It was amazing to see.

And even more
paranormal footage you have to see...

During the mid-19th century,

discoveries of gold
around California and Nevada

led to an influx
of eager prospectors from all over the world,

hoping to strike it rich.

Unfortunately, thousands
of these hopefuls...

died in the process,

resulting in what many believe
to be wide swaths

of paranormally
active locales.

Recently, one
paranormal investigator

explored an abandoned home
in one of these former gold rush towns,

and seemed to connect
with the souls...

living inside.

June 22nd, 2022,
near Dayton, Nevada.

Paranormal investigator
Patrick McQueary

is exploring an abandoned home

that sits near something
called the Sutro Tunnel.

This house right behind me,
the old Schultz house...

I'm Patrick McQueary,
and this is my video.

The tunnel is
like four miles long.

And they actually have
the tunnel there that they're reconstructing, like, redoing.

The tunnel
originally served neighboring gold mines

with ventilation and drainage,

until the gold dried up
and everyone left,

essentially creating
a ghost town.

Who's up there?

It sounds like it's coming
from this room.

And as Patrick
explores the house that lies within it...

I'm just here to talk to you,
hear your story.

What the...
What the hell was that?

"Ghost town"
appears to be an apt description.

I was told
that the family that lived there

experienced just
an enormous amount of energy

and all kinds of activity.

And sure enough,
as Patrick continues to try to communicate

with whatever may be here,

something makes an appearance.

Do you want me
to go upstairs?

Oh, I heard something
that sounded like a...

like....

Do you see it?

Watch very closely.

When Patrick
points in the direction of the home's second floor,

a shadow leans
over the banister in his direction.

It was like that darker
kind of shadowy figure.

I did not see that
in the moment.

I think that was
one of the ones that actually got pointed out

after I had posted the video.

Unlike a shadow figure anomaly
that we've seen in the past,

it doesn't seem like
it retreats quickly.

Instead, if that's what it is,
it is lingering there

as if it's really trying
to get a good look of this guy.

A lot of times,
I can debunk that stuff, and I'll put it in there.

I'll be like, "Oh, yeah,
that... that could be this. That could be that."

In that instance,
I remember being like, "I don't know what that is."

I can't explain it...

and it's terrifying.

And though
he doesn't see that shadow in the moment,

what happens next...

is impossible to miss.

Did you move
one of these chairs?

It's that, like,
metal old-school, like, wheel on that hardwood.

There's no way that was
anything other than one of those chairs moving.

Whoa.

That was, like, rolling
like an inch or two or more,

so that was
very terrifying as well.

I swear it sounded like
one of these moved.

Yeah. That's almost
exactly what I heard.

There's obviously
objects in this house.

Objects can fall over,
doors can blow open,

windows can bang
and things like that.

But chairs don't just

rearrange themselves
on their own.

That is not
the effect of wind.

That would mean someone
or something

coming through
and messing with them.

Which it apparently
continues to do.

Okay.

It feels like I'm playing
hide-and-go-seek right now.

Do you want me to come
and try and find you?

Ooh. Okay.

Patrick plays along
and heads upstairs...

Are you back here?

How did that bird die?

...into something
even more terrifying.

Is that your bird?

I heard your voice.

Listen again.

When Patrick
asks whether or not the dead bird on the floor

belongs to anyone
in the home...

Is that your bird?

To literally hear
something that sounds not that far away

just go, "Yes,"
I'm like "Oh, hell, no."

That's crazy.

That was
really an amazing capture right there.

When you get
these clear responses to your questions,

you're dealing with
something that's intelligent.

Which makes sense,

considering where
the home is located.

There is
the Stone Tape Theory within the paranormal,

which is especially applicable
to mining towns such as Sutro,

and the theory has it
that in areas

with especially
rich deposits of minerals,

paranormal activity
can effectively be recorded

by the ground, by the stones.

It's almost like
a tape recorder

that is then
played back on a loop.

Is that what we are seeing
here within the Schultz house,

and in the Sutro region?

Possibly.

But for Patrick, as
an experienced investigator,

whatever the reason,

the home is
in his upper echelon.

The Schultz house
absolutely, probably top five

of places
I've ever investigated.

