good validation

that something was in the room
and we were not around.

Orbs invade
a woman's home

I said, "Oh, my gosh.

What is this?"

And even more
paranormal footage

you have to see...

...to believe.

Paranormal activity

can occur anywhere
at any time.

In fact,
it could be happening

right next to you
at this very moment.

That creak in the floor,

the flicker of your lamp,

your TV suddenly

losing its signal,

could all be caused
by some kind of entity

and you would
never know it...

...unless it
wants you to.

Just ask one man
in North Carolina

who experienced odd
happenings in his home

culminating
with this nightmare

from his doorway.

Cody Moss has the day
off from work.

As he's getting
his morning coffee,

he suddenly hears
his smoke alarm.

He also notices
that the lights

in the house
seem dimmed.

He suspects something
is wrong

with the electricity.

My name is Cody

and this is my video.

The lights were still
kind of on

but not fully
and I'm like,

"Huh, this is weird."
They must be...

They must be working
on the power line.

I went to the
refrigerator to grab me

a water real quick
and try to get out

what I wanted before
and I didn't know how

long the power
was gonna be out.

Light were flickering
inside the refrigerator

and I thought
that was strange.

I've never seen it before.

But what really creep me
out was the light

in the bathroom
started flickering

and the water running.

So I kind of snuck
around the corner

and the water was on.

Cody is disturbed

because he knows
he didn't leave the faucet on

and there's
no one else home.

As I started to walk
away from the bathroom

after I got the water off,

I kind of heard
something behind me

and that was actually

this door here...

that closed.

That's when I really
truly got freaked out.

Cody walks
outside and calls

his girlfriend to tell her
what's been going on.

She tells him to stay
out of the house

but Cody
makes a bold decision.

I said,
"Look, I'm gonna go back in

and I'm gonna keep filming
because I don't know

what to expect."

And when he does,

he finds the kitchen

in total disarray.

All the chairs
were on the floor,

knocked over,
all the cabinets were open.

No, no, no, no, no.

I said, "No, I'm going...

I'm going back outside
and this...

I don't know what this is."

I got scared.

That's when I just...
I decided to leave.

After two hours,

Cody finally musters up
the courage

to go back
inside the house.

I went through
every single room

looking for somebody,
thinking maybe somebody

had gotten in and they
were just trying to scare me.

I checked every room
under every bed.

He doesn't find
anyone or anything.

Still shaking,
he reviews the footage

later that night.

I just kept
watching it over and over

because I was just shocked
at what happened.

The fourth or fifth time
I had watched the video,

I noticed something
in the corner of the room

which is actually
my daughter's room.

I saw something
and to me,

it looked like it moved
and I was...

I wonder what that is.
So I screenshotted at it

and I just zoomed in
on it.

Cody's blood runs cold.

What appears to be an
upside down face

stares back
from the top right corner

of the doorjamb.

My heart just dropped.

I could feel my face...
All the blood in my face ran.

I mean, it just...
It scared me.

It just looked like
somebody watching me.

I didn't sleep
that night.

I stayed up and watched
the video over and over.

I've sent the screenshot

to friends and family

and they all...
Everyone said, you know,

"Get out. Go. Leave."

If I captured
something like that,

I would not be going back
in my home.

I mean, not without
a team of investigators

and possibly a priest

for exorcism purposes.

This is such
a classic horror movie

- moment.
- No, no, no, no, no.

As humans,
we assume to look around

at our eye level

and see what's going on.

So we are missing
the thing

that's right above us.

And in this case,

that's the scariest part.

I often talked
about spirits in home

being benevolent,
being helpful, not to panic.

But when I see
something like this,

when I see that
upside down head peering

into the main room,

I got to admit,
a part of me does start

to panic.

Could
the terrifying face

in the doorway
have any connection

to all the other
activity

Cody captured that day?

Usually,
when you're getting

faulty electrical
in your home,

a smoke alarm in this case,

and even the refrigerator
lights kind of

petering on and off,
it's probably

because that source of energy

is being siphoned from.

And ghosts
and spirits can use

that form of energy to help

manifest themselves.

This face
in the doorframe

is coupled with all

this poltergeist activity.

That's an escalation.

