It was just like some kind
of energy, freakin' thing happening

where it just kinda grew
bigger and then it took off.

were all asleep while it was happening.

Did several groups
of Tennessee mountain hikers...

...all stumble on Bigfoot?

We had seen bears,
this was something very different.

It was much larger,
much furrier, standing on two legs.

A man plays peek-a-boo with a child ghost.

It is so clear, it is almost
as if you could reach out and touch it.

And even more
paranormal footage you have to see...

...to believe.

There is a building in Japan
that strikes fear in those who know its history.

It was once a sprawling
and expensive hospital

that some say
was understaffed

causing a grievous error
that resulted in the death...

of a patient.

One of the nurses was
reportedly so distraught

she died by suicide.

Today, it's said
that nurse's unsettled spirit

roams
the abandoned building.

And a veteran ghost hunter
may have captured proof that it does.

2019, Nigata, Japan.

Yoshikuni Hamashima
has been hunting ghosts for 35 years.

So when he heard about
an abandoned and supposedly haunted hospital,

it was a no-brainer.

My name is
Yoshikuni Hamashima, and this is my video.

Accidents that
sometimes resulted in the death of patients.

Which, naturally,
fueled the rumors that it was haunted.

Yoshikuni and four colleagues

are working their way
down each empty floor of the hospital...

...searching for any evidence
of paranormal activity.

And it doesn't take long
for Yoshikuni to feel some strong vibes.

Moments later, he captures something chilling.

In slow motion,
as a ghostly white face with hollowed-out eyes

peers through the window.

It's only after Yoshikuni
posts the footage on social media

that a viewer alerts him
to the terrifying image.

We see this strange,
white, almost a reverse shadow figure,

almost like a ghost,
the form of a ghost.

It seems to be
coming from the outside

as opposed to a reflection
from inside the window.

This, to me,
obviously tells me it's intelligent energy

because it's aware
of the investigators.

And this energy
is keeping itself on the other side

of where it's physically
impossible for the living to enter.

But the team's
next encounter would have no such separation.

Keep your eye
on the wheelchair at the end of the hall.

Watch again.

The wheelchair is first
sitting in the middle of the hallway.

Then, Yoshikuni pans away
for a moment,

and when he pans back...

the camera just catches
the edge of the chair

as it finished rolling
from the hallway into a doorway...

on its own.

That long shot we get
down the corridor

where we see
the wheelchair at the end,

the camera moves
away just briefly, and when it comes back...

...that wheelchair is gone.

That was really freaky.

It doesn't just move
and inch or two,

it's sitting completely
motionless down this corridor

and then it sort of
rolls backwards and pulls away

into a doorway,
into a completely different room.

So, who or what
could be causing this activity?

And, could it be related
to the accidental death or a former patient?

It's a common theme
in Japanese culture,

when someone makes
an error at work,

it's not just an error
within themselves.

It's an error reflected
in the entire company.

You top that off with
the nurse who decided to also end her life,

that guilt is enough
to perpetuate a haunt throughout the whole building.

And that guilt
could be the reason

why this spirit
still lingers today.

We often view the paranormal
through a western lens

however, within
Japanese culture, ghosts or yrei

have endured
throughout millennia.

The basic idea is that
within each human,

there is a god,
and when that human dies,

that god is released.

If it has
unfinished business,

this yreican come back
to exact revenge

or seek to find out
some sort of resolution to their life.

A fact that
is not lost on Yoshikuni.

But regardless of
the message she is sending,

one thing is certain.

the natural resources

for other-worldly travelers.

of a strong connection to the indigenous people

one thing's for sure...

the UFOs just keep coming.

in the Pocono mountains,

Mycul Lugo is working
on his deck one sunny afternoon

when a strange streak
of light catches his eye.

You see
that dot right there?

That is a UFO.

My name is Mycul Lugo
and I'm the guy who recorded the video of the UFO.

I was actually right here
on this deck working on some music and stuff

when I see kind of like
a shooting star.

It was super bright,
and it was super high in the sky and it was daytime.

