

To be fair, the blokes need to be in this to do it.

Yeah, need to be the runners.

We'll be better able to manage...

The two people in there are just gonna be breathing.

I can run and run and run and run.

I'm a beast when it comes to running.

And I'm not a fan of that, lying under the bridge.

I'm not a fan, but if I have to, I will.

Obviously, once the water gets above that thing...

I feel our strongest team is the runners

and the ones who can carry the weight.

Yep.

Alright, in the chambers for the Contenders, we have Pia and Casey.

And for the Champions, we have Hannah and Sarah.

For immunity, Survivors ready?

Go!

Let's go, guys!

Everybody racing down to scoop up a bucket of water.

You go, Lukey. You go, brother.

Now you need to get that bucket across this crazy balance beam

without spilling it.

If you fall off, you gotta go back to the start of the beam.

That beam is all about managing speed and spills.

You wanna fill your opponents' chambers faster than they fill yours.

Both tribes neck and neck at this stage.

Luke gets there first for the Champions.

Starts working on Pia's chamber.

Matt, first back for the Contenders.

Come on, Matt!

I'm coming! Trust me.

Coming all day, Hannah!

Starts working on Hannah's chamber.

Keep it coming, Matt!

Each chamber takes about a hundred buckets of water.

That's a lot of trips.

Ross, struggling a little bit.

- You're gonna have to go back. - Oh, you're kidding me.

Oh, so close, Ross! So close!

I had it.

David starts working on Casey's chamber.

What's the strategy here?

You try and flood out one chamber and then go for the other one?

Or do you work on both at the same time?

How's everyone doing in there?

- Good, Jonathan. - Freezing!

Pia, you're cold?

I'm so cold.

No, it's like a warm bath in here.

Casey's warm.

I'm nice. It's like a little condo in here. Life's good.

- You're enjoying it? - Yes.

What about you, Sarah? Can I get you anything?

- Nah, I'm good, man. Thanks. - That's good.

'Cause the only thing that's coming is water.

Everyone working away.

Matt, just pounding through it.

That doughnut came in handy today.

You better believe it.

- Ross, you hanging in there? - Slowly.

Whoa!

Steady!

Good stuff, Ross! Just keep pushing.

Ooh.

Baden slips off the beam, drops his entire bucket.

Take your time, Baden.

Sorry, guys.

Oh, Ross almost goes over.

Saves himself.

That's it, Ross! Just keep going.

Champions, putting all their effort on Pia right now.

Come on, Champions!

Contenders have a different strategy,

they're filling up both chambers at the same time.

Ooh, that water.

It's nice! It's nice.

Will this strategy pay off?

That's it, Ross. Just keep going.

Water quickly rising in Pia's chamber.

As the water rises, so does your anxiety level.

Keep at it!

Pia, in the zone.

Trying to push through that cold.

This is mind over matter here.

Alright, go left. Go left. Go left.

It takes a while to drain.

Champions working on Casey's chamber now.

- How you doing over there, Casey? - Yeah, I'm good.

Hannah's chamber, really starting to fill up now.

Keep going, guys.

Sarah's is starting to get there.

Oh, you bastard.

If you don't like water...

..or confined spaces,

this is not the challenge for you.

Come on, Andy!

Water in Pia's chamber is almost at the window.

Every fibre in your body is gonna tell you

to get out from under that window.

Water has finally hit Pia's window.

It's now up, over her eyes.

Won't be long before it starts encroaching on her nose.

Come on, guys!

Rest on the beam. Rest when you're walking.

One more on the right.

That primal instinct to protect your airway is very strong.

How do you push past that primal...

..desire... to survive?

Pia, hanging in there for the Contenders.

The Champions are relentless,

they just keep pouring water into her chamber.

Come on, Andy!

Really claustrophobic now.

How much can you take on before you panic?

Water has now reached Hannah's window.

You're doing amazing, Hannah! Stay strong.

Who's gonna be the first to drop out?

Is it gonna be Hannah or Pia?

Water's getting very close to Hannah's nose.

She looks very calm.

Pia's still hanging in there.

Water is really starting to cover Hannah's nose now.

She's trying to blow it out.

Who can hold their breath the longest?

And that's it! Finally, Hannah pulls out.

Oh, yay, Hannah's out!

- Casey's happy about that. - Whoo!

Huge effort from Hannah.

Pia's out.

We're down to one each.

Ah!

Casey for the Contenders and Sarah for the Champions.

We're working for ya, Sarah!

We're with ya!

Champions dig in deep. They need to push hard to save Sarah.

Sarah, you're gone!

Hang tight, Sarah!

You're amazing, Sarah!

Really working on Casey's chamber.

Go, Andy!

Trying to catch up.

Now it's about what you've got left in the tank.

Someone is going home tonight.