And what's so scary
about that

is if it's a poltergeist,

this isn't like
some ghost trying

to talk to you.

This is a manifestation
of the house.

Like this is...
The house has created

that image for you to see.

Fortunately,

Cody hasn't seen
it again since.

But it's an experience

he will never ever forget.

Going through it

and thinking
back on it now,

it's probably one
of the scariest things

that's ever happened
to me.

I get chills.

What is walking beneath
this bridge in Taiwan?

Fishing
can be an exciting

and rewarding pastime,

especially when the fish
are biting.

But sometimes
for some unknown reason,

they can be hard to find.

Maybe it's bad luck

or an off-tide,

or maybe
believe it or not,

the fish were sensing

something paranormal.

That may have been
the case for a man in Taiwan

who went fishing at one
of his favorite spots and

caught something
much more thrilling

than a fish.

October 2020,

Tainan, Taiwan.

Elan Nofrian is fishing
along the Yongkang River.

It's a spot where
he's had much success

in the past.

But today is different.

Elan isn't getting
many bites

and he's not sure why.

My name is Elan

and this is my video.

But on this day,

Elan only reels in one.

So he heads home.

The following day,

Elan scrubs to the footage

to find the fish
he caught

to post it online

when he spots something
in the background

that blows his mind.

Watch closely.

It's a tall
translucent figure

that materializes
under the bridge

walks between the pillars

and then disappears
into thin air.

This is unlike
anything I've ever seen.

I don't know
what that is.

But I do know
it's not from here now.

I watched
this clip over and over

and over trying to see,
is it a reflection,

is there a vehicle
that goes across

the bridge
or under the bridge

or somewhere else?

And I couldn't see anything.

It is very clearly

not human or animal

in any way that we might be

familiar with.

This is honestly one
of the most convincing

pieces of footage
that I've seen

that there is something

truly supernatural,

meaning outside
of what we know

about the natural world
that exists.

I'm having
a hard time figuring out

exactly which category
to put this in.

Is it spirit?

It looks translucent,
not entirely there.

Is it a cryptid?

It does seem to walk
with a gait

that some kind of creature
or animal would make

but it also looks mechanical
because what appears

to be its head looks
just to be a rectangle

on top of a pole,
on top of something else.

So is it
from another world?

Is it a probe of some
sort or maybe

it's a fourth category
that combines

all of the above?

To me,
I don't put this

in the category of ghost.

This is like an
elemental creature

or some sort of foreign
alien type being.

This is something that lives
in a whole other reality.

What we're seeing here
is something that just

is able to kind of bend
our fabric of reality

or create portals
into our existence

and just kind of visit us.

Because it seemed like
this creature just walked in

out of nowhere.

Elan's theory might explain

why the fish
weren't around that day.

Whatever manifested
under the bridge

scared them off.

What's interesting
is that animals,

wildlife have the ability
to sense things

that we can't sometimes.

Fish, for instance,
are incredibly sensitive

to electromagnetic fields,

so if there's
anything strange

happening in the
electromagnetic energy

in that area,
it could have possibly

stunned or, you know,

pushed all the fish
out of that area.

Although it wasn't
a great fishing day,

Elan feels
that what he did catch

was way more exciting

than any fish
he'll ever land.

artifacts on display

in this four-story museum,

there is no telling what

could be causing

in the museum,

you could feel a different

- vibes and energy...

of the items out there

because there's so many items
that have been brought in

from all over the world.

And it doesn't
take long for Bex and Sean

to notice
some bizarre activity

starting
in the women's restroom.

- Just...
- Yeah.

- Listen.
- The door.

It could be
next to

can you hear that?

So the hand dryer
in the women's toilet

which is locked
is going off...

On and off by itself.

It's out the window.

Do that again one more time.

Sean then unlocks the door

to see what could be
causing the hand dryer

to turn on and off.

Oh, that's quite scary,
isn't it?

It was definitely
some sort of communication

by a spirit.

These things
are motion sensitive.

You have to run your hands
underneath them

to get them to go on and off,

but nobody is in the restroom
when it's going off,

so you have to wonder,
you know,

what is causing this.

What is that?

Encouraged
by the back and forth

with the hand dryer,
Bex and Sean

head to the first floor

where they hoped to keep
the communication going.

