to be under some kind of intelligent control,

like somebody
might be controlling it from the inside.

A family in Texas adopts a ghost child.

Where our house is,
it's actually an old burial site

and it so happens
it's for children.

Is a garment factory in Japan haunted by a former employee?

This is a machine turning on,

being used as the operator
would run it when they were alive.

And even more
paranormal footage you have to see...

...to believe.

If you're lucky enough...

...to work somewhere
you love...

...with people
you enjoy being around...

...and it lasts
for much of your adult life...

...it's very possible
that the intense professional energies

that you
put into that workspace

will connect you
with it forever.

Case in point,

a beloved employee
of a small company in Japan

was apparently
still clocking in

after 23 years of service...

...even though
she'd been dead...

...for nearly a year.

December 2020, Ehime, Japan.

A garment factory owner
named Kengo

notices some items
out of place

when he opens up
the shop one morning.

So, he reviews
the security camera footage from the night before...

...and is stunned
by what he sees.

Watch as a mannequin
rolls across the office floor

maneuvering around
a set of drawers and a desk...

...all by itself.

Kengo, who asked
that we hide his identity...

...is freaked out.

Nothing more creepy
to see an object move,

but to see something
like a mannequin,

something that's human-like
move across the floor

by no means, whatsoever,
that are visible

is definitely
a creepy thing to see.

And that's not
the only creepy thing

Kengo sees on the footage.

Watch, on another night,

as fabric flies off
some shelves.

Then a garment basket
slowly rolls across the floor.

But perhaps most disturbing
is what is caught one night in the sewing area.

Do you see it?

Look closely...

...as this sewing machine...

...turns on
and runs by itself.

Here we are in a silent,
quiet, dark factory room...

...and you see
the needle start going

and it looks like
this sewing machine is operating

by some kind of unseen force.

This is a machine turning on,

a sewing machine running
as the operator would run it when they were alive.

Desperate
for an explanation...

...Kengo
turns to the employees

of this small
family-owned business...

...and gets
a chilling response.

The employee who worked there for 23 years

had died just a year earlier

and it's her sewing machine
that's running on its own...

...and her favorite mannequin
rolling across the floor.

There's an incredibly direct connection here

between the paranormal
activity that we're seeing

and the specific individual
who died.

These are the things that she was using

and the fact that
this activity seems to start

when she left this earth,
I think that's who this is.

But if it is the spirit of this employee...

...why return to work?

Often hauntings
are just the result

of a spirit doing
repetitive actions they'd performed in life

and, uh, if that's true,

then you could
certainly understand

why that might be
going on here.

To have spent
almost a quarter of a century

in this one place
doing your job,

being recognized
as a long-time worker with a great attitude,

it's hard to really think
of a better place to end up spending eternity

than somewhere
that made you happy,

somewhere you felt useful
and competent and cheerful.

Or maybe she's just trying
to send a message to her old friends.

To determine
what is going on here,

I think that they should try
to establish communication,

try to engage and talk
with her and find out what she might want.

Which is just what Kengo would like to do.

I would speak to her
as if she was in the room with us

because she probably is,

and ask her to do more,
ask her to do specific things

and see if those
specific things that you asked for are done.

Whatever happens next,

Kengo is just grateful
his old friend returned.

...home to a Civil War ghost?

On July 21st, 1861,

the first major land battle
of the Civil War took place.

It was known as
the First Battle of Bull Run

or the Battle
of First Manassas

and resulted
in nearly 5,000 casualties.

One of whom
was an 84-year-old civilian

who lived on the property,
named Judith Carter Henry.

Today the Henry House
has been rebuilt and is part of a national park

and also, legend has it,
still home to the ghost of Mrs. Henry.

Just ask a family from Alabama
who visited the battlefield nearly 20 years ago

and caught this
mysterious figure.

July 2003,

on the Manassas battlefield
in Virginia...

...history buff Jim Tucker
and his family are on vacation visiting this historic site.

I'm Lauren Tucker.

This is my dad, Jim Tucker,
and we're the ones who filmed the video.

We're on vacation,
it's July, it's very hot and I have my family there.

They're not as interested
as I am in battlefield and military history.

It's a hobby of mine
and has been for a very long time.

The First Battle of Manassas
was the first major battle in the Civil War.

