[Divine Destiny]

[Episode 6]

I've told you everything

about the advantages and disadvantages.

If you get it,

just listen to me

and accept this immortal fate.

No, I won't accept it.

I won't marry anyone

except Yinyin.

If Xixuan Sect is gone,

do you think

Zhang Yinyin, the eldest disciple of Taixuan Palace,

will be spared?

Don't hate me.

It's not up to you

to choose

between mortal fate and immortal fate.

Go back to Taichang Palace. You're grounded.

Master.

Go.

Does Ruochen know

you want to fight me?

This is between you and me.

It has nothing to do with him.

Why does it have nothing to do with him?

You asked me here

for him,

didn't you?

Let's make this clear.

Whoever loses

needs to quit.

I'm afraid you thought too much, Fairy Gu.

I asked you here

only to prove one thing.

In terms of family background,

I'm not as good as you,

but in terms of fighting,

you are not as good as me.

Zhang Yinyin,

the marriage between me and Ruochen

was destined centuries ago.

It won't change no matter what.

Why can't you let it go?

I have to tell you

Ji Ruochen is already mine.

He said it. I believe him.

That’s it.

Gu Qing, bring it on.

Zhang Yinyin, I don’t want to hurt you.

Stop pretending to be kind.

You can't defeat me.

You're shooting yourself in the foot.

Give up.

I won't give up.

Forget it.

I won't give up.

I will never give up!

Never.

I knew you would come to me.

I'm not here for revenge.

Not for revenge,

but for love?

So,

you've fallen in love with that guy?

I know you’re a nine-tailed heavenly fox.

I heard that the heavenly fox's sorcery

is comparable with a god's magic.

Can you teach me?

What did I say?

In the end,

you still want to transform into a demon.

It's all because the Huanyao Root you planted in me

hinders me from becoming a god.

If I can't defeat her,

it'll be more painful for me than death.

I can teach you,

but do you dare to learn?

Why not?

You've already had Huanyao Root in your body.

As long as you learn the secret sorcery of the heavenly fox,

you will become a great demon sooner or later.

By then,

you will be despised and not tolerated

by the world.

You'll also be hunted

by those so-called righteous sects.

Now,

do you still want to learn the sorcery?

Do you still want me to take you as my disciple?

As long as I can defeat Gu Qing

and protect Xixuan,

I don't care if I'll turn into a demon or not.

I want to learn sorcery

from you.

You're a tough girl.

If you can come up to me,

I'll take you as my disciple.

Give up.

I won't give up.

Good.

You're brave.

Greetings, Master.

Rise.

Since I've taken you as my disciple,

I will teach you sorcery,

but remember,

if a woman

falls in love with a man,

she'll lose.

She'll lose completely

and can never win.

This is the news Xu Zekai

brought from Haofang.

The demonic energy in the sky above Haofang is getting stronger.

It's a sign

that the darkest demon will be born.

Let alone the Bamboo Snake

will bring a disaster to the world,

more importantly,

the Shenzheou Energy Map it has

is a rare treasure.

It will cause conflicts among all sects.

If it falls into the hands of the evil,

I'm afraid...

No wonder I heard that some of the sects

went down the mountains secretly.

So they were all going to Haofang.

Senior, the appearance of the treasure is not a small thing.

We Xixuan Sect can't be left behind.

Master.

Masters.

Master.

Ji Ruochen is outside the hall. He wants to see you.

Let him in.

Yes.

Greetings, Master.

Masters.

Ruochen, you're grounded.

Why are you here?

Master,

I heard

there is a sign of the birth of a demon in Haofang,

so I came here to ask for your permission.

I want to go to Haofang

to kill the demon.

No.

Anyone can go

except you.

Absolutely not.

Why not, Master?

I'm from the mortal world.

I can take this opportunity to go back and improve myself.

Isn't that good?

Your identity as a doomed banished god

has been found out by all sects.

You've become an eyesore to them.

If you go down the mountains,

they'll attack you in group.

Your path of eliminating demons

will be harder than anyone else's.

Master,

since you said so,

I should definitely go back.

I need to prove to them

the strength of me as a new banished god.

In this way, I can repay you

and bring glory to Xixuan Sect.

Isn't that good?

Senior, in my opinion,

this day will come sooner or later.

Why don't we take this opportunity

to prove to everyone?

Ruochen must be able to take this responsibility

given his current ability.

In my opinion,

we'd better listen to him

and let him go.

If no one

has any objections,

please let me

set out for Haofang.

