mosques,

when frequented
by the faithful,

these religious buildings

are filled with positive
spiritual energy.

But what happens

if they are abandoned

and fall into disrepair?

Some believe, the energy
absorbed into the walls

will protect the sites
for years,

while others think,
the lack of use

can leave a spiritual vacuum

ripe for a takeover

by a darker,
more dangerous energy.

Just ask one explorer in Ohio

who not only came face
to face with that darkness,

he captured it on camera.

Cleveland, Ohio.

Built in 1903,

the once glorious,
Nativity Catholic Church

has sat abandoned

for decades,

which is precisely
why Christopher Hill

wants to explore it.

My name is Christopher Hill,

and this is my video.

I mainly went there

for the architecture
of the church.

It has a lot of pretty
murals and paintings

still on the wall
and on the ceiling.

The whole point of me

going there was to try to
maybe capture some of that,

you know, before
it's completely destroyed.

And though
he's heard rumors

that the church
may be haunted,

Christopher
is not looking for ghosts.

I heard a lot
about spooky things going on at that church,

but at the time I...

I didn't believe in ghosts.

But that doesn't
mean, he's not going to find them.

Whether he knows it or not.

Did you catch that?

Watch again.

As the camera
just catches a board

moving along the floor

all by itself.

It's not until Christopher

posts the video
to social media

that he even sees
the strange activity.

Multiple viewers
asked me if I saw the board sliding across the ground.

So the fact that it happened
right in front of my face

and I didn't notice it,
that really freaked me out.

You see a piece of wood
that almost looks like a T-square

laying down
on the right of the frame.

And as he's walking past it,
it moves out of his way,

almost like it's intentionally
moving out of his way.

That wood

could come
from a piece of furniture within that space

that has a lot of spiritual
energy attachment to it.

Was it part of a pew

or some kind of prayer table?

Was it part of
a confessional stand?

And that's not the only bizarre thing he finds.

Listen closely.

A disembodied voice
seems to whisper...

leave.

I know at the time,
I did not hear that.

I... I would have noticed
someone saying leave.

But that is nothing

compared
to what happens when Christopher

heads down to the basement.

I immediately
got a creepy vibe

and on top of that,
it was extremely cold,

you could see my breath.

Once again,

his camera captures something

his eyes do not.

But this time,

whatever it is,

it's standing right
in front of him.

Watch again.

As Christopher pans
across the basement,

a dark, menacing figure

can be seen standing
motionless

next to a large brick column.

I replayed it
over and over,

and I like to debunk things,

so I tried to debunk it all.
Maybe this was my shadow

being cast, since it has
a head and shoulders,

but there was no way.

It's almost like
a black hole of a person.

There's... there's no
definition whatsoever

other than the clear outline
of a human being.

What I noticed were
two things right away.

The hood like figure
that this resembled

and this black
was blacker than black

in regards to the shadow
people that are often seen.

So who
or what could this be?

And is it connected
to the church's pious past?

This is a spot

where people experienced
strong emotions.

From joy, at a baptism

to suffering grief
and loss during funerals.

It seems likely to me

that the history
of this church

could, in theory,
lay the groundwork

for paranormal activity.

Having been
raised Catholic,

I have always
had this deep-seated belief

that if a house of worship
was abandoned or left empty,

that eventually something

would come in
to take its place.

This is an abandoned church,

a place that was filled
with people

with spiritual,
religious intent

and that's now empty
and missing and gone.

So what's gonna move in

something
that maybe might exist,

in opposition
to those earlier presences.

Whatever has moved in,

Christopher
believes the message it was sending him

is crystal clear.

I felt like this spirit really
wanted me to leave and it showed itself.

Thank God, at the time,
I didn't see it,

'cause I would have
ran out that church.

But that's not
going to stop him

from going back again.

I'm gonna go
back at night,

I'm gonna bring a lot more
cameras and equipment.

Hopefully, I can communicate
to the spirit

and, uh, maybe even help it,
maybe help it,

you know,
move on to the next life.

in response

When I first
saw this clip,

it almost brought me to tears.

I mean,
more than it is spooky,

more than it highlights
the presence of the paranormal,

it's heartbreaking,

it highlights the presence
of grief and loss.

Hearing the pain in her voice,
you really, I... I feel it.

I feel it. I don't know anyone
who could watch this video

and not feel
some sort of emotion for her

and for the situation.
It's tragic.

The television set
doesn't seem to be going

on and off at...
at random times.

It... it seems instead
to be responding

to her communications with it,

um, as if she is making
comments or asking questions,

and... and in response the...

the television
set is reacting.

There's my remote,

they're not touching
each other or anything.

how could this be happening?

I miss you so much.

I think
that when the death of a loved one

really disrupts
someone's life,

sometimes the dead
will come back

and let you know
that they're okay

so that the living can move on

and progress and get out
of this emotional rut.

