- Previously on "RuPaul's Drag Race"...
You need to entertain us at the Charisma, Uniqueness,
Nerve, and Talent Monologues.
- Bitch!
Where am I?
- Lana Ja'Rae.
There just wasn't enough heart in it.
Sam Star.
- I wanted to laugh more.
- Onya Nurve.
- To help me shit.
- You're so charismatic I could listen to you talk all day.
- Lexi Love.
- The best part was your interpretive dance.
You two work very well together.
Condragulations.
You are both winners of this week's challenge.
Sam Star, shantay, you stay.
Lana Ja'Rae, sashay away.
- The undefeatable Lana Ja'Rae has finally been defeated.
My God.
- Keep on dreaming.
Live, laugh, Lana.
- We love you, Lana.
- I just survived my first lip sync, thank God.
But I'm a train wreck, girl.
- I will say that y'all both turned
that lip sync the fuck out.
Yeah, y'all did.
- It was a... it was an incredible lip sync.
- I was so terrified in the moment
because I said, my God, like, I can't go home.
I just can't.
My drag race life flashed before my eyes
before that lip sync.
I was so terrified.
Terrified.
I really don't know what to say,
and I know that that's new for me, but...
It was a very hard challenge.
I did feel like, when we were performing,
we were disconnected.
I knew that the writing was on the wall for us.
I was doing such a steady climb towards the top,
and then all of a sudden,
it's like you're back to ground zero.
Never again.
Over my dead body, that will never happen again.
I'm not lip syncing again until we're at the finale.
- Cut to... - Mark my words. Don't play.
I still blame Lexi.
Because if Lexi and I had been partnered up,
I know that we would have done such a great job together.
- Miss Lexi and Miss Onya, congratulations.
- Thank you so much! - On another win.
- I know that was very hard for you to say.
So thank you.
I am now in the two-wins club.
Now, Miss Onya, thank you for letting me ride
up that escalator with you.
My confidence level now is being fed.
The beast is growing, honey.
- You are now in the four-winners club.
- Yay! - Condragulations.
- I am leading the competition, and I am happy as a duck.
Quack, quack!
Even though I'm super proud of myself...
I know I'm winning, but, like, the game ain't over.
And I hope you all understand that,
like, this is not a game of how many wins we have.
- Right.
- It's a game of who makes it to the end.
I am around some talented bitches
that I cannot disregard yet.
- Yeah, the three of us, and then poor Jewels.
- I feel like I'm being overlooked,
just because I have one win and these queens have more wins.
- I'm gonna interpretive dance a turkey.
- Yes, bitch. - Please give it to us.
- It is really hitting me how close we are
to the finals of this competition.
Top five was my goal today.
Top four is my goal tomorrow.
- And if I get top four, which I will,
the goal will be the finale.
I will be here. I'm like a fucking roach.
You can hit me, but I'm not going anywhere, bitch.
I am la cucaracha of drag.
I hate that I just called myself the roach of drag.
I hate that! No.
Whoa!
"RuPaul's Drag Race"
The winner of "RuPaul's Drag Race"
receives a one-year supply
of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics
and a gag-worthy grand prize of $200,000,
courtesy of TodayTix, the theater ticket app.
With extra-special guest judge June Diane Raphael.
"RuPaul's Drag Race"
May the best drag queen win, best drag queen win
- Mother, I'm home!
- Top five.
- It is a new day.
There is a celebratory feeling in the air.
Top five. - This is insane, bitch.
- Well there's actually six of us here.
It's the five of us and Sam's beard.
- You know what?
Gag, girl. I'm a man.
- Bearded queen today, honey.
- I'm very thrown mentally from being in the bottom.
I didn't even shave today, girl.
I just can't even. My mental is all fucked up.
I'm still emotional, and I know that that is not helpful
when it comes to "Drag Race."
- Hello, hello, hello.
My goodness.
- Buffalo stripes.
- Good morning to my top five queens.
For today's Mini Challenge, we're gonna play a little game
we call Spill the T.
Brought to you by QList,
the app for finding queer spaces around the world.
- Gag.
I am so ready
to spill all the tea on these fucking bitches.
- Here's how the game works.
I ask a question like, which queen is the fiercest?
Then you all vote.
Now, each time your answer
matches the majority of the group, you get a point.
In the end, the queen with the most points wins.
The time has come to play Spill the T.
First question.
Which queen's personality is most like a box of chocolates?
You never know what you're gonna get.
Y'all ready?
Well, we have a tie.
Two for Lexi, two for Onya.
- Yeah. - Next question.
Which queen is most likely to fake an orgasm
in the middle of a crowd?
OK.
There's another tie going on here for Jewels and Lexi.
Suzie voted for herself.
Now, Suzie, can I hear what that might sound like?
- Ooh. - Ew.
No.
- Was that an orgasm or aneurysm?
Next question. Fill in the blank.
Which beast is most likely to co-star in the sequel,
"Godzilla versus Blank"?
Beast!
Suzie Toot is the choice here.
To which queen would you most like to say,
hasta la vista, baby?
- Easy.
- Lexi, you grabbed that paddle very fast.
- I think America knows who I'm picking.
My gosh, a tie again.
Everyone gets a point except Onya.
She wants to see Jewels go hasta la vista.
- Damn, bitch. What the fuck?
- Jewels wants to see Onya go.
- You fucking bitch. - You bitch.
- Next question.
On tour, which queen is the most likely
to search for the best little bathhouse in Texas?
OK. Sam.
- Yeah! - Yes.
Now when visiting New York City,
which queen is most likely to search for an after-hours bar?
My gosh, a clean sweep for Lexi.
All right.
Time for one last bonus question,
and it's worth five points.
