Electricity is the backbone
of our civilization.

It is used by billions
on a daily basis

and at this point,

touches almost every aspect
of our lives.

But what if we told you
that the infrastructure

that provides us
with electricity

also provides
paranormal entities

with an intricate network
of travel routes,

enabling them to show up
anytime, anywhere

at a moment's notice?

Crazy, right?

Not for a woman in Arkansas

who may have captured this
bizarre phenomenon in action,

when some kind of
elemental creature

manifested from a streetlight.

August, 2020,
Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Kelly Nickell
is in a parking lot

waiting to meet a friend

when she notices
something odd happening

to a nearby streetlight.

So she starts recording
on her dash cam.

Watch as what appears to be
a glowing blob of energy

emerges from the light,
drop slowly toward the ground,

and then after a few moments,

almost seems to bounce
across the parking lot.

And if you think this
is simply something moving

on the lens of the camera,

look again.

As it approaches
the right side of the screen,

it appears to be split
by this pole in the parking lot.

Kelly is blown away.

My name is Kelly,
and this is my video.

It looked different in person
than it did on camera.

It was more pronounced
than the naked eye.

It was kind of distorted
and moving in an odd way

that normally when it's raining
and you look at a light,

that's what it would look like.

In this instance,
it wasn't raining.

Um, so there was no reason

for it to be morphing
and looking like that.

It did not scare me.
I actually felt excited.

It doesn't frighten me at all.

It wasn't coming towards me.
It wasn't speaking to me.

It was moving away.
And it actually is kind of cool.

So what was it
that Kelly captured that night?

At first I thought it
might have been a bead of water

just dripping down
that happened to coincide

with the position
of the streetlight

until it started to walk.

And it even seemed
to have gait.

You can see shoulders
and arms and legs

as it walked away.

And I'm --
I'm baffled by that.

Usually when people see
light anomalies,

they're a ball of light,

whether it's in the sky
or in your basement.

Usually it's a very consistent
shape that looks like a orb.

But this is changing shape
the entire time that we see it.

And it's acting in a way that is
very unusual and strange.

I truly don't know
what this could be.

McNEILL: This is a really
bizarre phenomenon.

It looked like
a plasma creature.

It almost looked like the light
gave birth to this creature

that then had
an immediate sense of purpose

and set off to go achieve it,
which is distressing.

I've seen spirits
and ghosts of human beings

able to manifest, you know,

electromagnetic energy
and devices,

drain batteries from cameras,

even manipulate light fixtures
and things of that sort.

But this is on some other level.

This is a-a totally different,
you know,

alchemical process in practice

that leads me to believe

that this is some sort of
extra dimensional being

walking within our realm,
using our energy

to manifest itself
within our plane of existence.

This almost appears
to be energetic in nature,

almost like an inhuman entity.

And where my mind goes to

are sightings of nature spirits,
elementals.

That's what these look like

according to people
who have seen them,

Elementals are
a form of inhuman entities,

which means they have
never inhabited a human body.

They are as old
as the Earth itself.

Whether it was
an elemental

an extra dimensional being,
or just a plain old ghost,

the experience solidified
Kelly's beliefs.

I've always been open minded.

I've never been a skeptic.

I think overall, this experience
has been positive.

I think it's opened my eyes
to what could be, what can be.

And it makes me think
about life and the afterlife.

And there's nothing
wrong with that.

Um, it's -- it's something
that we all need to think about.

From the outside,
the McInteer Villa in Kansas

looks like a beautiful
Victorian style home.

But things aren't always
what they seem.

It was built in 1889
by John McInteer,

an Irish immigrant
who made a fortune

selling harnesses and saddles.

Since then, there have been
nine documented deaths

on the property...

and one suicide.

With that type of dark history,

it's no wonder
the house is said to be

one of the most haunted
locations in the Midwest.

Today, the villa
can be rented out

and is popular
among paranormal enthusiasts.

Recently, a group
of ghost hunters went there

hoping to gather
some evidence of their own.

