[Wanna Be]

I didn't know you were so filial.

Are you falling for me again?

I'm not as great a son as you think.

He's the only reason that I can carry on.

Put it down.

I have something to tell you.

Sorry.

Sorry for what happened that night.

It may sound cheesy

but it was the alcohol.

You know,

after drinking,

people are easily losing control,

not knowing what they are doing.

But I'm not the kind of person

who takes advantage of newcomers

or even forces them to take a casting couch

only because I'm a senior in this line of work.

After one glass of champagne?

People make mistakes.

Just consider me crazy.

But that wasn't sexual harassment.

Sexual harassment?

Stop with the smile.

I'm serious.

Just take it

as a lesson I gave you.

People kiss sometimes

when they do commercials anyway.

This excuse is barely acceptable.

Jia Fan,

I have apologized.

How about this?

I'll help you prepare for the shooting for Rachel.

And you

forget about anything that happened.

Wipe it off the board.

OK?

Alright, then.

I promise

not to file a lawsuit against you for sexual harassment.

However, you want me to pretend nothing happened?

Impossible.

I have always

had a good memory since young.

I can't help it.

The lobster that you like.

20 minutes will do.

[Episode 12] [The Secret that Cannot be Told]

Is Whim's cover set?

Not yet.

All agencies are keeping an eye on it.

Have you found out about the editor-in-chief?

No.

Whim is keeping it highly confidential.

No info has been leaked.

I assume too many people are trying to take a peep

so the editor-in-chief has to hide away.

It's pretty good though.

No one can do anything.

Fair enough.

How's Rachel's photo shoot going?

Jia Fan...

It's all set.

Yijing is contributing a lot.

Han Yijing?

Perhaps she heard about Ding Chen

and some gossip.

She may think only when Jia Fan nails it in the mission

can the whole thing move to the next page.

She's doing it for the sake of the company.

She's given a lot of thought to it.

Hello, Tina.

It's been a long time.

You Ning.

Dear.

It's really you.

You've gotten prettier.

I can barely recognize you.

Despite your sweet talk,

you didn't even tell me when you came back.

My schedule is full.

I was planning to ask you out

after I finish dealing with the trivial matters.

That's more like it.

Finally, I got you, huh?

Did I interrupt you?

Not at all.

Come on. Take a seat.

Oh, right.

How did you find me?

I went to your office

but they told me you weren't there.

Then I remembered you used to work in a coffee shop

and this place is your usual spot,

so I thought I could try my luck here.

You know me the best.

I have to, you know?

Ever since I came back,

people have never stopped visiting.

And they are my old friends.

I can't shut them out.

They keep coming

and I can't get my hands on my work at all.

That's why I have to hide in here.

No wonder.

It's because of

the first issue, right?

Indeed.

I'm exhausted.

My face is collapsing.

Tina. Here you are.

What is this?

Take a look.

The co-branded bag of Manolo?

How did you get this?

As long as I want something,

I can always get it.

Are you doing this

for the first issue as well?

I can't do anything about it.

I'm just an executive editor.

Honestly, I can only aid the editor-in-chief.

I don't have the final say.

Well,

who is the editor-in-chief?

I know nothing

more than you do.

Tina.

You're thinking too much.

This is your birthday present.

It's almost the 18th,

so I'm giving it to you in advance.

Darling,

you're so sweet.

If that's the case,

I'll happily accept it.

Thank you.

Are you sure?

Gently, gently.

It won't work that way.

Harder.

You're using your position to settle personal scores. Han...

Are you all right?

Is this necessary?

Get up and go on if you're okay.

Ms. Han, are you...?

Careful with your facial expressions.

Don't grimace in pain.

Come on.

Everything is temporary

except for what's captured by the camera,

so it has to be perfect.

Don't look.

Your mask is falling off.

[Honors of Rachel]

This is our featured product,

sunscreen.

To highlight its water resistance and high SPF,

Mr. Zhang and we have agreed

to make skateboarding the theme of this commercial.

Mr. Chen.

We have less than a week now

and I think...

You know,

we will arrange for a stunt double

but to guarantee the visual effect,

he has to learn the basics.

Make time to practice

and figure something out, OK?

Besides the visual effect,

we have to guarantee our model's safety.

Could you

give us more time?

It's not something that can be learned in a week.

Sorry, Ms. Ling.

I don't have time for this.

I have rearranged

any project that can be postponed.

It's just...

Let's stick to the original plan.

I can do it.

Please rest assured.

I'll prepare more than enough for it.