What stopped me was
because the shooting star didn't disappear

like it usually does,
it just like fades,

but this one stopped
in its tracks.

And I said, "Whoo,
what the hell?"

It's been moving
like crazy.

The minute I center it
in my camera,

my heart is pumping,
I'm nervous, you can tell

because I've never
experienced anything like this.

It was moving at first,
it stopped,

now it's just blinking
like a bright, white light.

I'm very zoomed in.

Look at how it lit up
right now.

It was magnificent,
like the sun had come down and shrunk.

It's turning different colors.

Guys, this is a real UFO.

If this were shot
at night-time, it would be perplexing enough

but the fact that it's shot
when it's still light out,

really means that
whatever this thing is

is really generating
an awful lot of its own light.

It's very bright,
even when it changes color we can still clearly see it

even in a lighted sky.

At first,
the pulsing light simply hangs there.

This is crazy.

And then...

the object shoots
across the sky.

Do you see this?

Do you see what it's doing?

It was just like some kind
of energy freakin' thing happening

where it just kind of
grew bigger and then it took off.

It starts to morph,

to change shape,
to certainly change in brightness

and appears to get
a little bit bigger, maybe even a little bit longer.

And then, in one
of the coolest moments in this video, it moves.

Looking at the speed
and movement of this thing,

that's what makes me
go, "Wow."

Helicopters
don't do that, drones don't do that.

If they fall,
they fall to the ground.

Look at
how it's moving.

After darting
to the right,

the object abruptly stops
once again.

Do you see this?

Only to move once more.

This time, downward.

Do you see
how this is moving?

It just turned
a different direction and went another way.

And I tried to find it again,
but I lost it.

It certainly looks like
there's some kind of intelligence

controlling the movement
of this object.

But, what kind
of intelligence?

This is crazy.

This is always
the big question with UFOs.

We now know
with certainty and even with government confirmation

that there exist
what are called unexplained aerial phenomena.

We know this.

So the only question
that remains isn't, "Is this real?"

But, "What is it?
What does it mean?"

Hard to say.

But given the location,
if this is extra-terrestrial,

it wouldn't be
the first time.

Throughout the entire state
of Pennsylvania, there are a lot of hotspots

where there's an immense
amount of UFO activity,

a lot of these areas
are very sacred.

These are areas that were
deemed sacred by the Native Americans

that lived there,
the local tribes.

And a lot of these areas
continue to this day to have activity

and people are reporting them
all the time.

The history
of the Poconos goes way back

to the native indigenous
people known as the Lenape.

The Lenape, or,
the "Original Ones"

believed that their ancestors
came from the stars.

And so, for thousands of years
they were talking with extra-terrestrials.

Because extra-terrestrials
are the Lenape's ancestors,

they are star people
and I think that's so beautiful and interesting.

Whatever the reason
for the visit,

Mycul is extremely grateful
for the experience.

I would say it was one of
the most amazing experiences of my entire life.

Angelique Elswick have experienced

what they believe to be
paranormal activity around their house

ever since moving in
in 2013.

HI, I'm Angelique Elswick
and this is my daughter, Emily Romano.

I believe
there are spirits living with us here.

When we first moved in,
which was about nine years ago

me and my brother would hear
screeching noises at night.

The attic door
locks on its own

and we have to actually
unlock it from the outside.

It locks by itself,
it's creepy.

My bedroom
is directly below the attic space

and I hear footsteps
all the time.

Eventually,
the activity seems to spread to the outside of the house.

Last year, it started
to become like, people walking on our porch

and I asked my mom
to put up cameras

to see if there were any
people or animals on our porch.

So Angelique
puts up a camera.

And what they discover
when reviewing the footage

is most certainly
not an animal or a living person.

Watch and listen closely.

As a vaporous apparition
walks down the steps,

making a thumping sound
as it does,

and then, disappears
into the night.

Emily and Angelique
are freaked out.

It was really
scary to wake up and see this video in the morning

and know that myself,
my husband and my daughter

were all asleep
while it was happening and we had no idea.