So anybody could win.
Shit.
- Which queen is in danger, girl,
as in, which queen's going home next?
- Think long and hard.
Ooh.
Everybody voted for Jewels except for Jewels.
How does that make you feel, Jewels?
- I knew they were going to say that
because I only have one win.
But I'm not done kicking.
OK, queens.
The winner of today's Mini Challenge is
Onya Nurve.
Thank you!
Eat that up, piggy.
- You've won $2,500.
- Ooh!
- Courtesy of QList. - Yes!
- You can buy a lot of chicken wings with that.
- Let's go get it.
- My queens, when you become a drag mother,
your whole life changes.
The greatest gift I've ever received
is to be Mama Ru to all my girls.
- Aw.
- And now I want to give you that same gift.
My God.
- Please welcome to the Werk Room
some extra special drag newbies.
First up, Sam Star's mom, Leslie.
My God!
My God!
I can't believe my mom is here.
She is everything to me.
She's exactly who I needed to see
when I've been so emotional.
My God!
Thank you, Ru.
That's my baby.
That's my baby.
My God.
- Next, Suzie Toot's mom, Susan.
My God!
Holy shit.
My God. I am so happy you're here!
- Up next, Onya Nurve's dad, Andre.
My God!
I missed him so much.
That is my homie back home.
You so crazy for doing this.
- Up next, Jewel Sparkles' dad, Douglas.
- Hey, queen!
- "Hey, queen."
That is the most amazing thing to hear from him
because outside of this competition,
that's the first thing he says to me.
Hey, queen.
- So proud of you.
- And last but not least, Lexi Love's mother, Tammy.
My God.
Mommy!
I fucking can't believe this.
It is my real, actual biological mother
Ms. Tammy at "RuPaul's Drag Race."
Ooh!
Come on.
We can't make RuPaul wait.
- Welcome to the Werk Room, all the parents.
It's just so beautiful.
And everyone at home is thanking you right now.
You guys have some incredible children.
We've put them through hell.
And they survived!
- Yes! - Yes!
These kids are survivors, and that is attributed
to all of you and your open heart.
Now we're gonna put you through hell.
Yeah!
My queens, for this week's Maxi Challenge,
your loved ones are going to get a chance
to strut a mile in your shoes
as you transform them into members of your drag family.
My God.
- Feel free to use your own drag,
plus cosmetics provided by Anastasia Beverly Hills.
This is going to be the mother
and father of all makeovers.
Racers, start your engines,
and may the best drag queen win.
- Ooh!
- Dad, you made it to "Drag Race."
- How about that?
How about that?
- This week's Maxi Challenge is the makeover!
And it could not have come at a better time.
We have to catch up.
There's so much to tell you.
- I know.
- You're gonna be so proud.
- I've done so good, Mama.
- I know you have.
Would you... it's OK.
- My mom is my best friend, and she's
gonna be the person who's gonna be able to, you know,
snap me out of that negative headspace.
Last week, I had to lip-sync for the first time.
I gave it my all, and, honey, I survived.
- Good.
- So this week, Mother, we have a lot to prove.
- We're gonna win.
- Pitch, like, what you want to look like.
- Dolly.
- Dolly, OK.
- Blonde, big hair, some kind of, like, jewel... not jewels.
Why am I trying... like chains or...
or something, like, hanging off of it.
- Wait.
Are you into S&M now? - No.
I don't like S&M.
- My mom has always been a country bitch.
I mean, she's countrier than a buttered biscuit.
And, you know, I think she's always wanted to be
a country music superstar.
Yes, honey.
- I need a mirror.
- Yes, bitch!
Look... look in the mirror.
Yes!
Work it, Smoochy.
Yes.
- My bra's cutting me off.
Lord.
It's hell getting old.
- Real quick, I'm going to grab you a sweater
- so that you are comfortable. - Good.
Thank you.
- Absolutely.
It's a bit of a scary thing to have my mom
suddenly here in my world.
I have an idea and a look prepared.
You're going to be completely black and white.
You're going to, like, step out of a cartoon, because that's
the Suzie Toot way.
- OK.
- So of course my mom is thrilled to see me.
But I can immediately tell that she is a bit
"deer in the headlights."
- I can't wear heels. - Yeah.
That's OK. - I really can't.
- That's just fine. - OK.
And I don't know how much energy I have.
- So... - I know.
- I don't know how much I can do.
- I'm excited to share this with her.
I can't lie and say I didn't wish I had a makeover partner
who was maybe more energetic.
My mom does not have a knack for the stage, or a desire
to be in a spotlight at all.
What we will do is use that to our advantage
and have fun and do crazy, fun characters...
- OK. - And have a good time.
And the most important thing to me,
more than winning this challenge,
is that you are comfortable and that you
are having a good time.
- OK.
- Good.
- I could... I could tell when you walked in.
My strategy here is to prioritize my mom's comfort.
She has to believe she's gonna be amazing
so that she can be amazing.
We are gonna be so good... - OK.
- And so comfortable and so happy.
- Cute!
- Well this has been the craziest experience of my life.
- Yeah?
- Yeah.
- Yeah, this ought to be fun.
I sure do miss you though, boy.
- I'm... I'm excited to be here, but you
know I'm excited to get home.
- It was a long journey to get here.
- Growing up, my dad was in and out of prison.
He went to prison for robbing five banks.
And while he has been a part of my life wholeheartedly
recently, he has also missed very
monumental moments in my life.
So for him to be here means the world to me.
Do you have any idea of what type of drag queen you are?
'Cause you gonna be fierce.
- Fierce?
- Even though my dad has been to my drag shows,
he has never been in drag.
So I have to fully indoctrinate him into the House of Nurve.
