[Divine Destiny]

[Episode 36]

The Deity Sacrifice Formation!

No, Master!

Master!

Master!

Master.

Ruochen.

Master.

From now on, you should

walk your own path carefully.

I can't help you.

Hierarch.

Ruochen,

it'll be your responsibility

to save the world.

Ruochen, stop!

You'll be possessed.

Ruochen.

Yinyin.

Yinyin.

Yinyin.

Yinyin.

Yinyin.

Yinyin.

Even without Ji Ruochen, there's still me.

High Immortal Taiyi.

I won't let you return to the God Realm and harm the mortal world.

You are like a mantis trying to stop a chariot.

Yinyin.

Don't talk.

Don't...

Don't waste your energy.

It's useless.

My demon spirit is gone.

I'm afraid I don't have much time.

No.

Don't talk.

Ruochen.

Yinyin.

Yinyin.

Yinyin, what are you doing?

Yinyin.

Ruochen.

You must defeat High Immortal Taiyi.

If we let him escape today,

the Three Realms will be in misery.

I give you the demon core

and help you.

It's okay.

Stop talking.

Stop talking.

You'll be fine.

Yinyin.

Yinyin.

Yinyin.

Yinyin.

Stop talking.

You'll be fine.

Ruochen.

Silly boy.

Why are you crying?

I don't want any demon core.

You know

I always want you.

I don't want anything else.

Ruochen.

Ruochen.

In this life...

In this life, I have no regrets.

I have no regrets, either.

Ruochen, don't worry.

I will always be with you.

I've tried so hard

and plotted for thousands of years.

I didn't expect...

I didn't expect

my plan would be destroyed by the Demon King and the fox demon.

Ji Ruochen,

I'm sorry for your loss.

She's not dead.

Why are you sorry?

She won't die.

She promised me

to open an inn with me in the desert.

She'll grow flowers

and vegetables with me.

She won't die.

Blue Fire of Nine Hells.

Am I not dead?

Ji Ruochen saved you.

Ruo...

Ruochen.

Ruochen.

Ruochen!

Ruochen. Wake up!

Ruochen!

Ruochen, don't scare me.

Ruochen.

Ruochen!

Ruochen!

Ruochen.

Why?

Why did you do that?

No, Zhang Yinyin.

If you force the Blue Fire of Nine Hells out of your body,

it will damage the demon core.

Lightly, you'll be possessed.

Severely, your meridians will be broken and you'll die.

I'm not afraid of death.

I just want Ruochen to come back to life.

No.

Ji Ruochen just said

if only one of you can live,

he wanted you to be the one.

Why?

Why?

Why, Ruochen?

You knew

the living person will suffer more.

Why?

I have to live alone

with our memories.

Why, Ruochen?

Why did you do this to me?

Wake up!

Ruochen.

Wake up, Ruochen.

Ruochen.

If you keep pressing me like this,

I'll really die.

Ruochen.

Ruochen.

Ruochen.

I'm fine.

Don't cry.

Finally, everything is over.

Now the Three Realms are finally peaceful.

We can also take those Zhenren

back to the Xixuan Mountains.

After we depart this time,

I don't know when we can meet again.

Qing and I were obsessed with deity fate.

We thought a hundred lifetime deity fate is the righteous and universal love.

But fate made a fool of us.

When it came to the hundredth lifetime,

we got it wrong.

Although the mortal fate is short,

you truly love each other.

One glance lasts ten thousand years.

Although the deity fate is long,

it's just a mirage.

Since you have mortal fate, you don't need deity fate.

Ruochen, Yinyin.

I wish you happiness.

Banished god, your thought is precious.

I’m happy

to receive your blessings.

I believe Qing

will also bless you.

Returning to the mortal world,

with mortal fate accompanying with us,

it's a lucky thing in life.

Yinyin and I have to rush back to the Xixuan Mountains.

Yinfeng.

Take care.

Take care.

Great Heavenly Demon.

Don’t.

Boundary Patroller. Congratulations on becoming a deity again.

So

you are the Great Heavenly Demon then.

Yes.

I came here today

to apologize to you.

Back then, my Heavenly Demon clan

originally lived in an endless barren world.

High Immortal Taiyi destroyed our land,

built the Spirit Mirror Tower there

and trapped me in the Deity Prison.

To go to the mortal world to find the Blue Fire of Nine Hells

and to find a way to kill High Immortal Taiyi,

I had to get the Bluestone God to remove for me

the Purifying Immortal Chain.