And the villa
did not disappoint.

After a fruitful first visit
to the McInteer Villa,

Michael Johnson,
Kyla Pillow, and Joey Harper

have returned to investigate it
for a second time.

This entire house
just gives you an eerie feeling

whenever you're inside of it.

And not long after they arrive,

they already start to feel
a bit uneasy.

My name is Michael Johnson,
and this is my video.

Usually when I walk
into the villa,

you can definitely sense

that there is
something else around you.

It's a feeling of eyes on you.

And you can't really tell where
those eyes are coming from,

but you can tell
that something there

is just paying attention to you.

And according to
the owner, Stephanie O'Reilly,

it's not just a feeling.

There is indeed
something watching you.

When we've got to the villa,

we asked if she's caught
any really compelling evidence

since the last time
we'd been there.

And she told us, "Yes."

She had somebody there
that had taken a photo,

and in the photo
they saw a clear silhouette

of what looked to be, like,

a shadow figure
of almost, like, a man.

But you can see in the picture

that the eyes
kind of are reflective

or have a glowing quality
to them,

which is, you know,
always spooky.

Now, that photo was chilling.

The form, dark, shadowy.
The eyes, glowing.

These are the things
that nightmares are made of.

It's pretty obvious
that whatever spirit

was captured in this photograph

is well aware of
the person taking the photo

because it is looking
right at the camera.

That definitely to me indicates
an intelligence entity.

Hoping to establish
communication with that entity

or any other spirits
inhabiting the villa,

Michael, Joey, and Kyla
begin their investigation

by using a technique
called the Estes method.

Basically, what I'm gonna do,
I'm gonna put on a blindfold.

I'm gonna put the headphones on
with the spirit box running.

So I'm gonna be the only one

that can hear
what the spirit box is saying.

They're gonna be
the ones asking questions

so we can see if we get
some appropriate responses.

Remember, Michael
is not hearing the questions.

He is only repeating
what the spirit box says

through the headphones.

How old are you?

Nine.

Oh, my God.

Can you tell us
what your name is?

Look.

Where?

Room.

What room?

Picture.

While I was sitting there
with the headphones on,

I was just saying the words

that I was hearing in my ears
through the static.

I didn't know the context
until I took off the headphones.

And once they had told me
the questions they were asking

and the answers I was giving,

that's kind of
when I had that moment of,

"Wow." What -- We really
were talking to somebody.

Can you tell us something
about the room

so we know
which one it is?

Man.

The room
with the man in it?

Soldier.

The library.

I have chills all over
my entire body right now.

The group
then heads to the library...

Whoever we
were talking to said

go to the room
with the soldier.

Yeah, they wanted us
to go in here.

And they said, "Picture."

...and eventually seem to find

what the spirit
was leading them to.

There is a picture of
a little girl there.

Is that it, maybe?

That's so weird.
It's a little girl.

How old does she look?

9, maybe.

I feel like I heard nine.
What age did I say?

9.

'Cause I remember saying --
I remember saying, "Nine,"

like, but I didn't know
the context.

I wonder if that's
who was talking to me?

It's just one of those moments
where you get chills.

But at the same time,

it's just incredible
to feel like

I really was communicating
with something.

And this isn't
the first time

Michael has communicated
with spirits at the villa.

During the team's last visit,

Michael established contact
in this very same room

by using another device
from his paranormal toolkit,

dowsing rods.

I have my dowsing rods with me.

We're gonna try
a dowsing rod session in here

to see if anything
will communicate using these.

Usually dowsing rods
are made from

a mixture of copper and brass,

which are themselves
conduits of energy.

And when you mix that
with your living energy,

you can establish a connection
with the other side.

If there's anybody
in this room with me,

can you cross the rods
to let me know that you're here?

It was a great moment.

He asks if there are
any spirits in the room

and can you cross the rods
if there are.

And the rods cross immediately.

And they definitely cross
with purpose.

And it seems that
he was receiving an answer

from some kind of spirit.