Any spirits in this room,

can you make us a noise

to let us know
that you're here?

Almost immediately...

...they hear something.

on this glass?

When Sean
asked for a response

from the spirit and the spirit

responds by tapping on glass,

making some sort of noise,

that's a pivotal moment
in investigation.

That's when you differentiate
between whether or not

what you're dealing with
is residual or intelligent,

and that call in response
would indicate...

That was tap, tap, tap.

...whatever
they're dealing with

in that moment
was intelligent.

But it isn't until
they reached the third level

where the mummified priest
resides...

Wow.

...that
the activity really ramps up.

They have placed
several high-tech

spiritual energy detectors

in the area.

Nesyamun's casket
is to the right.

That doorway there
is where the mummy rests.

Oh, yes.

Watch closely.

No, it is...

Did you see it?

Jane, their camera operator,

has just spotted
a shadow figure

seemingly heading toward
the mummy's casket.

You can see it crossed
the floor here.

But at the time,
no one else saw it

because the shadow
was only visible on camera.

When we got back

and we got it into
the computer to edit it,

we then saw
what Jane had captured.

We couldn't believe it.

It was just like, "Wow,

it looked like
a hooded figure."

At first,
you think that it might be

just one of the investigators
casting a shadow on the floor,

but that doesn't make sense,

there is no light source
behind them to cast it.

Also the IR lights

that we used on the cameras

shouldn't really
wash the shadow out

or whatever it was

crossed into
the actual IR lights...

- to create the shadow.
- Yeah.

So whose shadow is this?

Where is it going?

Bex and Sean
think they know.

I think if I had
to hazard a guess

on who the shadow
I think it belonged to,

I think it would definitely
be Nesyamun

because it was walking
back towards the tomb.

A mummy room in general,

you're just in a room
with a dead guy.

Brass tacks,
that's what it is.

They're also standing
in a room

with a dead person
of high import.

Somebody who was
a spiritual leader

in their time,

so of course, his corpse

is gonna have some spiritual
energy surrounding it.

But where's
the shadow figure going?

Well, it's headed straight
toward the casket

where Nesyamun is kept,

so...

you be the judge.

Their entire investigation

lasted about nine hours

and from all the evidence
they gathered,

Bex and Sean are certain

Nesyamun's spirit is there,

but it isn't the only entity
roaming the halls.

We believe Leeds Museum

is haunted
by multiple spirits

because of the amounts
of history

and the artifacts
that are inside of it.

We would not expect them
to get

what we got in the end.

a motion detector
security camera

in her living room

to keep an eye on her
and her roommate,

Klay's dogs,

while they're at work.

To her surprise,

the very first time
Sarah checks the footage,

she sees something
concerning.

and this is the footage
from inside my house.

I was just kind of playing
around with the footage

from the night before

when I found this.

Watch as the motion detector

captures Sarah on camera

when she arrives home
late from work.

Her roommate, Klay,
is asleep in his bedroom.

Suddenly, something else
triggers the camera

and redirects it
to the living room.

At first, there appears
to be nothing there

but then just a minute later,

there are orbs,
dozens of them

floating in all
different directions.

Sarah is stunned.

I froze.

I said, "Oh, my gosh,
what is this?"

You can see them coming out
of corners of the wall.

I was going through the wall

and there is no...

There's no explaining
this to me.

This is not just
dust particles.

You can explain
dust particles.

You can't explain
something moving

that rapidly that much,

changing directions
so quickly

and then all gravitating

towards one area there
of the house.

For me, orbs alone

are usually not compelling
evidence of the paranormal

but in this clip, we're seeing
a whole cluster of orbs

moving in wildly
different directions.

These are not dust particles
being blown across the room

by an HVAC System.

These are like dancing,
swirling orbs.

It was really captivating
to watch it.

Then Sarah notices
something else on the video.

You can hear almost
like a somber music playing

and there was nothing
really odd in the house

except for my TV upstairs,

but this sounds like it's
directly next to the camera.

I think when you hear
musical tones

and sounds like that,

I think it's just another form

of spirits trying
to communicate.

It caught me off guard
because I've never heard

any sound like that before.

But even more shocking

and much more concerning
is that Sarah's roommate,

Klay, woke up
with scratches on his chest.

