in the past of Bigfoots,

Where did he record this?

In the Appalachian Mountains,
Harlan County, Kentucky.

He's also found curious stick
structures, unusual footprints,

all within this same
70 square miles of woods.

He genuinely believes he may
have found a group

of highly evolved Bigfoot.
- Bigfoot geniuses.

Yeah, why not?

Well, look, Kentucky does have
a long history of

Bigfoot sightings.

So, if there is a group of
highly evolved Sasquatch,

maybe they're there.

In the remote wilderness of
Harlan County, Kentucky,

tales of mysterious
Bigfoot-like creatures

date back to the first people
who called these valleys home.

The Shawnee and Cherokee spoke
of a forest giant living in

the woods in
the Appalachian Mountains.

Early European settlers shared
their own tales of encounters

with so-called "hairy men"
for generations.

But researchers really started
paying attention to the region

in the 1930s when Harlan
construction workers reportedly

discovered an eight-foot-tall
human-like skeleton.

In 1955, stories emerged of
five more very unusual

skeletons found at nearby
Pine Mountain.

Upon analysis,
medical professionals reported

the femurs were twice as thick,
but significantly shorter than

those of a normal human.

These humanoids would have
stood only five feet tall,

but would have weighed between
200 and 300 pounds,

leaving some to speculate that
these might be the bones of

a juvenile Bigfoot.

But no skulls were reportedly
found with the bones,

and so the evidence was far
from conclusive.

In the decades since,
hunters, hikers, and locals

in Harlan have regularly claimed

to see large, hairy, bipedal
creatures in the woods.

They've also
reported hearing

unexplainable calls
and screams.

In recent years,
as the coal mines closed,

the human population has
significantly declined.

But incredibly, the number of
potential Sasquatch sightings

has only risen.

And it's not just the quantity
that's intriguing.

If they're authentic,
these Harlan sightings would

indicate Bigfoot intelligence

unlike anywhere else
in America.

There have been groupings of
tracks showing what some say is

unprecedented evidence of
Sasquatch working together.

Sightings of sophisticated
cage-like structures

built against cliffs.

And now, this latest shocking
audio evidence--

what sounds like
a back-and-forth conversation

between two of the creatures
using a basic form of language.

much more sophisticated than

that makes you think so?

Well, I've heard them speak,
for one, and I've also found

tracks where they're in

those tracks?

This track here was found next
to two more Bigfoot tracks.

it's Bigfoot, and not just

a family of humans walking
around out there?

The location.
It's a remote location.

There's no houses within miles.

The chances of someone walking
back there barefooted,

the wilderness, is very slim.

You'd have to have really
tough feet.

the vocalizations that

It's something intelligent.

I don't think a bear

I've found a lot of stick
structures over the years.

For example, I've seen sticks
in a X formation.

they're for?

To me, it's a warning
for the other Bigfoot.

and I noticed something went up

but this was different.

- Bigfoot.

it was a bigfoot?

It was too big to be a bear.

But when I come down
a little farther to try to get

a better look at it, it had
already moved on and hid.

I sat and watched, see if
I could see it again for about

30 minutes.
It never showed up.

But the feeling that I got was,
it was looking at me.

Not that I could hear,
but I don't know how
he'd done it,

but whenever it hollered,
I mean, I felt it.

It was like standing in front
of a subwoofer.

I mean, I felt it
through my body.

a sound that humans can't hear.

So infrasound is
a frequency that's below

what humans can hear.

There's animals
like elephants, tigers--

they can make infrasound.

But I don't know if they can
make it that powerfully.

So it was communicating

Highly intelligent, because it
was hid, and it wasn't

giving up that position.

Any other animal would have,

If we want to see Bigfoot,

Even the most famous explorer
of the Kentucky wilderness,

Daniel Boone, reportedly had
a run-in with Bigfoot.

According to legend,
Boone awoke one day in

the Kentucky backcountry to
find his horses stolen.

He and his son tracked
the horses for miles.

Then, Boone heard his son's
musket fire twice,

turning to discover,
quote, "The largest man

he'd ever seen."

The giant grabbed his son,
slamming him to the ground,

almost killing him.

As the giant crouched to pick
Boone's son up again,

Boone shot the giant dead
through the eye.

Folklore says the body of
the pale, yellow-haired

monster measured
10 feet, 8 inches tall.

And as wild a story as this is,
Boone supposedly told it

repeatedly in his final years.

And I guess now we know

the wilderness till daybreak...

what knocked over the trail cam

and took the missing
bear canister.

Whatever it was had seemingly
outwitted them,

moving stealthily and leaving
no discernible trail.

But there was plenty of other
compelling evidence the team

collected while on the hunt.

That could be a response.
That could be Bigfoot.

The infrasound data Phil
and Heather gathered was sent

for detailed analysis.

consistent with the tools of

our ancient ancestors.

intelligent Sasquatch living in