So in my opinion,
if I had to give my best guess,

I would say
that this is some kind of

apparitional or intelligent
type of haunting.

Can you point both rods
in the direction of the room

that you're standing in?

It is not typical
to get answers like that.

There have been times
that I've used dowsing rods

and they have just stayed
perfectly still

and not moved at all.

That crossed really quick.

Between the two investigations,

Michael, Kyla, and Joey

gathered more than enough
evidence to confirm

that the McInteer Villa
is, in fact...

haunted.

This experience
at the McInteer Villa

and using the Estes method
was a game changer for me.

Knowing that you can
use a method

to clearly communicate
with the spirit

and have it direct you

to something it wanted you
to see is --

it's just incredible.

at a secluded campsite
along the Llano River.

After his daughter goes to bed,

JC stays up
to enjoy the campfire

when he suddenly spots
something in the sky.

And it's unlike anything
he's ever seen before.

Uh, there's
something flying...

over the river.

We're here at camp.

And there's something...

that keeps coming
in and out of view.

It's in the distance.

It's going, like,
behind the tree line.

I'm gonna try to zoom in.

It's, like, really weird.

When I first saw it
up in the air,

I wasn't sure
what I was looking at.

So I thought maybe a drone,
but I kind of ruled that out.

It wasn't making any noise,
any sound, or whatsoever.

There's no noise.
No sound.

It looked almost like,
uh, bioluminescence --

things that you would see,
like, underwater,

like jellyfishes would do.

But it was up in the sky.

It would come
in and out of view.

At first it would show up
and it would be there,

and then it would do, like,
a little bit of a light show.

It's, like, really weird.

But you see like three of them
joining together,

and then, like,
they split and they rejoin.

And then it would
completely disappear

and it would reappear
and then it would move.

So it was nothing
that I've seen before.

It's really weird.

The bizarre object

hangs around
for about 15 minutes,

then goes out of sight.

When he gets home,
JC posts his video online

to see if anyone
can help identify what it is.

Everybody said a drone.

But, uh, due to
the location that we were at,

the nearest highway
is about 10 miles away

and the closest little town's

about another
30, 40 minutes away.

So it was very secluded area.

McNEILL:
If this were a drone,

if this were
something being controlled

by an unseen human
on the ground,

we would expect it
to make noise.

This is something
we're familiar with.

We know what drones sound like.

And this was silent.

I think that's significant

to the perception
of what's going on here.

Something big enough
and clear enough to be seen

as well as we can see this

should be making
some sort of auditory impact.

So if it wasn't
a drone, then what was it?

My initial reaction
to this UFO video was,

"Wow, bravo.
What a great capture,"

because there are
several elements with this video

that I was noticing right away.

There is no signs of propulsion.

And this thing
is just moving along

at a pace where it seems
like these lights

are shooting back and forth
between each other

as it seems to be some kind of
a power generator itself.

And I think we have a legitimate
UFO capture on film.

But you see like
three of them joining together,

and then, like,
they split and they rejoin.

It's, like, really weird.

With the way
this thing's blinking,

it makes me think perhaps
it's -- it's malfunctioning.

Is there something
wrong with it?

Is it struggling
to stay in the sky?

Or is it possibly communicating?

Is it some sort of beacon
or Morse code-like signal?

The lights seem to be
oscillating,

like almost breathing.

It didn't feel erratic
in any way.

It was definitely fluid,
but changing.

So is that some sort of
cloaking device

that we're seeing glimpses of it
going in and out?

It's really weird.

I'd like to challenge this clip
and not call it a UFO,

but call it a cryptid.

Because it looks to me

like something you would see
in the deep ocean.

You see these rods of light

inside this gelatinous
floating bioluminescent shape.

So it makes total sense to me

that this would manifest
over a body of water.

And thinking in that head space,

I do believe that this could be
a flying jellyfish of sorts.

Anything is possible.

whatever it was that JC captured
on camera that night

is still up for debate.