Let's figure out what this drag name is.
Obviously, you're gonna be Nurve, but...
- Um...
well, I got some ideas.
- OK. - Check this one out.
Rob-hurt-a Banks.
Look, look.
Rob-hurt-a Bank.
- Not Roberta.
- Rob-hurt-a Bank.
- Rob-hurt-a Bank.
- Rob-hurt-a Bank.
- We not doing that.
I don't know how this is gonna go.
- I know you'll love this.
This is very...
That's great.
- How is mom doing?
I miss her so much.
We've just gone through so much as a family.
After, like, you know, my tumor and Leandro,
it just was, like, a lot.
That's what's been on my mind and that's
what's been, like, pushing me.
My older brother, Leandro, was killed
in a car accident in 2022.
Ever since, honestly, the family
dynamic has been so different.
This is an opportunity to kind of like bring
my family back together.
I felt a lot of pressure that I, like, needed to do really
well here, to turn that around and give everyone
something to celebrate.
When my brother passed, you know, it changed my dad.
My dad has never been the same again.
And seeing him walk into the Werk Room with a smile...
I haven't seen him this happy in a long time.
I need to make it to the end for you guys.
- Yeah, we're... we're already proud of you.
So we're gonna get past this challenge.
There's no doubt about it.
We're gonna win this one.
- Good. - We're gonna win this one.
- Good.
I came here to be extraordinary for my family
because they need it, and I need it.
We're gonna win a challenge on "Drag Race" together.
- Together. - Whoo!
We're gonna do this!
We are!
Damn.
- I am dead right now.
- What do you mean?
- Like I'm just so shocked.
Like, I'm so happy.
Like...
In this moment I am floored that she has
agreed to be here for this.
I cannot take it right now.
You're gonna be in drag.
- I know.
- My mom and mine's relationship
has been a tough one.
When I was 18, my mom kicked me out.
We spent a couple years apart,
a little bit of time separated from each other,
and eventually tried to come back.
It's been a lot of push and pull.
My God.
My.
- Here, look what I got.
- You... don't...
- Tissue.
It's already wet.
I'll do whatever we need to do.
- Um, I'm thinking...
- We just need to take this crown home.
- OK, baby.
- This is your dream coming true.
- I know. I know.
I know.
I cannot help but to be overjoyed by the amount of love
that I'm feeling from her right now, just for the sake
of me chasing my dream.
I still don't know if this is really happening.
Bam!
OK!
And then we have this sexy, strappy bit for you.
- No mercy.
I've never worn anything like this before in my life.
Is this, like, bondage or something?
- No, Mom.
This is like lingerie.
- OK.
- If I can get Mama Bear in this Sexy Lexi look,
then she will do it justice.
Now, if I have to half-ass the sexy look,
then we might be in trouble.
- Lord help us.
- We gonna take it to the honky tonk.
Yee-haw!
- This is humongous, honey.
- I won't be able to get that jacket...
I won't be able to close the jacket.
- I don't think you will, but I kind of just
want to see what it gives.
Wow.
- I guess you'll go get the jacket.
I feel sorry for a woman with these.
- Look in the mirror.
My God.
- Yes! Yes.
You like it?
My God!
- Big ole knockers there.
- Yes, bitch!
- She's feeling the boobs.
She's feeling the boobs. OK.
OK.
- You want to try on some boobs?
- Sure.
I kind of like these.
Shit.
He got boobs now.
He got boobs now.
- Viola Davis or something.
- These fathers, honey, are more
excited to have big ole titties than I was when
I started my estrogen, girl.
- You are crazy!
I am so happy to have my dad share this moment with me.
This also determines who's making it to the top four.
And he know that I know that he know it's game time.
- So this is where we walk in from.
You make your pose.
This week's Maxi Challenge is to do
a drag makeover on our parent.
You take your stuff to the star and you say...
- Hey, queen! - Yes!
That's your entrance line.
- The task at hand is to drag them up and give them
the most glamorous experience and make
them really feel the fantasy.
No? - No.
- No.
- What wig are you thinking about?
- So we're going to do these heart-shaped caps.
I love hair that is, like, not made of hair.
So this is gonna be our hair.
I'm going to take a plastic bag over your head
and do black duct tape, and we're gonna wrap around
to make something that is...
- So it's the same way you made that.
- The same way I made this, we're gonna make it for you.
I think the Suzie Toot special brand of creativity
is going to help push us to a top spot this week.
That is what I am telling myself.
I'll do one more.
- What are you doing to your mother over here?
- We are doing arts and crafts, baby.
- She is wrapping some sort of duct tape around her mom's head
and her mom looks miserable.
- She probably wants to be glamorous and fabulous
and have big hair and Suzie's wrapping
her head up with duct tape.
My God.
It looked like she just killed somebody
and trying to get rid of the body.
- Straighten it up.
It's crooked.
- So who's all left?
- Um, let's look together.
We have Suzie over there in the orange.
She has been doing really well.
Suzie's somebody that has gotten me in my head a lot
in this competition actually. - Really?
- Yeah. Because Suzie's very talented.
She's had a lot... - But you're so talented.
- But she's had a lot of practice.
Suzie was honing her talents while I was
smoking meth in a strip club.
I can see the work that she's put in over that time
that I wasn't able to.
She's the theater kid that didn't get on drugs.
I just had a light bulb moment.
Suzie is me in an alternate universe.
She is that child that I was not able to become,
because I ran away from home and all those things.
Wow.
So I definitely should be nicer to Suzie.
- Mom?
Dad?
I'm homo. - Hi!
- Hi!
- Sam and Leslie, come on down.
- Whoo!
Hey, Leslie.
- Hi, Ru.
- Now, I see these hats here.