And, I mean, at this time,
like I've done

over 2,000 investigations,

and I mean,
it's definitely top five.

a man on a walk
with his young son...

eavesdrops on a Bigfoot.

The hallmarks
of a potential Bigfoot sighting...

are fairly well known.

Usually, someone spots

a hairy, tall
bipedal creature,

often shy,

living in reclusivity
deep in the woods.

But a more obscure detail
that has emerged

in some alleged Sasquatch
encounters around the world...

is the way it communicates,

namely by using its own
mysterious language.

That's what
one man in Ohio believes he may have captured

when he spotted
a tall, hairy bipedal creature

ripping a tree apart...

while seemingly
talking up a storm.

January 2011,
at the Salt Fork State Park near Lore City, Ohio.

Jeff Patterson is walking
with his young son,

searching for a place
to go sledding.

But as they approach
a more densely-wooded area,

things take a turn...
for the harrowing.

Holy crap.

My name is Jeff Patterson,
and this is my video.

We started hearing
a bunch of sticks breaking.

And the stick-breaking
seemed like it was right in front of us,

and my son was only
11 years old at the time.

And I didn't want to go
straight up in there or...

run in on who
or whatever it was.

You know, we were trying
to circle around behind it,

the tree-breaking, to see
what it might have been.

I caught a glimpse of
not one but two figures walking up the trail.

And I'm thinking,
"It's got to be people."

But as Jeff
and his son get closer and closer to the sounds,

they begin to realize...

...it's definitely
not people.

Watch closely.

Watch again,
zoomed in.

As a mysterious figure,
dark and tall,

seems to aggressively
and effortlessly

tug at a large tree
in the distance.

But I could see
the thing close up.

Standing right there,
I was only, like, maybe 30, 35 feet from this thing.

Maybe 40 feet.

And he went over
to that tree and started shaking this tree down.

It's probably
about 40 feet tall, about 5 inches in diameter.

It just started shaking it.

And you can see
the thing swaying back and forth up at the top.

And you can hear
the roots cracking in this thing.

And I grabbed him
by the arm and we...

ran back to the car
in the parking lot.

Finally safe,

the reality of the situation
sinks in.

Jeff and his son
may have just seen Bigfoot.

I love,
love, love this one.

The ability and the strength
to actually do what this thing is doing...

is incredible.

You can make out
what appears to be

a bipedal shape,
quite dark in color,

tugging on
the branch of a tree,

and it seems
like this action would require

an immense amount of strength,

more strength
than what is available

to the typical human.

If I was with my kids
and a Bigfoot came by,

I would feel just
as panicked as he was,

because now,
you're thinking about it

as more so
protecting your child, protecting your cub.

But beyond the size
and strength of the figure,

or Jeff's fear in the moment,

perhaps what is
most surprising about the encounter

are the sounds he hears.

Listen closely.

I've tried
to figure it out myself.

I can't figure out
what it's saying.

I've taken clips
of just the voice

and sent it around
to different people,

asking them if they
can tell what it is.

Some people say
it sounds Native American,

but nobody can figure out
what it's saying.

I don't speak Bigfoot,
but I have heard that a lot of people

believe they have
their own language,

sort of like a human language,
but not really.

I don't know
what it would sound like, but this is really weird.

The talking you hear
is something that not many people are familiar with.

It sounds like...
almost like singing

and very equivalent
to a Native American language.

It's called the Sierra sounds.

Ron Morehead and Al Berry
captured something in Northern California.

Not many people
have captured it,

but they've heard
talking in the woods

between several individuals.

And perhaps
not surprising is it's also been seemingly heard...

at Salt Fork State Park.

This footage was
recorded in an area

that is known
for Bigfoot sightings.

In fact, USA Today ranked
the Salt Fork State Park

as one of
the "squatchiest" places in the United States.

Which is
perhaps a little too "squatchy" for Jeff.

It did kind of startle me
and scared me a little bit,

especially with my son there,

and that's
another place that,

well, we don't go back to.

Considering
his capture, it's probably for the best.

a man in South Africa
sees an apparition...

...reflected on
his television screen.

Every human in the world, whether we like it or not,

experiences stress
almost every day.

But for some, that stress

means a little more than
an elevated heart rate.