It's one of the most
commonly reported

paranormal experiences
people have,

is someone
who's recently deceased,

appearing to them,
communicating with them,

giving
some sort of signal that says,

"Hey, this isn't just anyone,
it's me."

But if it is a signal from beyond,

why send it through a TV?

The fact
that the television was an object

that her boyfriend had played
with in the past,

he would mess
with the settings,

play with the television.

It just goes to show
that this is something that he would've done in life

and so therefore makes
sense for him to do in death,

so that she knows
that he's in fact, communicating with her.

what he was trying to say.

that it was him saying,

"Hey, I still got you,
I'm okay, more or less."

And the experience

has changed her life forever.

There is life out there

that we may not see

and don't know about

and just always

home from work,

when he spots something
unusual in the sky.

So unusual, he pulls over.

That's in the sky
right now, everybody.

What the are those?

Watch,
as two large, black objects

with flowing tentacle
like appendages

appear to swim
through the sky...

That's in the sky here,
I'll zoom out.

...as if they are alive.

Like I'm in my car,
just chilling.

What the are those?

Explain.

My name is Josh Stoner,

and I am indeed the one
that filmed the video.

It was a little bit
frightening at first,

'cause it was something
that I've never seen before.

It seemed so big, in fact,

that it literally
caught my eye

a full mile away
from where I was.

And so as I drove
closer and closer,

it was the movement
of the larger one

that really caught
me off guard.

You know, it really

kind of brought whatever it
was in the sky to life for me.

What the
are those things?

Are these things kites?

They don't look like
any kites I've ever seen.

They also look to be flying,
uh, too high to be kites.

Not only that, uh,
there are two of them

that really seem to be
interacting with each other,

flying in different directions
than one another.

And we see them
changing direction,

moving back and forth
so that those long streamers

whip in different directions,

whatever direction
the wind is blowing in.

These are objects moving

opposite it
or of their own volition.

That's in the sky
right now, everybody.

It was like watching
a squid in the ocean,

you know, where a squid can
like, move and stay stagnant

while it's like,
moving its limbs.

I've never seen

a biological UFO

look so similar
to something that we've seen

terrestrially, like,

squids, octopus
that we have in our oceans.

So then, what exactly are we seeing here?

A UFO

or some kind of sky cryptid?

This does not look like
something normal,

it does look like
something alive, like a creature up in the sky.

This could possibly be

some kind of
biological creatures

that live very high up
in the atmosphere,

and they might only
come down closer to Earth

when the atmospheric
conditions are right.

A lot of people believe
that these things

are living things that live
in the air and the water.

They certainly
don't look like UFOs

in the terms of crafts like,

hard disks or whatever.

These seem to be almost
flesh and blood,

sort of like
a flying cephalopod.

Whether it's a saucer
or a cigar

or an orb or a triangle,

we look at that
and say, "That's a ship."

But something like this

that looks inherently organic,

we tend not to
assume alien craft

but of course,

why wouldn't an alien craft

be inherently
organic in nature?

Why not?

Indeed.

But for his part,

Josh thinks
it could be something

even more mind-blowing,

an extraterrestrial,

minus the craft.

What if out there,

there's creatures that live
in space, right?

Like, it's an expanding,
never-ending universe.

So maybe there's

hundreds of billions
of creatures out there

that don't need
oxygen to survive,

don't need certain
living conditions

that we would normally need.

Say, they don't have
a respiratory system,

they wouldn't need
to breathe, right?

Anything is possible.

That's in the sky
right now, everybody.

That's in the sky.

Whatever these things are.

They've certainly changed

the way Josh views the world.

I definitely
catch myself like,

keeping my eyes more peeled.

I might be going out there
searching for more

paranormal activity-creatures

to record and potentially
get my life

threatened by.

And believe it or not,

sightings like this,

may be just the beginning.

Within the paranormal
community

and amongst a large

field of researchers,

there is
an emerging consensus,

that we are approaching
a paradigm shift,

that things are about to get
a whole lot weirder.

What the are those?

Coming up,

a man at a gym is attacked

and dragged by a ghost.

They say,
working out is good for the body,

mind, and spirit.

But what kind of spirit
exactly

are they talking about?

For one gym-goer
in South America,

it may have been...

the paranormal kind,

because when he decided
to hit the gym,

the gym apparently,

decided to hit back.

June 2021,

Columbia, South America.

A man is on the second floor
of a gym

preparing to workout.

And he has the whole area
to himself,

or so he thinks.

Watch closely.

As two CCTV cameras

from opposite ends of the room

capture some
bizarre activity.

Do you see it?

These suspension-training
ropes are swinging

on their own,

each in different directions.

The gym-goer
doesn't seem to be bothered

by the swinging ropes.