These are, like, some pro-am'ing hats, aren't they?
- Yes, God, honey.
- We love the pageants. That's for sure.
- Love the pageants. - Yes.
- I think the most impressive thing
is that you're able to walk sideways like this.
Pro-am. - Yeah.
How do you do it?
Can you do it both sides?
- Both sides.
Ambidextrous, honey.
Let's see that sketch you've got there.
Yes.
Denim and gold. - Ooh.
- It's going to be Dolly Parton mixed
with, like, Jessica Simpson, a little
Joe Exotic, the Tiger King.
You know, all of it into one.
We about to give you the honky tonk badonkadonk squared.
OK? - Any reservations?
Are you scared of anything?
- Well, just that I'm a flip-flop kind of girl.
- The heels might get me a little bit,
but I'm going to practice a little bit.
- Are you a mama's boy? - Yes.
- Absolutely.
- Really?
- She's my best friend.
She was there for me when, you know,
the world was so scary and dark.
And she always told me, she said, you know,
there's gonna be times when people
aren't gonna support you and love you, but I always will.
And she's done that.
And I'm so grateful.
- Yeah, my best friend and I went down to the middle school.
In middle school, they were picking on him real bad
at school.
And I told that counselor, look,
if y'all don't do something about it,
we'll take care of it.
And you better do something.
And the next thing you know, everybody in school loved Sam.
- I love that.
It's such a gift to families around the world to see
such a supportive parent.
You are setting a standard, and it's really
brilliant and beautiful. - I appreciate that.
- It really is. - Thank you.
Thank you. - Thank y'all.
- Thank you, Ru.
My two mamas.
Wow!
- All right, Jewels and Douglas, come on down.
- Hi, Ru. - Hello.
Come on. Settle in.
So what do you have here?
I see these little pussycat wigs.
So we are doing this kind of like '60s snow
bunnies kind of look.
- And he was really passionate about long nails and a reveal,
so we got to give him that. - Yes.
- I think that this is going to be a great week,
'cause my dad's already been in drag.
- You've been in drag before.
- Once during COVID, he put the whole family in drag.
- Really? - Yeah.
- When I put him in drag, his name was Salchicha.
- Salchicha?
- Chicha!
- Salchicha! - Salchicha!
- I love saying that.
Salchee-cha!
- Yes. I live.
- What does that mean? - Sausage.
What do you think your biggest success with this kid is?
- I'm so proud of him in so many different areas,
just seeing him grow up and...
um, him being happy is what makes me happy.
- I count my blessings every day.
Like, they have encouraged me since the day
I was born to just be who I wanted to be and be myself.
- We're known as the drag parents
in all the clubs in Tampa.
- They are.
- Now that I look upon it, that whole move to Tampa
was about Jewels.
He was depressed that we moved and he...
it took him out of school.
And the job that I got was directly across the street
from a nightclub. I said, look...
- There's a drag club.
- There's a drag club. - Yeah.
- I said, I'll go with you if you have nobody to go with,
because you need to make friends.
You need to be out.
- They went with me to my first drag performance.
- Wow.
How many queens can say that their father took them to
their first drag performance?
- I know.
- Words can't tell you how proud my wife and I are of him.
- That's fantastic.
- Yeah.
- I love you.
- Let the love and the gratitude you have guide
you through this challenge.
I'm so excited for this.
- Thank you.
My dad is on cloud nine.
Lovely.
And now it's up to me to translate his fantasy.
- Fabulous!
- All right. Beep beep.
Suzie Toot and Susan.
So your name is Suzie, and your name is Susan.
- My maiden name is Toot.
Is it Toot, really?
Yes.
So this is a big homage to mama, isn't it?
- I always joke that it's more of a theft
than it is a tribute.
- What name have you given the original Suzie Toot?
- We have christened her Queenie Toot.
So I see you've got some mouse ears?
- So the concept here is, we're going for a heart-shaped head.
- OK.
- We're doing a Betty Boop Fleischer cartoon
black and white universe here.
We want to go as Suzie Toot as humanly possible.
- Wow.
- With my stupid fucking duct tape headpiece that
RuPaul has given a funny look.
- Why don't we take this off. - OK.
- Are you afraid of this at all, Susan?
- I'm just afraid I'm going to screw something up for him.
- No. - OK.
- No. It's gonna be great.
I mean, the fact that you've come here
is such an amazing gesture of love,
not just for us, but for the world.
I can't wait to see how you all turn out.
- Me too. - It's gonna be fabulous.
Thank you again for doing this.
- Thank you for inviting me.
- Yes. All right, kids.
We'll see you out there. - Thanks again.
- Thank you. - Thank you so much.
- Onya and Andre.
- Come right to the corner.
My goodness.
Look at the color of those wigs.
- Right.
- Andre, have you ever done anything like this before?
Yeah, no.
- What happened?
- Andre has a beard.
Has Andre agreed to shave that beard?
- Um, well, he know my drag.
And he know me.
He know that beard is coming off.
- Yeah.
- I think I'd be a pretty bearded queen.
- I think so.
- Well, Andre, you have a gorgeous nose.
You have gorgeous cheekbones. - OK.
- I think you're going to surprise yourself
with how fabulous you look.
- There's a few things that I haven't felt in my life.
Fabulous is one of 'em.
- OK.
When we called and asked you to do this,
what was the first thought that went through your head?
- Of course I would come.
I'd do anything for my son.
- Aw. - Yeah.
- When Andre walked through that door,
that was very emotional for you.
- Yeah, it was.
You know, I haven't, you know, spent
my whole life with my dad.
So to be able to share this moment
with him is just amazing.
- What has allowed you to be so open and loving to your child?
