More meat.

God, receive the sweet soul of our lady.

Keep hell's demons away from her.

Let her soul rejoice in heaven and let the saints stay close to her.

Wine.

Her guardian angel protected her from temptation on Earth...

and made her an affectionate daughter, and a chaste wife.

She was a very benevolent mistress to her servants, and generous to the Holy Church...

To your eternal rest.

Arnaud, Julien...

- have you opened the crypt? - Yes, sir.

Let's go, then.

Until a few days ago, I was still holding your sweet body against mine.

A wall will separate us forever. God, I rebel against your will.

Why did God let us meet first, and then separate us?

God or Satan?

God doesn't answer, but neither did Satan.

Why? Why this immense pain?

Why this immense desire, that even Caterina's sweet skin is unable to quench?

- What do you want? - Can we help you?

No.

Why are you looking at me like that?

Why are you lowering your eyes? Are you hiding something?

How can you speak so? Have I ever hidden anything from you?

If i did something wrong, you can tell me.

Stay in your room and don't wander around the corridors!

The centre of life is here, close to the spinal cord.

The strange thing is that air, so vital for us, has killed this fish.

But once you said that there are fishes that fly in the air!

Well, they don't live in the air - they hover in the air.

Let's see if he comes back to life when he flies.

No, if you want him to live, you must throw him higher.

- Why are you doing this? - To be able to sleep again.

I could give you some lime, or some valerian.

Nobody can do anything for me.

Do you want to get into my bed, Richard?

What's the matter?

If I can help you, just tell me.

No. You can't do anything.

I don't understand you.

What are you doing here?

Are you afraid? Calm down.

I could kill you.

The epidemic is getting closer.

They say that we won't survive either.

Richard, I'm afraid to die.

Leave me alone!
