This is obviously an energy
that's trying to lure these witch-hunters

to them.

A spirit
takes a stroll

around a famous
Kentucky distillery.

We believe we have
caught a ghost on camera.

I mean, I was like,
"No way, it can't be."

A man
in Mississippi

gets up close and personal

with a legendary beast.

This is one of the most
astounding videos

that I've seen
of the alleged skunk ape.

A mysterious
glowing object

appears alongside
a passenger airplane.

Of course,
the first thought you might get was,

"Well, well, well,
I am filming a UFO."

And even more
paranormal footage you have to see...

to believe.

It seems obvious
that locations with a great amount of negative energy

are likely to be haunted.

But, did you know
that sometimes,

places with very joyful,
positive histories

can also...

be extremely haunted.

Many believe it's because
upon death,

intelligent spirits
can choose to haunt wherever they want.

So, why not choose somewhere

that made you
happiest in life?

Which may be the reason
why this was spotted at a famous Kentucky distillery.

August, 2019.

At the Jim Beam
American Stillhouse

in Clermont, Kentucky.

It's 1 a.m.

And Robin Skirvin
and a fellow security guard

are monitoring cameras
at their station

when Robin's coworker
notices strange movement

coming from the Stillhouse's
welcome center.

But when Robin goes
to the welcome center in person to investigate,

he finds nothing.

Rejoining his coworker
at their station,

they replay the footage

and are forced
to draw one conclusion.

We believe
we have caught a ghost on camera.

Take a look.

As Robin narrates
while he films the monitor with his phone.

Okay, there it is.
Right there.

Watch.

A small
light anomaly

moves left to right
on camera.

It goes
all the way

across the camera.

Fading
in and out of view

behind the beams
of the welcome center.

And just
watch this thing. It goes all the way across.

Having already
investigated the area himself,

Robin knows no one is there

and is baffled.

And it's
not a light

because there is no light
back there, behind, you can see,

upon the hill back there,
there is no light there.

There's nobody over here.

But, it's still going.

The anomaly
finally fades away for good,

leaving just
one obvious question.

What is it?

and I captured the video.

We didn't believe
what we were seeing, honestly.

I mean, I was like,
"No way, it can't be."

Okay, there it is.
Right there,

Watch.

When I captured
that video,

that was after I had went,

looked, checked it out,
everything.

Nobody was around.

And that's when I was like,
"Wait a minute.

Do we have a ghost here?"

'Cause if you pay
attention to it,

when it's coming across,
it almost looked like there was actual legs,

walking.

It's still going

across the camera.

And I had never seen one
with my own eyes before.

That's something
you see on TV.

It's not something
that you see every day, you know.

This is
one of the most peculiar pieces of footage

I have seen
in quite some time.

What is it?

I haven't seen
anything like this before.

It's almost sparkly.

And shiny.
And as it walks past the camera,

it walks behind the columns.

Whatever this is,
seems to be self-contained.

It's moving on its own pace.

And it moves in a way
that seems to be free

from anything
that's mechanical around there.

It looks like
a person, for sure.

There's sort of
an upright posture.

It's something that
seems to be moving

kind of in an
unconcerned pace.

This is not a creature
that's darting from

shadow to shadow
or that's attempting to go unseen.

This is almost
a meandering walk across the parking lot.

Not really worried about
whether or not anyone's going to notice.

It's moving very slowly.

Almost as if
it's surveying the area,

you know, just taking
a look around,

making sure everything's okay.

With that
in mind, if this is an intelligent spirit,

who could we be
looking at here?

When you look
at this upright posture,

and see the stroll,

it looks like
a masculine figure

taking its sweet own time.

Maybe, it's one of those
old, Kentucky gentlemen

surveying his affairs.

And perhaps,
a very specific Kentucky gentleman

with a keen interest

in the Jim Beam distillery.

I would assume
that if this is a spirit,

it might be a pretty
good chance this is the spirit

of one of the original
founders of Jim Beam.

I do believe that
spirits and ghosts, if you will,

when they decide
to make an appearance or come back,

they come back to places
where they are comfortable.

And come back
where there is a strong emotional connection.

And what could be a bigger
connection than your home?

And your distillery,
your business, which is, you know,

incredibly successful.

It's also possible
that this is simply

someone who enjoyed
spending time in this place.

Maybe even someone
who worked there.

Someone for whom
this place

was a significant element
of their lived experience.

And, for whatever reason,
they have the ability to come back,

visit, maybe even
keep an eye on things.

Maybe even,
be sort of a protector watching over the area.

