you need to identify your threats.

- I thought the Banker was going to be my greatest

adversary on this island.

And now, I'm realizing that these people are crazy town.

- You spent this entire season looking for the villain,

and the only place you never looked was in the mirror.

- Whoever makes it to that final case

will need to be one powerhouse of a player.

I've always been, like, this big personality.

They're just here playing my game.

- So how do you feel about sitting next to

a future multi-millionaire?

- Not as scared as I probably should be.

Being a teacher and running a classroom is pretty much

where I learned to play this game.

You have to learn how to manipulate

in the best way possible to get what

you want out of an audience.

That's what I do every day.

- Hopefully, there's no snakes on this boat,

only on the island.

I'm analyzing who I'm gonna work with,

who I want to take out, because the game for me

already started.

- What do you do for a living?

- I teach yoga, and I am a life coach.

- I could tell there was an energy about you.

- A Namaste energy.

I won "Survivor" by bringing a group of really badass women

together and creating a women's alliance called

the Black Widow Brigade.

And we voted off the guys one by one.

- I'm here to just blow fairy dust in people's eyes

so that they can't imagine life without me.

- Finally arriving to the Banker's island.

I hear a lot of waves crashing.

I hear birds that are not what I'm familiar with.

I'm familiar with the New York pigeon.

It's very lush. It's very green.

Like, money's on the line, and you can smell it--

[sniffs] In the air.

It's hot, but I brought two setting sprays with me,

so I should be fine.

And I did get a Brazilian blow-out before I got here.

- Welcome, guests, to the Banker's private island...

[cheering]

Where the weather can change as fast as your fortunes.

- Yep.

- I am Joe Manganiello,

the Banker's trusted games master.

- We know.

- How many of you did your homework, you studied?

- Oh, yeah. - Good.

Now throw it away.

- Oh. - Yikes.

- Because just when you think you have the answers,

the Banker changes the questions.

The Banker is back with a vengeance.

So prepare to face the most dramatic and unpredictable

twists ever.

- Of course.

- The Banker doesn't waste any time, does he?

- You'll compete for cases in daily excursions,

and every night someone will battle the Banker

in a pulse-pounding game of "Deal or No Deal"...

- Yeah. - Yeah.

- Adding money to the final case--

a prize pot that keeps growing until the finale,

where one of you will play for what could be the biggest prize

in "Deal or No Deal" history.

- All right.

That's what I want to hear.

- But brace yourselves.

In this first excursion, the Banker wants to test just

what kind of a player you are.

Behold, the Banker's pyramid scheme.

- What?

- Comprised of nearly $5 million worth of cases,

each of its three sides represents

a different strategy.

And the path you take to get there decides

which cases you may choose.

On side one, you'll find the highest value cases,

going all the way up to $1 million.

But getting there is tough,

as you'll need to navigate a slippery

and rocky path over the water.

Now, side two, the medium value cases.

Get to those through a jungle path,

which is longer but safer.

And on side three, you guessed it,

the red cases are back with even greater risks

and bigger rewards. - Mm-hmm.

- All right. - One contains the steal.

One contains a new mechanic, the swap,

and a third contains the lowest value in the game.

And as always, they are unmarked,

so only the biggest risk takers should plan to take

the zip line to side three.

- A zip line.

[squeals]

- Holy cow.

- The guest with the highest value case

at the end of the game will earn safety and the power

to select who will face the Banker

in this season's first game

of "Deal or No Deal" at the Temple.

[cheering] - All right.

- OK.

- A lot of power.

- Now, I did say this was the Banker's pyramid scheme, right?

- Yeah, yeah.

- So here's where the scheming comes in.

The path you take not only determines

the cases you may choose.

It also determines your team.

- Oh, my God. Come on.

- Oh, boy.

- And in the end, the team with the lowest combined case value

will all be at risk of facing the Banker at the Temple.

And they will be the only ones

that will be in danger of elimination.

The Banker has no patience for losing strategies, my friends.

So choose your path and your schemes wisely.

- I'll meet you all on the other side.

- Yeah, I'm going red. I'm not playing scared.

Playing scared isn't good.

You have to play with confidence.

That's the only way you're gonna come out

of this thing with the win.

This is gonna be very telling.

Back home in Wisconsin, I'm used to working

under pressure as a private chef.

I do that all the time.

Am I the Baker's ultimate opponent?

Of course, I am.

It's the northern accent, eh.

I'm trying--I'm trying to clean it up for you.

'cause we've got a steal and a swap.

If I go for the high cases, chances are

the red cases are gonna switch with me,

and that puts me at risk too.

So although I don't want to go with the safest route

because it's not as impressive to the Banker,

I think this is the best calculated move.

- No, I don't wanna do the zip line.

I want to go the safe path.

I'm trying to float under the radar a little bit.

I think I have the underdog mentality.

People look at me, they think I'm small,

and I can't do some of the things I'm capable of doing.

And I'm gonna use that to my advantage.

- Who's doing rocks?

- We're doing rocks. - Rock.

- So I know I'm gonna be a physical threat in this game.

There's no hiding the fact that I'm a beast.

I have been a pageant queen.

I've been a WWE wrestler.

I've been a model. I've been a volleyball player.

It's like, yo, girl's got shoulders, and they're broad.

I say we all get up there, then we pick our cases.

'Cause what we're trying to do is offset the red.

- You're 100% correct.

But I also want people to know I'm here to be

a good teammate in the future.

The Banker wants to force us to rely on people we just met.

And it kind of shakes me a little bit.

I like to have the freedom to connect

with people in the moment.

CK, why'd you choose the safe path?

- Honestly, I wanted to go for the red cases,

but this is kind of where I landed to be a team player.

I want to build trust, so when I've got to bluff,

or I've got to do what I got to do, I'm believable.

No one should know that I'm a poker player.

I don't even want people knowing I'm a corporate banker,

and I'm good at math.

- Parvati, why'd you choose the rocky path?

- I chose the rocky path because I wanted the best shot

at contributing the most amount of money

to the team's pot.

And it was a risk, totally a risk.

But I didn't want to take the red cases

'cause that felt a little too slippery for right now.

- No one's making any mention

about Parvati being on "Survivor."

Her nickname is the Black Widow.

She's played on "Survivor" three times,

which is insane to me.

- I felt like I was a valuable asset on the rocks.

- Yeah, I knew I could do that.

- Parvati is going to be a huge threat on the island.

She is the GOAT of "Survivor."

And those "Survivor" players can be really problematic.

is at risk for elimination.

And someone from that team will be the first guest

of the season to face the Banker in a game

of "Deal or No Deal" at the Temple.

they will choose someone else from the losing team

to be eliminated.

then it is they who will be eliminated.

in their 70s that came in with their own grandkids,

they saw how they treated them.

And they wanted me to have something just like that.

It started off as babysitting, but they fell in love with me,

and it just turned into me just living with them.

I'm a firm believer that everything

happens for a reason.
