Hey guys, first and foremost a huge welcome

and thank you for signing up to my

course, The Complete Wedding Photographer.

Whether you've shot one wedding or 500 I

genuinely hope that this course brings you value

and gives you a fresh mindset or approach

to shooting weddings and running a successful business.

The content within this course is the culmination

and result of me being an established UK

and destination wedding photographer over the past 8

years.

I've gone from charging £400 a wedding to

currently averaging over £6,000 a booking, shooting

weddings throughout the UK, Italy, France, Spain, Denmark,

Greece, Ibiza, the list just goes on and

I'm here to share every experience and lesson

I've picked up along the way.

For those of you at the very start

of that journey, this course will be invaluable

as I'll be sharing my mistakes and victories

in an open and honest way.

It may take some time to digest and

work through but it will be worth it,

I hope.

If you're an experienced photographer there will be

plenty of ideas and practices that I have

no doubt you'll already know.

But I always believe we can get better,

no one is the finished article, I'm certainly

not.

So hopefully this course will give you an

insight into fine tuning your business and provide

you with some ideas on how to take

your brand to the next level.

With that in mind, please recognise that there

will be a huge variety of differing levels

of ability on this course and I'm going

to try my best to ensure that no

one, regardless of their ability, feels excluded.

So please don't be offended if I sound

patronising at any point, I'm just trying to

make sure that nothing is left to guesswork.

That said, I would hope that if you're

on this course you do have a basic

understanding of photography, you know how to shoot

in manual mode and understand exposing a frame.

If not, then I'd advise you access the

Beginner's Photography course from my site where I

walk you through basic camera settings and principles

before continuing with this course.

Obviously there will be some technical information throughout

this course but I'm not someone who obsesses

over camera spec, I'm always keen to simplify

any process within my business and the same

applies to my teaching, I try to be

as clear and concise as possible without being

overwhelming or confusing.

Regardless of your current situation or background and

experience, this course is designed to teach you

the fundamentals every wedding photographer should know and

follow.

But I want this course to challenge you,

I want it to make you ask questions

of yourself and your business.

It might be your process, your brand, your

website or systems.

I want you to question them all as

we work through each section.

Do you have knowledge gaps?

Are those elements of your business doing what

they should?

Are they working hard and efficiently?

And are they producing results?

Because it's not until you ask those questions

that you can recognise the weaknesses in your

business and in turn focus your efforts to

bridge those gaps and to drive up standards.

At the end of the day we're all

here to learn right?

We're all here to become better photographers, better

businesses, better creatives.

You've shown up, you're here.

There are no questions or topics off limits.

I'd hope that anyone who has previously attended

one of my workshops would agree I am

as honest and as open as they come.

There is no daft question in the search

for knowledge here.