Stay strong, Casey, it's nearly there.

- That's it, Casey. - Keep pushing! Come on, Contenders.

Come on, guys.

It's all gonna hinge on Casey and Sarah to keep their tribes...

So close!

..out of tribal council.

Keep going!

- Two buckets, she's done. Come on! - Two buckets, guys! Come on!

Run, Baden! Run, Luke!

Water has finally reached Sarah's window.

How much longer can she hold in?

Come on, Luke!

Every part of your body now is saying get out from under that barrier.

Champions, trying to pick up the pace.

Sarah, really trying to hold in...

She pushes out from the window but she still stays under.

Can the Champions catch up?

No! That is it.

Contenders win immunity, sending Champions back to tribal council.

Come on, Casey. Come out. Come out.

I love my team!

Contenders, congratulations.

Immunity is yours, again.

You guys are safe, no-one going home.

Grab your gear, head on out. Enjoy the evening off.

Well done, guys. See ya tomorrow.

Champions, same old story for you guys,

tribal council tonight

where one of you will become the eighth person voted out of this game.

Grab your gear, head on out. I'll see you tonight.

Bye, Jonathan.

I don't mind going to tribal council.

Me and Dave both have idols.

They need to try to come together and get rid of us

but I don't see it happening.

Let's get this game on!

- OK. - Wow.

We all, like, put in a monster effort, but.

Yeah, everyone did.

And I honestly don't think changing anything with what we did

would have won it.

Do you know what I mean?

We put in our best effort, though, which is all we can do.

- That was intense today. - It was.

There are eight players left in this tribe,

John and Daisy, who are tight, are in with Luke and David,

to form basically a core four at the top.

Baden's then kind of attached to that.

He certainly voted with them last tribal.

That then leaves myself, Sarah and Hannah

as clearly potentially vulnerable tonight.

So, I have to get back inside the numbers.

Dave and I speak a similar language.

He's a super-intelligent guy, for a model,

and I am terrifyingly smart myself.

So, I am starting to think of Dave as maybe my closest ally out here.

No, I'm kind of... I'm looking forward to this.

Me too, dude. Me too.

I think we can have some fun in this game, especially come merge.

I mean, you know, we've both got contacts.

I've got pretty broad contacts, depending on who ends up over there, so...

Yeah.

I just feel like we could have some interesting options.

Yeah, we're gonna... It's gonna be awesome.

It's gonna be awesome.

Andy is really obvious about his lies.

Cutting the head off the snake is super-important

but only if the snake is dangerous.

If the snake is harmless, you know, leave him intact.

- But we're not gonna stray, right? - No.

So, I call everyone in to tell them what the vote is,

Baden, uh, Daisy, John, Luke and Andy.

Let's get tight for a second while we work it out.

"Yep, that's what I was thinkin' too.

"That's a great idea. Let's do that."

I was already thinking that exact thing. The Sarah thing?

Yeah. Actually, it pains me to say it.

Dave definitely took charge and pointed out the pros and cons

of voting out Sarah.

And, uh, I guess we all sort of agreed, categorically,

that it was the right vote to make.

Sarah is, like, she demonstrated that there's stuff she won't do.

And I'm sorry, Sarah, but you're playing Survivor

and if there's stuff you won't do,

you're going home.

Has anyone spoken to you yet?

Well, the guys are sort of keeping me out of it a little bit.

- Like last time. - Who are the guys?

- So... - Like John, Daisy...

Yeah, Daisy and John and then the other two boys.

I think we've got to topple this empire somehow

or we're gonna get picked off, one by one.

I know. I know.

- So, who..? - I realised that last vote.

Hannah and I were sort of thinking...

As I say, we're just all gonna get picked off, one by one.

This is my chance to flip the game.

I've got Hannah and Andy on board to get Daisy out.

If it works, it will be spectacular.

I feel evil.

I'm walking back into camp...

Yeah, but is that the name that Hannah's...?

Like, she's putting Luke's name down?

..and, um, I hear Andy,

who was lying right next to Daisy...

_

What?!

- The girls. - Yeah, since when?

What the ***? Why has my name been put in the mix?

Huh?

I am ropeable. Ropeable.

Where did...? Did she walk that way?

Yeah, she walked off that way.

He is just willing to just put us under the bus, just like that.

All good, Sarah?

- No? - No.

- Not at all. - What?

'Cause Andy has just told Daisy...

..that Hannah and I are putting her name down.

I need to get Andy out now because I can't trust him.

- Andy's just told Daisy...? - Daisy.

- I just... I just can't... - He's just went and... gone and...

- So, I've come back in... - ..thrown you under the bus.

Yeah, that's exactly what he's done.

Damn.

Yeah, OK. Well... yeah.

He's just been lying right next to her, on the mat, like this...

