spanning nine time zones,

and extending across the entirety
of Northern Asia

and much of Eastern Europe.

And it's from the capital city of Moscow

that teams embark on the seventh leg
of our race around the world.

Daniel and Ryan chose
to take an hour's head start

instead of playing their Salvage Pass.

So they will depart first, at 9:49 a.m.

"Fly to Lisbon, Portugal"!

Teams must now fly
4,000 kilometers west to Lisbon.

The capital of Portugal
is one of the oldest cities in the world,

dating back to the fifth century AD.

Once there, they will make their way
to the fortified Belém Tower.

We're going to Portugal.

Now John and Murray have been eliminated,
it's definitely a different vibe.

We are playing a completely distinctive
game to the way the boys were playing.

It's more about, how do we ensure
that we get ahead at the right point?

If that means forming an alliance
to get us ahead, that's what we'll do.

a lot of the teams
are a lot more optimistic now.

involving Lisbon's
famous medieval maze of streets.

Their choice? Wet or Dry.

The Portuguese street festival of Águeda

sees thousands of colored umbrellas
suspended in the air.

In Wet, teams must count the number
of yellow umbrellas above them.

Once they have counted
the number correctly,

they will receive their next clue.

In Dry, teams must collect
a washing basket

from one of five local ladies
in the town square.

They must then search a washing line
to find a piece of clothing

marked with their lady's name.

Only when they have returned
the correct clothing to its owner

will they be given their next clue.
