your own energies
with somebody else's energies.

And even more
paranormal footage you have to see...

As many of us know,

there are certain people

who seem to attract
paranormal activity.

Whether they want to or not.

And when people like that

finally settle down
with someone

they may decide
it's best to share

that particular bit
of information with their partner.

But what happens
if that prospective partner

also attracts
paranormal activity?

That's the situation

with two people
in South Carolina.

having to deal

with each other's ghosts.

Before meeting online
and striking up a relationship,

Heather and Micheal
each had paranormal activity

happening in their homes.

And weren't so much scared
as intrigued by it.

But when they decide
to move in together

that activity
only gets more intense.

Because they believe

whatever entities
they were each dealing with

have decided
to move in together too.

Could swear
the lights were knocking and banging just a moment ago.

As evidence
by what Micheal captures on this night.

As the frame on the wall
inexplicably swings back and forth.

For both,
Micheal and Heather

activity like this
is simply par for the course.

When I came
this was moving.

- What?
- That. The pink thing.

- The pink thing?
- Yes.

And these are

Usually
when something's happening,

we can hear it at the moment
so then we start recording right then and there.

What the hell?
Keep hearing stuff.

Hello?

And by the time
we even get to that point, it's already stopped.

That's the weird phenomenon
about it, like,

anything that happens
it just automatically stops right when we get there.

Case in point.

This night
when Micheal and Heather are watching TV in bed.

Turn that down.

- What is that?
- I don't know.

Who's there?

Oh, my God!

Holy!

The kitchen
cabinets and drawers

have all, somehow,
opened on their own.

Oh, my God!

Holy!

On another night

they're woken up
by a disturbing sound.

- Wake up, wake up!
- What?

There's somebody
ringing the doorbell.

It's like two o'clock
in the morning.

But when Micheal
goes to see who it is...

Is anybody there?

I turned
the light on

and then there's nobody there,
like, absolutely nobody.

Shut and lock
the door. Lock the door.

There's no way
somebody ran off that fast.

There was no
logical explanation for it

cause there's no way
that someone could've been doing that,

like an actual person
or we would have saw them.

Is anybody there?

Now, why might
a spirit be doing this?

There are theories that some
of the darker elements

might conduct themselves
in this manner

to wear you down,
to make you tired,

to even make you
more susceptible to additional activity.

Hoping to avoid
something like that,

Heather and Micheal
try using a spirit board

to communicate with whatever
is causing all of this.

We're asking questions,
you know?

You know, "Who are you?"

And the question that we had
asked was, "Where are you?"

Oh, my God.
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye.

I don't wanna do this anymore.

And then right after
it said, "Here,"

something on the table
beside me fell off.

And then the thud upstairs.

I'm freaked out now.

Was that upstairs?

We went to go look
to see what it was.

Oh, my God.

- Oh, my God.

And that's when we heard
the footsteps running down the stairs.

And we were done.
We were like, "Okay, time to stop."

- Oh! No! Oh! Oh!
- Oh, my God.

We literally left that night
and didn't come back until a little bit later.

People
often think that

the best Ouija board responses
are long and elaborate

whole sentences that tell
the story of the ghost's life.

That's almost never the case.

Something as brief
but evocative as...

really carries
a lot of weight.

We know what that means,

there's something
in that space with them.

Something, but what?

Oh, my God.
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye.

I feel like maybe
there are multiple spirits haunting this location.

That's not just
one particular personality trying to reach out.

It could be
a number of spirits

and who knows, it seems
like they're all jockeying to be heard.

Given the things
that we're seeing

it seems to be
of the poltergeist type nature

wherein it's trying to one up
the last instance.

Who's there?

So, is that what this is?

Heather and Micheal's
individual entities...

Competing
for their attention.

Oh, my God!

I mean,
it can get really hairy

when you start bringing
in your own energies

with somebody else's energies.

Because it's like...

having pets, like,
they might get along, they might not.

You move them in together,
it could be disastrous,

or it could be harmonious.

And I've seen both sides
in that situation.

