understandable, but, as you know, I couldn't remove the

tumor in its entirety. It's size and location--it was

just too risky, too dangerous. But we believe that we can

shrink it. >> Will: How?

>> Sarah: Well, that's where it gets a bit tricky.

>> Will: "Tricky" is not a word that I would prefer to hear when

it comes to the tumor in my head.

>> Sarah: Right, well, we have a lot of options as far as

treatments. >> Will: Okay, what kind of

options? >> Sarah: Well, we'll start with

radiation, which I'm sure you know is not exactly the most

pleasant experience. >> Sonny: And what are the side

effects? >> Rex: Fatigue, nausea, some

patients complain of foggy brain, memory loss.

>> Will: Well, I've been there. Is my hair gonna fall out?

>> Rex: Maybe, not necessarily. >> Sonny: And then how will we

know if the radiation is actually working.

>> Sarah: Well, by monitoring the size of the tumor.

>> Rex: Tumors grow differently and we're hoping that yours is a

slow growing one. >> Will: Okay, what if radiation

doesn't work? >> Sarah: Well, let's try it

first before we talk about other treatment options.

>> Rex: Yeah, guys, I know that this is a lot to take in all at

once, but let's focus on the fact that this was the best

possible news that we could have received today.

>> Sarah: But you know what, we will give you a few minutes

to process it. >> Rex: Yeah, you know what,

biopsy, and the tumor is benign. [chuckles]

He and Sonny must be very relieved.