But he is bothered by this.

A medicine ball
rolling all by itself.

Freaked out,

the man decides to pack up
his stuff and leave.

But as he heads
for the doorway...

Watch again in slow motion

as some unseen force

seems to flip the man
on his back,

grab his leg and forcefully

drag him across the floor.

Terrified, the man scrambles
to free himself,

runs from the room
without his things

and goes straight to
the main desk.

Desperately trying to explain
what happened

to a startled employee.

So...

what exactly
did we just see here?

This clip

really is like an exercise,

pun actually not intended,
in escalation.

We see someone working out,

we see what looks like

maybe some hanging equipment
swinging off to the side,

no evident reason
why it would be swinging.

Then we see a ball
start rolling

and we get a pretty
clear view of it.

Nothing touched that ball,
and after that,

it just goes off the rails.

I mean,
he gathers up his stuff,

looks like he's getting
ready to leave,

and he's literally like,
flipped over.

We see
he has a leg up in the air

like someone that we can't see
is wrestling him

or holding him down
or dragging him around the room.

It seems impossible
that he... he could be

moving across the floor

like that under his own power.

There seems to be
an unseen force

that's actually dragging him
as he fights against it.

This is dramatic stuff.

This poor guy looks like
he's being thrown to the ground

and tossed
about like a rag doll.

And if he is being
dragged away,

I can't help but wonder

where is he being dragged to?

Where, indeed?

So...

what kind of force

could knock a man
to the ground

and then

try to drag him somewhere?

Every location has history.

Plus, this is a place
where people are coming and going all the time,

and they might be carrying

their own attachments
with them.

Additionally, consider
that as they are working out,

they are quite literally

expelling energy.

Maybe some of that energy

sticks around.

This definitely seems
to be violent

I don't know
if it's attention-getting

or if there is any kind of
real malice involved

as far as the... the spirit

being angry and wanting
to hurt somebody.

It's entirely possible,

as with any individual
sort of building.

The presence that's there

is someone who's spent
a lot of time there,

someone who's strongly
identified with this place,

I mean, the attack that we see

could easily be some
form of jujitsu or martial arts

where this guy gets
thrown down

and his legs being held up.

This could be the spirit of
a deceased gym patron

who just kinda still wants
to have a workout-buddy.

We may never
know who or what

was present in
the gym that day.

But we do know this,

if the man who was attacked

ever steps foot in
that gym again,

he might wanna consider...

taking a few martial arts
classes of his own.

An affair
so emotionally fraught,

it was one inspiration

behind Fitzgerald's
renowned work,

The Great Gatsby.

But could it also be
strong enough

to cause a haunting?

Just ask a woman from Illinois

who may have captured
a shocking image

of the woman
Fitzgerald loved...

and lost.

2018,

Lake Forest, Illinois.

For years, Kristie Ranieri
and her husband

have strolled by this historic
neighborhood home,

often taking photos
as they do.

Then, one day,

one of those photos

chills them to the bone.

I'm Kristie Ranieri,
and I took the photo.

It was just another day
of walking the property.

I've been walking the estate
and documenting

her home for about 12 years.

It had been run down.

The people that bought it

have great plans for it,
to bring it back to its glory.

Built in 1905,

the mansion

was once the home
of F. Scott Fitzgerald's first love,

Ginevra King,

a youthful affair
from 1915 to 1917,

which came to an end...

when she married
a wealthy suitor.

Fitzgerald was so heartbroken,

Ginevra became the inspiration

for the infamous
Daisy Buchanan

in his classic,
The Great Gatsby.

When Ginevra met
F. Scott Fitzgerald,

it was love at first sight

and infatuation
at first sight,

and it really became
a story for the ages.

On this day,
like every other,

Kristie snaps a few photos
of the now-abandoned home

and doesn't think too
much more about it...

until she and her husband

review the photos later...

and see something remarkable.

My husband said,

"Honey, come in here, there's
something you have to see."

And he showed me
the picture and, uh,

I just... my mouth dropped

and we got chills.

It was undeniably a face

in the window.

Look closely...

at what appears to be

a woman with an ashen,
white face...

gazing forlornly
out a third-storey window.

The odd image certainly
spooks the couple,

and compels Kristie

to do a little more research

on Ginevra King.

When I, uh, saw

the photo of, "the ghost",

I'm like, "I've gotta look
at more pictures of Ginevra King."

And it was amazing

because the picture
was so close in similarity.

It's striking how much it's...

looks like her.

The forehead,
everything was... it was her, it was shocking.

And so, it's probably

a ghost of her in her late
60s I would say, early 70s,

and it's very plain to see.

So,
could this really be the ghost

of Ginevra King?

It looks kind of like

a very black and white,

high-contrast profile
of a woman's face

looking downwards,

almost like she's looking
out the window

down at the first level.