Because for a very select few,

it could mean that,
for a brief moment,

your body both
exudes a type of force,

while also...

attracting
paranormal activity.

Which is what
may have happened to one man in South Africa

who, while working from home,
alone on his couch,

looked at the reflection
on his television screen

and saw something...

...staring back at him.

May 2022,
in Pretoria, South Africa.

Pieter de Klerk is alone
and working from home,

filing his
end-of-month reports

with his TV on
as background noise.

But when his TV
turns itself off due to inactivity,

Pieter notices something
both bizarre and alarming.

So, he picks up his phone,

turns the TV back on,

and while recording,

explains what just happened.

I was just at home,
alone, working,

and my TV switched off
in sleep mode.

Is it just me
or is somebody sitting next to me on my freaking couch?

Next to Pieter's reflection,
which is here on the left,

a figure, immobile
and transparent,

seems to be
sitting next to him on the couch,

even though nothing is there.

Because I can see myself,
and it looks like

somebody else
is sitting next to me.

Then I switched the off and on
and it kept on staying there for quite a while.

Afterwards, I was
quite freaked out about it,

and it keeps on lingering
in the back of your mind

that there was something
in your house, or something you can't explain.

Wow. I mean,
there's clearly something sitting next to him,

and you can see
that it is of...

more of, like,
a darker shadow of nature,

and it doesn't seem to have

the exact human form
as he does, if that makes any sense.

I think it's interesting
that we didn't see anything on the couch next to him,

and he doesn't see anything
with his naked eye.

And yet, we see
this image of something or somebody sitting there

in the reflection
on the TV screen.

I don't really
believe that much in this type of stuff.

But seeing is believing.

That was actually
the funny part about it.

It's like...
It felt like it's okay with me knowing it's there.

And if it is okay
with that, it could mean that it's a certain type of ghost.

What kind of really
struck me about how close this thing was...

You know, when you see
that reflection in the TV,

it almost looks like
the person is...

cuddled up to him,
just so close, you know?

And so, right away,
as an investigator, you think,

"Okay, are we...
are we witnessing proof of an attachment?

Or could it be
a family member?"

You know, somebody
that was so close to him

that this just felt natural
to be that close.

This could have
been a guardian angel sitting next to me.

I don't-- You never know.

Maybe. And the fact
that this guardian angel, or whatever it is,

appeared by way
of the television

may have something
to do with Pieter's particular history

with electricity.

The lights
would go out... a lot.

And my...
It was in my bedroom.

When I drive
through the streetlights,

my lights will go off
when I'm angry or whatever, or under stress.

Sometimes people have their
own supernatural abilities,

you know,
and if he's got

a very high
magnetic field around him

that gets amplified
in times of stress or anger,

I mean, this is exactly
the type of stuff that I'm telling people

like, causes haunts
at a location.

Doesn't necessarily have to be
someone that died there.

It could literally be
coming from the individual.

He might have
this ability to connect

with electromagnetic energy
that he doesn't understand yet.

But it also kind of
turns you into like a beacon

for other paranormal things
like spirits and entities.

So that could be
what's going on with him.

Whatever the reason,

the figure has yet to make
another appearance...

but the incident has
permanently opened Pieter's mind...

to the possibility that
there's more to this world

than we know about.

Do I think there is definitely something else out there?

Yes.

There's too many people
seeing stuff, and hearing stuff at night

which they can't explain.

So I definitely think
there must be something supernatural or spiritual

that is definitely around us.

where numerous people
have lived out their final days

are breeding grounds
for spiritual activity.

And further,
if one of those facilities

has a history of neglect,
abuse and mistreatment...

the activity present
could potentially be even more intense.

One man in England
tested this theory

when he investigated
an abandoned care home

with a reportedly
dark past.

And what
he caught on camera...

is terrifying.

...have just arrived at Elm Royd Care Home,

a nursing facility
that was shut down in 2017

after numerous
safety violations.

We have come to a location

which is
an abandoned care home,

which is known to have
paranormal activity, from talking, cries,

footsteps, guys,
knocks and bangs.

Danny and Ernie are there

to confirm those claims
for themselves.

The entrance is nice and easy for this place tonight.