Whether
it's one of the distillery's founders

or someone else entirely,

this isn't the first time

strange things
have been reported

at the Stillhouse.

There are many reports
of things happening there.

There's several buildings,
you know, where people say they've seen apparitions,

they've heard footsteps,

they felt things touch 'em.

Being able
to cross reference an existing body of narratives,

a set of stories about a place
that is purported to be haunted

with this kind of
closed circuit, unintended capture,

that really makes
for a compelling argument that a place is haunted.

Whatever,
or whoever made an appearance that day,

the experience has shifted
Robin's thinking.

Before then,
I didn't know what to believe.

You know, you hear
everybody talk about it,

you see it on TV,

you don't know
what to believe.

But when it happens to you,
you know, it kind of changes your mind, you know,

I'm definitely more
open-minded.

There's definitely
things there that you don't understand,

or that you can't explain.

What is it?

Coming up,

a group of investigators
chase a witch in Mexico.

The word, "witch"
has different meanings to different people.

For some, they are
the stuff of fairy tales.

Ghoulish creatures
with pointy hats,

mixing potions
in smoky cauldrons.

Others might think of
the horrific with trials

in Salem
during the late 17th century.

But for many in Mexico,

the type of witch
that first comes to mind

is La Lechuza.

Part-bird, part-woman,

all-terrifying.

Recently, a group of explorers

followed reports of a witch
into the Mexican woods.

And what they found
may very well have been...

the legend herself.

November, 2020,

in Juventino Rosas,

Guanajuato, Mexico,

Juan Francisco Medrano
and several colleagues

are in town to investigate
reported sightings

of a witch.

My name
is Juan Francisco Medrano.

Witches have
always been prevalent in Mexican culture.

They've been around
for hundreds of years.

Sometimes they're good,
sometimes they're evil.

Here is the story
of Mexico.

When they say that,
"Yes, a witch resides here,"

this is someone to be avoided.

This is someone who works

on the evil end of things.

And around here,

they have a name
for that kind of witch.

La Lechuza.

Lechuza was
supposed to be a witch

that made a pact
with the devil,

and the town folk decided
to kill her, murder her.

She came back as a huge bird
with a woman's head.

When La Lechuza goes hunting,

she acts very similar
to an owl would,

you know, flying at night
in the dark,

flying on tree tops.

Terrifying.

But despite the potential
for that kind of encounter,

Juan Francisco and the team

press on into the darkness.

And it isn't long...

before they hear something.

Listen again...

...as a laugh
can be heard in the distance.

That green light
you see in the distance

is the team's laser pointer,

searching for the source
of the laughter.

Moments later,

they hear the laugh again.

There's something to be said
about these noises that sound like laughter.

It puts them
at a disadvantage,

it puts them on guard,
'cause they feel like,

"All right. If something
is laughing at us,

it clearly has the upper hand.

And out here, we are the prey,
they're the predator."

And soon, the predator

begins taunting its prey.

Listen again,

as La Lechuza,
or whatever is out there,

shouts "Come get me"
in Spanish.

The thing
that's really interesting was the fact that, like,

okay, you could hear,
like, you know,

maybe people talking
in the city in the background,

dogs barking,
the sound of some animals,

or at least some of the noises
I could be like, "Oh, that could be an animal."

But it's that moment where
you hear that sentence where

it sounds like
a women's voice saying...

This is obviously
an energy that's trying

to lure these witch hunters
to them.

If that's what it wants,

it's working, because the team

head straight
toward the voice.

And then...

Do you see it?

A shadow above the trees.

Could it be...

Or perhaps

the evidence
is simply being manipulated

by something
even more terrifying.

This, to me, is more
like an elemental energy,

because they're using the fear
of witches

to lure this group of people
to them.

And that's something you have
to beware of.

I think these
elemental energies

eventually use tropes
like witches

to lure people
to their demise.

And, to me,
the way it's interacting with the trees,

the way it's luring in these
witch hunters,

kind of comes off to me
as this malevolent elemental energy.

Thankfully for Juan Francisco and his team,

the shadow, whatever it is,

eventually vanishes.

And they
get out of there unscathed.

But he's learned
an important lesson

from the experience.

When it comes to pets,

there's no bond that exists

quite like that
of humans and dogs.

It's often so powerful

many believe it lives on

even after death.

This special connection

combined with a dog's
incredibly acute senses

of sight, smell, and hearing,

make them unparalleled
when detecting the presence

of supernatural entities.

But don't take
our word for it.

Take theirs.