And it was fought right where Jim is filming,

at what is known as
the Henry House,

which was
stripped of its paint a few years after Jim's visit.

Tragically, during the battle,

an 84-year-old civilian
named Judith Henry

was killed after a cannonball
was fired into her bedroom.

I've always thought
of Mrs. Henry dying

as part of maybe
loss of innocents of our country.

Jim attempts to illustrate how the event took place

using his video camera.

I'm wanting to show
here's the position of the Henry House

in relation
to where the two sides are firing at each other.

They were firing toward the Union brigade...

Watch closely.

...Cannon brigade, which was next to the old Henry House

Did you catch that? Watch again.

As the camera captures
what appears to be

a lone woman
walking along the battlefield

wearing a long white dress
and bonnet in the blazing summer heat.

As Jim pans back,

the camera catches
the mysterious woman again...

...and here's where
it gets truly bizarre.

No one in the family
sees the woman

until they get back home
and replay the footage.

My daughter's like,
"Look at that lady,"

and we started slowing it down
and it was unusual.

The Tuckers are blown away...

...especially because
of what was happening at the site that day,

or rather
what wasn't happening.

When we got there,
the park ranger announced to us,

"Oh, we're sorry, we're not,
you know, having any reenactments today."

So, that's what made it,
you know, even more shocking when we watched the video back

'cause we knew, you know,
we remembered that nobody was there that day.

I think there were,
like, 12 people and six of those 12 were us.

So, then, if not an actor or another tourist,

who did they just see?

It's definitely a woman
in period clothing.

I would say
she would look to be maybe in her mid-20s, mid-30s.

She's got a long, long dress

that seemed that would be
very, very hot to be wearing in the summer.

She's got a big hat on

and, uh, she just seems to be
looking down and walking.

Now, on any other day
I think most of us would say that's a person,

there's clearly
a historic reenactment going on,

but the people
who took the footage

make it clear there was not
any sort of reenactment going on.

There, in fact, wasn't a woman
walking along that fence line when they shot that footage.

So, that right there
puts this into the realm of the supernatural

and we're left to say,
"Okay, so who was it?"

Perhaps the location of the Henry family cemetery

gives us a clue.

Behind the house
there's a iron fence

in area that's actually
the graves of Mrs. Henry,

her son and daughter
were also buried there.

This sighting took place
near the grave of a Mrs. Henry

as well as the graves
of her son and daughter.

Could this be connected
to that person?

Could this be Mrs. Henry?

This house has been rebuilt and refurbished

and it's now memorialized
by her and her family who lived there.

And so, those who have died
in the house

now have that space
to be remembered in

and that energy gets
called into those walls again.

So, I think that there is
a big possibility

that Judith Henry
is, you know, haunting the grounds.

Jim thinks so too

and he believes
there is a reason

he is the one
who captured her.

If I were Mrs. Henry
and I had the capability to come back

and show myself to somebody,

somebody that's
paying tribute to my story,

that might be
the place I pick.

They go there and they think about the Henry family,

thinking about Mrs. Henry
and the awful death she experienced.

If you're reminiscing
about that,

you are literally manifesting
this apparition to happen

and maybe you don't see it
with your own eyes,

but you're just lucky enough
to capture it on camera

because of that
crystal little lens

that can see this type
of energy better than we can.

Whatever the reason,

Jim is just grateful
to have captured what he did

and is hoping
it serves a greater purpose.

I just think if this came together

as a thank you
for caring about history,

maybe we will learn
some things from history

that help us do better
from now on.

have just arrived home
from the store when she discovers this...

...a toy tractor
distinctly out of place.

Thinking it might be some
local kids horsing around,

Lupe checks
her security footage

and what she sees
is mind blowing.

as the small toy tractor

pedals away from the wall

around the parked truck,

pauses, then starts again,

turning away
from another truck,

before coming to a stop.

How is this possible?

My name is Lupe Elizondo
and I own this video.

When I pulled up
into my driveway,

the tractor was in the spot
where my husband parked his truck.

So, I told my daughter,
"Why'd you put it there?"

And she said,
"I didn't put it there, Mom."

I go into my app
and scroll through,

and as I'm scrolling through
I just see the tractor move on its own.

I remember playing it
on my phone several times

to see if I really was seeing
what I was seeing.