But he feels fortunate

to have gotten
a glimpse of something

that could prove we are not
alone in this universe.

I just happened to be

at the right place
at the right time.

I've always been
kind of skeptic,

and it's more to
I won't believe till I see it.

But seeing this made me believe
a little bit more.

For us to really think
that there's nothing else

besides us in this vast universe
is kind of --

it's kind of insane.

You know, we have to understand

that if we're able
to have life here,

there's got to be life
somewhere else, as well.

There's something flying
over the river.

It's really weird.

certain animals have been linked
to signs of impending doom.

Many believe that if
a black cat crosses your path,

it is a symbol of bad luck.

In Celtic mythology,
a white stag is an indicator

that the other world is near.

And in literature
and popular culture,

blackbirds
like ravens and crows

are thought to pretend
the arrival of very dark forces,

which is what might have been
happening one day in Texas

when thousands of blackbirds

descended on this grocery store
parking lot...

Oh, this is so weird.

...terrifying everyone in sight.

What's going on?

December, 2016
in Carrollton, Texas.

Lindsey Venable has
just finished grocery shopping

when she looks outside and sees
something dark and terrifying

swarming in the sky above.

Fearing for her safety,
she makes a run for her car

and gets there
just in the nick of time.

Then she takes out her phone
and starts to record.

Um, I'm getting
attacked by birds.

This is terrifying.

What happens if I honk?

Aah! What's going on?

Thousands of
blackbirds known as Grackles

are descending
onto the parking lot,

trapping Lindsey in her car.

My name is Lindsey,
and this is my video.

Oh, this is so weird.

When I got outside,

I noticed there were
a lot of birds swarming around.

And by the time
I got to my car,

I was surrounded
by all of these birds.

I got in my car just in time.
This is ridiculous.

Wow.

There were a lot of people

that decided to wait
just at the entrance of the door

instead of trying
to walk to their car.

I should have done that,

but I felt safer
being in my car, actually.

A wise choice,

because it was clear
that she was indeed

much safer in her car.

This is terrifying.

When they were
on top of my car,

I could hear
their talons tapping.

They're on top of my car.

And it was quite loud
just to hear their little taps.

Go away.

Oh, my God.

And I know a lot of people
would see this footage

and think
that it is quite scary.

And rightfully so.

This is something straight out
of an Alfred Hitchcock film.

Whenever you get a swarm
of blackbirds like this,

it puts forth an ominous feel.

I can't imagine anyone
that was present to see this

felt like they were
going to make it home

in time for dinner.

It looks like these birds
didn't know what to do,

like something was wrong.

Like something in the air
was about to happen.

Flying in circles.

It almost seems like

they were forced out of the sky
by something,

perhaps not of good nature.

We just don't know what it is.

This is ridiculous.

Oh, this is so weird.

Lindsey later
posted her video online,

and the comments she got
were not comforting.

People were saying it was
a sign of the end times.

"Something bad to you
is gonna happen."

"Get out of the area."

So if this was a sign
of something bad to come,

what is that something
and when is it coming?

Throughout history,
birds have been seen as omens.

An augury is actually
the art of interpreting birds

as a sign of things to come,

and it goes back
to ancient Rome.

One bird, maybe two birds,

doesn't necessarily seem
like an intimidating omen.

But when you see this swarm

almost behaving
as a unified organism,

that's intimidating.

And maybe
it's Mother Nature herself

sending mankind
an unmistakable message.

It is very unnerving

to see swarms of animals
invading a space.

But really, we have to think
about who are the true invaders?

And it's really
the concrete jungle

that we humans have built up
in the path of nature

over the last
several hundred years.

So you will have this collision

of nature
and manmade structures.

Regardless if this
is a natural phenomenon or not,

it is incredibly freaky.

I've been in
a similar situation.

I was stuck in my car
for over two hours

because of crows,
and it was terrifying.

Oh, this is so weird.

Luckily, Lindsey
walked away unharmed that day.

But it's something
she will never forget.