It was right after
the video was taken,

uh, maybe within a day
or two,

he woke up
with scratches on his chest.

He slept with his shirt on,
there was...

There are no tears.

If his dog
had clawed on him and it's...

At night or if he had been
scratching himself,

there would've marks
on his shirt from it

and there wasn't.

I'll tell you
right now why scratches occur

on backs and chests,

it's because you have
pretty much

like an energetic portal
in those areas.

I mean, some people
like to call it chakras.

When the spirits enter you
in these areas,

you will have blisters,

you'll have what looks
like scratches,

and even swelling.
So...

And it's a huge misconception
that people were getting

attacked by spirits when
they're going into a location,

when really
they're being communicated to.

There appears
to be a myriad

of activity taking place
in this woman's home.

Between the orbs,
the chimes,

and even the scratches,

it suggest there
is a pattern here,

the challenge
is trying to decipher

the meaning behind all of it.

Which is what Sarah

has been trying to do

are spirits passing

through
or unsettled spirits...

so I'm thinking

what if it's just a portal
for them to pass through?

The idea of portals
is very interesting

because you never know
when one's gonna pop up,

that could be a entrance
to some place that's, uh,

other worldly and, uh,
and I don't think

you really want
that in your living room.

Sarah couldn't agree more

and although her camera
hasn't captured

anything since,
that one incident

was enough
to keep her on edge.

I'm terrified
to be in my living room

and I'll be honest about that
and ever since finding this,

because I'm a big believer,
so this kind of terrifies me

and I never used to
in this house have feeling

like something's behind me
but now I'm starting

to have it
because I know it's there.

...stuns
a man in New York City.

it's a space ship.

When you think
of the typical locations

of UFO sightings,
there are a few traits

that immediately
come to mind.

Rural, sparsely populated,
and free

from any light sources
that would make seeing

the objects in the sky
much more difficult.

Which makes
this next sighting

all the more remarkable

because it happened above one
of the biggest, brightest,

and most populated cities
in the world,

and blew the minds
of the young men

who captured it on camera.

are heading to a corner store

when they noticed
something strange hovering

above their neighborhood
in The Bronx.

I see, bro.

It's a small
orange light in the sky.

And the closer they get,

the more bizarre
and out of place it seems.

and this is my video.

Me and a friend were going
to the corner store

and he noticed something
in the air and he's like,

"Yo, that's a UFO."

And I'm like,
seeing on the video,

I'm like,
"No, it's not a UFO."

And I look up
and I'm saying to myself,

I can't even explain that,
and I'm like filming it

and I'm like, "What is that?"

I've lived in California,
I've lived in Atlanta,

I've lived in DC,
I lived here for 13 years,

and I've never seen anything
like what's happening here.

You can imagine
what a fireball

look like from, like,
maybe a comic book

or somebody shooting
a fireball.

This ball was like fire,
it was...

Like, energy was coming
from around it

and you can see it circling.

That don't look like no...

That's definitely
satellite.

I live
in New York City

and you know when something
is out of the ordinary

in the sky.

Normally you can't even see
stars so when

there is this glowing mass
of orange light

that appears
to almost be burning,

it makes you take notice.

When he zooms this in,

you can see this orange,
reddish hue of this orb.

It's a solid object that seems
to be made of some kind

of plasma-like material
and this is a great capture.

And incredibly
this isn't the only time

Adam witnesses
an object like this.

In fact, he's seen several
recently, in the same area.

This one showed up
just two days later

and appeared to be
white in color.

And this one
on December 21st, 2020.

Every night
in our neighborhood

when it's clear,
they're there,

one time like kind
of maybe like 12:00.

Wow.

Oh. Right.
It's no sound.

If you just walk by, you
would just assume honestly

they were stars or, oh,
that looks like

a very close bright star
but these actually move,

they don't stay
in the same place every night

but they're always there.

So what exactly
are these objects

and why are they returning

to this same spot again
and again?

When I see
something like this

in the sky
that looks like a fireball,

you know, I think energy
like a ball of light

like an orb, you know,
something that's more of like

a clustered energy
and not necessarily

something that has to be
surveilling us

or controlled intelligently.