I'm Danny Smith,
and this is my video.

You can feel,
like, the intensity

in the rooms when you're going
in different places.

It was owned by
a private sector company,

um, before it was
closed down as it failed

unannounced visits,
through negligence to the patients that lived there.

And some of the patients
actually said it was like living in a prison.

This is unfortunately
a very common story where a nursing home,

the conditions
are like a prison,

and instead of
the people there

living out their final days
in comfort,

they're living it
in fear and despair.

And these things leave a mark.

So even after
the building ceases to be a nursing home,

that energy lingers.

Danny and Ernie
split up to explore different parts of the building.

And as Danny investigates
the abandoned living quarters,

he comes face-to-face

with a manifestation

of that lingering energy.

as Danny pans around the room.

In the lower-right windowpane,

a face
which Danny doesn't see

until he reviews
the footage later.

When I looked back at the
footage, I was shocked.

At first,
it appears to be just a reflection in the window.

But if you freeze it
and look closer,

it's almost like
a ghostly face

looking in
through the pane of glass.

It looked to me like some kind
of greenish demon-like figure.

I mean,
you can actually see the eyes.

Because he's
unaware of the ghostly apparition at the time,

Danny continues to explore
and breaks out a spirit box

in hopes of engaging
with any energies

that might be present.

I've come here tonight
to communicate with you.

I'm here looking for answers
to what happened here.

Moments later...

What on earth
caused that?

If that was you who
did that to that door then, can you do it again?

Oh,.

He's getting that hit
saying "hand" just after he got a name

and asking the door
to close again.

There is no question at all
that this is intelligent communication.

There is a spirit
right in front of Danny in that facility.

It was amazing to see.

I tried... I tried
to debunk it.

We're trying to figure out
what could have caused this.

...the way it was positioned
between the radiator and the edge of the door.

I was sort of gobsmacked,

and I don't think
it was long after that

we decided to
end the investigation.

Danny and Ernie
leave the Elm Royd Care Home,

confident that they have
made contact

with some of the now-deceased
former residents.

It is a bit upsetting
knowing that they're still there

and they've not managed
to cross over or go where they need to be.

Is there some
un-sort-of-finished business

there for them
that they're trying to do?

they get their unfinished business settled soon

so they can move on...

On the Strip
in Las Vegas, Nevada.

It's 5:30 a.m.,

and Jason and Amanda Ray
are preparing to head to the airport after a wedding.

But as they pack
their suitcases,

Jason looks out the window

for one last glimpse
at Sin City

as the dawn breaks,
and catches sight of something bizarre.

In the distance,
an object hovering over a nearby hotel,

and both Jason and Amanda
are baffled.

Jesus. That is weird.

Hello, my name is Jason Ray.

- My name is Amanda Ray.
- And this is our video.

Looking out,
I see this object.

My mind is trying
to make sense of it.

Because I'm going down
the multiple-choice options of

"Is it this? Is it that?"
and it just was too weird.

It was in
three or four parts, really.

The topmost part
was the cube shape itself.

Everything else seemed
to kind of stay stationary,

but the cube seemed to swivel
and turn and articulate.

And sometimes,
from the distance,

it would even like, look like
it was bending down.

Almost like a head
or something.

You can tell the people
who shot this have never seen anything like it before.

And I have to say
that I haven't either.

Although it's hanging
suspended in the sky,

it's not necessarily
motionless.

It seems to be spinning
like a top or a corkscrew.

So, what is it?

I considered balloons, drones,
even a helicopter.

But unless this is some sort
of controlled blimp,

the problem is, you have to
have the payload balance exactly right.

Otherwise, a helium balloon,

a weather balloon is going
to skyrocket up into the air

or it's going to descend
and come down to the ground.

So how does it just
kind of park itself and stay for several minutes?

I don't know.

I immediately sent the video to one of my friends

who's a meteorologist, just to
rule out the possibility of

maybe it was
some sort of weather monitoring device or drone

and he was like,
"This is absolutely no weather technology at all."

So that really legitimized
the experience to us as well.

So if it's not a balloon, drone, helicopter,

or some sort of
weather-monitoring device, then what is it?

This thing...