And you could see

the apparition looked like
an older version of King,

but it still had
all the same features of her,

which I thought
was really interesting.

When you see
that anguish-looking face

in the window, it's...
it's really not hard

to imagine that,
that's the image of her standing there.

This was a woman
who was never really happy

and perhaps threw away her
one chance at happiness

when she jilted
Scott Fitzgerald.

The idea
that a deceased woman

made famous
by the stories that grew out

of her life experiences

might be retained
in that space,

might be given enough energy
by our collective attention

to manifest, to appear.
That makes sense.

Especially,

if Ginevra had some deep,

unresolved feelings

related to her affair
with Fitzgerald.

After her romance
with Scott Fitzgerald

she went on to become
a prominent socialite.

She appeared
on the cover of Town and Country magazine,

and she married
a wealthy capitalist.

But she was never happy,
and the marriage ended in divorce.

I think when you have

unrequited love
or restricted love

or forbidden love in
a lifelong scenario,

when a person passes away

without allowing themselves

to experience that love,

those energies come back

to recreate that romance.

Something like,
long-standing,

unrequited love
and longing absolutely

can imprint itself

to a building, a space,
a region.

And it's intriguing to think

that such intense humanity
took place here

that it never can leave.

And perhaps,

just as her spirit lives
on in this old home,

maybe it also lives on

in The Great Gatsby.

I do think even
when it comes to a novel,

perhaps immortalizing

a person by creating
this work of fiction,

maybe there is some
sort of energy

that manifests
as a result of it.

I think she's waiting for the party again.

She was the center
of attention at one time

and forgotten
about for a very long time.,

and now

I think she's ready
to be back in it.

defies the laws of physics.

Of all recent
UFO sightings,

there is one
uniquely-shaped craft,

which keeps reappearing...

Damn, look at that.

sure what it is.

It's a cylindrical-shaped, wingless white craft...

It's like a cigar shape.

...that some ufologists have dubbed,

the Tic Tac UFO.

I don't see
wings on it.

And it's made yet
another appearance,

this time in the wide-open
skies

of Australia.

Well,
it's a plane surely. No.

Where is its wings?

Sydney, Australia.

Aldo Cassisi
and his friend Peter Ryan,

are working on their
cars in the driveway,

when they spot something
odd in the sky.

Both immediately
begin to film.

It's got a vapor
trail thing on it.

A glowing,
white cylindrical object

is cruising over their homes.

Peter shoots it
from one angle...

It's a plane, surely. No.

Where is its wings?

...Aldo from another.

And even though
this cigar-shaped craft

appears to be missing,
a critical component for flight.

It's got no wings. Whatever the it is.

It's somehow able
to move through the sky

with remarkable
force and speed.

It's up high.

So,
what are they looking at?

Hi, my name is Aldo Cassisi,

and I have videoed
the UFO over Sydney.

That afternoon,
we were both working on the cars,

and I happened to look up

and I see this unusual plane,
basically without wings.

There you go,
beyond the cloud.

Are they hidden or is a...
in a... in a different position where maybe...

maybe the sun's hidden it
and you're not seeing wings?

But no, it wasn't anything
like that at all.

What we are seeing here

is a smooth, white,
oblong object

that resembles a capsule
or a Tic Tac breath mint...

that is traveling
at high speeds without any wings

or any discernible
means of propulsion.

How is it staying aloft?

Where is the lift coming from?
Where is the resistance?

Where's the thrust

of an engine
or something behind it?

But no, it's just

a cylinder-shaped object.

We do see
what looks like

a vapor trail or a contrail,

but we don't hear any noise,

we don't see any
engines or windows.

It's just this this, uh,

this thin cylindrical object
moving through the sky.

It's definitely
not a helicopter, uh, it's not a drone.

Uh, certainly not sky lanterns
or balloons or anything like that.

It doesn't seem to have wings,
so it's not a plane.

So that leaves
a lot of open questions

as to what it might be.

Aldo has the same questions.

In fact, the only thing
he knows for certain

is that he's seen something
just like this before.

I've seen something similar

back in December it was 2018,

at a velocity of just,

I can't explain,
it was just so fast.

Knowing
that this same kind of object,

this Tic Tac style UFO

has appeared before
in this same location

suddenly gives us
a little bit more

to be going on with.
This isn't necessarily a singularity.

Whatever this thing is doing,

whatever its purpose
or function might be,

it's been doing
it for a while.

We're getting
more and more of these unique

shapes, these Tic Tac UFOs,

which are becoming
way more commonplace

in these past few years than
ever before in our history.

Whatever this object is,

Aldo is just thrilled

that he caught it on camera.

Not only did I get to see it,

but I got to capture it,

and, uh,
it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

It's a plane, surely. No.