February, 2019,
in Surrey, England,

while he and his family sleep,

Liam Hansen runs a camera
in his dining room

to keep an eye
on his pugs overnight.

And at one point...

they both seem
to sense something.

The bigger one
eventually dismisses it.

But the smaller one
is still tuned in.

Then, just moments later...

Watch again,

as two chairs are pushed

by someone, or something...

freaking out the smaller pug.

I don't know about these dogs,

but my dogs are
typically sacked out in the middle of the night.

And yet there is something
that is piquing the attention

of these two,
especially the little one.

The interesting part
about this video, for me,

is that--
the difference in reactions

between the older dog
and the puppy.

Uh, when the chair moves,

the older dog sort of
looks over at it,

takes it into account,
and then goes back to scratching itself.

The younger dog
is very alarmed and jumps back

as if in a defensive stance.

Uh, it makes me wonder if
perhaps the older dog

is used to this
kind of activity in the house,

and the younger one
is just seeing it for the first time.

Strange.
But not unique.

September, 2020,
in Pennsylvania,

Kevin Eichelberger
and his wife, Ibtissum,

have a dog named Fen,

who tends to stare at things

that Kevin and Ibtissum
cannot see.

- So, one day...
- Bye, Fen.

...in order to see if they can get some insight

as to what's going on,

they strap a camera
to Fen's back,

and head out
to the grocery store.

When they review the footage,

they're freaked out.

Listen carefully.

And keep in mind,

Fen is alone in the house.

Did you hear that?

It's a phantom whistle.

And there's more.

Strange noises.

And...

mysterious footsteps.

Clearly...

...Fen is a little concerned.

But what is it
that he's hearing and sensing?

This sounds
like the distinct noises that a human

or something with weight
would make

as it is moving about.

But if it was someone
that the dog knew or expected,

it would run to greet them

as opposed to holding back
and being cautious.

When a dog whimpers,
that's a form of communication.

They're not just
doing that randomly.

A whimper is a sound
to communicate with something or somebody else.

Um, we don't see
anybody there, so it's curious.

What is this dog trying
to communicate,

and to who, or what?

And sometimes,
those attempts to communicate

can clue us into something
we would not want to miss.

December, 2011,
in Mesa, Arizona,

Zack Clark
is filming his dog, Zoey,

because something isn't right.

Hi, I'm Zack Clark,
and I filmed the videos.

My dog just started growling.

She's growling at something.

I did not know
what was happening. It was strange behavior for Zoey.

She had never done anything
like that before.

Uh, and so,

it got me kind of panicked.

But when Zack
finally works up the courage

to see for himself...

...there's nothing.

Though it sounds
like Zack is joking about it being a ghost,

there's actually
a reason for him

to believe it really is one.

When that first happened,

it was recently after

my wife's mom had passed away.

And in that apartment,
just before that incident,

my wife had a dream.

In the dream, her mom
walked through the front door

and said,
"It's okay. I'm not mad."

And my wife told me that
she was worried

about her mom being
upset with her over something.

And I'll never forget when
my wife told me that dream.

She woke up as if it was real.

And the fact that
it was in that apartment, and shortly thereafter,

my dog, Zoey,

had these strange experiences.

Barking at something
that we couldn't see.

Um, you know, one...

one tends to think
that there could be a connection there.

Dog's lives are
very interconnected with human lives.

They are pack animals, um,
and they're really,

to a large extent,
dependent on humans,

and also in tune with them.

They have such
heightened senses that,

uh, perhaps they're still
in tune with humans that,

you know, we no longer
have the opportunity

to interact with
because they're dead.

And maybe
it's as simple as that.

Our emotional ties
to man's best friend

are so powerful

that they can't help
but be attuned to our presence...

...even in the afterlife.

A man in Mississippi

stumbles upon
a massive skunk ape.

For the most part,

cryptids that fall
under the Bigfoot category,

such as Sasquatch
and skunk ape,

are not known
to be aggressive.

But if you are alone

and suddenly came across one
in the middle of the woods,

what would you do?

Try to film it
to prove you really saw one?

Or run away
as fast as humanly possible?

That's the difficult decision

a man in Mississippi
had to make

when he saw this.

It's October 24th, 2013,

near Tunica, Mississippi,

Josh Highcliff
is out hunting hogs on his property

when he hears
a noise up ahead.

Seconds later, he spots
a large black hairy figure

about 50 yards away from him.

At first,
he thinks it might be a bear.

But whatever this thing is...

isn't acting like a bear.

It soon becomes very apparent

that this large, furry beast

is unlike anything
Josh has ever seen...