Fine.

After Ruochen successfully gets back,

let's find a good date

to complete his wedding with Fairy Gu Qing.

Let's make it a big celebration then.

Ruochen,

there's no time to waste for eliminating the demon.

Go down the mountains now.

Thank you, Master.

Why isn't he coming out?

Right.

Why isn't he coming out?

I don't know.

You finally came out.

Have all masters allowed you to go to Haofang?

Of course.

How could I come out if they haven't agreed?

Have you made up your mind?

It'll be extremely dangerous

for you to eliminate the demon in Haofang.

Whatever.

I can't think that much.

If I don't leave now,

they'll send me and Gu Qing to the wedding room immediately.

How's Yinyin doing

when I wasn't there these days?

-Well... -What? Tell me.

Tell me.

Actually,

we haven't seen Yinyin

for a few days.

For a few days?

Mistress.

What brings you here?

Master ordered me

to go down the mountains to kill demons.

I'm leaving now.

Can I see Yinyin?

Just go for your thing.

Yinyin said she doesn't want to see you.

She must have misunderstood me.

Let me see her.

Please.

Ruochen.

You know Yinyin.

Since you are engaged to Gu Qing,

don't make Yinyin

sad anymore.

She has a strong personality.

Although she doesn't say it,

she must be very sad.

Mistress.

Ji Ruochen.

If you continue to pester Yinyin,

don't blame me for being rude to you.

Go away.

Ruochen.

The Wuya boundary has opened.

It's time to go.

Yinyin, don't worry.

I won't marry Gu Qing.

Honey.

There you go.

I wonder

where Yinyin has been these days

and whether the demon poison started working.

[Taixuan Palace]

I hope

God can bless our daughter

to be safe.

Yinyin,

I'll be back soon.

When do you think

Ruochen will come back?

It's only been two days

and you can't stand it anymore?

Ruochen

is somewhere else,

and Yinyin has locked herself in her room.

Now there are only the two of us

in this yard.

It feels rather quiet and lonely here.

Who is it?

Who's there?

Come out!

Come out now!

Yinyin.

Yinyin.

Yinyin.

Yinyin, it's really you.

You freaked us out.

Right, Yinyin.

Is it really you?

Of course it's me. Who else can it be?

Seriously.

Your outfit...

This fabric.

This braid.

Yinyin,

did you invite

a great makeup artist

to our home?

Why are you dressed up so well?

Ruochen is really lucky.

Lucky for what?

Nothing.

Nothing.

Where is he?

Is he hiding from me?

You tell her.

Yinyin.

Ruochen is not here.

He has gone down the mountains and left for Hanfang to kill a demon.

Haofang?

Kill a demon?

Father.

Yinyin.

Yinyin.

I'm glad that you're back.

That's good.

Your mother and I were very worried about you.

It’s good that you’re back, Yinyin.

Yinyin.

Where have you been these days?

I... I...

Did you go to the Peace Hall?

Mother.

How did you know?

You're giving off such a strong evil and foxy aura.

You can fool others,

but you can't fool your parents.

Did that demon Su He

trick you to go there?

I went there voluntarily.

You kid.

Were you crazy?

Why did you learn sorcery?

Don't you know that your father and I

have been worried about you

because of the Huanyao Root?

How could you learn sorcery

without telling us?

What sorcery has bewitched you?

Yinyin, tell us.

What happened?

Sorry, Mother, Father.

Sorry for disappointing you.

I knew I couldn't become a god

because of the Huanyao Root.

That's why I had to learn sorcery.

That's the only way for me to compete with Gu Qing.

I don't want to give Ruochen to her

only because she is a banished god.

I can't accept it.

Father, Mother.

Please.

Let me go to Haofang.

No matter what happens,

I don't want to be separated from Ruochen.

My silly girl.

Yinyin.

Their immortal fate is destined. It's hard to change.

You're like a moth to a flame.

Mother, Father, please.

Get up.

No way!

Impossible.

From now on,

you stay in Taixuan Palace

and reflect on yourself.

Don't go anywhere.

Honey, don't be angry.

Mother.

Honey.

Didn't you hear what your mother said?

Honey, don't be angry.

Don't be angry.

Alright.

Yinyin.

Yinyin.

-Yinyin. -Yinyin.

Yinyin.

Yinyin.

Hurry up.

Be careful.

Be careful.

I'm going to light some soothing incense.

Yinyin, how are you?

Mother, are you alright?

I'm okay.

My throat...

My throat is burning.

It's almost cracking up.