After watching it
so many times,

there's no way that
that could've been a person.

Just the angle and the way
it comes into the video, it has to be a spirit.

We have a camera
that's activated by motion

and it captures
what appears to be a semi-transparent apparition

of what look to me like
someone carrying an object

down the front porch steps
of this house and then disappearing.

Rather than
a traditional shadow figure,

this looks like some sort
of ghostly form

moving quickly down
the porch steps.

But what I find
especially captivating

is that the noises
match the image.

As it goes down the steps,
we hear the weight of footfalls

as it trounces about
pretty quickly.

I think I was more relieved
to see that it was a spirit

that we were hearing
than a person that could actually do us harm.

But, if it is
a spirit, who could it be?

I watched this clip
several times

and each time I kept thinking
it looks so homey.

It looks like a person
who's just maybe opened the front door,

stepped outside,
shut the door behind

in what appears to be
a really normal daily activity.

I'm inclined to see this
as some sort of repeater,

some sort of residual energy
where an imprint has been left

by the daily activity
of someone who used to be in this space.

That would
definitely make sense.

Especially given the history
of this particular house.

The owner
of the home did pass away in the home.

And he loved his home
and when I purchased it,

we kinda came in
and took down all of that.

We completely gutted
this house.

Which I think is what stirred
up a lot of the noises in the attic in particular.

That is where the homeowner
spent most of his time.

As soon as you start
demolishing things,

and you start tearing down
the circuitry,

and the energetic workings
within a home,

those are all the circuitry
and energetic workings

for the spirits attached
to that circuitry.

And so, when that's
no longer there,

those energies have nothing
to sustain themselves

and they don't know
how to be a ghost anymore.

Fortunately,
whoever or whatever was on the porch

hasn't been seen
or heard there since.

And though some activity
is still present inside their home...

The walking in the attic
still continues

and the door-locking
still continues.

Angelique feel able to deal with whatever it is.

At least, for now.

I think that
they're good spirits,

even if they make me
a little uneasy,

I don't think that
they're here to hurt us.

They're welcome to be here

as long as they don't
scare us in the middle of the night again.

all accidentally witness
the same remarkable creature at the same time.

2011, Clingmans Dome,

the highest point
of Tennessee's Great Smoky Mountains.

A man named Nick
is on a hike with his family

when something
extraordinary happens.

Hi, I'm Nick and I'm
the one who filmed this video.

I was on vacation
with my two younger brothers, my parents,

as well as my two cousins
and my aunt and uncle.

We were going on a hiking trip

to Clingmans Dome
in Tennessee in the Smoky Mountains.

It was kind of
an overcast day

as we got higher up
into the mountain, it was very foggy and cold.

We were walking
along this trail

and my cousin thought
he heard something in the trees,

so we all stopped to look
and see what it was that he was pointing at.

They all spot something in the distance.

We had seen bears and elk,
but this looked different.

But by the time
Nick starts rolling,

whatever it is disappears
around a corner.

I just noticed these kind of
furry legs just as they turn the corner.

But the creature
stays in the area

and soon, a crowd gathers
to get a look at it in its new location.

Uphill and among the trees.

I had decided to take
a couple steps closer

to see if I could
get a better shot at it.

Watch as Nick
zooms in on the figure.

It was very clear what
we were seeing wasn't any of those animals

that we'd seen already
on the trip.

This was something
very different, it was much larger, much furrier,

standing on two legs.

The hands were much bigger.

Whatever it is
stands still in the trees...

...seemingly
observing the observers.

And then, finally,

it vanishes into the forest.

On the car ride home,
Nick and his family have plenty to discuss.

Afterwards, we all got
in the car and were driving down the mountain

and all kind of debating
what it was we had just seen.

And eventually, the majority come to the same conclusion.

Me and my brothers
and my cousins were very adamant

that it was a Bigfoot
that we had seen.

So, are they right?

Did they really just see...

Bigfoot?