...because it's digging into
the trunk of a tree with what appear to be hands.

Seconds later,
it stands upright for a moment

and looks to be
about seven feet tall.

Josh is getting freaked out.

so much so
that when it stands again,

he runs away.

So, what did Josh
just capture on camera?

Some believe it's a skunk ape,

a type of bigfoot that lives
in the swamps of the south-eastern United States

This is one
of the most astounding videos that I've seen

of the alleged skunk ape.

We don't just catch
a fleeting glimpse

of some dark,
tall, hulking figure walking through a swamp,

we have a pretty good look
at what it's doing.

You can see it
physically ripping parts of the bark off

to get to the inner tree.

Now, when he rips
the bark off,

you can see the muscles,
you can see the jerking motion.

You may think,
"Well, this is simply a bear,"

or some other animal like that
digging into the stumps,

but that's when this thing
stands up and you get a great look

at the full layout
of this creature,

and it's got arms,
it's got legs, it's bipedal, it stands upright.

But it's completely covered
in hair.

If this is
a skunk ape, what is it doing to that tree?

One piece of evidence that many people have reported

as signs that
a bigfoot-like cryptid, like a skunk ape, is present,

is the building of
sort of natural shelters like almost a wickiup.

The small structure made
out of sticks or twigs

that would provide
basic shelter for a creature

that might need
to sleep inside it.

- So, it's not too much
of a leap to think... -

...this might be
what's happening here.

It could be
marking the tree

as if marking its territory,
saying to other animals, "Stay away."

It could be searching
for food. It could be trying to rip off the bark

to get an insect
or other animal that's inside.

Or, maybe, it put something
in there and it's trying to retrieve it.

Whatever it's doing, it appears to be strong.

And if it could
tear apart a tree,

imagine what it could do
to a person.

The minute
that creature turns around

and sees someone
filming them,

things could go downhill fast.

So, I think the fact that he
immediately turns and runs once that creature stands up,

is smart regardless of
how you interpret the situation.

We're seeing
more and more activity and aggression

because there are
more and more people going out there

investigating with
their cameras,

trying to discover
these creatures.

Thankfully,
Josh walks away...

or rather runs away unharmed,

and with one of
the best pieces of skunk ape footage to date.

You know, as far as
bigfoot videos are concerned,

most of them are grainy
or short or taken at a distance.

That's not the case
with this video.

I gotta say that this is,
if not he top, it's in the top three

of footage that's
available to us today.

What the?

Coming up,
a security camera in India

captures
a mysterious apparition crossing a road.

When you think
you may have witnessed something paranormal,

it's natural
to second guess it and convince yourself...

it was just
your imagination...

unless, of course,
the experience was so startling and unusual...

that you simply
can't let it go.

In that case,
it might be worth it to dig a little deeper.

That's what happened
to a man in India.

And when he found a video
of the event he experienced,

it was clear that
it really was something truly extraordinary.

August, 28, 2013.
In Bangalore, India.

After putting in
a long day at work,

a man named Raj
is walking home alone late at night...

when he experiences
something strange.

My name is Raj.

Which may be
the reason for what happens next.

Raj can't
explain it because,

at the time,
he is so rattled.

He's sure he saw something.

But what he thinks he saw
doesn't make sense.

So, Raj has a friend, Satya,

retrieve footage
from a nearby CCTV camera.

And that CCTV footage
shows this.

Watch closely as a figure,
wispy and transparent,

slowly crosses the road,

and it's doing it
seemingly unnoticed.

At one point, it flashes back
to the middle and waits...

as passing vehicles
seem to drive...

directly through it.

Seconds later,
as another car drives by,

the figure vanishes.

After seeing the footage,
Raj is stunned...

but sure that
what he saw was a ghost.

This figure
certainly appears to be a human form,

albeit a very ghostly
human form.

I mean, it's sort of whitish,
sort of transparent-opaque

um, and it moves
just like a person

who would be walking
into a street.

You kind of lose your breath
when you see a car or vehicle approaching,

but then, kind of let loose
when you realize

it goes right through
the spirit and it keeps on walking.

At one point,
it seems to glitch.

It moves from where it was,
back just a little bit.

But it's not an element
of a video recording...

because the other vehicles
on the road at that time

don't glitch similarly.
It's just that figure.

It's curious
that this figure seemingly vanishes... into a car.

Did the driver unknowingly
pick up a ghost rider?

Eventually,
Raj and Satya discover

that this particular
stretch of road

has had multiple sightings
of the same apparition...

which, most in the area,
believe to be a specific 70-year-old man

who committed suicide
years earlier

following a property dispute
over a nearby building.