I wasn't scared,
but I definitely was like,

"Uh-oh," like,
"What is going on?"

So, in this clip
we see quite clearly

a child's toy tractor
move on its own

and I might be
inclined to think, you know, maybe the wind blew,

maybe an animal
that we couldn't see moved past it initially...

...but then it keeps going.

The pedals are turning,
the handlebars are being steered,

so that it doesn't just
roll in a straight line

like it might
if the wind is blowing it.

If it were wind,
if it were any other sort of motion,

maybe if gravity
were pulling it down an incline,

there would have to be enough
force to make it start moving

and once it goes, all right,
then inertia would take over, but it doesn't do that,

it stops. It stops fully.

And then almost as if whoever
or whatever was on it decides, "I'm gonna go that way."

It changes direction
and zigzags across the courtyard.

It almost seems like somebody
is sitting on this thing riding it.

It definitely looks like
there's some kind of,

I hate to say this,
but it looks like some kind of

ghostly child
riding this thing.

Lupe thinks so too.

So, she decides to look
into the history of her home and the town.

And what she learns
is deeply disturbing.

We started
asking questions then.

Where our house is,
it's actually an old burial site

and it so happens
that it's for children.

In the early 20th century,
a lot of the children in the United States

were really susceptible
to illnesses

like scarlet fever,
yellow fever,

smallpox, things like that

and we were seeing
our youth in this era dying in droves.

So, a lot of the times
you'll find that these whole neighborhoods

were built on sites
where, yeah, you would have children burial sites there.

All they did was
remove the headstones but not the bodies.

And amazingly,

the children's cemetery
isn't the only potential source of the activity.

A friend of mine told me
that where our house sits,

it actually used to be
a trail for, like, wagons back in the day.

Apparently, the area Eldorado,

this area where
these homes are built,

was part of the wagon trail
when the West was being settled,

which was a brutal
and a rough road these people literally had to travel

and people got sick
and died along the way.

If we are looking at an actual burial place for children

and we know
that many of the victims of the difficult treks

that pioneers
made were children,

that seems
to up the possibility

that there might be
not one but several ghostly child presences here

who might just be delighted
to find themselves with companionship again.

Maybe.

Or could it be something
much more terrifying?

When people believe they're
encountering a child ghost, they let their guard down.

They might even
invite it home with them.

But there is the old saying
that the devil comes to us in pleasing shapes.

She might think
that she's dealing with an innocent child ghost,

but you never know for sure.

It could be something
very different and very dark.

Thus far, Lupe and her family

feel no negative energy
in or around the house.

My kids don't feel fear.
I don't feel fear. My husband doesn't feel fear.

I feel like it's just kids
that still might think

that they're living
and they just see toys and they wanna have fun.

And Lupe
has no intention of putting an end to their good time.

They were just children
who were taken too early or taken right on time.

I think they're actually
just trying to play.

by a terrifying creature.

Usually when a ghost
or apparition appears...

...it's in an area
that seems to make sense...

...like a room
they used to frequent or their favorite chair...

...but there are those times
when something otherworldly

will appear in a place
that seems illogical...

...like inside
a kitchen cabinet...

...or hanging upside down
in a doorway.

In these cases,
there are those who believe

that what we are seeing
is not a ghost in our space...

...but rather two separate
dimensions intersecting for a brief moment.

Which is what may have been
happening in Bolivia

when a man
filming himself on his phone suddenly captured this...

filming a music video on a cell phone

when someone or something
makes a guest appearance.

Watch closely.

Did you see it?

Watch again.

As a grayish childlike face
peeks out from behind the dresser.

Andy catches sight of it
in the screen of his phone

and jumps up to investigate,
but finds nothing.

Hi, my name is Andy Salces
and I shot this video.

We have a clear shot
from above and in front of the dresser

and we see just the edge
of what looks like a forehead.

We get a sense of maybe
some pale grayish skin,

what looks to be maybe
the start of an eye

as it peers around the corner
and then pulls back really fast.

The stringy black hair,
the really white face,

you only see, like,
a very sliver of the face,

but when you pause
on the video,

you can see
it is very clearly someone's face.

This scary face
makes the video freaky,

but what makes it compelling
is the reaction of the man.