- I've been through a lot, you know.
And, um, my two sons have never turned they back on me.
So I will never turn my back on my son.
He's everything to me.
- To have this moment is just, like...
- Yeah, thank you for this one.
- I am so happy you are here.
- I am too.
- It means so much to see a supportive father.
You are so fortunate, so fortunate.
- I love you. - I love you.
- Thank you so much. - Thank you.
- Thank you. - Yeah.
- Lexi Love and Tammy.
All right.
- I'm here, Ru.
- Hey, Tammy. - Hi.
- Now here you are, gonna do drag.
- Yes.
- Lexi, you were gobsmacked that your mother
showed up here.
- Yes.
Me and my mom have had the craziest relationship.
I've just been through the gauntlet.
- It's been hard, but we continue
to work through it together.
She's dreamed about this...
- For so many years.
- My mom using the correct pronouns,
this is something that's never happened
ever, ever, ever, ever, ever.
Holy fucking shit, Tammy.
- I am your biggest fan.
I know that.
Our relationship needs this moment to reset and reconnect.
Thank you so much.
- And I always will be.
No matter what happens here, he's my winner...
she's my winner.
Thank you.
Even in the moment of my mom making a slip up, she's trying
and that's all that matters to me.
- This act of love and open heart
is really what this world needs today.
- Because my mom has given me this little gift
of trans acceptance, I feel like my mom
is ready to take this challenge on with me by the horns.
I thought that went great.
It went great. Thank you.
God.
- All right. Listen up, families.
Tomorrow, you'll make your drag family debut on the main stage.
Now, as my mama used to say, good luck and don't fuck
it up.
- You got it.
- Papa Smurf!
You ready?
- Yee-haw!
We're back and it's time to do our drag
makeover on our families.
- Suzie and Queenie are ready for battle.
- Not only do we have to get ourselves ready,
we have to get our parents in drag.
- OK. - We're gonna do this, baby.
My gosh.
- So it's twice the work, same amount of time.
My goodness.
- It's like Brillo.
- The first thing my dad has to do is shave his face.
Um, he is not happy.
My God.
I can't believe you about to do this to me.
- I've never seen him without a beard in my 31 years of living.
It makes me nervous, but here we go.
You ready?
All right.
- Regardless of his past and him being
in and out of my life, him being here today
just shows me that he is standing
10 toes down in my dream, and I'm just
super happy that he's here.
- It's gonna grow back though!
- Do you feel good about the costume and everything?
- If you fixed it last night to where I can wear it,
yeah, I think that'll be good.
- I know that you usually like to be,
like, more modest and covered up and stuff.
She's always, you know, been insecure about what she wears
and how she presents herself to the world
or, you know, not wanting to go to the beach
because she doesn't want to show her body.
I want you to channel the Leslie
that won that bikini contest.
- I can channel that. - You know what I mean?
My mom won the bikini contest back in 1920-whatever it was,
hanging out with Suzie Toot, OK?
And I want her to feel that again.
I just want you to feel comfortable in your body,
because you're just as beautiful now as you were then.
Thank you.
- If not more to me.
Thank you.
- And just... thank you for being here.
You're welcome.
I wouldn't be nowhere else.
- I'm just so lucky to have you.
You know? - I know.
- And I thank you.
- We're going to do fabulous.
- And it's my time to make it all about you.
- I'm excited. - Are you ready?
- Yep. - We're gonna slay.
We're gonna slay.
- Is there anything you're nervous about?
- I'm nervous about the whole freaking thing.
- My mom might be a little nervous
about being so sexy and naked.
So I do have a little trick up my sleeve.
Yeah.
Wow.
Look at that.
Can you believe that?
- This is one of the Hollywood tricks.
- Why didn't you tell me about this?
- Mom is dying over this little mini facelift.
I hope that this is enough to give her
the confidence on the runway.
So, praying.
The Nurve brow.
- I'm just so grateful that you are here.
You get to literally be a part of the experience.
- Yes.
And it was great getting to spend the whole day together.
I don't think that we've spent that much time
together since you were a kid.
- I just love you so much and I'm so glad that I
get to share this with you.
- Aw.
- I am really grateful for this time
that I'm spending with my mom.
I think we're connecting in a new way,
because I'm putting her in drag.
There's... there's no choice but to talk about subjects that we
haven't talked about before.
I have always wanted to ask you this.
Did you always know that I was gay?
- No.
- No.
- Not always.
Um, but when you did come out I wasn't surprised.
You were like, word.
So that explains it.
- Everyone's gunning for me to get eliminated today.
So I need to make sure that that doesn't happen.
This is a very high stakes challenge.
Not only is this determining who makes it into the top
four, but our parents are here.
You're going to be such a doll, honey.
- My nina.
- With you here, I feel amazing about making it to the finale.
Seeing him smiling here and having fun is just.
I cannot go home on "Drag Race" when my dad is here.
It's just not happening.
Salchicha is coming together, honey.
- So, Susan.
- Yes, my dear.
You look fabulous, by the way.
- Thank you. You do too.
You look a little spooky looking.
Like you're going to come hurt me or something.
- I might.
I might have to.
Sam.
I know where you get it from.
These are just the older versions of us.
- Have you ever seen Suzie perform?
- The show starts so late.
When he did theater, I went all the time.
No, I must have seen it at least three or four times.
- How often do you see Sam perform?
- I try to go once every weekend.
Wow.
- He has two shows.
- Now you're showing me up.
- Well, I'm sorry.
- I would love if my parents could completely
dive into what I do.
But it doesn't always feel like that door is open.
- I'm not exaggerating when I say,
I have competition at the drag club.
Not the other drag queens, my own mother, because she
gets more attention than I do.