That's why I was able to go to the Mortal Realm.

But unexpectedly, I got you two involved

and put you into the mortal world.

Looks like this calamity was destined.

Although we won today,

we still need to thank you two

when it comes to the root cause.

I heard that you're returning to the God Realm.

So I came to see you off.

Who said I will return to the God Realm?

Well...

The God Realm is no different from the mortal world.

It's also full of greed and obsession.

I won't be able to comprehend the Heavenly Path there.

But that barren land

can train you to be so powerful.

I think it must be different.

Congratulations, Boundary Patroller.

You finally got the Tao.

[Hierarch Ziwei's Memorial Tablet]

[Ziyang Zhenren's Memorial Tablet]

[Ziyun Zhenren's Memorial Tablet]

The Hierarch and all Zhenren have been buried.

It's a relief for everyone.

After burning incense for Master and all of the Zhenren,

Shi Ji and I should go back to Yun Zhong Ju.

It's a big deal for the Zhenren to return.

We won't keep you here.

See you.

See you.

Junior Ruochen, from now on,

it will be your responsibility

to rejuvenate Xixuan Sect.

Don't let us down.

I'm a mortal now.

How can I bear such a heavy task?

Besides,

shouldn't the Hierarch be responsible for

rejuvenating Xixuan Sect?

How could it be my responsibility?

You...

You won't be the Hierarch?

When did I say I want to be the Hierarch?

Senior Bingxian told me that

Master Ziyang left a secret scroll

when he left.

It should be written in the secret scroll

that who will be the next Hierarch.

In this scroll,

there's the name of our next Hierarch.

When the time is right,

open it.

-But, we also want to... -Enough.

This battle is different.

With your cultivation,

you can't help even if you go there.

Stay on the mountains

to protect Xixuan.

Senior Bingxian.

Would you like to open it

and see who it is?

[Ji Bingxian]

Why did Ziyang Master choose me?

Senior Ji is brave and resourceful.

When she led us to go down the mountains to stop Sun Guo,

she was also resourceful and decisive.

She is indeed the best candidate for Hierarch.

Yes.

Senior Bingxian, you are much more suitable than me.

I'm more suitable

to open an inn in the desert

and live freely,

without anyone restricting me.

Honey, what do you think?

What else can I say

since you say so?

I can only follow you.

Do you have the final say on this?

Father, Mother.

Silly kid.

Even if you want to leave,

you have to bring the dowry your mother gave you.

The dowry?

Bring it in.

Put it down.

Your mother has prepared it for you long ago.

Other than tacky precious metal,

there's also your mother's embroidered work.

The blankets, pillows...

She even secretly made

several bellybands, cotton hat and cotton clothes

for future grandchildren.

For both boys and girls.

Your mother stayed up late to embroider.

She cries while embroidering.

Shut up!

Who said I cry while embroidering?

Okay.

Mother.

Father-in-law, Mother-in-law.

Don't worry.

I will take good care of Yinyin.

Alright, get up.

-Get up. -Get up.

I'm not blaming you.

I'm not mad at you.

If I was really mad at you,

I wouldn't have prepared so many dowries for you.

You

are just a little heartless girl.

When you were in the land of Nine Hells,

without sufficient conditions,

you got married in a hurry without parental orders

and the matchmaker's words.

I don't blame you.

But you're back now.

You should

respectfully offer me and your father tea.

Yes, Mother-in-law.

To be honest, I wanted to

offer you tea and call you Mother a long time ago.

But Yinyin

refused to admit me.

That's why I didn't change my way of addressing you.

Why are you blaming me?

Am I not right?

Ms. Huang is right.

Not only you need to kowtow and serve tea,

we should also have

wedding chamber antics.

Yes, Hierarch.

We'll prepare the wedding chamber

for you two.

OK, Honey?

Sure, Honey.

We'll return to Yun Zhong Ju after we finish

-the wedding cahmber antics. -Okay.

Ming Xin, Ming Yun, juniors.

Let's prepare the wedding chamber for the bride and groom.

Are you serious?

Let's go.

Father, Mother.

Won't you restrain them?

Well, we'll restrain them.

I said you're stupid, but you don't admit it.

Teach me, Senior.

You think by yourself.

Wait for me, Senior.

Senior, wait for me!

No.

Teach me which is medicine and which is grass.

Take your time and learn.

Why are you afraid of seeing people?

Xuanzhen.

You protected the mountains and Xixuan Sect several times.

You are a true disciple of Xixuan Sect.