You have my promise.

Don't promise anything that's beyond you.

It'll be much worse if you screw up.

I have some friends who do skateboarding.

A few days ago,

Ms. Han gave me some training.

I can handle it.

Han Yijing?

How did she know?

She said Rachel must have chosen me

to handle either the facial cleanser or sunscreen.

Whichever it is, sports will play a part.

Others are easy.

Skateboarding is the hardest to handle,

so we prepared in advance,

just in case.

Experience is indeed valuable.

She's helped a lot.

Go back to the company

and focus on practicing.

OK.

Hire a coach for him.

From today onward,

clear his schedule

except for the training.

Don't trouble Han Yijing especially.

OK.

You're pushing yourself too hard.

Are you going to quit after this commercial?

Mo.

I thought I was all right at the beginning.

But when the coach was here,

I just crumbled.

The coach is to show you how.

To be frank,

he shows you how to pretend to be like him.

So your priority

is to pretend to be as good,

not to practice the skills for real.

I know.

I want both though.

That's your problem.

Unprofessional.

Commercials are not contests.

Charm is more important than professionalism.

That's why they hire a model to do it.

Time is tight and it's hard to learn.

You must show your worth to the utmost,

which means you have to

make sure every pose looks perfect in the camera.

Remember.

The spotlight is on the product in a commercial.

The people in it are just a tool to highlight it.

So

don't emphasize yourself too much.

Got it.

Thanks, Mo.

Go on then.

Practice.

Straighten up your back.

Open your shoulders.

Arms higher.

Look at yourself in the mirror.

No.

No.

Harder.

Higher.

Stare.

Don't look sideways.

Always remember

to make every move look cool.

Look at this point.

Come on.

Come on.

Mo,

may I ask you something?

Why did you help me?

After all, you...

Because you're a member of the Top Line,

representing ACME.

I used to be in your position.

I was as pushy as you are when I was a newcomer.

I wanted to prove myself so bad

but chances for me were few.

All those seniors were so competitive.

Finally, I got one.

I wanted it so bad

but in the end,

I was afraid that I might offend others.

I was so frustrated

and got caught up in a dilemma.

You know?

Therefore, you shouldn't overthink it.

Don't pretend to be Mr. Nice if you want success.

Be determined and run.

When you leave them behind far enough,

you won't be hearing anything bad from them.

Yeah.

That's why I'm working so hard

and pushing myself to my limit.

I don't want to lose.

Mo,

sorry.

Oh, come on.

Just this once.

I won't say it again.

If you truly feel sorry,

get it done handsomely,

so I won't lose to someone less worthy.

That'll embarrass me more.

You're still here?

I walked by the practice room

and saw a mobile phone there.

I wonder whose phone it is.

It's mine.

No wonder it looks so familiar.

Bye, Mo.

See you tomorrow.

See you.

Oh, right.

How is the boy?

He's okay.

You know what he's like.

He'll bounce back after letting out his emotions.

OK.

Let him reflect on his doings at home.

When Ms. Ling simmers down,

I'll give him a lesson.

Bye.

See you, Mo.

Ms. Han, did you come to pick me up?

Not exactly.

I happened to be here.

Oh, really?

We were destined to meet then.

Cut it out.

You neither answered my calls

nor texted me back.

You didn't have your motorbike with you.

Are you going to walk back home?

It's more than 20 kilometers.

You won't make it home until dawn.

So you came to pick me up.

I was afraid the time I spent on you would be wasted.

Seems like Mr. Xing was easy on you.

You still have the strength to tease me.

You know about that as well?

Did he tell you?

Anything that happens in the company

will be known by all in 24 hours,

no matter big or small.

Well, what happened that night...

Jia Fan.

That's between you and me only.

No one else would know.

Sometimes, I can't help thinking

I must be unbelievably lucky

to have met

Ms. Ling, Mo...

and you.

So I have to do my best

to deserve such luck.

Glad that you know.

If you screw up,

I won't let you off.

Yes, ma'am.

Ms. Ling and Mr. Wu should have arrived long ago.

[08:27]

Yijing.

How long will he need?

It's the morning rush hour.

There is a lot of traffic.

Theoretically, 20 minutes is enough.

Who was the one to send the notice?

He had been out of reach last night,

so I called Xing Mo.

They were together then.

Keep rushing him.

I'll keep Mr. Zhang busy.

OK.

Ms. Ling,

I dragged him here.

We didn't get chosen

Firstly, our presence represents we don't hold grudges

and that we totally understand Rachel's decision,
