the host of "The Challenge."

It's gonna be a wild ride.

This is big.

This season is gonna be

unlike anything

that we've ever done before.

You guys are not ready for this.

We've paired you up

with your brothers, sisters,

your cousins,

so no matter who it is,

that one person holds your fate

in this entire game.

I'd like to welcome everybody

to "The Challenge:

Battle of the Bloodlines."

is called Water Battle.

This is a good, old fashioned

king of the hill.

As you can see, there are

two giant piles of dirt.

At the very top, there's a hose.

Water comes out of that hose.

Your goal today is to fill up

your team barrels

with as much water as you can

for ten minutes.

Here's how it's gonna work.

There's gonna be two heats,

one for the guys

and one of the girls.

When I say go, you're gonna race

to the top of that hill

with your team bucket,

trying to fill it up with

the water coming from that hose.

It's gonna get tricky

because everybody else is gonna

be trying to do the same thing.

Once you think your bucket's

full, you'll come back down,

deposit it into your

team barrel.

The team with the least amount

of water in their barrel will be

going straight to the pit

for possible elimination.

The team with the most water

in their barrels will become

today's champions.

Now, for the co-ed teams

it's real simple.

The guys are gonna compete

with the guys, the girls are

gonna compete with the girls.

You guys only have one barrel

and it's a cumulative

amount of water.

Got it?

elimination because Brianna

blew the first challenge,

so I'm not taking any chances

and making her blow

the elimination.

Tonight, you girls are playing

End of My Rope.

As you can see behind me,

there are two rows of posts

with a rope threaded

down the line on either side.

There's also a ring

on each side of the pit,

one for each team.

Your goal tonight is to clip

your rope to your ring.

That rope is not gonna

make it to the ring

unless you unravel it

from these posts.

Here's how it's gonna work.

To begin, each girl is gonna

start behind their line.

When I say go, you're gonna try

and unravel that rope

from these posts.

You have to get it away

from those posts

because it'll make it

long enough for you

to clip it into the ring.

First girl to clip their rope

into their ring

will win tonight's elimination

round for their family,

and stay in the game

and go for the big money.

Losing team is outta here.

>> Both girls are great

but Christina has brought

a little drama with me,

so it really wouldn't

hurt my feelings and it would

probably be best for me

if--hate to say it,

but if she went home.

This is the first time

I'm in an elimination.

I'm not too confident