There's nothing shameful.

Xuanzhen.

You don't have to hide at the back mountain.

Since I'm a new generation of Faceless Man,

I should stay here.

But...

There is both sunshine

and darkness on Xixuan Mountains.

Hierarch, you don’t need to persuade me anymore.

If you have any dirty work to do,

you can come find me

at the back mountain.

Are you really willing

to stay here forever?

Being able to protect the Xixuan Mountains

and you

in this way,

I'm already satisfied in this life.

Xuanzhen.

See you.

♫With my sword, I face the world, breaking through the swirling sand♫

♫How many high positions were obtained through deceit and trickery♫

♫Amidst the shifting sands, who will emerge as the winner in the end?♫

♫Amidst the chaos and distractions, who can truly let go?♫

Greetings, Hierarch.

♫Not for leaving a mark in history or the glimmer of swords♫

♫The turbulent times change in an instant♫

♫It's all because of you and me, braving obstacles♫

♫I traverse the currents of time to be with you again♫

♫I cross endless hills, vowing to stay true to our promises♫

♫The sun and moon witness the eternal enmity and grievances♫

♫I only wish to hold your hand and be by your side♫

♫As long as I have you by my side, what more could I ask for in this lifetime?♫

Be careful.

Ruochen, what's wrong?

Nothing.

I just think

we'll be able to see Zhang and Huaniang soon.

How did you know?

How did I know?

Of course I can smell it from my nose.

Are you a dog?

Do you dare to make a bet with me?

Fine, I'll bet.

Anyway, if you win,

I'll make you kneel for four hours less.

Kneel for four hours?

Why is that?

You kept the destruction of the Demon Tower a secret from me.

I haven't even settled the score with you.

According to the family rules,

you have to kneel for at least three days and nights.

When did our family have this rule?

I said so.

Fine, whatever you say.

See?

That is the inn.

Four hours.

Let's go.

Let's hurry.

I'm back.

Huaniang.

Zhang.

Senior Bingxian became the Hierarch of Xixuan Sect.

She protects Xixuan Sect with Xuanzhen

who lives in seclusion in the back mountain.

Come on, let dad hug you.

Senior Qiushui and Shi Ji

have a harmonious relationship.

The gave birth to two kids in three years.

It's enviable.

Do you want some?

Young Master and Yinyin opened an inn

as promised.

My uncle often went to ask for wine.

Come on.

More.

More.

Bottoms up.

Come on.

Come on. Bottoms up.

Come on.

Don't mention it.

In the past,

once we opened an inn,

we would burn it down in a while.

Then we found a new place and opened another one.

It was suffering to keep hiding.

Look at now.

It's good.

We can finally

do business in peace.

But look, the business is not as good as before.

Look at this barren place.

You are a money-grubber.

Learn from me. Look how carefree I am.

Stop bragging.

If you're really carefree,

you should pay for the drinks you owe me.

Right.

He's afraid of his wife finding out when he drinks.

He's a coward who sneaks and drinks in secret.

-How dare he talk about being carefree here? -That’s right.

Here, Mother.

Come on.

Cheers.

Cheers.

By the way, Mr. Ji,

how is Qingyi recently?

After that battle,

Qingyi finally realized the Tao.

She transformed into a snake again and is cultivating the Tao.

Now is the most critical time

of her cultivation.

She's been meditating these days.

Qingyi.

It’s been a while.

You've grown up.

Continue your cultivation then.

We'll drink.

Yinyin.

Mr. Ji has been here for a long time.

Why aren't you coming out?

Yinyin, come out.

The dishes are cold.

Daddy is here.

Baby, look who's here.

Are you awake?

Greetings, Mr. Ji.

Don't be polite. It's important to coax the baby.

Good baby.

He looks like her mother.

He has big eyes.

Nonsense. Of course he looks like me.

What are you talking about?

Let me hug him.

You're afraid of your wife.

Same to you.

We're both in the same boat.

Come on, let's drink.

Come on.

Come on.

Drink.

Come on.

Bottoms up.

Don't drink too much. You're afraid of your wife, too.

It's okay.

Bottoms up.

Come on. Cheers.

It's okay.

Come on.

Don't feed him wine.

Let's drink.

Boss.

Get me some food and a room.

I need to hit the road tomorrow morning.

Sir, where are you going?

The majestic Xixuan.

Come on, let's drink.

Come on.

[Ji Chang Inn]

He'll go to Xixuan.

Come on. Don't be polite.

Come, join us.
