[Peacock in Wonderland]

[Episode 7]

[Li's Mansion]

With the evening primrose,

she should be fast asleep.

Muyang.

It's not your style to show off in public.

I don't know why.

Are you going to say

that you couldn't help it

or you had no choice again?

What do you mean?

Ever since she appeared,

she has been appearing in my dreams lately.

The strange thing is that those dreams

all came true in reality.

Maybe you've been overthinking

and blurred the lines between your dreams and reality?

Not only that.

Since this woman appeared,

I've often found that

my body was faster than my mind.

I often do some inexplicable things

that even make me surprised.

Do you like her?

Right? I think so, too.

How many times have I told you?

It's absolutely impossible.

This woman has a suspicious identity and acts cunningly.

If we weren't linked the Red-tailed Bugs,

I would have killed her.

You're right.

As the saying goes, your dream at night is about what you think in the daytime.

Don't be too sensitive.

Qiang,

how is the thing I asked you to investigate?

My Lord, I found out

the person who tried to assassinate the Holy Envoy

was He Huan from the Peacock Sect.

In that case,

she is not on the same side as the Peacock Sect.

Such a smart and knowledgeable person

might be able to help our sect of Flowers Kill.

Muyang.

How has the Holy Envoy been recently?

Master, everything is fine with her.

It's just that the Holy Envoy is too playful

to follow the rules of the sect.

The Holy Envoy is pure and naive.

She is different from mortals.

She has received the order from the Peacock God.

It's a blessing for the people that she can bring blessings.

You don't need to be so harsh on her, Chief.

The Holy Envoy carries the weight of great responsibilities.

She's also in a high position in our sect.

How can she be as naive as a child?

Since she's chosen by the Peacock God,

she won't get used to the rules made by us mortals.

Chief,

no need to be too strict with her.

Yes.

Mother.

Yu.

I have something important to do in the sect.

I won't disturb you and Young Master.

I'll take my leave.

I'll leave as well.

Mother, I'm here today

to beg you for a favor.

Speak frankly. You don't need to beg me.

Since you were young,

I've granted all your wishes, haven't I?

Mother.

I'm not young anymore.

It's time for me to get married.

Yesterday you just said you wanted to accompany me.

And now,

you become so eager to get married?

From now on,

I can accompany you together with my husband.

Don't try to coax me.

Everyone knows your feelings for Li Muyang.

But silly girl,

you are too straightforward.

You don't know how to court a man at all.

When dealing with men,

you need a little scheme

to attract their attention.

Playing hard-to-get is the only way to win his favor.

If you keep hanging around in front of them,

it might backfire,

and you'll be despised by him instead.

Mother,

I'm serious about Muyang.

I don't want to use

those manipulative methods on him.

Mother,

I'm here today to ask for a Master's Decree.

Mother, please grant a marriage for me and Muyang.

Get up.

Get up.

You have to propose before you're engaged.

You have to ask his opinion first.

How can you act so reckless?

Have you asked Muyang

if he is willing to marry you?

Well…

I'm a master of love who has swept so many men off their feet.

How could I have such a silly daughter like you?

You should ask him first,

and then we'll talk.

That makes sense.

Mother,

please teach me some other things.

[Guanbuzhu]

After the Moon Epiphyllum blooms tonight,

Muyang and the Holy Envoy

will no longer be troubled by the Red-tailed Bugs.

That'd be great.

I don't need to wear

a human pendant 24 hours a day.

Did I do anything wrong

to have tired you out?

No.

Lord Li, you are the best man in the world.

I've caused you trouble these days.

I'm really sorry.

I'm here!

Yu.

Last time you said you needed a cloak,

so I made this for you.

Here.

Thank you.

Is this the haute couture of Yanxia Shop?

It's beautiful.

No one can compare to Moqian's craftsmanship.

In the future, I'll ask you

to make my wedding costume.

Everyone is here.

Let's eat.

Muyang,

After the link between you and the Holy Envoy is lifted tonight,

I'll have something important to tell you.

All the words are in the wine.

Cheers.

Cheers.

Here.

Here.

Eat.

Thank you, Young Master.

I'll do it myself.

Who?

Who is it at this hour?

Watch out, Yu!