For now,
Micheal and Heather

are willing to hold that hope

for that harmonious phase
to kick in.

We haven't had anything
too bad happen to us yet,

as far as right now,
we're still just, you know,

trying to figure it out
what's happening,

why it's happening,
you know, things like that.

In the meantime,
they'd like to at least...

Unexplained lights...

Oh, did you see that?

Illuminate
a mountain side

in North Carolina.

Wow! Look at that.

For hundreds
of years in North Carolina

people have reported
seeing bizarre glowing lights

all around Brown Mountain

that come and go
from dusk until dawn

and vary in color and size.

Explanations vary,
but according to local lore

it might have to do
with the bloody battle

between the Catawba
and the Cherokee around 1,200 A.D.

When some of the warriors
never returned home,

Native American women

went searching for them
with torches.

Some say the lights
are their torches.

Others believe them
to be the spirits of those who perished.

Whatever it is,
one thing is for certain...

they're still there.

Wow! Look at that.

Near Morganton,
North Carolina.

Drew Jones is fascinated with
the Brown Mountain lights

and goes as often as he can
to look for them.

We are
at Wiseman's View

to hopefully see
the Brown Mountain lights.

He's been there
about 20 times.

And doesn't always see them.

But when he does

it's well-worth
the three hour drive from where he lives.

Here are just a few captures
from his collection.

My name is Drew,
and these are my videos.

There's one light
that always appears

whenever I see the lights.

Just to the right
of Table Rock,

over the tree line
hovering around.

Oh, did you see that?

I actually have
a nickname to that one, I call it "Old Faithful"

because
whenever I see the lights I always see that one.

Yeah, that's
my "Old Faithful."

It's compelling to me
that the lights are not static,

instead they're pulsing,
it seems like they're moving.

It's a natural assumption
to think that we're looking at something man-made.

Perhaps, lights from a house
or a passing car,

but that's not the case here

because there's no man-made
light source behind them.

Not up in those mountains.

And if you think
it just might be hikers

with flashlights, think again.

Sometimes,
you'll see them

going over the river
at the bottom of the valley

and frequently you'll see them

hovering around
over the tree line.

Oh, there's...
there's that one moving again.

I mean, you know,
hikers don't hover above the tree line.

There's not a trail up there
and it's not a road.

I'm not even sure
if it would be possible to get there.

I've seen one
sort of become two

and become three before.

There's two of them!

Oh, come on, you beauties.

Almost like
they're multiplying.

It's baffling and just
absolutely fascinating.

Oh, wow.

An equally fascinating video of the lights

was captured by Cindy Riley
in September 2016.

This is
Brown Mountain lights.

Oh, my God! It is flashing.

Look at that!

Oh, it is getting bright.
Oh, bright orange.

Another interesting aspect
of these particular lights

is that they're not uniform
in size or color.

Look,
it's turning orange, white,

I'm getting two and then one.

It's moving. Look at it move!

They flicker on and off,

they seem
to change their form,

they change their color.

These are things
that make it very difficult to explain away

as perhaps
caused by human beings.

It flashed.
It flashed.

Look at it! Look at it!
Oh, my goodness!

- It is moving.
- Wow!

Wow.

So, what exactly
are these lights?

And could the lack of a
definitive scientific answer

open up the possibility

to more paranormal
explanations?

Like the belief by some

that the lights are related
to the lost souls

of the Catawba-Cherokee battle

that happened so long ago.

Often times
when there's a supernatural regional phenomenon

that ties into the native lore
of that area

it's given extra weight
because what it tells us is,

"Okay, this isn't just
a contemporary phenomenon."

This is something
that people for centuries,

before modern electric lights,

before there was a railway,
before there were cars,

people were still reporting
this exact phenomenon

and that really lends
a lot of credibility to it.

Drew has his own theory.

Personally, I think
it's an electrical phenomenon

that science
hasn't quite figured out yet,

but I don't rule
any possibility out.

And that's a good thing

because the possibilities
are endless.