If it is something
alien in nature,

it's probably
disguising itself as, uh,

an orange ball
or a white ball,

or something but why?

Is it observing us,
is it looking for something?

Adam
as the same questions

and though he has yet
to see any reports

about what these
objects might've been,

he knows
that what he captured

is anything but normal.

I felt a little
weirded out about it,

honestly, like, you know,
I'm not a paranormal person,

I'm not a, um,
a conspiracy type person

but I also believe in science
and I also believe

in what I see
with my own eyes.

So whatever's going on
in my community

in the sky every night,
the government

or somebody has to
know what's going on

because what it...

what it is not normal.

Florida's famous cryptid...

...makes
another appearance.

Florida
is home to some

of the world's most exotic
creatures but perhaps

its most fascinating
inhabitant

is a reclusive cryptid
that's been steeped

in lore for centuries.

It's said to stand
nearly seven feet tall,

weigh over 300 pounds,
and live deep in the swamps.

And those who've encountered
it describe

a pungent foul stench

emitting from
its hairy body...

it's known as the skunk ape.

And one man in central
Florida seems

to have captured the illusive
creature on camera.

March 2013,
Myakka, Florida.

Mike Falconer and his son
are driving through

Myakka River State Park
when they see some cars

on the side of the road
and a few people staring

into a marshy field.

So they pull over and get out
to see what's going on.

There was apparently
something in the distance

that has caught
everyone's attention.

And it appears to be

a very large hairy figure.

They can see
the little speck

with the naked eye
but their camera

is clearly unable to get
a good shot at this distance.

So they move farther
into the wetlands.

Mike is now able to get
a slightly better shot

of the figure.

You can see the rough outline
of it here

but it's still
not clear enough.

So he switches his phone
to photo mode

and what he captures
is startling.

It is even bigger
than they thought

and clearly covered in fur,
they know immediately

that this is no human being,

this is something else
entirely.

The still images
are way more compelling

than the video footage.

That's where you really start
to see what looks like

a hominid bipedal

large brown hairy creature.

You see the fur,
the shape of this thing

is huge
and there's a couple

of still shots were we can see
the face of this creature

from the side profile
and there's a grayish color

to this.

It looks like
the limbs are longer

than a human's might be.

It's just like
the general vibe

of it that just feels
a little bit more

like a primate than a human.

And in these parts,

there's only one creature
that fits that description.

The skunk ape.

Every place
in the United States

has some sort of creature
or legend

that goes along with it.

And Florida's no exception.

As suppose
to the tradition Sasquatch,

the skunk ape is said
to be smaller in size

and more of a rusty
reddish color

and it's face appears to be
more like that of a gibbon.

This is a bipedal
humanoid creature

with long stringing
matted hair.

The crazy thing
about the skunk ape

is it said to be
a little bit more angry

than your normal bigfoot,
also the stench

is reported to smell
like a skunk or a hot garbage.

And a lot of people believe
that's where the name

actually came from.

Some people
also believe

that the stench is a way
to ward off

and would-be pursuers
and that desire to be

left alone could also explain
why these creatures

are most often spotted
in environments like this.

This is where
a lot of these creatures

are seen
because this is a great

food source.

Frogs, snakes, fish,
everything is there

but it's a place that we,
as human beings,

try not to trek into because
it's kind of treacherous,

you're dealing
with alligators

and poisonous snakes
but to the skunk ape,

this is home
and it's a great place

to hide and evade
crying eyes.

Florida has dozens,
if not hundreds

of sightings
of this creature

in the past 20 or 30 years.

So given that information,
Florida could be crawling

with skunk apes.

And in fact
the skunk ape

was most famously
caught on video

in the everglades
back in 2000.

Just a hundred
and forty miles away

from where Mike
took his photos

and the similarities
are undeniable.

The thing is that
is it the same creature

or do we have several
of these creatures?

Are they breeding?

Are they, you know,
growing a population?

We may never know

the answers
to those questions

but when it comes

to these mysterious
smelly cryptids,

one thing's for sure.

We've seen skunk ape
activity before this clip

but also a ton
after this clip.

It seems like the skunk ape
is here to stay.

What should you do

in the event you witness
something paranormal?

Keep your eyes on the skies.