- I'm like everybody's mom.
- Right.
But a lot of people don't have that support,
so they all look to her.
- Like, somebody will call me to the side and they'll say,
can I talk to you?
My mom and dad would never come in here, never step in a bar,
never, especially step in a gay bar.
So I'm kind of like everybody's mom at the bar.
- That is so beautiful.
That's fabulous.
- For a lot of these girls, their best friend
has just walked into the room.
And I love my mom to death, but we don't
have that kind of dynamic.
I just see these other families and these other dynamics
that I sometimes feel like I wish that I had.
- We are some lucky gay people.
- Absolutely we are.
- Exactly.
- Isn't it fantastic?
- Yes.
Meeting Suzie's mom has sort of giving me a little more
insight into her.
If anything, it makes me root for Suzie a little bit more
that, you know, she's clearly gone through stuff that we
don't really know about yet.
But I think it's so beautiful that Suzie's mom came and is
doing this, and I'm hoping that maybe that gives
Suzie some more confidence that her mom does stand behind her.
- Did you scope out the competition?
- Scoped it out.
- What are you thinking?
- I think Mickey Mouse is going down.
My God.
That is chismosa. You see?
That is the very chismosa behavior.
Like father, like drag queen.
- So our dads don't plan on doing nothing
but being the piggies of the week.
- Hello?
- Dad, you gonna be the piggy of the week?
- I don't know what that is, but I'm ready.
That's the right answer! - Hello.
- Salchicha.
Cover girl, put the bass in your walk
- Yes.
Feel that.
Wow.
Unreal.
- Welcome to the main stage of "RuPaul's Drag Race."
Michelle Visage, you're an international TV
star, a singer, and a mom.
How do you juggle it all?
- Two words, Ru.
Coffee enemas.
He's got a passion for fashion.
Law Roach is back.
Now, Law, where do you get your sense of style?
Your mother?
- No.
I didn't inherit her sense of style,
but I did inherit her deep throat.
- Damn!
- Well that's a very useful asset.
- Yes.
- And the funny and fabulous,
June Diane Raphael.
Hey, girl. - Hi, Ru.
- Now, you're the mother of two.
Do you have a favorite child?
- Yes, my husband.
I understand that very well.
This week, we challenged our queens to drag
up their moms and dads.
Tonight on the runway, the category
is Drag Family Resemblance.
Racers, start your engines, and may the best drag queen win.
You say you want a...
- The category is Drag Family Resemblance.
Up first, Lexi Love and Mimi Lovely.
- Wow.
Now this is a rose parade I want to go to.
- This is what I made to represent
Lexi for Valentine's Day.
The glamour, the beauty, the passion.
Mom is covered in roses that are cascading down her outfit.
We are just the sexiest, boudoir photo shoot you have
ever seen in your life, honey.
I never want this moment to end.
- Ooh!
Look at that booty.
Yes, ma'am.
- Let's talk about the BB elephant in the room.
- Sam Star and Sassy Star.
- Look, it's Jolene and Holene.
- So, in our relationship, my mom usually wears the pants.
But today, I'm wearing the pants
and she's wearing the panties.
The roles have definitely reversed.
This look represents the House of Star, bitch,
because it's fabulous.
It's gorgeous.
We get to the end of the runway and you thought we were done.
- Ooh.
- Yes, bitch.
- You would upstage me. OK.
- My mom shows her coochie and ass on national
television at 61-years-old.
So, bitch, if you 60 out there, put on a thong.
- This is the Lander sisters now.
- Suzie Toot and Queenie Toot.
- I think you mean Liza and Judy.
- I don't know how my life led to this moment where I am
on the main stage of "RuPaul's Drag Race"
next to my mom in full drag.
This look is friends of Betty Boop
stepping out of a black and white cartoon world.
We are giving Suzie Toot realness.
And I think in her own special meek way,
she is feeling herself just a little bit.
- Look who's back in the mouse.
- Jewel Sparkles and Salchicha Sparkles.
- I can see her North Pole.
- We are the only pastel snow bunnies,
and we are looking so cute, and I'm so excited, but not
more excited than Salchicha.
She is living her fantasy right now.
- Chorizo.
- We created a monster.
Andale, snow monster, รกndale, yes, yes!
- Mi nina linda. - Mwah!
- Que linda.
Just a mother and daughter looking for some na-nookie.
Onya Nurve and Nunya Bidness.
OK.
The remaining Pointer Sisters are here.
Come on, Bonnie Pointer.
- This outfit is a little different
from what I actually would do.
It's kind outside of my aesthetic.
It's giving you very much cartoon and brightness.
My goal was for my dad to feel fabulous,
and, baby, she looks fabulous, and it
seems like most importantly, she is having fun.
- Ms. Celia Natty.
- I wouldn't trade this moment for the world.
- Onya, I'm your father and your mother.
- Welcome, queens.
The family that drags together, gags together.
And now it's time for the judges' critiques.
First up, Lexi Love and Mimi Lovely.
Now earlier, we asked you all to pose for before
and after family portraits.
Here's your before photo.
- Let's see your drag family portrait.
My God!
Look at you!
My goodness.
- Tammy, I think you look so beautiful, just the way you
holding each other.
And I can tell that you really love your daughter
and you proud of her, and that makes me feel really good.
- I wouldn't say a 10 out of 10 with family resemblance.
I feel like you look like you somehow could be friends,
could be distant cousins.
- I had this feeling of seeing two girlfriends
at a sexy sleepover, dressing up.
Tammy, when you turned around and your ass
was so prominent,
it was such a thrill.
And I thought, God, I can't wait until my kids
put me in a thong on TV.
- So tell me, Tammy, what convinced
you to put this outfit on?