There is a whole lore

to this particular mountain
in North Carolina,

there's rumors that
people go there

to practice all forms of magic

and strange incantations

and there is witches
in the Brown Mountain, supposedly.

The Brown Mountain lights

have been associated
with elementals, with aliens, with Bigfoot creatures.

Whatever
you're inclined to believe,

Drew has one piece of advice.

I would just like
to encourage anyone

who is even mildly interested
in this sort of thing

to go out there,
go out in the field,

get your hands dirty,
start doing your own research

because it's just incredible
to stand there and observe

a rare phenomenon
that remains unexplained.

It's a really neat feeling
and one that I think

should be
on everyone's bucket list.

at one school in Mexico

where a teacher
left behind a legacy

not only did he die
inside one of the classrooms decades ago,

he's still roaming the halls.

an old public school

that's said to be haunted.

Staff and students
have reported hearing unexplained sounds

and seeing things being moved.

But most concerning
are the apparitions

of what they believe to be
a teacher named Mr. Magana.

Kriselle
and Melissa are at the school late one night,

hoping to capture
some evidence.

As a student's desk
rocks back and forth on its own.

Encouraged
by the activity

Kriselle and Melissa
move on to the library.

Where they immediately sense
a shift in the air.

The theory goes
when a spirit is trying to manifest,

it needs energy
and it needs to absorb energy.

And energy being heat,

once it takes that energy
out of the spot,

if you take the heat away,
you're gonna leave a cold spot.

And given
the sudden temperature drop,

Kriselle and Melissa
are on high alert for more activity.

As a workbook inexplicably...

slides a few inches.

To me the fact that
whenever they seem to be pointing that camera

on a certain object,
they're getting activity,

they're getting a response,
almost as if that spirit is responding

by moving that object whether
it's desks or those books.

I think we're dealing
with an intelligent haunting.

The book
does seem to symbolize,

"Hey, I'm trying
to communicate with you."

It may also simply be

that there's sort of
an untethered energy in this entire building

and as it moves around it
knocks into an unstable desk,

it makes a book
slide off another stack of glossy-covered books.

And that untethered energy

is about to show itself,

watch closely.

We're seeing a shadow person

that looks like a male
standing upright, walking down the hall.

And knowing the fact that
Magana died at this school,

one could only assume
that that's his ghost.

Feeling unwelcomed
by the spirit of Mr. Magana

or whatever
is inhabiting this school,

Kriselle and Melissa
call it a night.

But despite being
overwhelmed at the time,

Kriselle is already
considering a return visit.

When reaching out to the dead

it's always good
to mind your Ps and Qs,

because even though
they've crossed over to the other side

spirits were once people

and tend to react better

more ghosts with honey

investigator in Sweden

Malmo, Sweden.

It's around midnight
and Emil Kjellstrom

is alone in a cemetery
that dates back to 1890.

He's been here before,

and always has luck capturing
paranormal activity.

This is the oldest graveyard
here in Malmo, Sweden, where I live.

I always gets stuff here,
and it always creeps me out.

My name is Emil,
and this is my video.

I've actually being there
a couple of times before

and there is always voices,
and you can hear footsteps.

You just feel
like something is there.

As Emil walks
around the cemetery,

he introduces himself
to whatever spirits might be present.

Then he uses
a popular method

amongst paranormal
investigators.

Knocking.

I always try
to knock it at doors.

But the first door I came to,

I knocked
and didn't get the response

but then I tried
the other door.

Did you guys hear that?

I got like one solid knock,
so, that kinda, you know,

spooked me pretty hard
because I wasn't, eh...

you know, prepared for it.

During an investigation

you're ultimately trying
to establish communication

and you do that
though a series of calls and responses.

Now, when he is knocking
on the door

and he gets a knock back,

it does seem like we have
the opening salvo of a ghostly chat.

A few minutes later

whatever might be willing
to chat with Emil

makes it much more obvious.

When a streetlight suddenly...

Turns off
as he gets near it.

When I saw it shut down
I wanted to see if it was,

you know, something
intelligent, you know? If I could ask some questions

or to see if I could get it
to close the light

on, you know, command.