Ever since
I posted this video,

I think about being there
in my car at the time

and how it could
possibly happen again.

And as far as she knows,

nothing bad
has yet come to pass...

or maybe it has.

There were no scratches
on my car,

but there was
a lot of, um, poop.

Ew. Got to get
in the car wash.

an apparition pops by
for a quick visit.

There are many theories

as to what happens to us
after we die...

but no definitive answers.

And the fear of the unknown
can be scary

for those who are nearing
the end of their lives.

But there are some who believe
that as we approach death,

we might receive a visit
from a familiar face

who's there to usher us
peacefully and without fear

to the other side.

A woman in Texas might have
captured proof of this

when she recorded
one of these visitations

just a few months
before a loved one passed away.

November, 2019
in Portland, Texas,

Norma Leal has been taking care

of her terminally ill Mother,
Teresa, for the past two months.

Tonight,
Norma is feeling overwhelmed,

so she asks her father,

who passed away more than
10 years ago, for guidance.

At that very moment,
her home security camera

captures movement
on the front porch.

When Norma checks to see
what set it off,

she cannot believe her eyes.

Watch closely
as a ghost-like figure

sits down on the porch swing
and rocks back and forth.

Once Norma gets over
her initial shock,

she is sure she knows who it is.

My name is Norma,
and this is my video.

I kept looking at it
over and over.

And the first thing
that really came to my mind

'cause I had just had
a conversation with my dad,

I let my emotions out,
and I felt it was him.

I know it was him.
I really do.

My first impression
on seeing this is...wow.

Just wow.

I almost get a sense --

it's as if it is picking

this particular spot
on the swing for a reason.

According to Norma,

that's exactly
what it was doing,

because the apparition
just happens to be sitting

in the same spot
her father used to sit in

when he would have a cigaret
years ago.

It brought me
a lot of comfort, actually.

I didn't know
what was gonna happen.

I was really afraid for my mom.

But after that, I felt good.

I had a feeling of peace.

This is the kind of video

that makes believers
out of people.

Where the visual evidence
is so compelling

and the narrative context

adds so much logical sense
to what we're seeing,

that I feel this is one of

the most compelling videos
that I've seen.

Norma shows the video
to her mother

and it makes her mom smile.

The first words
that came out of her mouth was,

"They're coming for me."

And then I even told my mom,
"I think it was Dad."

And, um, she agreed.
She thought it was him, too.

McNEILL: That is a very commonly
reported experience,

and it feels like
with this video,

we're getting a glimpse
at that same experience of --

of the people, the loved ones
from the other side,

arriving to wait and greet
the member of their family

who's headed towards them.

I would be
deeply, deeply comforted

if I were any member
of this family.

And stories like this
are not uncommon.

A lot of
hospice workers do report

that the people
in their final moments, uh,

will call out
family members' names

or seem to be talking to people
that -- that aren't in the room.

It is pretty remarkable,

and it's something
that I do believe in.

And be a really nice thought
that people are -- are there

kind of easing you through
the next part of your journey.

Three months to the day

after Norma captured this video,

her mother passed away.

And she finds comfort

that the spirit of what
might have been her father

stopped by to help
make that transition smoother.

It has changed my life
tremendously

because now I know for a fact
that there is an afterlife.

I think that, um,
they are reunited now.

In fact, I know so.
I know they are.

bizarre objects appear
in the sky over California.

I have no idea
what this thing is.

Perception
is the ability

to become aware of something
through your senses.

And the input
from all of those senses

acts like a lens
through which we view the world.

But there are many who believe
that our perception is limited

and that, in fact,
we are only aware

of a fraction
of what is happening around us.

A man in California

may have experienced
this phenomenon firsthand

when he captured
this incredible UFO on video

flanked by two others,

all of which were invisible
to the naked eye.

what this thing is.

Professional videographer
Richard Cranor

shoots an orange grove
for a client with his drone.

The next day
as he reviews the footage,

he sees something
that wasn't visible

while he was filming.