He's just lying on the bed
filming himself...

...and then he sees it.

He's stunned
and it almost takes a beat before he goes to investigate.

That is believable to me.

And what makes this capture even more believable

is the incredibly tight space
that this face popped out from.

If you look down on the floor, there's no subsequent shadow,

you don't see any hands,
you don't see a knee,

you don't see
anything crouching, just this head.

This creature
reminds me of no other creature I've ever read about

that looks like this,
that could be that skinny

to fit behind a dresser
like that and then be totally gone.

There was no space for a human body.

Even if it was
the smallest little human,

a baby couldn't even fit
within that space.

So, if not a human...

...then what exactly
are we seeing here?

And why is it hiding
behind a dresser?

You know,
how you hear those stories

of people living
in other people's attics or basements or crawl spaces.

I imagine it's, like,
the same with spirits

in that we're all occupying
the same space,

but they don't want
to cross paths with you

because they don't want you
to know that they are there.

We live in a layered dimensional space

and so,
in our dimensional reality

sometimes we'll come
into, like, this little fringe

where we can see
other dimensional realities

and so, let's say a spirit
lives on another plane of existence,

there'll be, like,
little pockets of moments

where they'll be able
to kind of perceive us in a little snippet of time.

Sometimes you just have
to hope

that your planes
are close enough

to communicate
with each other.

Unless, of course,
it's something you don't want to communicate with.

My immediate thought
is this guy has a pishtaco in his house.

Pishtacos are pale skinned
vampiric-like creatures seen in the Andes,

not far
from where this was filmed.

And what makes them so gross

is that they suck the fat
out of living humans.

Terrifying.

For his part, Andy thinks
that whatever it is,

it's more on the friendly side
and he looks forward to seeing it again.

at 30,000 feet...

...spots what appears to be a UFO.

Commercial airline pilots
are trained to be on the lookout

for anything that might
interfere with the operation of their craft like birds...

...high-flying drones...

...and, of course,
any other smaller aircraft

that may have inadvertently
veered off course.

In each of these situations,

there is a protocol
to ensure the safety of all on board.

But recently there is one
situation that some pilots have run into...

...for which there is
no official protocol.

And that's because
there is no official explanation...

...for a UFO.

January 2021,
somewhere in the skies over Pakistan.

A commercial airliner on route
from Karachi to Lahore

is cruising at an altitude
of 35,000 feet...

...but an hour into the trip,
the flight captain spots this...

A round white object

flying parallel
to the plane just a short distance away.

The crew in the cockpit

hold it in their sights
for as long as they can

and they are all baffled.

As the pilot says,

this does not look like
a balloon or another aircraft.

Rather,
it's circular in shape,

it strikes me
as somewhat metallic with this ring around it

and it appears
to be emitting a light from its center.

I can't tell if this is
some sort of alien craft

that's reflecting light

in a way that makes it
look like a light orb or an anomaly,

or is this the actual look
and structure of this UFO.

Could this be a portal
or is this just another ship,

or is it a natural phenomenon
that we haven't quite identified yet?

Whatever it is,
why so close to the plane?

There has long been a theory
amongst ufologists

that extraterrestrials
are out there

and they are
keeping an eye on us

and even watching our travels
through the skies.

If so, they may have been watching us for quite a while.

One year earlier,
a commercial pilot for Viva Air

is flying high above
Medellin, Colombia...

...when he spots
this at 30,000 feet.

A seemingly metallic geometrically shaped object

spinning through the air.

Once again the cockpit crew
keep it in their sights until it disappears.

It doesn't look like
any sort of object

I would expect to see up
in the sky along with a commercial plane.

It's dark, it's solid,

it's almost blockish

in a way that doesn't seem
like it would be particularly aerodynamic.

It seems to be
under some kind of intelligent control,

like somebody might be
controlling it from the inside.

It's not a plane
or a helicopter or a drone or anything like that.

So then, assuming again
it's not of this earth

and perhaps here to keep
an eye on us, why so obvious?

Maybe it's just a flyby
and a way of saying, "Howdy, partner."

Or what if
this is a perfect way

to reveal themselves
to an entire craft filled with eyewitnesses?

Well, if it's exposure they're looking for,

we're more than happy
to give it to them.