- Yep. - ..and just told her.

I told Luke and Baden

because if I don't speak up now, I'm gonna be gone.

- Were you in the shelter then? - No.

So, I head over to the well and there's Sarah.

How we going? We all good?

- Um... - Fill me in, my pedigree chum.

So, she turns to me, looks me in the eye, and says...

"Where was your stance tonight?"

Uh... I'm not decided.

"You're voting for me, right?"

Could have been a possibility,

- just for pure honesty's sake. - Yep.

And I said, "Yes, I'm voting for you."

And she's like, "Oh... OK."

What are you guys thinking? What's happened? Fill me in.

Andy just spilt the beans to Daisy...

..about us voting her out.

- Okay. - Goodbye, Andy.

- He didn't realise I was there. - I'll be the one to square up.

Andy's put a huge target on his back.

He's like the Steve Bradbury of the Contender tribe.

He just keeps walking into landmines.

He's, like, actually planting them

and then forgetting where he's putting them

and being like, "Ka-poo!"

Daisy... Daisy's not gonna vote Andy.

- You might be very surprised. - And John won't...

- You might be very surprised. - OK.

Well, he is a big threat.

You might be very, very surprised, Sarah.

- OK. - Float it. Plan it.

I am not going anywhere.

I have got to talk to people, talk to people quickly.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Andy! I know!

Well, I'm inclined to vote Andy now, after that.

Dude, Andy's shitting bricks too.

- Oh, yeah. He's so scared. He's so scared. - He blew up his spot, bro.

Hilarious.

- We're... the five of us are 100% tight on Sarah. - Yeah.

- The vote is Sarah? - Yeah, yeah.

- Totally... totally clear. - No, I know. Yeah.

Me and Luke should be on the chopping block.

Good times.

But I've got the ex-Contenders fighting between themselves,

which is music to my ears.

He's just said it.

That is so funny, mate. This is good times.

I just think we're, like, on another level of the game.

It's like Michael Jordan and LeBron

taking on, like, a couple of high-school kids.

You know what I'm saying?

They just don't even understand game play at all.

We could just go have a long nap,

wake up in seven days and we'd still be there.

Oh, we made merge?

Oh, far out! Yep.

We made merge? Hmm.

So, we're like a seamstress pair right here. Look at that.

- Not bad, huh? - Makin' it work.

And now you've got leg-warmers as well.

Leg-warmers.

Fashion is about making bold choices.

- Yes, good. - You should know.

Does it even fit you?

Ohh! Hello!

You tell me.

It annoys me that it actually looks alright.

- Whose shirt is that? - Nova's.

I'm like the old version.

Uh...

Who looks better, guys?

Who wore it better?

Despite the craziness of the mass confusion today,

I'm feeling comfortable right now.

Sarah is on the chopping block tonight.

Andy's a bit shifty. I just don't trust the dude.

There's gonna be some fireworks tonight at tribal.

Could be Sarah, could be Andy.

But the power's in the same place it's always been,

it's in my hands, me and Luke.

We're running this game. It's a match made in heaven right now.

So, Andy...

..last time you guys were here,

there were quite a few surprised faces after the vote.

Would it be fair to say it was a blindside?

Yeah, it was certainly a blindside for Sammy

and a blindside, I think, for a few other people as well.

For you?

For me, for sure.

David, last time you guys came here,

it was seven old Contenders versus two old Champions.

How the hell did you turn that ship around?

Well, I think we're one new tribe, Jonathan.

I don't think we really look at it like that anymore.

I think we're a tribe of champions now,

so that was just the way the vote went.

So, Sarah, that vote suggested

that some old Contenders betrayed their own.

Is that a fair statement?

Yeah, I think it is a fair statement.

But, you know, Champions and Contenders, that notion,

it's blurred now.

Like Dave said, we are now a new unit

and we're all putting our best foot forward for this tribe.

Are you questioning people's loyalty in this tribe, though?

Part of the game, isn't it, Jonathan?

And, like, I said, it's been blurred, the loyalties.

Daisy, would you agree?

I mean...

..was the loyalty there to start with?

It's like eat or get eaten, isn't it?

Baden, Daisy has a good point.

I mean, this is the game of Survivor.

Um, you have to hit the ground running

and make decisions on the fly and hope they're the right ones.

And put your trust in people that you hope will accept that trust.

So, Hannah, tell me, do you have a list

of who you consider to be trustworthy and untrustworthy?

God, no.

- No? - I haven't...

I mean, I could write it in sand here and it would wash away

and that's about as useful as it is, isn't it?

Sarah, would you agree?

Yeah, I would 100% agree, Jonathan.

Especially when certain people sit on both sides of the fence

or... play on both sides of the field.

What about you, Luke? Are you a good foot soldier tonight?