There are three objects
in the distance,

a large rectangular one
in the center

and two smaller objects
on either side of it.

Unable to fathom
what he has seen,

or even how he's seeing it,

Richard posts his video online
along with his own analysis,

hoping to find some answers.

Here we are launching
the drone off the truck

and in the spin around,

you will see this object
in the back.

And that was a bee
that just buzzed by.

I did not see this object
with the naked eye.

This is something that I found

in the footage
scrubbing through.

And I have no idea
what this thing is.

My name is Richard,
and this is my video.

When I was there filming,
I just --

I didn't notice any of that.

That's why I was like,
"What the hell is that?"

It just didn't make
any sense to me.

So that's when I zoomed in.

And luckily, I shot it, uh,
in 2K,

which is a higher resolution
than 1080p.

And that allowed me to kind of
zoom in a little bit more.

And that's when I started
seeing the other objects.

I know it's just a little speck,
but I'll blow it up in a second.

You'll see it maneuver, uh,
quite radically to the left

after it appears.

So there it is. Bam!

And then watch it disappear.

And then it'll come back
and spin off to the left.

The first two objects,
the large banner

and the other smaller object
that was next to it,

that was already interesting.

So I was kind of
glued into that.

But it wasn't until I saw
the other object

that flew right next to it.

That really kind of --
that tripped me out

because of the way it came
in and out of the clouds.

That just seemed very odd to me.

The way it was flying,

it wasn't typical of what
you see most aircraft perform,

the maneuvers they perform.

So that was the object
that really made me wonder,

"Wow, I wonder
what's going on here?"

So there's a lot of stuff
flying around here, guys,

and I don't know
what any of it is.

What puzzled Richard
even more is that to him,

the flying objects were clearly
breaking FAA regulations.

In the real world,

the FAA would never allow

another object to fly like that
that close.

The risks associated with that
are pretty great.

So what were
those objects in the sky?

So what's interesting
is that we are seeing

more and more UFOs
like this on this show.

We've seen them
flying over Phoenix.

It's definitely square
or rectangular in nature to me.

I don't see any plane
in front of that.

And like that sighting,

the object Richard saw had
no visible means of propulsion.

It definitely was not
a banner attached to a biplane

flying over
an agricultural field.

I mean, first of all,
the thing is pitch black.

I mean, what would it
be advertising?

You can't see any writing
or anything on this thing.

Why would it be out there?

And what about
the other two objects

flying nearby?

Are they escorting
this larger one?

Is it some sort of, uh,
coordinated mission

that they're on?

I mean, we do that
with our Navy cruisers

and with our large bombers.

We have smaller craft
that are quicker

and can defend aircraft carriers
and ships like that.

It's not that much of a stretch
of the imagination to imagine

that's the scenario
that we see going on here.

Or you could stretch
your imagination even further.

To me, this diamond rectangular
shaped object in the sky

isn't really an object.
It's a portal.

And the reason why it seems
like this empty square space

is moving slowly

is because we know that
the earth is constantly moving.

It's rotating on its axis
around the sun in its orbit.

So that's the reason why
it gives the illusion

that this portal
is slowly moving,

when in reality,
the portal is stationary,

but the planet is moving.

And I believe
that the two crafts

that we see in this footage

are coming from that portal.

Something to consider.

But still, why were none of them
visible with the naked eye?

Richard has a theory.

I think human perception
is limited by something.

We're just -- We're just
not configured properly

to see the entire bandwidth
of reality.

So I think these UFOs
are some other phenomenons

that's intersecting
right on the fringes

of what our perception, uh,
can handle.

You know, whatever our
nervous system is configured to

is what we're
going to experience.

I've done
a lot of research on this

because I am fascinated by it.

As with the majority
of UFO sightings,

there are many questions
left unanswered.

But Richard plans to continue
seeking out the truth.

This experience,
at the end of the day,

keep questioning

there's much more going on

the not living in fear of it

allowing the stigma

to stop myself or anyone else

from -- from asking
the bigger questions

that need to be asked.