- I'll do anything for her.
- She just called me "her"!
This is crazy.
- Lexi has been through so much.
Always tried to be there for her.
Made some mistakes during the way.
- I could never be more proud in this moment.
- Beautiful.
- I'm so proud of you.
- I love you.
- I love you more.
- Up next, Sam Star and Sassy Star.
- Howdy.
- Now here's your before photo.
My God.
- And let's take a look at your drag family portrait.
- My goodness. - Look at us.
- You came around the corner.
The family resemblance smacked us all in the face.
I love the outfits.
They are honky tonk.
And I think the styling is really fantastic.
- As you were walking across the stage,
I could just see how connected you were.
It was almost like you had a lasso between you two.
- This outfit, this is Dolly Parton and Roberto Cavalli.
- Ooh.
- Sassy, tell me about raising an extra special child.
- Girl, he was something else.
My daddy used to say, you know what,
I think he's got a little sugar in his tank.
And I said, I think you're on it, Daddy.
I think you're on it.
- My daddy said the same thing.
- He's just always been just the apple of my eye.
It's a big moment for both of us.
She's just the best.
She's just the best.
- Well you should be very proud, because so many people,
you know in life, they don't follow their bliss.
They don't follow their dreams.
And to have the support of a parent is just brilliant.
- We'll be in the most conservative country place
and she'll go, can I show you pictures?
My son's a drag queen.
But now she doesn't only get to say
that her son was on "RuPaul's Drag Race,"
she gets to say we were. - Aw.
- Yeah.
- And I'm just so grateful for that.
- I love you. - I love you.
- Up next, Suzie Toot and Queenie Toot.
Now, here is your before photo.
Here is your drag family resemblance photo.
Look at that.
- The drag family resemblance is there.
What I loved about your presentation
is the way you were looking out for her.
You were making sure Mama Toot was OK.
- And I thought the way that you
cast her in that role of being a sort of a step behind you...
- Well that was gonna happen anyway.
- That was going to happen anyway, no.
But she knew that, and so it was incorporated
into the performance and I thought
it was hilarious and so sweet.
- I want to wear this.
I think your looks are the most fashion forward looks
of everyone on the stage.
My gosh.
- It's giving me very much Comme de Garcons.
I can really see this on a runway in Paris.
- Queenie Toot, when you were approached about doing this,
what was your first reaction?
- I was so excited to have the opportunity to get to see Ben,
to get to see Suzie, to get to work with her.
I really didn't understand how much work goes into it.
- Suzie, what has this week meant to you?
- Since I started doing drag, I felt
like it wasn't something that I could
fully share it with my family.
So as soon as she walked in, I was like,
thank God, meaning RuPaul.
Because there's no better opportunity
to let you in to my world.
It's just... it's been life-changing.
- It has been a wild and wonderful experience.
- Up next, Jewel Sparkles and Salchicha Sparkles.
Let's take a look at your before photo.
My God.
Now, let's take a look at your drag family portrait.
- Yes!
- Ooh.
- That is sickening.
- I kept wanting to call your dad, Ariana El Grande.
- I live.
- Because for me, he was just the star of the show.
He had the biggest personality.
- Salchicha was everything.
You were really a ham.
- I obviously see the family resemblance, but not the most
flattering of outfits.
- Yeah.
In terms of the outfits, I thought we were gonna see what
was underneath at some point.
- The looks just feel a little lazy.
They feel a little pedestrian.
I think you could have poured more into the looks.
But, Papa, I love you.
- Thank you.
- When you got into drag, what personality trait emerged?
- I don't know.
I turned into a woman.
- Yeah, you did.
- I really did, and I enjoyed it.
It's fun.
It's fun.
- This has just been a dream come true to be
able to do this with my dad.
- Thank you for the opportunity.
- Thank you. - Thank you.
- Next up, Onya Nurve and Nunya Bidness.
- Hey!
All right, now let's take a look at your before photo.
Aw.
- I love that!
- Let's take a look at your drag family portrait.
Aw.
- You two were so much fun.
The way that you two were together.
It just warmed my heart.
I think you both look beautiful.
Onya, I think you did a great job dragging up your daddy.
Well, family resemblance, not 100% for me.
- The looks felt like two girls who have all
the wrong ideas and are telling each
other they look fucking great.
- I hate the outfits.
I absolutely hate the outfits.
But I will say, your daddy fine outside of drag.
- Thank you.
- And I know you tried something new when
you got into drag, but would you like
to try something else new?
And you can reach me at 646...
- Nunya, now once you put the drag on,
did a certain different feeling come over you?
- I felt fierce.
- OK.
- Yeah.
- He just learned that word.
- I feel like a fierce bitch.
- For your daddy, who seems like a real, real strong, tall,
strong man to come out and to support you in this way,
I think is really beautiful.
- I try to be the best dad I can be.
- Yeah.
- You know, he missed my high school graduation
because he was locked up.
And...
for him to be here, it's just,
like, way more important than that.
I'm just so proud.
And he looks gorgeous.
So thank y'all.
- Thank you.
Thank you, queens. I think we've heard enough.
While you untuck backstage, the judges and I will deliberate.
Now, just between us squirrel friends,
what do you think, starting with Lexi Love and Mimi Lovely?
- This was a night and a moment for these two.
Cathartic in so many ways.
I love the outfits.
I love the work that went into each outfit.
But to be completely honest, family resemblance?
No.
- I read it as two friends who had just
gotten a lot of plastic surgery and were recovering together.
Style.
- I'll wear that.
- And I... I was inspired by that idea.
Sam Star and Sassy Star.
- The resemblance of their bitchiness
was so beautiful, because they had the apple does
not fall far from the tree.
- I loved it.