I think it was something
trying to show me that it was there.

Okay, guys, I...

I'm a little bit speechless
right now.

Well, you see nothing happens
with the lamp right now

and it hasn't done
since I was over by the lamp.

It is undeniably compelling
that that one streetlight

seems particularly responsive
to this particular individual.

But it also seems to react
to his prompting.

And the minute he moves away
from the light...

it just stays on
like it's supposed to.

And the activity
only gets more intense.

Watch closely.

I want to see
if I can get that knock

knocking one more time
because that would be awesome.

Did you catch that?

Watch.

As the shadow figure peeks
around the corner at Emil.

Then retreats.

Which Emil doesn't notice

until he reviews the footage
later at home.

That was insane.
I've never captured a shadow person before.

It kinda verifies the feelings
that something was there.

It's entirely possible
that what might be out here is an elemental spirit.

Maybe something
that is just curious

about his presence there
sizing him up,

trying to determine
what kind of a person he is, if he's a threat.

In many cultures
every cemetery is assigned a spirit guardian.

In Swedish folklore
that's the Kyrkogrim

or church grim.

The church grim appears
as a spectral black dog

that protects the graveyard
and keeps out vandals

or ne'er-do-wells
or even the devil himself.

But what if the notion
of a dog

emerged from something else?

Maybe from an entity
like this.

Could we indeed be looking
at footage of a church grim?

Perhaps.

But whatever it is
doesn't have to worry about Emil.

Like the good guest
he always is,

he doesn't overstay
his welcome

and leaves shortly after.

This is...

my most intense video
I've ever made.

This one particular night,

definitely made me
to believe in the paranormal

and I will never forget
the feeling

with the lights
that turn on and off.

It was a very scary experience
to witness on your own,

and... but it was worth it.

What kind of creature
is perching on this rooftop in Brazil?

The belief
in other worldly life

runs deep in South America.

They even have
their own version of Roswell.

It's called
the Varginha UFO Incident.

Where multiple eyewitnesses

claimed to have seen an UFO...

crash in 1996.

A few also reported seeing
a strange three to four foot tall creature

with a bulbous head
and large eyes.

And though there's
no official confirmation of the incident,

one man in Brazil may have
recently captured evidence

that suggests it happened.

And at least one
of those aliens...

might still be here.

April, 2020.

Parana, Brazil.

A man named Chris
is doing yard work

when something bizarre
on the roof

of his in-laws' house
next door catches his eye.

So he grabs his phone

and starts recording.

Watch as a small figure
with a large, round head,

perches on the roof.

Then dips out of view

only to reappear
moments later.

Chris is freaked out,

but finds the courage
to keep filming.

The creature ducks
out of sight again

and Chris hears a thud.

Then noises coming toward him.

Whatever was on the roof
seems to now be on the ground

and getting closer.

Chris panics and takes off
running down the street,

sure that what he just saw

is not anything
from this world.

I mean, that is
a classic alien if I've ever seen one.

The way that
this figure is shaped.

His head is
very bulbous and large,

in comparison
to the rest of the body,

which looks very frail
and skinny.

Uh, which is that description
of a grey alien,

which has been described
by UFO abductees

and people that have had
encounters with these beings.

I would be curious to hear

if there was any UFO sightings

that same night in the area.

If this was perhaps
an extraterrestrial

that got separated
from their group.

A scout perhaps,

someone just getting
the lay of the land

or maybe it was
a single pilot, single craft.

Could be,
and given the fact

that a UFO supposedly
crash-landed 25 years ago,

in Varginha, Brazil,

it would certainly make sense.

But, what would an alien
be doing on a roof?

Its limbs seem
to be thin.

Stick-like,
and the way it's perched on the roof is very predatory.

Like it's stalking something.
It's taking stock of everything around him

and it's choosing
the high ground to decide what to do next.

Which is
deeply unsettling.

Especially considering
how often Chris and his family

are in and around the house.

Either it's trying to get
into the house for some reason

or maybe it already lives
in the house

and it's just returning
to its little nook in the attic.

