[Many Years Later]

[Yanle Fortune Teller Ma]

A magical skill from Yong State.

It can tell your...

Good sir and lady.

-Go away. -I can tell your fortune for only two wen.

Bro!

A bad omen is looming over you.

Speak for yourself.

No.

No, I...

Sir, Ma'am.

Let me tell...

Go away.

No, sir, ma'am.

No, this...

I accept donations too!

Sir!

[Sifang Pavilion]

This time, we assisted the Prefecture of Jingzhao

to investigate the smuggling of foreign merchants.

The West Court made a great contribution.

The Ministry of Rites has granted 50 taels of silver

as a reward.

Retainer Ji.

Come forward.

Thank you, Mr. An.

The East Court didn’t receive any reward.

But they did well too.

Let’s applaud them.

Yanle is sending a new delegation to Yong soon.

The Sifang Pavilion is responsible for their reception.

Both the East and West Courts have a chance.

Do your best then.

Yes.

Mr. An.

Ladies!

Shen! Shen!

I'm here, I'm here.

This is our Moonlight Hall's

unprecedented effort to reward customers.

Really? Really?

Look at the color.

What is it?

Smell this fragrance.

Feel its texture.

Let me see.

This is the formula personally

made by Empress Longshuang.

It's the real deal.

Without further ado,

raise your hand if you want it!

Shen! Shen!

All right.

All here.

Ji.

From now on, this house is yours.

Thank you.

Take care.

It's such a happy occasion.

Why don't you buy me a cup of tea?

Forget about tea.

I even have to ration my water now.

I've never seen such a stingy person like you.

What do you know?

My stinginess afforded me this house.

See you.

Honey!

Not bad.

[Yuchi's Mansion]

I don't know...

Eight Bamboos.

Wait a minute.

I can't win.

Draw a tile.

Why did you look for so long if you can't win?

No, well, I wanted Eight Bamboos.

Nine Circles.

Nine Bamboos.

Don't move!

Nine Bamboos pair.

How could you do that?

It's a double too!

Come on.

You might as well take everything.

You...

You're so lucky.

Really.

Duke Er, you're so lucky today.

How many times have you won?

When good news happens to someone,

he has no choice but to win.

What's the good news?

Actually, it's nothing.

My daughter Hua

has been conferred the title of general by Mingwei Prefecture.

Now, every day, she's with Wang Kunwu,

riding a big horse

and patrolling the border with the soldiers.

How awesome.

Awesome.

What did I say?

Like father, like daughter.

Exactly.

Congratulations, Duke Er.

Congratulations.

Oh, it's nothing.

Being a general is not a big deal.

Nonsense, it is.

She's a girl,

but she's out there in the sun and wind all day.

It breaks my heart just thinking about it.

Back then,

I shouldn't have sent her to Yanle.

It's been a year.

I don't know when she'll come back

to see me.

Sometimes I cry at night thinking about it.

Come on, let's keep playing.

Okay.

I'll do it.

Now that you mentioned your daughter,

I'm reminded of something too.

Yuan Mo also sent me a letter.

Really?

What did the letter say?

I get angry just thinking about it.

What's wrong?

Compared to Advisor Yuchi...

No,

General Yuchi, he's not as capable.

Of course.

It's only been a year,

but he's going to be a father soon.

Does that mean Empress Longshuang is pregnant?

That's right.

That's great news!

I'm telling you,

they didn't have to rush into it at such a young age.

Just like that, I'm suddenly becoming a grandfather.

I'm not prepared at all.

Are you serious?

That's wonderful news!

Congratulations!

Thank you.

Congratulations.

You're too nice.

I don't know how it feels to be a grandfather.

It's so sudden...

He's becoming a father...

This...

Let's stop playing. It's too late.

Let's call it a day.

Why are we suddenly stopping?

Duke Er.

We were having a good time.

It's not fun.

Don't. I'm still in the mood.

Besides, you are so lucky today.

Why are you angry all of a sudden?

Let's play two more rounds.

They're expecting a child and you're becoming a grandfather.

It's not fun anymore, I'm going.

No, no, no.

Just kidding.

Just kidding.

Master.

Don't!