This anomaly has
what to me was

almost an organic feel.
Not alive, per se.

I don't think this is like
a creature necessarily floating in the sky.

But maybe something
that isn't a craft.

Like maybe something
that is part of a craft

or a came out of a craft
or something

that used to be alive
and is no longer.

Maybe
it's out there doing recon.

It's gathering information.

It's reading information
about altitude,

about what's below it,
about mapping the area.

Maybe what resources we have,
what could be under our soil?

Whatever it is,
what better place to observe mankind

than Vegas?

When you fly into Vegas, you see nothing.

And then all of a sudden,

there's this huge
ball of light that is the city of Vegas.

Imagine what that might be
for something that's kind of coming to this planet,

wondering, "What is this?"

Certainly, it is a spectacle,

and spectacle
draws spectators.

Look at it.
It's spinning.

Oh, my God! Whoa!
You're right.

For Jason and Amanda,

this possible recon mission
was a perfect end to their visit.

When you see things like this,

it just kind of
re-instills in you

that there's so much out there
that's yet to be discovered

or to be figured out.

And it just kind of fills you
with wonder and excitement

to wonder like,
"My goodness."

You know, "What... what is
going on in our skies right now?"

Coming up,

a woman in China is woken up

by a ghost in her living room.

Discovering
a stranger in one's home

is terrifying.

Even more so

when you live alone.

And while one might think

the immediate
assistance of police could alleviate that fear...

it does little good
if the intruder in question...

is a ghost.

That's what
might have happened to one woman in China.

And she has
the home security footage

to prove it.

February 29th, 2024,
in Chongqing, China.

It's 10:17 p.m.,

and a woman who lives alone

is falling asleep
in her bed...

when her home security alarm
suddenly goes off.

But when she jolts out of bed,
she finds no intruders.

So she checks her home
surveillance videos,

and sees this.

Watch again as a figure,
black and see-through,

crosses right to left
across her living room

and into her kitchen,

before disappearing for good.

Freaked out,
the woman calls police.

And when they find
no sign of an intruder,

the woman is understandably
even more freaked out.

This is
such a bizarre capture.

I mean, it is clearly
a humanoid figure.

It seems to be
the right height and stature to be a person,

but it's not a fully-formed
human figure.

It's more of
a sweeping, wispy mist.

It looks like the head
is moving side-to-side,

like an undulating serpent
going through the room.

And then you have
the whole torso and everything which actually is missing.

I don't think this could be
the afterburner image

of a person who walked
through the room

because the path it takes
is directly through furniture.

A person
obviously can't do that.

I feel like we're seeing
like, a slightly-manifested

paranormal being crossing
right in front of the camera.

It looks like things
I've personally captured on investigations,

so I go kind of by that,
by my own experience.

But if this is,
in fact, something paranormal,

where is it coming from?

And why is it here?

Perhaps somebody
that used to live in this home

once upon a time that is
just kind of going about their business,

back when
things were different.

Furniture might not have been
exactly where it is today,

and we're kind of just seeing
that imprint playing out

and actually seeing it
caught on camera.

If that's the case,
then perhaps this capture,

while initially terrifying
for the woman, is actually more of a gift

made possible
by her home security system.

It's around us all the time,
but we're not necessarily looking all the time.

But, you know,
what is looking all the time are surveillance systems.

These cameras are capable
of seeing into light spectrums

that the human eye
can't convey.

A lot of these lenses
are made out of a really fine and refined crystal quartz,

which has the ability
to bend light.

And so I think that paired
with the ability to see

into light spectrums
that we cannot see, using lenses

created out of things
that could expand electromagnetic energy,

is the reason why we're
picking up a lot of this spirit video and photography.

And as our
technology progresses,

our ability to peek
into this other world

whenever we want to
might be just around the corner.

It's just glowingly obvious

that there's so much happening
around us all the time.

And the the wonder
and the magic that's happening around us

if we just take a few moments

to sit and be silent
and watch.

I bet you
we would be mesmerized

to see what's interacting
with us on a daily basis.

What should
you do in the event

you witness
something paranormal?

Is somebody
sitting next to me on my freaking couch?

Here are some tips

Check your footage.

And then...

Trust that
what you're seeing really is something paranormal.