This figure rounding
the bend is quite large

and it is somewhat
sloped over in a fashion

that we associate
with a Sasquatch.

What I also find compelling
is if you look towards the feet,

it's almost as if
some of the hair is flapping as it moves.

What I'm seeing
is definitely a silhouette, a figure

of something large
with wide shoulders, you can see it's on two legs.

And based on the reactions
of the people in the video,

they were looking at something
that just doesn't make sense.

And given
the location of the sighting,

the likelihood that this
was Bigfoot is pretty high.

In the area of
Clingmans Dome in the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee,

it's known for its Bigfoot
sightings in the past.

This is a place
where Bigfoot sightings have been rampant.

This is not a rare thing,
this is the kind of place

where, when you see
a creature like this through the trees,

one of the first suggestions
that comes to you is Bigfoot.

And, there are
a number of other factors

that make this sighting
more credible than most.

What's great about
this is having a multitude of eyewitnesses there.

It gives it more credence
to me as opposed to a single photograph from a trail cam.

The fact that they are
watching this thing moving, it's keeping its distance,

and it's acting
like a Bigfoot would.

As a journalist,
I am as captivated by the reactions of the crowd.

They are clearly
seeing something here

and emotionally,
they sound very authentic as they respond to it.

For his part,
Nick is just thrilled

that he was there
to catch it on camera.

And is absolutely certain
of what he saw.

My experience that day
was unlike any other.

It's still something
I think about

and to this day,
I still think it was a Bigfoot.

A lifelong paranormal
investigator named John

lives in an old building
with a storied history.

The building itself
was built in 1860,

then became a hospital.

Then in 1920, the building
was changed into high-end apartments

for a local country club.

And it's this long, varied history that's fueled rumors

that the building is haunted.

John is curious to see
if those rumors are true.

So one day, he ventures down
to an unused area of the basement to investigate.

It's really hot
down here, really nasty, look at these cobwebs.

And captures
something incredible.

as the dark-haired, grayish face of a child

seems to play peek-a-boo
with John.

Again and again.

My first experience
down there was basically a ghost-child entity

peeking around the corner.

There is zero question here
that what we are seeing

is a form that is child-height
and it is peeking around the corner.

It is so clear,
it's almost as if you could reach out and touch it.

This doesn't look
see-through, it's not fuzzy,

it's not glowing
like you would imagine phantoms to be.

The looks solid,
like a real boy.

John is,
understandably, blown away by what he's captured.

And incredibly,
he has more encounters with this entity

and they are not limited
to peek-a-boo.

Sometimes, he actually
engages with whatever this thing is.

Alright, so I've been
playing tag with this thing.

Look, there he is again,
hey!

Here we go, ready?

Every time, every time I go...

This is what I wish
all investigators would do,

is follow through,
chase it down.

The fact that he gets there
pretty quick

and we can see for ourselves
that there's nothing,

yeah, that's really scary.

And it becomes
truly terrifying during another encounter

when the playful tone
suddenly takes a drastic turn.

Oh, I think
I just saw...

Oh my God, I don't know
if I wanna chase it this time.

The child's face
has changed.

That doesn't look
like the normal...

Oh my God, look at
that eye, it's white!

That is nuts!

At first, I did not know
what I was looking at

because what I was used
to seeing down there was a little ghost child.

We get a pretty clear
view of its face.

It's a very
strange-looking image

that has white eyes
as if they're glossed over

and we can actually see it
blinking its eyes.

Look at that eye,
it's white!

That is nuts!

My thought if I were
in his place...

time to go.

Which is exactly
what John does.

I don't know if I wanna
chase it this time.

I did feel like something
was threatening me

and my being personally
and my energy personally.

That is so nuts!

So, who or what
could this entity be?

And, is it connected
to the building's history?

You gotta remember,
this place was a hospital during the pandemic of 1918

so there is probably a lot
of misery and death going on in this place.

For a child's spirit
to be wandering around here,

you can't help but wonder,
is this one of the victims of that terrible plague?

