- So nothing we didn't

cross reference every
government database

and I found this.

- He's got an FBI file?
- An L5-Confidential file.

- Can you get past
their firewall?

- Well, yeah.
I mean, "can" isn't

really the issue.
It's just more a matter

of leaving a trace which would
lead back here probably.

this liberated village,

they swept it.

Didn't find any insurgents,
but they found a chest

One of Saddam's
hidden cash stashes.

Our team leader, Hicks,
decided to keep it.

When we were leaving,
an Iraqi boy,

about 12 or 13,
saw us.

And Hicks told him to get lost,
but the boy didn't move.

Started yelling.

Hicks got fed up and just...

Opened fire.

Then all hell broke loose,
and by the time it was done,

the boy and 18
villagers were dead.

Hicks and his team then
warned me not to say anything.

Said if I did, they'd come
after me and my family.

- Turns out Graham was
on his way to D.C.

to testify in a joint
US-Iraqi investigation

into the killing
of some Iraqi civilians.

But the weird part is,

is that I've been monitoring
wireless towers in the area

for any signal from devices
on the plane.

Phones, tablets, transponders.
- Find anything?

unless the plane disappeared

undiscovered lake,

or something knocked out
its electronics.

- If it was carrying a guy who
could put him away for murder,

I wouldn't put it past him.

Nobody goes in there.

the plane and any survivors.

Did Paul tell you
where he was going?

- To an education conference
in Boston.

- He wasn't going to Boston.

He was on his way
to Washington D.C.

to testify in an investigation.

- I don't know
why I'm surprised.

The way he's been lately,

he's just grown more isolated.

He hasn't been sleeping.

He lashes out at me

- Did he ever talk to you
about his time in Iraq

as a military contractor?

- Paul's never been to Iraq.

Someone had been watching
Graham's house.

I thought it was Hicks.

Turned out to be
a guy named Morris.

That same car passed through
a West Virginia toll booth

the same night Hicks
and his men were killed.

- I'm not sure why you think
this is relevant to me.

- Maybe because you and Morris
were on the same Ranger squad

years ago,
and we both know how tight

those teams can be.

When Hicks' team killed
those civilians,

they were under
a Black Falls contract--

your company.

I'm guessing you found out
about the massacre

and had Hicks cover it up
just to protect

Black Falls' bottom line,

but then Graham
decided to talk.

So you sent Hicks
to silence him.

And after that failed,
Morris to silence Hicks.

Because if everybody who could
tie you to the cover up

was dead,
then no one can be flipped

to testify against you.

- You know you're not part
of the government anymore.

You're in my world now.

And out here,
the rules are different.

I'd really prefer if we could
remain friendly competitors.

I'm sure I'll be
seeing you around.

- So he just gets to walk away?

- What about Graham's
testimony?

- It's not enough.
Without Hicks,

Ramsey has plausible
deniability.

- And Graham still
goes to prison.

But with a reduced sentence
for cooperating.

- He'll be all right.

- I haven't had
much of a chance.

know that our jobs will
always involve risk.

But pushing people away doesn't
always help protect them.

Ultimately,
