[Cordial Companions]

[Episode 13]

Tell me.

Is it true?

What do you mean?

Stop pretending.

Of course I mean what those two maids said.

It's between us.

It has nothing to do with you.

You...

I can't believe you are not denying it.

Senior,

didn't I explain it to you?

He and I

are just together.

I'm just worried about you.

Did he...

Did he really not bully you?

He is very nice to me.

Nice?

Although he is nice to you,

his kindness to you is not sincere.

He just pretends to be nice to you in front of others.

Be careful not to be fooled by him.

Understand?

Are you done talking, Cousin?

Please go back.

I...

[Zhang's Mansion]

Madam,

Lord Zhang specially prepared this fruit wine for you.

♫Frost, snow, and bright sky are pure in the wind♫

♫Flowers and butterflies come and go, but they don't understand my delicate heart♫

♫That year, we welcomed spring, and snow melted♫

My Lord?

♫I miss your tenderness very much♫

Let me do it myself.

Someone is watching.

♫Begonias become red and we'll meet someday♫

His kindness to you

is not sincere.

♫Fishing alone in the dim moonlight♫

He just pretends to be nice to you in front of others.

♫You don't know that the autumn river flows like a dream♫

♫I only wish I could stay in your eyes♫

♫Walking with you and enjoying the bright moon in the clear sky♫

♫The night is yet young and the lanterns are warm like the sun♫

♫Thousands of miles of mountains and rivers are tender and gentle♫

♫I waited until my love was ripe like a fruit on the branch♫

♫Walking with you and enjoying every morning and every night♫

Cheers.

♫Singing to the moon and missing you on the bamboo mat♫

♫Embroidering spring scenery and your eyes♫

♫Flowers are blooming again and have always been in my dreams♫

What's wrong?

Nothing.

Really?

It's true that we're just pretending to be a couple.

Lin Wanqing,

why are you so fussy?

They say wine can make people feel warmer.

Why am I getting colder?

♫Begonias become red and we'll meet someday♫

Are you feeling better now?

♫Fishing alone in the dim moonlight♫

♫You don't know that the autumn river flows like a dream♫

Well,

My Lord,

♫I only wish I could stay in your eyes♫

I'm a little tired.

I'm going to go back.

♫Walking with you and enjoying the bright moon in the clear sky♫

What's wrong with her?

It seems she's been strange

since the daytime.

♫The night is yet young and the lanterns are warm like the sun♫

Could it be because of what Liang Weiping said?

If so,

♫Thousands of miles of mountains and rivers are tender and gentle♫

that means she...

Senior Liang.

Look at you.

You are handsome

and gorgeous.

There must be many girls pursuing you.

Not at all.

When I passed by Zhang's Mansion today,

I heard the maids said

what a good man.

Cousin Liang is a good man.

Not at all.

Not at all.

I envy you so much.

By the way,

you've been missing for so long.

Where have you been?

I feel ashamed to talk about this.

When I was escorting something,

I encountered a gust of wind suddenly.

When I woke up,

I was seriously injured.

Luckily,

a hunter saved me.

After I recovered,

I started to collect money

and embark on my way back to the capital.

So you went to recuperate.

Let me ask you.

What number is this?

Well...

What do you mean?

Just tell me what number this is.

One.

Then... what number is this?

Two.

You're not stupid.

Childish.

[Prince Liang's Mansion]

Your Highness,

Zhou Yipu has arrived in Hongzhou.

I suspect his identity.

Please tell me what to do.

Go.

Find me the portrait of Zhou Yipu.

Yes.

Look carefully.

Is he the same

as the person in Hongzhou?

What's wrong? Is there a problem?

Your Highness,

I have never seen Lord Zhou.

Say it again.

I have never seen Lord Zhou.

Then why are you looking at it if you have never seen him?

Your Highness, you asked me to look at it.

You loser!

Take him away and behead him.

Wait, Your Highness.

Why don't we

ask him to take this painting to Hongzhou as soon as possible?

Zhang Ren...

is such a fool.

He dispatched a loser here.

I'm gonna give you another chance.

Take this painting to Hongzhou as fast as you can.

If you screw it up again,

I'll kill you.

Yes. Yes.

Calm down, Your Highness.

I think something might be wrong.

Zhou Yipu

went to Hongzhou secretly this time.

And he's always tight-lipped.

He's trustworthy.

I think you are a fool too.

Even though he won't leak it,

are you sure his woman won't?

There must be something wrong.

Yes. Yes. Yes.

You're right, Your Highness.

Could it be...

Could it be that the Supreme Court...

Is Wei Wen in charge of the Supreme Court now?

Yes.

Keep an eye on him.

Zhang Ren has been missing for 4 days.

From Hongzhou to the capital,

at top speed,

it takes at most 5 days to make a round trip.

Zhang Ren is buying time.

I think he must have gone to confirm our identities

with Prince Liang.

Does that mean our identities might be exposed tomorrow

at the soonest?

Then what are we waiting for?

Let's run now.
