[Cordial Companions]

[Episode 8]

My Lord,

please forgive me

and pretend that nothing has happened.

Just forget it.

What happened?

Why is he so angry?

[Supreme Court]

Thank you, My Lord,

Lai Luo

and Ye Qing, for saving my life.

I thought I was going to die soon.

I didn't expect that I would still be alive.

It's okay.

As long as you

get along well with Lord Su

from now on, it'll be fine.

My Lord,

if you need anything in the future,

as long as I can do it,

I'll try my best to help you

regardless of the cost.

Currently, I do have something

which I want to ask you to do.

So soon?

My Lord, please say it.

Take her away.

Go.

My Lord.

My Lord, please spare my life.

I was forced to do that.

My child was caught by them.

I had no choice

but to help them do that.

Who is he?

I don't know.

You don't even know

where the pigeon flew to?

They gave me the pigeon.

Only their pigeon knew

where it flew to itself.

How about we

tie a rope around its leg and walk it?

My Lord.

What should we do now?

Are you serious?

Me again?

They said that as long as you die,

I should immediately let off the fireworks as a signal

and then meet them at the intermediary agency in four hours

so as to get the antidote from them.

Okay.

You should meet him as planned.

This time, I'm sure he will personally ask someone to deal with it.

Don't worry.

I will ensure your safety.

I trust you, My Lord.

She did it.

Your Highness.

The letter delivered by the pigeon proves that

Su Moyi has died of poisoning.

Good.

Go remove the clues.

Yes.

I'll send someone to do it now.

Wait.

To make sure that everything is fine,

send Xiao Qi to the Supreme Court to find out about the actual situation.

Send Xiao Ba to the intermediary agency.

Yes.

You must ensure that

he's really dead.

My Lord, it's late at night.

Why are you still up?

My Lord!

Something wrong happened! Help!

Something wrong happened to His Lordship! Help!

Lord Su!

[Wei Wen, Vice President of the Supreme Court]

Why are you dead?

After you passed away,

-what will happen to the Supreme Court? -My Lord.

Lord Wei.

What should we do now?

This is an important matter.

I'll report to His Majesty immediately.

You should deal with his funeral first.

Okay.

My Lord.

That man has left.

My Lord,

your guess is right.

As you expected,

that man was really going to...

My Lord.

I acted well just now, didn't I?

Ye Qing.

Okay.

Wanqing,

just let Lai Luo go with you.

Her martial arts skills are good.

She can protect you.

Thank you, My Lord.

Be careful, My Lord.

My Lord.

I added my Ye's Secret Formula to this potion.

After drinking it,

you'll temporarily lose the vital signs.

[Prince Liang's Mansion]

Your Highness,

Su Moyi is dead.

Good.

Su Moyi,

a stinky and hard stumbling block,

was finally eliminated by us.

Your Highness.

After you got rid of this stumbling block,

your big plan will be successful.

[Wuming Intermediary Agency]

You'll die soon,

but you still want the antidote?

You...

What did you feed me?

This is called

"An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth."

I'd like to let you taste

the unique poison made by the Supreme Court, too.

It is a thousand times better than yours.

Do as we say.

Otherwise...

Tell us

what your name is.

Xiao...

Xiao Ba.

Who are you working for?

If you don't want to die,

just tell us the truth.

Otherwise,

I'll kill you.

I'll die anyway.

I'd better tell them.

It's more important to stay alive.

I'm working for Prince Liang.

Tell us

what your next plan is.

I don't know.

I really don't know anything.

I'm just doing this under his order.

I trust you for now.

As long as you

send news to us secretly every three days,

and tell all that

you know to us,

we'll give you the antidote

so that you can stay alive.

Just think about it carefully.

If you die so young,

what a pity it'll be.