I'll get you some water.

Wait.

Sorry.

Father, Mother.

Yinyin.

Yinyin.

It's so cold.

Can I get closer to the fire to warm up?

Master.

Greetings, Master.

Ruochen.

Are you afraid of

going down the mountains to eliminate the demon?

Master.

It'll be a lie if I tell you I'm not afraid.

Do you know why

I took you back to the mountains back then?

Of course it was because of my identity as a banished god

and also because I'm the one who deserves the tribulation in the sect.

Do you know

why there's a tribulation for our sect?

No, I have no idea.

Please tell me.

The peace of the Three Realms

was originally maintained by the Chaotic Energy.

Thousands of years ago,

the Chaotic Energy came to the mortal world.

The Nine Hells Demon took the chance to make trouble.

According to the fate,

most sects have the trouble to be killed.

This time, the birth of the demon in Haofang

is a sign that tens of thousands of disasters

are coming closer to the mortal world.

Master.

Is this demon from the Nine Hells?

Exactly.

This demon is coming to slaughter the mortal world,

but the treasure, Shenzhou Energy Map,

this monster has

is key to Xixuan's existence

and the fate of the world.

You're a banished god in my sect.

No matter what,

you must bring this treasure back to Xixuan Mountains.

I won't let you down.

Don't worry, Master.

This ring is called Xuanxin.

It can make things out of nothing.

It's like a mustard seed that contains Sumeru.

It can accomodate all treasures and magic tools in the world.

Today, I give it to you.

I hope it can help you succeed.

Look, what's in the sky?

What monster is this?

Check this out.

What's in the sky?

What monster is it?

What is it?

Recently,

there have been frequent anomalies in Haofang.

Yesterday in the west of the city,

there was a monster in the clouds.

It hurt innocent people.

I've decided

to invite you

to hold an assembly to eliminate demons.

What do you think?

The Bamboo Snake is about to be born.

It's spreading the evil energy everywhere and disturbing people's lives.

Your Highness,

you're preparing the assembly to eliminate demons for the safety of people.

Your benevolence is admirable.

We will cooperate accordingly.

Your Highness, we're flattered.

We two brothers

will be there on time.

That's right.

Your Highness, we're at your service.

I agree with what they said.

Good.

I'm relieved then.

Mr. Xu,

what do you think?

Xixuan Sect is the biggest sect of cultivating immortality.

We're responsible to take care of the world.

It's our duty to eliminate demons,

but I'm afraid I'm too inexperienced to take the responsibility.

Fortunately, Hierarch Ziwei

sent his disciple

to kill the Bamboo Snake.

When he arrives in Haofang,

he will participate in the assembly.

I heard that Hierarch Ziwei

took in his last disciple

who's a banished god

in an inn outside the city three years ago.

Are you talking about this person?

Yes.

A banished god?

Mr. Xu, may I ask

if this banished god

wears a spirit stone that contains divine energy?

Yes,

that's true.

Xichen.

Xichen.

What's wrong?

Your Highness, I'm not feeling well,

so I...

I'll take my leave.

Xichen.

Are you feeling better?

Your Highness,

you must help me.

What's wrong?

Your Highness.

I had a cousin

named Luo Feng.

He was a banished god.

He was destined to become a god.

However,

he was murdered by someone

outside the city.

That murderer

not only killed him

but also took his spirit stone

and faked him.

Now, he's even got into Xixuan Sect

as a banished god.

If I'm right,

this person

must be the last disciple of Ziwei,

Ji Ruochen.

Please help revenge my cousin.

What are you doing?

-Rise. -Your Highness, if you don’t help me,

I'll never rise.

Listen to me.

I will do anything

for you,

but you have to know

Ji Ruochen is now a disciple of Xixuan Sect.

We really need to

think carefully about it.

What's so difficult about it?

Sun Guo,

do you have a good idea?

To kill someone with a borrowed knife.

Where is the knife?

A secret prison in a suburb of Haofang.

Do you mean

Great Ancestor?

Xixuan Sect helped the court arrest Great Ancestor.

I'm willing to

persuade Great Ancestor on your behalf

to kill Ji Ruochen.

No, no.

Great Ancestor is evil and sinful.

If we release him,

there will be endless trouble.

I can't afford it.

Your Highness.

Didn't you say

you would do anything for me?

Your Highness.

All right.

Stop crying.

I'll listen to you.

Suo Guo, please do as you said.

Yes.

All right.

Sir,

do you want to eat

or stay?

