Peacock in Wonderland

Episode 28

The autumn wind is soughing.

Lord Li, are you still outside?

Your injury might get worse.

I'm curious.

You're so highly skilled in martial arts.

Who could have hurt you?

Take the medicine.

Have some tea, Mr. Qing Jian.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Please.

Please.

Qing Jian has tried to be friendly to me frequently.

He even knows the Song of Yarn.

Is he really my big brother?

My big brother has the same flower-shaped birthmark as me.

Let me have a look.

Since you're here, Mr. Qing Jian,

I have a request.

No problem.

Since I got hurt,

I haven't had a bath for a long time.

There are many women at home.

Is it convenient for you?

Why not?

Thank you, Mr. Qing Jian.

How is the water temperature?

I was careless.

Did I make your clothes wet?

It's fine.

I'll just get changed.

You don't have to take me as a stranger.

Why don't you get your wet clothes changed right here?

What do you mean by this, Lord Li?

You have been hostile to me

because of the Holy Envoy.

But you don't have to target me on everything.

A gentleman doesn't steal what others love.

I will stay away from the Holy Envoy in the future.

This matter will end

today.

What I'm going to introduce to you today

is a dish

that is very popular in our hometown.

Hotpot.

Repeat after me.

Hotpot.

Hotpot.

We only eat this

when our families and friends

are all together,

and we feel very happy.

We'll eat it together.

But the meat is so unconventional.

This is to make it

look more delicious.

Just like our love—

terribly sweet.

What are you talking about?

Holy Envoy.

I've shredded the spring onions and garlic.

Look.

Not bad, Lai.

Well,

Lord Li,

I have two more dishes in the kitchen.

Can you get them for me?

Go, Yang.

Go

Okay.

Come back soon.

Come here.

Do you think Li would like this?

I think both of them will like it.

I just had a bite.

It tastes good.

Right?

You took a bite?

It does look good.

So, in the end, it all comes down to the smart, beautiful, lovely, charming,

sexy, and pretty Hua Ni.

It has to be our Holy Envoy.

These two plates, right?

We can finally have a reunion dinner.

Qiang, come here.

My Lord, I found it.

It indeed is the white cherry blossom.

-There's also Cangshuo in the field. -What is that?

I can't be mistaken.

Did you disturb anyone on the way?

No.

Let's go and find out the truth now.

Yes.

Qingqing.

You eat first.

We'll be back soon.

Let's go.

We'll wait for you.

Don't move.

Say it.

Who sent you here?

I don't know.

No one sent us here.

You don't know?

All five of you can die here

or leave alive.

I'll ask you one last time.

Who sent you here?

Taining Hall

Yu.

What is this character?

This is "Qian,"

as in the word we use to describe a gentleman.

Yu

is the smartest.

Today, I'll teach you how to write this character.

Why is the character "Qian" in the will

completely different from what my mother wrote?

You're back, Muyang.

Are you mad at me?

I'm sorry.

I promised to wait for you,

but I couldn't help it.

What's wrong?

Did you find anything?

My Lord.

The hidden weapons of the mastermind are needles.

This...

It's Moqian!

Moqian!

Yu.

I heard from the maid that you were here.

Why are you here?

I've been away from Yanxia Shop for a while.

I want to come back and have a look.

I grew up

here.

It was also here

where I met Muyang.

By the way,

Muyang and I...

used this vat

to dye a piece of new clothes for you.

Do you still remember?

I remember.

That piece of clothes

was given by you and Muyang together.

Moqian.

I want to ask you something.

When Mother asked you to sew the wedding gown,

did she mention who I was to marry?

The former master just asked me to make the wedding gown.

She didn't mention who it was.

But if you didn't know who the groom was,

how could you know the size of the wedding gown,

and how could you make it?

The groom's wedding gown is always loose.

Unless the groom has an unusual figure,

the gowns all have similar sizes.

The former master said

she wanted to give you a surprise.

Really?

Okay.

I was overthinking.

It's late.

Let's go home.

Muyang,

you must have known the truth.

I'll wait for you

outside the hall tomorrow.

Tell me, who sent you here?

I don't know.

No one sent us here.

You don't know?

I'll ask you one last time.

Who sent you here?

It's…

I know

you will come.

Why?

You must be surprised.

Li Muyang.

I met you that year

and took you to see Yu.

That's what I regret the most in my life.

Yanxia Shop

Let's go!

Yu's birthday is around the corner,

but I can't even dye a piece of fabric with a color gradient,

let alone making a pretty gown

for her.

Your method is wrong.

The cloth will never be dyed into a color gradient.

If you want the color to be a gradient,

you can use the radix asparagus to bleach.

We did it!

Yu.

Happy birthday!

Thank you, Moqian.

I like it very much.

I didn't make

this gift alone.

Thanks to him,

I can dye this dress to the effect of a color gradient.

What's your name?

I'm Li Muyang.

Greetings, Young Master.

Since you're Moqian's friend,

then you're also my friend.

Run faster!

Moqian! Muyang!

Run faster!

Muyang! Moqian!

Wait for me!

-Yu. -Hurry!

It's so hard!

Moqian.

Help me!

Sorry, Yu.

I only know how to draw needles.

I'm not good at archery.

Awesome.

The snow

has made me lie on the bed for a month.

When can I recover?

I want to go riding and hunting.

Don't worry.

You can go out after you recover.

It's boring

to stay in the boudoir all day long.

I wonder

when winter will pass.

I want to see the peach blossom in the courtyard.

Woyue Pavilion

Look how cold you are.

Why bother?

When the spring comes,

Yu's wish will naturally come true.

It's Yu's wish,

so I'll do my best to fulfill it.

It's dawn.

I'll check if her medicine is ready.

Zhixue.

Actually, that day,

when I saw Muyang sticking peach blossoms on the tree branches for me,

I thought I'd already recovered.

Yu!

Yu! What's wrong?

Help! Help!

Yu!

I'll get the imperial physician.

Yu.

Yu!

Go get the imperial physician.

Yes.

Young Master is possessed by evil spirits.

It's useless to get an imperial physician.

Chief, you mean…

There is holy water in our Holy Pool,

which contains the supreme power of the Peacock God.

It can remove evil spirits.

May I ask the Peacock God

to give the holy water to save my daughter?

Peacock God, please grant us the blessings.

Young Master is possessed by evil spirits.

I, Ruan Jiushu,

beg the Peacock God to heal Young Master.

Now that Chief caught a cold,

the lie that she claimed holy water could cure the disease doesn't hold water anymore.

Now, Master Rong has invited a hermit doctor

to treat Yu.

I'm sure she'll get better soon.

Yu's wish will come true soon

and she can ride and shoot arrows again.

Thanks to your intelligence,

their fraud was exposed.

The Peacock Sect's demons

fool people.

They must be eliminated.

Have you had an idea?

Since then,

you founded the Flowers Kill,

and I followed you

to become a member of the Flowers Killer.

But now,

I can't tell

if I joined the Flowers Killing

to eliminate the Peacock Sect

and protect Yu

or to be more like you?

More like me?

Since we met,

I couldn't help but follow you.

Your generosity

and your righteousness

were what I didn't have.

I always thought

if I could be more like you,

Yu would pay more attention to me.