No way, boy.

- Nah, so... - So you're in charge of the play tonight?

I think we all come to a consensus of how we should... vote. Um...

Went a bit crazy back there for a bit

but I feel like we're all happy and we...

What do you mean, "It got a bit crazy back there?"

Damn, I shouldn't have mentioned...

You know I'm gonna pick up on stuff. Come on.

Yeah, I know. Uh...

I dunno. I think some things got heard mid chat

and it all just went a bit hairy.

Um...

Andy, can you shed any light on the conversation?

Well, if it's the conversation I'm thinking it is...

Yeah, it was a situation where a...

..I guess a private conversation was happening

between a couple of alliance mates.

And then, somebody else who wasn't...

..supposed to be privy to the conversation

walked up behind

and a conversation that was kind of mid-stream had to stop and...

Yeah, things got misinterpreted.

Is that gonna have an impact on tonight's vote?

I... hope it doesn't because...

..I think it was just one of those weird situations that you get into

when you're in a small camp.

OK, I was the one that overheard the conversation.

We're being cryptic. I'll own up to it.

I mean, yeah, I'm owning up.

- It was me. It was me. - Oh, my God, I'm so shocked!

- We're all shocked. - No, I'm shocked.

Um... People were shocked at the time.

Um...

You gave a really long look to Andy then.

Was Andy involved in this?

Yeah.

So who was directing the conversation?

It was my friend Andy.

So, Andy, you were talking out of school? Is that what happened?

Uh... well, it was only out of school

from Sarah's perspective, I think.

So it was a conversation between people who were working together

and... wasn't aware that Sarah had walked up behind us and...

..so... You know, yeah. It was... it was a little awkward.

Sarah, it's clearly ruffled your feathers.

Well, it did! Yeah, it did.

And... things happened pretty quickly from then onwards.

For all of us.

I think every conversation you have

can potentially, like, blow your game up.

John, you're a man who believes that less is best

so how dangerous is it when a conversation gets out?

Mate, could end an alliance.

It could, uh, be the forming of a new alliance.

Is it enough to send someone home?

I think it's gonna be a lesson

to everyone who takes part in these conversations

to... be a little bit more discreet.

Andy, is it a little unsettling to hear that?

Yeah. I...

Absolutely.

I have...

..a low confidence level in my standing in the game at the moment,

just based on the last vote.

So I... try to do everything I can

to ensure that I've built the trust

that I feel I should have with the people I'm playing with and...

..that tonight's vote kind of reflects that rebuilt trust

and ability for the tribe to move forward,

in the way I think we have to.

Sarah, what about for you? What's tonight's vote about?

It's a bit of a privilege to have information in this game.

One has to be really careful, so yeah.

Keep an eye behind your back, if possible. Um...

David, what's the vote about tonight, for you?

Um...

I mean, I think a blindside is the most humane way to put someone down.

Alright, on that note, it is time to vote.

John, you're up.

Alright, it is time to vote. John, you're up.

Don't hold it against me.

That was a crazy afternoon.

I, uh, I'd be fine if they were a little calmer than that in future.

I'll go count the votes.

If anyone has a hidden immunity idol and they wanna play it,

now would be the time to do so.

OK, once the votes are read, the decision is final,

person voted out

will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately.

I'll read the votes.

First vote...

Andy.

Sarah.

That's two votes Andy, one vote Sarah.

Sarah. We're tied.

Two votes Sarah, two votes Andy.

Sarah.

That's three votes Sarah, two votes Andy.

Sarah.

That's four votes Sarah, two votes Andy.

Eighth person voted out of Australian Survivor, Sarah.

That's five votes. That's enough.

You need to bring me your torch.

- See ya. - Bye, Sarah.

Good luck, everybody. You too.

Have fun.

Sarah, the tribe has spoken.

Time for you to go.

Well, blindside may be the most humane way to put someone down

but the real question is, who sitting here is next on the slab?

Grab your torches, head back to camp. Goodnight.

Sunday night, on Australian Survivor,

David's still sitting pretty...

I'm, like, totally in control. It's amazing!

..but is his game about to come back to haunt him?

There's no doubt in my mind that's fake.

What a slime ball.

Dave's now public enemy number one.

Now I've just gotta plot my revenge on him.

Get ready...

First chance to cut his throat in this game, I'm taking it.

..it's payback time.

I'm disappointed, of course.

I felt like I got something together but obviously, I couldn't trust Andy.

It all fell apart. Quickly.

But I've proved that I'm... tough.

You should be proud, you played, obviously, a great game.

Your kids will be proud. It was good knowing ya.

I'm so proud of myself

and I can't wait for my kids to say,

"Mum, you did... you did great.

"Well done. We're proud of you.

"Thanks for not singing or dancing on national TV."