A bowl of Yangchun Noodles, please.

Sure, a bowl of Yangchun Noodles.

Sir, please come in.

Sir, please wait a moment.

Your noodles will be ready soon.

Okay.

Sir, your Yangchun Noodles.

Thank you.

Besides,

here's a pot of warm liquor for you.

It's on the house.

Great.

Thank you.

I'll have a taste.

It tastes good.

I'll have another one.

Sir.

One should be enough.

One should be enough?

You think I can't hold my liquor?

Sir.

Sir.

Sir.

Sir.

It's him. I'll get the Deity Binding Rope.

Gather all the brothers.

Tell them the big fish has taken the bait.

Okay.

The fish has taken the bait.

Send the message. Go.

You...

This paper crane is quite interesting.

Do you have more letters?

Let me send a message too.

What happened? Why is he awake?

That liquor...

Do you want to know?

Why don't you tell me first?

Why did you ambush me here?

I'm telling you.

We are running an underground business.

Can't you stop sullying the underground business?

You don't even know how to do an underground business properly.

You lit the lamp

even before the sky darkens.

Look at the dust on the table.

And the smell of your sleeping potion

was extremely strong.

How many money will you lose

if you do an underground business like this?

Kill him!

You two want to fight

since you can't refute me?

Please spare my life.

Spare my life!

Cut the crap.

Tell me now.

If you don't tell me,

don't blame me for killing you with my Chiying Sword.

I'll tell you.

Young Master.

We are Double-faced Yama from the Black Jade Gang.

You're from the sixteen evil sects?

Yes.

Just because you would pass here

on your way to Haofang,

so we set up an ambush here.

You loser.

If you tell him about

Chief Guardian Great Ancestor sent messages to the sixteen sects

and ordered them to kill Ji Ruochen,

when Chief Guardian gets back,

you’ll be punished.

-Bro, you’ve just said it. -Great Ancestor?

I don't know him.

Why does he want to kill me?

Young Master.

Actually, your identity as a banished god

is no longer a secret.

We're not the only ones who want to kill you.

All sects are lining up to kill you

on the big road.

Coward.

Are you going to tell him

about the beauty trap?

Bro.

Beauty trap?

Do I look like a lecher?

No.

Young Master, we've told you everything we know.

Here's the letter you just mentioned.

I'll give it to you.

Please spare our lives.

Okay.

Thank you.

Thank you.

All the righteous and evil sects are waiting for me on the big road,

so I can’t take the big road.

[Yunlai Inn]

I can only go through mountains to get to Haofang.

[Yun Zhong Ju]

Master.

Anything wrong?

Ji Ruochen

went to Haofang a few days ago.

Haofang?

Master.

I heard that it was because the Bambo Snake is about to be born.

Xixuan Sect must have asked Ji Ruochen to go down the mountains

to subdue the Bamboo Snake

and protect the Three Realms.

I know what Xixuan is up to.

They claim to protect the Three Realms,

but what they really want

is the Shenzhou Energy Map that the Bamboo Snake has.

Master,

are we going to Haofang too?

Why should we go there?

There are countless treasures in Yun Zhong Ju.

How can we compete with those hypocritical sects

for Shenzhou Energy Map?

I'm only worried

that your senior will find out this.

I've already known.

What are you doing?

What else can she do?

She must want to beg you to let her go to Haofang.

Since Ji Ruochen

has left for Haofang to kill the Bamboo Snake,

of course I have to help him.

You...

Do you know what you are talking about?

Master, please.

No way!

I didn't blame you

for messing around in Xixuan Mountains.

How can you push your luck now?

Master, if you don't agree,

I'll kneel forever.

You...

Fine.

If you want to piss me off,

just go.

Master, thank you.

You really want to piss me off?

Master, you're so generous.

You will live a long life.

Since you've agreed,

farewell, Master.

-You... -Master, Junior.

Please take care.

You...

Aren't you coming out?

You knew it.

You've been following me

since I went down Xixuan Mountains.

What do you want?

I just can't bear

to see you get wet in the rain.

If you don't like

the magical barrier I created to protect your body,

please take

this wooden umbrella.

No matter who you are,

stop following me.

Otherwise,

don't blame me for being rude.

Don't worry.

I'll always be here.

I'll always be with you.

Don't be scared.

Don't worry.

No matter how hard the path is,

I will never leave.

Don't be scared.

He's not gone far.

He's in this forest.

Go after him!

Why is there such a strong demon aura?

Not only is she a demon,

but also a picky eater.