- Everything about it was just fun.
Mom was having a good old time.
- I thought there was a real fashion aspect to the costumes.
It was just like an old fashioned ho-deo.
- All right, let's talk about Suzie Toot and Queenie Toot.
- This is drag family resemblance.
I loved the whole look.
I loved what they were doing, and I really loved the kindness
she showed her mother.
- And Suzie was giving me Liza with a peen,
which I really loved.
To me it was 10 out of 10.
- All right.
Jewels Sparkles and Salchicha Sparkles.
- Salchicha, you know, is everything to me,
and I learned from watching her on stage.
But my least favorite outfits of the night.
Those outfits would not flatter anybody.
- We have seen that look a million times.
- Onya Nurve and Nunya Bidness.
- Just to see him taking such a big risk
was really, really beautiful and made me fall in love
with him even more.
- The problem was, those outfits, it just
felt very school play, right?
Yeah.
- I'm not gonna say too many bad things about...
my future husband and my stepdaughter.
- I mean, is it appropriate for Law to even deliberate?
- I love him.
- Silence.
I have made my decision.
Bring back my girls.
Welcome back, queens.
I've made some decisions.
- Everybody hold hands.
- Come on.
- Suzie Toot, tonight you served the drama and your mama.
You are safe.
Please step to the back of the stage.
Sam Star, you and Sassy put the charisma, uniqueness, nerve,
and talent into country.
Condragulations, you are the winner
of this week's challenge.
- Yes!
- Yee motherfucking haw!
Thank you.
Sam is back.
I know y'all missed me.
Thank you, God!
- You've won a cash tip of $5,000
for yourself and a cash prize
of $2,500 for your mother.
- Y'all don't know how much I need that.
- Thank you.
- And for all our new drag race family members,
you'll be receiving a sickening supply
of Anastasia Beverly Hills Cosmetics
to continue your drag journey.
Yes!
- Lexi Love, your hearts were on full display,
but your family resemblance was half-baked.
Jewels Sparkles, Salchicha brought
the spice to the runway, but your looks were a little bland.
Onya Nurve, your father's love made us proud,
but your drag looks needed a few pointers, sister.
Lexi Love, you are safe.
My God.
- Let's go, Lexi!
- Thank you so much. Thank you.
- You may join the other girls.
- Thank you.
- Jewel Sparkles, Onya Nurve, I'm sorry, my dears,
but you are both up for elimination.
- I am honestly devastated.
This is my first time in the bottom,
and I have led in this competition
for, like, a minute.
Y'all think I'm about to go home?
Not today.
- Two queens stand before me.
- Ladies, this is your last chance to impress me and save
yourself from elimination.
The time has come for you to lip-sync
for your life.
- The odds are stacked against me.
But Onya could have four wins.
I don't give a fuck.
I'm a performer.
I'm not going home.
- Good luck, and don't fuck it up.
- Yes!
Let's go!
Come on!
- Let's go!
Na-na-na-na-na,
Na-na-na-na-na,
Na-na-na-na-na,
Na-na-na-na-na
Been trying to let it go
Trying to keep my eyes closed
Trying to keep it just like before
The times when I never even thought to speak
Don't want to tell you what it is
Ooh-wee, it sound so serious
Got me thinking just too much
I want to set it off, but
It's this one thing
- The coat comes off, and the Latina comes out.
Your soul made me feel it
It's this one thing you did,
It's this one thing that caught me slippin'
It's this one thing, I want to admit it
It's this one thing and I was so with it
It's this one thing you did,
Hey, we don't know each other well
So why I keep picking up my cell?
Memories just keep ringing bells
- I am giving you the Onya Nurve
experience, a campy good time.
It's this one thing and I was so with it
It's this one thing you did,
- Onya punts Jewel's wig like a football.
It's fucking crazy.
It's this one thing you did,
It's this one thing that caught me trippin'
It's this one thing, I want to admit it
It's this one thing and I was so with it
It's this one thing you did,
- Yeah!
Come on, ladies!
- Yes!
Na-na-na-na-na,
Na-na-na-na-na, ooh ooh
- Yeah! - Yeah!
- Yeah!
- Good job!
- Yeah!
- Oof.
I'm sweating here.
My heart was about to beat out of my chest.
- Queens, I've made my decision.
Tonight, the love vibrations are too strong.
Shantay, you both stay.
- Yes! Yes!
Yes!
My God!
- Thank you. Thank you.
- Salchicha and Nunya, stand up!
Stand up!
- Whoo!
- Hey, queens!
- Condragulations, queens.
And remember, if you can't love yourself, how in the hell
are you gonna love somebody else?
Can I get an amen up in here?
- Amen! - All right.
Now let the music play.
I know you wanna work
They want to see you let it out
I know you wanna work, they wanna see you go off
I know you wanna work, you know I am in business
Come, let's give 'em just what they want
They want to see you work, work, work, work
Work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work
- Next time on "RuPaul's Drag Race"...
- You'll be auditioning to star
in "RuPaul's Drag Race Live"
at Flamingo Vegas.
I love it!
Jesus is a biscuit, let him sop you up
- You have this beautiful joy that is just bursting
out of you.
- Before this week is over, at least one of you
will be going home.
- At least?
Y'all caught that?
Work, they want to see you let it out
I know you want to work, they want to see you go off
I know you want to work, you know I am in business
Come, let's give them just what they want
They want to see you, work
They want to see you let it out
I know you want to work, they want to see you go off
I know you want to work, you know I am in business
Come, let's give them just what they want
They want to see you work, work, work
I know you want to work, work, work, work
Work, work, work, work, work, work
Work, work, work
Work, work, work, I know you want to work
Work, work, work, work, work, work
