So, there are projects like un chin

and Raising Victor Vargas, right?

You feel like family. like

Plenty of years ago,

you and I did something together.

You were in the cover of un chin.

And ever since,

we became friends

and now we're like family.

Talk to me about how a project

like Raising Victor Vargas

has impacted you and how it has

become some sort of family for you.

Yeah, well, you know, with Raising

Victor Vargas,

we actually did the short film.

Okay.

And, you know, I was 15 and

Victor was 14.

And

I remember rehearsing

in Pete Solid, which is the creator.

Okay.

We will go to his house and rehearse.

Him and his wife,

which they're still together.

Hello.

We were so young

and they were so young that

it was only natural for us to

kind of just like create

this relationship, you know, this family dynamic.

And ever since, we've just been like supporting each other.

And I still get along with Melanie, still my best friend

and Victor and Victor as well. Crystal, Kevin, Wolfrey.

We still talk every day.

Wow. Every day.

Oh, yes.

So, and you, how did that happen, right?

Is it because you guys were so young

or you feel like there was a connection

magically that that Pete created?

How does that environment?

Yeah. I think it's a little bit of a lot of things.

I think being so young and doing something to that level

was definitely something that we felt comfort in each other.

Right.

And, you know, me and Melanie were already best friends.

And Victor, we went to high school together.

and I welcomed him into high school

because I was already there a year prior.

And we just kind of like we've been doing this life thing together

and it's been really beautiful and more to come, you know.

Yeah. I mean, definitely. We definitely have to bring back that cool.

Some how you guys got to do something.

Yeah. Yeah.

We're working on it.

And now you have been helping with the cun chin

you know, making this come to life.

I really, really appreciate everything everything that you do.

Tell me anything that nobody knows about that project.

I know that you mentioned to me that even when you were reading

that there was very little script, right?

Oh, yeah. We basically improvised, but it was a well-rehearsed improvisation.

OK.

So it's not like we just showed up and we were acting.

You know, Pete definitely took some time, like certain days.

And we will go into a room and we will start acting and we were justimprovised and try different things.

And whatever was good, we brought it into the day of shoot.

And that's what it was.

So, yeah, we never looked at a script.

We never read any line,

which was really beautiful. And I really appreciate that because

I basically appreciate anything that's

out of the ordinary and so like conventional.

So which is something else that I feel like

we could have had more of, like in this,

like after all these years, yes, that people would start

trying different ways to do things.

nnn But

yeah, I really appreciated that.

And it felt it felt magical. Right. Yeah.

Very natural. I feel like I know a character like

Victor and a character like yours.

And it was so much like every summer

that Ispent in the Bronx. Right.

But anyway, thank you, Judy, for giving me.

after raising Victor Vargas,

un Chin has been my has been my second home

That's right. That's right.

The closest I ever been to having the same kind of energy

because it's beautiful, it's pure and it's expansion.

Right. It's expansion.
