NARRATOR: It's the morning of the fourth dinner party,

and, after an eventful week meeting each other's friends and family,

overnight, there's been a dramatic development.

One of the experiment's strongest couples

are waking up in separate apartments.

(MUSIC CONTINUES)

I felt anxious waking up this morning,

um, a little bit on edge and just sad.

Mm.

So, last night, Paul and I were coming back

from a day out with Rhi and Jeff in the Uber.

We had a really good day together, enjoying the sun.

Very happy, lovey-dovey.

And, in the Uber, I was putting on music and requests and stuff,

and I put on a song and I said a comment

that I've slept with this rapper, and, um...

I didn't think it was awkward.

Paul and I, we've spoken about our pasts

and we've been open about that,

so I didn't think there was an issue at all.

We just all laughed because, obviously, everyone has a history,

you know, before the experiment.

And, honestly, I just thought it was like a passing comment.

Like, say, if Jeff had hooked up with Dua Lipa once and he was like,

"Do you know that I hooked up with Dua Lipa when I was 25?"

I'd be like, "Holy shit, well done. That's actually insane."

We sort of laughed and thought nothing of it.

And then we get home and Paul's really upset.

CARINA: Paul obviously got offended by it,

and got...felt a bit disrespected in how I said it.

He definitely, yeah, wasn't his usual self.

and I, like, instantly was like, "I'm so sorry."

to spend her relationship time at the commitment ceremony

throwing shade on somebody else, which is just disgusting.

And I think that's a crime against humanity.
