Nick was sent to Saanapu, taking Tegan with him.

At Tribal Council, we blindsided Nick.

But instead of going home,

he actually tribe-swapped into the Saanapu tribe.

Wow...is all I can say right now.

There was more twists and turns in that
Tribal Council than I could ever see coming.

I'm in a new tribe.

It does seem like these guys are quite a-a unified tribe,

which would mean that me and Sam are quite vulnerable.

At Tribal Council...we...had decided that we would

vote Nick out and...he just didn't see it coming.

We all just sat there and starting calling

ladies in the crowd.

I was feeling really sad that...

but, you know, I decided to put Nick's name down.

But it turns out that he had alliances with everyone.

with me, Angie, Baz, Sue.

The beach is finally dry, which is good.

But, after winning the immunity challenge yesterday,

I haven't felt so euphoric since
I retired over five years ago.

Things are starting to look up with the Aganoa tribe.

We got off to a really rough start

We've started to notch some small wins

and a big win, as well, the other day.

I wanna get the team into

this mentality of-of coming first.

Winning, I believe, is contagious and we're so happy,

it gives you a chance to actually discover the awe

and relax, fish, sleep during the day.

It's just a great feeling and one we don't experience a lot.

From life-support to well-and-truly in the game.

Tribal Council is an extreme rollercoaster.

Having Nick and Tegan no longer in
the Vavau tribe has been wonderful.

Sam and Conner do seem extremely genuine.

I suppose the only downer is that Nick's still in the game.

I don't think anyone has, like ever...

wound me up that much, as a person.

- I would say...
- It was like he could tr-treat people and

do whatever he wants and he-he thought to earn respect.

Vavau...had a double-edged sword.

Nick's not out of the game...

but we get rid of...Nick...and Tegan, two pieces of dead-weight.

And then we received back...

two of Saanapu's strongest members. We were pumped

We went, "Oh, my God, we just received an
awesome Christmas present under the Christmas tree."

We got a very strong team now...

to completely smash these other two tribes.

I've woken up in a brand-new bed. I'm in a new place.

In an entirely...different tribe. I'm in Vavau.

How did this happen?

I was so comfortable back at Saanapu.

I had the best everything. I knew my place,

where I was in the game, I was comfortable where I was.

But, now, I have to start from scratch again.

Not a good position to be at this time in the game.

You just don't what's gonna happen in Survivor.

Taking one person was such a big deal

and taking the other...Oh, my God.

Tribal Council was just crazy last night.

I thought I was going home a hundred percent,

Sam and Conner are on the other tribe now.

Because, eh, we've got new members,

and that just means, you know, I have a fresh new start.

It is what it is. I didn't take it too personally yesterday.

My gameplan at Saanapu

is that tried and true method of old-school survivor...

Nick, on the first day, came to me and he was like,

Before he'd barely even spoken, actually.

we can stick together and watch each other's backs".

And I was like, "Yeah, sweet."

My opinion about Nick is that

he is a snake and he can't be trusted one bit

and I'm really glad I found that out early.

Compared to the beginning of the game,

I feel so much better.

There was a lot of, like, anxiety,

but now I'm a lot more comfortable

and enjoying every moment and trying

to be a part of every moment as best I can.

I-I've swapped and now I'm in Vavau.

And I'm-I'm feeling quite vulnerable.

I mean, I'm feeling great in one aspect,

cause these...I love these people.

These people are amazing people.

I-I've been fortunate to play a lot of team sports

at quite a high level.

I was-I was taking the place of the Wallabys in 1993.

And being part of the Vavau tribe,

I think, is very similar to being
part of a-of a sporting team.

Now that the boys are with us, it's just a matter of...

jelling as a team, I mean.

Two tribe members will race out to a frame in the water

to collect three bags and two bundles of sticks.

Next, two tribe members will use
those sticks to fashion a long pole,

will then use that pole to retrieve a key from behind a gate.

Once you have the key,

use it to open the gate allowing your last

two tribe members to move through to a table...

where they'll have to build a fire...high enough

to burn through a rope...releasing a flag.

First two tribes to release their flag wins immunity...

and are safe from the vote.

where somebody will be the fifth person

voted out this game.

You're gonna have to sit out two,

cannot be the same person in back-to-back challenges.

Which brings me to the tribe swap.

You spent the first twelve days at Saanapu...

building those relationships...

and then Conner comes along and just rips you out of there.

I mean well...what-what'd you think?

I was...caught off-guard something fierce.

What has it done to your game?

Oh, I-I'm starting from scratch, obviously. I...

I've had forty-eight hours to know this crew and...

and not a lot of time to-to build those relationships

which these guys have nurtured over the last twelve days

with one another and...now I'm playing catch-up.

But that's part of the game and...

you know, I think I'm a valuable asset to the team as before.

It's a good point that you make, and it brings me to Conner.

I could see at the last tribal

when you found out that you weren't gonna

go home...there was a huge relief.

- Yeah, yeah, absolutely.

But when you got back to camp...

and you joined these guys...

and you started counting them...

this tribe has been together for so long, that

All you have to do is just try to get to know them better.

I definitely see new opportunities with the swap.

I think it made us a lot more stronger,

eh, cause we weeded out some bad eggs...for one or so.

because of the way they chose to play the game.

And that's a great thing in life,

You just gotta do what's best for the team.

And if someone's let that team down, or

not done their job as part of that team...

then they need to be let go.