I don't know
which is more terrifying.

What actually scares me
the most about this is not just the fact that

this creature appeared
on this roof,

it's the fact that
we don't know where it went after this video.

It could still be
wandering around,

and we don't know
what its intensions are.

Terrifying.

But whatever it was,

alien or something else
entirely,

Chris hasn't seen it
again since.

So, let's take that
as a good sign.

At least, for now.

A UFO in disguise?

The power
of the invisibility cloak

has become a standard trope
in science fiction.

But now, significant advances

in real world
stealth technologies

are turning that fantasy
into reality.

Like the US military's newest
F-35 Strike fighter jet,

which has a superpower
built right into its frame.

Allowing it to navigate
air space

cloaked from human
observation.

A clear advantage
when looking to evade the enemy

or perhaps observe
and learn their secrets.

But of course,
awe-inspiring advances

are not limited
to we humans alone.

Many believe
alien civilizations

have been watching us
for years

in a stealthy game
of hide and seek.

Seem farfetched?

Not according
to the people who caught

these mysterious lights
in the sky.

Manisa, Turkey.

A man records an unusual
shape cloud hovering in the blues skies above.

And the longer he films it,
the more he gets the feeling

that this might not be
a cloud at all.

This could be a UFO
in disguise.

As opposed
to the other clouds around it,

which have very puffy,
bulbous shapes and irregularities,

this one is smooth.

It almost got
a very deliberate curve at the top.

I'm seeing a ship
within the clouds.

In my opinion,
it's the movement more than the shape

that swings this toward
possible cloaked UFO status.

It's not moving
in the same direction

or the same speed as
the other clouds around it,

and that almost seems
to be the tell.

This is something
trying really hard to look like a cloud.

If unidentified craft
were to try

to disguise themselves,
camouflage themselves in some way,

what better way than a cloud?

Because we're used
to seeing clouds in the sky.

If you happen to be an alien
and you don't want people to see you,

what better way
than to hide within a cloud.

Yes, a cloud
is undoubtably effective.

But it might not be
the only way

UFOs camouflage themselves.

Mika Ryan
and his friends and family

take to the streets
to enjoy the New York's Eve firework display.

But as soon as the show begins

Mika spots a different type
of light show.

So he grabs his phone
and starts recording.

My name is Mika
and this is my video.

As soon as we seen
them lights,

the fireworks
didn't even exist anymore. We were just fixated on them.

- Helicopters?
- No.

My first initial reaction
it was "What the F..."

Like, "I'm actually catching
a UFO on tape right now."

That's weird.
And there's so many.

One, two, three,
four, five...

Absolutely zero noise,
they moved just really gently

across the sky in unison,
they didn't move up or down.

It was very strange.
Very strange.

I still to this day
can't really explain what I've seen.

It's weird cause
they kinda doing like...

What? A formation?

These things definitely
are not fireworks.

Very strange.

They're not just like
all over the sky.

It seemed to form
some kind of pattern

that is moving in
and out of the clouds.

They'll come
from out of that cloud.

Just went across
just like that...

- Yeah.
- Not one of them changed.

No, no.

It's still
in the same formation.

The lights that we see here were piercingly bright.

It looked like
we might've been seeing...

light breaking through

from a cloaked object.

So, rather than a cloud
in the shape of a UFO,

it seems as though
we could be seeing a UFO that is camouflaged.

Mika agrees.

I think there's definitely
a possibility

that it could be a UFO
making itself invisible.

I firmly believe
that they would have the technology, for sure.

Mika
and his family are convinced

what they saw
was not from this world.

We tried to, you know,
find answers for ourselves,

but we just couldn't come up
with anything explainable.

I can't explain that.

So, keep an eye out
for anything peculiar in the sky

because you never know
what might be hiding up there

keeping an eye on you.

Imagine if they're like
making contact right now.

What should you do
in the event you witness something paranormal?

Here are some tips
to get it all on camera.

Keep a safe distance
from the creatures.

Never stop recording,
even when you're scared.

Trust that what you're seeing
really is otherworldly.