But whatever these crafts are,

one thing's for sure,

in-flight entertainment
has taken on a whole new meaning.

Who knows if whatever
is piloting this unknown aircraft

is looking at a 747 going,

"Wow, what is that
unidentified flying object I'm looking at?"

Maybe they're taking videos
of these planes.

So, yeah, it's gonna be great
when we figure this out.

Does this massive skeleton
prove sea monsters exist?

The mythical
Mediterranean Sea Dragon,

unlike the classic
fire-breathing European dragon,

didn't have wings
and lived mostly deep underwater.

It could grow
to nearly 200 feet long.

And when it did slither
onto land,

it devastated
entire herds of livestock

and would occasionally
eat a human whole.

Legend has it
that it was finally hunted to extinction

nearly 2,000 years ago.

But a recent discovery
not only suggests

these creatures
may have once been real,

they may also still be alive
and in the world today.

2017, Mediterranean Sea.

A researcher is conducting
a routine sweep

of the sea floor in water
that is over half a mile deep.

Because the pressure
at that depth is so intense,

he is using
a remotely-operated vehicle,

or ROV, with a deep-sea
camera attached.

At first there isn't
much to report...

...but then watch closely.

As the ROV's camera
suddenly captures

what looks like some large
vertebrae partially covered in silt.

And as the ROV
goes from one end of the remains to the other,

it becomes clear
that whatever this thing was, it was enormous.

Not believing
what he's seeing,

the researcher uses
the ROV's mechanical arm to try to take a sample.

But when he does...

...it immediately
disintegrates.

Wanting to avoid
any further damage

to what could be
the discovery of a lifetime, he backs off...

...and sends the video
to the only person he feels is qualified to analyze it...

My name's Deborah Hatswell
and I'm the owner of this video.

For the last 38 years,

I've been studying cases
of the paranormal,

cryptid creatures,
unexplained events,

missing people
and alien abductions

and I've spoken
to over 4,000 people

who've seen or experienced
the unexplained.

So, suffice it to say,

Deborah has seen
just about everything until now.

I was absolutely floored
when I saw it.

And no wonder.

The skeleton is estimated
to be 98 feet long,

similar in size
to an oarfish or a whale,

but its particular
bone structure

doesn't match up
with either of these.

We're looking
through this camera

at what appears to be
a long series of vertebrae.

At one end we have
something that looks, to my untrained eye,

to be a pelvis-like structure,

some sort of wider
or more spread out, maybe shoulder blades even.

I'm seeing something
that kind of suggests like it might be a mammal,

but then at the same time
I'm seeing something

that suggests
that it could be a serpent.

Baffled, Deborah shares the video with her network,

hoping to get a definitive ID
and receives plenty of educated guesses.

The main answers
that we got was a leviathan,

a hydra
which is a seven-headed beast, or the kraken of legend.

And those legends started
in this area, Rome, Greece, Portugal.

Stories of these creatures go back throughout history

and folklore
and religious beliefs.

and they might have
some validity to them.

Deborah believes they do...

...one in particular.

My favorite explanation for it
is the mystery water dragon

and there is a legend of them
in the Mediterranean.

Specifically,
a creature called the Mediterranean Sea Dragon

which is said to have existed
in the area

before being hunted
to extinction nearly 2,000 years ago.

They were said to come on land

and they would take sheep
and cattle and deer and goats

and it was one of the reasons
that they became extinct

because the villagers
would kill them.

And the legend
still exists today.

Anytime we can align newly discovered moments

of the archaeological record
with narrative legendary from the past,

we start to zero in
on potential real existence of things.

And assuming
by their condition

that these remains
are less than 2,000 years old,

could these dragons
still be around?

I 100% believe

that there are creatures,
massive, massive creatures in the ocean

that we haven't
discovered yet.

I do believe
in the possibility

that sea serpents
and dragons underwater exist.

I believe
that there's a possibility

that prehistoric creatures
are not truly extinct.

Although Deborah has yet to find a definitive answer,

one thing is certain...

...the possibility of monsters
living under the sea

may no longer
be a thing of fairytales.

What should you do
in the event you witness something paranormal?

Here are some tips
to get it all on camera.

Never stop recording,
even at 30,000 feet.

Trust that what you're seeing
really is otherworldly.

Check your footage
for anything unusual.