The Moon Epiphyllum!

Lord Li, wait for me.

Wait for me here.

I'll go help Muyang.

Yu! Are you okay?

I'm fine.

Maybe I drank too much.

Lord Li, wait for me.

When did you learn the light-body skills?

Lord Li, it hurts.

Lord Li.

-It hurts. -Let's go!

Yu!

Stop!

What should we do?

What should we do?

Is this merciless man

really Li Muyang?

If Timid Boy is dead,

will I die with him, too?

The darts are poisonous!

Yu, take a rest.

I'll go get a towel!

Yu.

Are you okay?

♫The moon is hazy when the wind passes the court♫

Muyang.

♫How can I dream about the past when it's gone?♫

Muyang.

♫When we parted, I understood♫

♫The deep love hidden in your eyes♫

♫I'm waiting in vain♫

♫I look back, but I can't see your smile again♫

♫I love you so much that I can't write it down♫

I'm Moqian.

♫I'm willing to seal away this destiny for you♫

Yu.

♫If I don't dream or wait♫

I'm Moqian.

♫Can I forget this life?♫

♫But the wind in my previous life♫

♫Blows past my eyebrows♫

♫If I don't ask or hate♫

♫and if my obsession is not strong♫

♫Let the dream come to its root♫

♫In your city♫

Lord Li,

You and Moqian both look vulnerable.

How come you're so good at martial arts?

I was frail when I was a kid,

so I had to learn martial arts.

Please don't overthink, Holy Envoy.

Then, why do you

pretend to be a weak scholar every day?

Is that your character setting?

I didn't mean to hide it.

Yu and Moqian both know about it.

Don't you like martial arts practitioners?

If that's the case,

I will conceal it more

and won't show it in front of you again.

No, that's not what I meant.

It's great that you know martial arts.

You can also protect me, right?

I will protect you.

-Holy Envoy. -My Lord!

-My Lord! -My Lord!

Where did you go?

We searched all night.

The Holy Envoy was injured last night.

We had a rest at the shore.

Holy Envoy, are you injured?

Is it serious?

I'm fine.

It's just a minor injury.

I just feel a little weak.

It's Lai's fault.

He's been dilly-dallying all along the way.

Otherwise, we would have found you long ago.

Then, the Holy Envoy didn't have to get hurt.

How could you say that?

Those bad guys hurt me.

It has nothing to do with Lai.

My Lord, take a rest.

I'll carry the Holy Envoy.

It's okay.

We'll be there soon.

It's said that a friend in need is a friend indeed.

After this night,

Timid Boy became so much like a good boyfriend.

The Holy Envoy is not badly injured.

We will enter the city soon.

You can walk on your own from now on.

Let me carry you.

Wait for me.

Be careful.

Where are Moqian and Young Master Rong?

I don't know.

Qian.

[Yanxia Shop]

Qian.

Are you okay?

I'm fine.

It was just an accident.

What are you planning to do now?

It's okay.

Since it was just an accident,

just take it as a dream.

Let's go. Leave him alone.

He...

Is he okay?

What happened to you two

last night?

I don't know.

After you left,

I felt dizzy.

Maybe…

Maybe I was drunk.

But it's okay.

I'll be responsible for him.

How will you be responsible for him?

I...

You know we grew up together.

It's one thing that we messed around when we were young.

What happened this time…

I hope

you two can give each other an explanation.

It's okay, Yu.

Relax.

It's okay.

Relax.

It's fine.

[Li's Mansion]

So much trouble happened at one night.

We shouldn't have drunk.

The wine spoils everything.

No matter what happened,

it's their business.

We are both outsiders.

It's not appropriate to intervene too much.

Do you understand?

Lord Li,

is Moqian into Young Master Rong?

I thought you knew it.

What a love triangle!

Why didn't you see it?

I didn't.

-You didn't see it? -My Lord.

Master Rong urgently summoned you and the Holy Envoy.

Greetings, Master.

Greetings, Master.

Holy Envoy,

what have you been busy with lately?

Master,

I've been investigating the conditions of the people

and helping them out in the city.

Really?

Then why did someone report

that you and Li Muyang, Minister of Rites, are having an illicit sexual relationship?
