=Dream in the Mirror= =Episode 10=

Mr. Chancellor.

What happened to Divine Ximen...

It was my doing.

Do you know,

what it means

once it's revealed?

All that I have done

is for you, Mr. Chancellor.

Well.

Want to involve me in as well?

I wouldn't dare.

We failed to assassinate the hostage twice.

Both because we underestimated Su Nanyan.

But now

she is imprisoned in that cell,

in danger herself.

With such little tricks,

can you frame Su Nanyan?

Solely on my own,

I certainly cannot do this.

But I heard

that His Majesty

has entrusted Chancellor with this case.

As long as Chancellor delays this case till tomorrow,

without Su Nanyan in Baili's Mansion,

Baili Jingxing will meet his end tonight.

Don't you

care about your beloved Su Nanyan?

After today, she might no longer exist.

Beimo will be happier

if General's Mansion is gone

after tonight.

Mozhu, how long

are you working for Chancellor?

None of your business.

Do not think that little tricks

are enough to gain Chancellor's trust.

You're in no position to talk to me.

Hurry. Open the door.

What's it?

It's poisoned.

How could this be?

What should we do?

Should we send her to the clinic now?

But...

You said

she is General Su Mu's daughter?

If she were to die here,

do you think we can live on?

Quick, quick.

Come on.

Slow.

Careful.

Miss Su, when did you start

to use these filthy tricks?

You look like an old friend of mine.

Mr. Baili, this is the assassin of last night.

What are we doing here?

Aren't we going to investigate Divine Ximen's death?

Be careful with fire in such dry weather.

Miss,

don't blame us.

If you confess,

you will not go through the torment.

Careful.

Si, how are you?

I'm fine.

Go save Mr. Baili.

You know martial arts.

I'm sorry, then.

Mr. Baili. Mr. Baili.

Mr. Baili.

If you dare tell Su Mu,

I won't spare you.

Mr. Baili.

Mr. Baili.

Mr. Baili.

Mr. Baili.

Are you okay?

Nanyan arrived in time.

I'm fine.

Yan.

Why are you here?

Aren't you locked in the cell?

I'm worried about Mr. Baili's safety.

So I broke out of the cell.

His Majesty has asked Chancellor

to probe Divine Ximen's case.

Your escape may

make it harder to clear your name.

Right.

Tell me what happened last night.

Father, last night I...

I went to check on Si.

Okay.

When I arrived at Divine Ximen's home,

I found him dead inside.

Then, I was hit by the mesmerizing incense.

It seems like

there is someone behind this.

Even the assassin tonight

must be arranged by the same person.

It's just that Divine Ximen died.

No one can prove that Jiang Beimo is the murderer.

Yan,

will you continue the investigation?

Father.

Zhao Qingqing got involved

ultimately because of me.

I should look into it.

Tonight, I will assign more people in the Mansion.

I'm afraid tomorrow will be tougher.

Thank you, father.

Eavesdropping isn't good, is it?

Hostages can't practice martial arts.

Why do you help me?

Why practice martial?

Do you have other agenda about Nanyuan Nation?

I'm not interested in governance.

Martial arts are to kill time.

I only want to leave here.

Be an ordinary person.

This is a hostage from Dongque.

His father-king doesn't want him.

Let's go. Do not play with him.

Miss Su might think about

who's trying to kill me all along.

This person may

have hidden agenda about Nanyuan Nation.

You suspect?

Jiang Beimo.

But surely not just him.

The person behind this,

I can't jump to conclusions.

So the best way right now

is that we cooperate.

This person can send me to the cell.

He must have quite some influence in the court.

As you can protect yourself now,

I can better focus on the matter of Zhao Qingqing.

You heard it.

I didn't kill the person.

Someone wants to frame me.

The matter of Zhao Qingqing

is truly unrelated to you?

Before that,

answer me a question first.

Why do you so care about Zhao Qingqing?

Now, I am asking.

Your answer

decides my answer.

She saved my life.

She gave me this.

She said this red string

could take me to a place beyond this world.

I know she might just be deceiving me.

But I choose to believe her.

She kept me going this far.

Like this?

Looks like

the covenant of two

is turning into a covenant of three.

Zhao Qingqing you've been thinking about

is still alive.
