I'm pretty concerned that we will continue to lose

challenges...unless we get rid of our liabilities.

Phoebe tried to use her idol to rally votes against Andrew.

They're all just circulating around him and

letting him call the shots. He needs to go.

But in the end...

she sided with the old Vavau alliance to get rid of Kat.

The tribe has spoken.

16 are left to battle for half a million dollars

and the title...of "Sole Survivor".

Who will be going home tonight?

Tonight's Tribal Council...couldn't have gone any better.

Kat was on my radar from day one.

could pull the numbers together this afternoon and

blindside me. How stupid, Kat.

The mood's pretty low around Vavau

just because we've lost so many challenges

and we just really need to win something.

I feel everyone wanted something,

needed something, needed a kick up the butt.

Look, I sit on my arse from nine
to five in front of a computer,

I'm not a flexible guy.

as we visualize that tree.

The breathing that might be going onto

the embers in your fire.

That fire that we're gonna use today.

In that challenge.

That we're gonna use to make up with.

We need a strong team in challenges.

And I really thought they could use this to

spark a fire inside of them again.

But, I don't think there were certain people

who were a hundred percent involved.

I want you to keep your...

embers...right beneath your lungs for the day.

I need embers to light the fire.

And, as Jonathan said last night...

"Where's our fire?"

It's all rubbish. Anyone who get their head

lost in the cloud...

tries to imagine trees and things, is kidding themselves.

And as strange as this position might seem right now,

it's actually a very good one for your digestive system.

That's what we all need.

For me, my strategy is very much about laying low...

and being a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Just go along with the flow of this group.

So, for me, I've just gotta bite my tongue...

keep my head down, keep my downward dog up...

and just keep riding this Vavau alliance

all the way and get to the end.

Everyone's thinking chicken.

Everyone's getting it. But, nobody's saying it, but...

No one wants to say it.

At day 24, we have nine tribal members right now,

so we're doing pretty well, in comparison to Vavau.

But, this morning, the mood around camp

isn't amazing, because we've been eating beans

now for two days, so everyone's struggling a little bit.

I don't wanna kill a chicken or anything like that,

- but, like, we need to make sure we get a...
- I don't think anyone can do it.

- Like it...the way Chicken was harmed, you know.

The chicken debate is just non-stop.

I can't believe how many energy

has been put into this chicken debate.

So, we'll just have a convo about the chicken

so we know exactly what we're gonna do.

Saanapu has had a bit of a

ping-pong match when it comes to,

"Do we eat the chickens, do we take
the chickens, do we eat the chickens."

"Are they gonna lay eggs one day,"

"what are we gonna do with the chickens?"

I think that we should kill them.

They are a source of food

which can help people on this tribe

to get further. I don't think anyone here wants

to kill a chicken, but if it means, you know, more energy,

if we keep winning, then...I'm for killing a chicken.

I hate seeing those speak of death...

in that cage. Think it's awful.

So, my opinion would be to let 'em go.

I'm not really why we're in a position where we...

are desperate to kill a chook.

I don't wanna be involved in it. I'm not gonna eat it.

I'm not really sure where the panic's coming from.

One person started that debate on not eating them.

And that one person was Matt.

Back home...I bloody eat plenty of chooks.

And I used to work for a bloody poultry shop,

so I can't really say too much.

Turn up my eyes up a little bit for that sort of stuff, maybe.

He wants to be perceived by others

as being a caring guy.

asTwo days ago, Matt told me

that at one point he had sixty-two kilos of

chicken nuggets in his freezer and no where to store them.

And now...

"Oh, God, we can't kill those"

"chickens, because that's just bad."

Certainly, we've got enough food

for the next twenty-four hours.

And he was able to convince

wishy-washy, upside-down, Sam...

that...he didn't wanna kill them either.

I just think there's too much room

for error here, we're not professional...

chicken-cookers or anything like that.

Good point on the health hazards, as well.

We don't know...what we're essentially doing.

And then that got Lee who the day before...

Lee volunteered to help kill them.

Then it grew to three,

and then it grew to four, five, six.

I don't wanna kill 'em.

Okay, exactly, so you're not at all.

That puts us in the majority.

Yeah, convo ends and-and, correct me if I'm wrong,

- but we're letting them go somewhere else.

We want to let go two huge

sources of protein, just let them into the forest.

I viewed Matt as a threat because

he was able to sway the majority to do

a really, really dumb thing. And that is really scary.

Mainly, because we know that there was some, eh,

rice and bananas left at Aganoa that we thought...

The last time I looked at the survivor menu,

I think it said "No Substitutions".

What about the ocean?

I don't know, someone's been fishing in our oceans

and it's not us. We've got noth...there's nothing around.

This is called Survivor. Which means that you need to survive

You have food sources...you're gonna have to make it work.

Here's how it works.

Each member of your tribe

will be tied together and loaded down with

a six kilogram bag. .

You will then race around an oval course...

attempting to catch the other tribe.

You can drop out any time you want, but if you do,

you gotta hand your bag to another tribe member.

If you catch the tribe in front of you, you win.

If you get caught, you lose. It's a simple as that.

For the tribe that wins, waiting for them back at camp...

will be...

a chocolate feast.

Chocolate of every description. Chocolate cake...