The apparition
does appear to be kind of hunched over a little bit

and is certainly
moving incredibly slow across that street,

you know, in a way that
you would expect

a 70-year-old man
to possibly do.

It's often speculated
that apparitions like this are

sort of going through
a repetitive motion,

perhaps the last moments
of their life, here on Earth,

um, and we're just seeing
the residual images of that,

and then they'll
repeat that over and over

as if they're sort of
on a tape loop.

But that
still leaves one lingering question.

Why did Raj
see something that night

while other people
drove right on through?

On a paranormal investigation,

my perception of
something that happens

could be different than
my fellow investigator.

Some people have more
of a psychic perception in different arenas,

like some people are
a little bit more clairvoyant,

or some people
are empathic.

And Raj's
apparent natural abilities,

combined with
a well-placed CCTV camera,

made for the discovery
of an incredible capture.

Coming up,
what would you do

if you saw this UFO
outside your plane's window?

These days,
there are endless ways

to help pass the time
on a long flight.

Movies, games,
even a nice, relaxing nap.

But if you have a window seat,
checking out the Earth and the sky

from 30,000 feet
can be its own in-flight entertainment...

especially if you look
out the window and see this.

In the skies over
the New Mexico-Arizona border,

Joseph Saul Portillo
is on a flight he has taken many times,

Tampa to Los Angeles
to visit family,

when out of his window,
he spots this:

A strange object
floating above the clouds.

Joseph zooms in
for a better look...

and sees that the object
appears to be

a cluster of four or five
stationary lights hovering near his aircraft.

Joseph notes
the elevation...

...and he
is awestruck.

Eventually,
the lights disappear into the clouds

right before
another plane flies by in the opposite direction.

This is Joseph Saul Portillo
and this is my video that I captured.

I don't know where...
just bright, bright light.

And I looked at it for
about a minute and a half,

and I realized I was
looking at something completely different.

And I'm trying
to rationalize everything

and I couldn't
find an explanation.

And of course, you know,
the first thought in my head was,

"Well, well, well,
I am filming a UFO."

These lights
are not just like your typical light anomaly.

Bright light that's
blinding to look at,

and the shape that we're
seeing, you know, these rectangular light clusters,

I mean, that's
really unusual to spot,

and very hard to look at
for extended periods of time just because it's so blinding.

If it was me
and I was in that plane,

I would've been
a little concerned about

what this thing is
that's next to the plane I'm in.

What's it gonna do?
Is it going to attack the plane?

Is it up there for
some other nefarious reason?

Regardless of
what this thing is,

the idea that it's up there
in the sky in close proximity

to not only one plane,
but two,

should send alarms
through many travelers' minds.

So, whatever this thing is,
whatever it's doing up there,

I think it's important that
we, as a human race,

get to the bottom of it
and figure out why-- what it is.

And a good place
to start might be the location of the plane

when Joseph saw
the mysterious lights.

The first thing
I thought was,

"Okay, I'm flying over
New Mexico or even Arizona where the military

has a lot of training,
a lot of bases, a lot of secrecy."

So, I'm thinking
this must be some sort of military aircraft

that happens to be floating
up in the air while my plane is passing by.

But as I try to make out
the shape of that aircraft,

I realize that, either, A,
that is a one secret ship

that the Air Force
is keeping from everybody,

or that is an aircraft
or an object

that is really beyond
human technology, beyond the military technology.

The world we live in
is a very fast paced place

where we have
amazing technology and vehicles,

and yet, when you
say the words,

UFO, and New Mexico
in the same sentence,

you're taken back to
a time right after World War II.

You think about Roswell
in New Mexico and the alleged UFO crash.

Are they coming back
with different technology?

Are we seeing
something different here?

Because this doesn't look like
the saucer-shaped UFO that crashed in Roswell.

What we're seeing here
are four to five rectangular objects,

highly illuminated.

So, this is
a little bit different than the Roswell sighting.

Whatever it is,

military, extraterrestrial,
or something else entirely,

Joseph is keeping
his mind open.

We are a tiny dot
out of this huge universe.

Anything is possible,
everything is possible.

Are we alone?
In my opinion, I don't think so.

I don't think we're alone.

But how can I explain
what's beyond us? I just can't.

What should you
do in the event you witness something paranormal?

Here's some tips
to get it all on camera.

Well, I don't know
what that is.

Check your
security cameras, and then, check them again.

We believe we have

Be brave
but not too brave.

Trust
your dog's instincts.