Possibly,
or maybe this isn't the ghost of a child at all.

On one hand, this might seem
like a child's spirit, it's playful.

Hey! Here we go.

On the other hand,
maybe this is something of a darker nature

that's trying to lure
this man somewhere.

Terrifying,
but whatever this thing is,

John is determined
to keep searching for answers

and do whatever he can
to get to the bottom of what is happening here.

If it ends up being
that this entity is truly trapped down here,

I will bring in some experts
and see if we can cleanse the place.

See if we can release
not just the child entity,

but anything else
that is down there as well.

This is the soap
bubble that's been here for at least two minutes.

You've seen it on
the show many times before.

Moment after moment
of normal life...

suddenly glitching out...

as if everything around us
is simply a bug-y simulation.

And after searching the globe
for more example of this bizarre phenomenon,

we can tell you this
for certain...

...it's still happening.

2021, northern Alabama.

Aldolphus Wright
and his girlfriend, Sarah Jordan

are having
a quiet evening at home...

when something happens
that blows both their minds.

Hey, my name is
Aldolphus Wright and this is my girlfriend, Sarah Jordan.

We experienced what we shot
in the video together.

I was actually
in the living room watching TV

and I hear my girlfriend
kind of going off about something

happening in the kitchen.

I had just poured
some dish detergent into the water

to let the dish water
start running

and I put the container down
and bubbles came out as they sometimes do

and I really didn't pay
it no attention

until that thing caught me
out of the corner of my eye.

And that thing causes her to call for Adolphus.

So, I go in there
and there's this soap bubble.

It's not moving,
it's completely stationary.

As time ticks by,
the bubble continues to remain stuck in midair.

This is the soap
bubble that's been here for at least two minutes.

- What the?
- It's not moving.

And no angle
they film it from helps to explain it.

Okay, I'm above it
now so there's no way it's hanging from anything.

It short-circuited my brain

'cause I'm like,
it's a bubble, so any slight movement of air,

like, if I were to blow on it,
it would've like, burst or moved.

And it's just like,
not doing any of these things

that my mind tells me
it should be doing.

I'll try
to go below it.

What!

In the moment,
Sarah and Adolphus

can think of only one
possible explanation.

I immediately thought
of Paranormal Caught on Camera

and the segment,
Glitch in the Matrix

because, I mean,
I couldn't believe what was happening to us.

What the?

This video
is astonishing,

clearly, we can see
a soap bubble

and we've all seen
soap bubbles before.

But we've never seen one,
I don't think, that just stands still.

It's a soap bubble
that is suspended in midair,

it's not moving,
it's not floating on an air current.

I can't explain that,
who can explain that?

Well, we can.

A lot of theorists out there
believe that we live in a simulation.

And just like your computer
would freeze or crash,

it's believed that
our everyday life

is a simulation and has
the ability to do so as well.

as a society,
our folk belief evolves

with our understanding
of the world.

So the fact that we even now
have a concept like the matrix,

like a giant simulation
in which we are all living,

that's an idea that had
simply had no way of existing several hundred years ago.

And now that
we have that idea,

we have suddenly
this new category, this new context

of understanding
things that we can't explain.

After a few
minutes, the bubble finally acts like a bubble...

- What!
- Holy!

...allowing
Adolphus and Sarah to get back to their normal lives.

Albeit, with lots
of questions.

It just makes
me wonder, like,

was some kind of energy
trying to communicate

or is simulation theory
really real?

And is this a simulation
and are there glitches that go on?

Like, why did that happen
to us, like, why did that happen?

I'm like, still,
if I think about it, I'm like, did that really happen?

It did.

But at least they can take
comfort in the fact

that despite
the occasional glitches...

What!

Holy!

...life continues to go on.

At least, for now.

Whenever I see
footage like this,

that looks like
glitches in the matrix,

it makes me very concerned

because when a program
is operating smoothly,

we don't notice it
and everything is cool.

But when it starts
to act up, what do the programmers do?

They issue an update

or they might need
to reboot the entire system

which would not end well for--
