King/Chancellor

Chancellor,

Hostage Baili truly has no hidden agendas.

Su Nanyan is also by his side.

Maybe

we should remove those monitoring him.

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

The hostage has a special status.

It's still wise to be cautious.

(Baixiang Mansion)

Thank Chancellor.

Mr. Baili.

Why I feel Chancellor sends you medicine daily

not to save you,

But to...

So many years have passed,

it wouldn't make a difference.

Avoid causing further trouble.

Mr. Baili.

There's one more thing.

I wonder...

Go ahead.

Miss Su likes Jiang Beimo, right?

Why did she suddenly lose temper

and you two...in public?

In that case,

why is she avoiding you today?

I knew I shouldn't say it.

But I am still curious.

She...

Where is she?

She's in the room.

Su Nanyan.

Su Nanyan.

I'll spit it out.

In here,

you can do whatever you're supposed to.

Except that,

don't interfere with my life

by doing things unnecessary.

Save me.

Save me.

Su Nanyan.

Miss Su is all right.

After a short rest, she will wake up.

Thank you.

Mr. Baili, let me take your pulse.

No need.

Thank you.

Your condition was still manageable.

But after that misdiagnosis a year ago,

you got worse.

But I can do nothing with it.

I am truly ashamed.

Sir, it's not your fault.

The misdiagnosis is all because of me.

It's unrelated to you.

May I know

if you know any trace of that swindler recently?

Sir, we have been searching him,

yet we still haven't found him.

In this world, those who did evil will surely get their retribution.

Take care.

Anything odd yesterday?

Mr. Baili, nothing.

Besides,

everyone said

General Su's daughter, Su Nanyan,

is the top master in Nanyuan.

How could anyone possibly hurt her?

What's it?

Mr. Baili.

The Su Nanyan's slap is indeed extraordinary.

Go investigate Su Nanyan again

to see if she was physician.

Mr. Baili.

She grew up in that mansion.

She can't be that person.

They carry that Mirror around waist,

and their hands are as hot as fire.

Certainly not usual.

This is no coincidence.

Go check it again.

He looks frail and delicate.

Why always thinking about taking advantage?

Miss Su.

Have some tea.

No, thanks.

Why don't you get me something to eat?

Yes.

Where to go this time?

You! You rake!

Keep away.

I saved you,

yet you don't even thank you?

You saved me?

Someone in your mansion wants to harm me.

You, the top one in Nanyuan.

Someone wants to harm you?

The top one in Nanyuan?

No wonder they all fear me.

You humiliated me in front of the guests yesterday.

I thought, out of guilt,

you harm yourself as a way to apologize.

Pah!

Jiang Beimo should be feeling guilty.

Yesterday, I tried to reveal his true nature.

Yesterday I...

I...

Right.

Wasn't I scolding him yesterday?

(But)

(why can't I remember what happened last night?)

Su Nanyan.

The reason I agreed to marry you

is that I didn't want to offend King of Nanyuan.

You'd better behave.

Let's do our duty.

Do not make more trouble.

Oh.

Is the mirror at your waist yours?

Forget it.

I don't trust you.

Mr. Baili, I heard something.

It may relate to the mirror.

Su Nanyan was said to have a serious illness.

Couldn't make it to 20.

But before she married you,

she abruptly healed.

She cured it herself?

Then,

it was her who cured it?

I have brought the person who cured Su Nanyan.

You are...

Greetings.

Did you cure Su Nanyan's illness?

No, no.

I was just talking nonsense.

That's not what you said just now.

I got drunk just now,

but I am sobered up now.

Are you telling the truth?

Yes, I promise.

How dare you!

Do you know even the King

favors Mr. Baili well?

If you dare to lie to him,

I'll make you die brutally.

I wouldn't dare.

Please spare my life.

What do you want to know?

I will tell you everything.

This is becoming more strange.

No way.

I must find my body

and leave here.

Miss Su, Mr. Baili wants to see you.

Mr. Baili, Miss Su is here.

Su Nanyan.

I'll give you one last chance.

You must tell me the truth.

What truth? Tell me more.

You're severely ill since little.

The court physician predicted you wouldn't live past 20.

Yes or no?

But before you and I got married,

this illness was cured.

Yes or no?

What do you mean?

You got cured because you took a medicine.

Yes or no?

Do you know what this medicine was made of?

The blood of a living person.

Come on.

Repeat what you

just told me.

That day,

I heard that Miss Su had a strange illness.

But after seeing her, I knew

that this strange illness required

the blood of a person with the identical birth date and time

as core ingredients

for the medicine.

I told General Su Mu about it,

but the general said

that this was an unorthodox and improper method

and kicked me out of there.

A few days later,

a man with a masked face

came to me with a girl,

saying

this girl had the same birth date and time

as the general's daughter, Su Nanyan.

So I used the girl's blood

as the core ingredient.

Do you still remember

that woman's birth time and date?

That woman and you both were born

on Xin Chou,

- Xin Mao, Xin Hai, - Xin Mao, Xin Hai...

and...

Ren Chen.

Why do you have this mirror?

Isn't this from that girl?

Where is Zhao Qingqing?

Where is she now?

Zhao Qingqing?

Who is Zhao Qingqing?

She is the girl you mentioned,

with the Double Blossom Mirror.

This...

This...

Tell us now.

I'll tell you.

That girl...

That girl's corpse

has been thrown off the cliff long ago.

What did you say?

After that girl's blood was taken,

a masked person hurled her off the cliff.

Now her corpse is probably already eaten by birds and beasts.

When that girl was brought by the masked person,

she was already dead.

I didn't kill her.

Where's that masked guy?

I don't know.

Well...

After then,

I never saw him again.

Su Nanyan.

What do you want to say?

Let's go to the yamen.

Let's go.

Well...

Su Nanyan.

Mr. Baili.

Su Nanyan just said

to go to the yamen herself.

Mr. Baili.

Before the matter is cleared up,

you should not get too involved.

We will be returning to Dongque soon.

You'd better stay away from the trouble.

But that is...

I know, Mr. Baili.

Trust me.

I will surely get to the bottom of this.
