often report seeing a mist rise up into the sky.

...a mechanic is visited by an angel...

or is it a fairy?

It's an interesting clip.

It's has two long legs like a human with wings.

Is there a howl cryptid in the Kentucky woods?

It's one of those sounds that just

makes the hair on your neck stand up.

Will this ghost hunter survive...

...an attack?

As soon as he got too close. Boom!

The ghost said, "You're out of here, buddy.

This is my sanctuary."

Plus, even more paranormal footage you have to see...

to believe.

The Loire Valley of France is known

for its majestic castles dating back centuries

that were once home to the kings and queens of France.

But hidden in this region's countryside lies a massive,

abandoned building with a tortured past...

filled with sorrow and pain.

When one young French man and his sister dared

to venture inside this building,

they made a highly unusual encounter

that would prove incredibly dangerous...

...because not only did they see an entity...

...twice...

...one of them was also attacked.

In the spring of 2013...

...Jessy and his sister Alex

set off to explore this abandoned building

in Beaumont-la-Ronce, France.

Built in 1906,

this dilapidated building once served as an orphanage,

a hospital and even a hospice.

People lived and died on these premises,

and rumor has it...

it's haunted.

But before they even step foot inside...

they hear something...

...a haunting wail.

Although clearly freaked out,

Jessy convinces his sister to enter.

The inside is equally terrifying

with visible signs of creepiness everywhere.

But the haunting is just beginning.

Jessy and Alex go back to the front door...

...when they suddenly see a figure.

Did you catch that?

It looks like the ghost

or shadow of a woman dressed in period clothing.

We have a fully formed human figure

with no detail whatsoever

other than the fact that it is a well-formed,

completely solid,

black-shrouded figure,

very similar to the way

shadow figures are always described.

Very rarely ghosts, you know, appear as total human forms,

total, you know, three-dimensional everything.

It's a very rare sighting.

You would see something like this,

maybe 1 out of 2,000.

It's pretty remarkable.

But their curiosity overcomes their fear

as the siblings go in pursuit of the mysterious entity.

It's her again -- the woman in black.

But it's too late.

Jessy is determined.

Jessy!

Aah!

I've seen people touched, pushed, pulled

by something -- an entity, a spirit --

and when you encounter that,

when you look at them, they are not okay.

Typically, the blood is drained from their face.

They look shaken.

They look changed.

Right before you get, you know,

hit or touched or whatever,

hair on your back stands up,

you get like a tingling feeling or you get like a cold feeling,

or you just get some kind of like, you know --

you know, heaviness in your chest.

And then, you know, all of a sudden

there's this weird thing happens to you.

On occasion, investigators will actually experience

something like what this guy experienced.

It's some sort of emotional shift.

It's not quite a possession, but it'll drain you of your energy.

It'll put the thoughts in your head

that don't have a reason for being there --

sadness, anger, that kind of thing.

It basically makes you shut down.

Now, a lot of times people will leave the building

and within a couple hours

they're back to normal and completely fine.

But this is something that happens from time to time.

Jessy is dazed

but able to get himself up and out of the building,

which at this point is all both of them want to do.

When I watch this,

I think something doesn't want you there.

Something wants to be left alone in this structure.

However, the flip side could also be true

that maybe it wants to interact

and this is the way that it's trying to show,

"Hey, I'm here. Let's talk."

It's hard to determine whether or not

encounters like this gentleman actually suffered

end up having long-term effects.

I can't tell you one way or another,

but I can say that allowing an outside entity

to control your thoughts and emotions,

that can't be good for you in any way.

So if it were me, I would try to avoid these situations.

A part of that experience can stay with you.

You can end up with some sort of connection to another plane

or to the other side.

Or now you're doomed and haunted forever.

Suffice it to say,

Jessy and Alex both learned a valuable lesson that day.

Never underestimate the power of the paranormal.

...cries for help.

Determined spirits looking to deliver a message

will use any means necessary to break through

and make contact with the living world.

They move objects, tamper with their surroundings,

appear as ghostly apparitions,

or if they're desperate enough,

they can even speak to us through disembodied voices.

And that's exactly what happened

when one terrified young mother of two

heard the inexplicable cry of someone --

or something -- pleading for help.

In the summer of 2019,

Houston resident Chelesie Ilbery,

a mother of two, was heading back into her house

carrying an armful of laundry

when a voice suddenly stopped her dead in her tracks.

This video was shot at my home.

I heard it, like, so clearly that it, like,

totally stunned me.

Like, it was almost like a frozen feeling.

I stayed in that spot and listened.

I was a little bit freaked out, and I kind of waited

until I stopped hearing anything.

Sounded like somebody in duress --

like they were physically hurt

and they needed somebody to, like, rescue them

or assist them.

Chelesie sees no one around,

and that freaks her out.

So she goes back inside her house

and reviews the footage from her security camera

and confirms that she definitely wasn't hearing things.

Terrified, she calls the police.

It freaked me out because I have two babies in the house,

so I locked everything down and put them in my room,

locked the door and waited for the police to come.

They arrived minutes later.

...that I wasn't just hearing something.

Chelesie plays the footage for them.

I wanted him to actually hear the audio,

so I put it up to his ear so he could hear it better.

He did seem worried.

and he was the one that was insistent

on checking the garage.

The officers search the premises,

find no one, and leave.

This confirms Chelesie's worst fear --

that what she heard...

Please help me!

...was a disembodied voice.

One of the more popular tropes in paranormal investigating

is the disembodied voice,

which is essentially just that -- a voice without a body.

You'll hear "help me" or "get out"

or something along those lines,

and there'll be no person, no one around.

It's just a voice.

Could this have been a spirit

that was audibly trying to contact this woman,

asking for help, needing the recognition?

It's possible.

Whatever it was,

it upset her enough that she actually called the police.

I don't think that's a thing that most people do lightly.

She was genuinely concerned for somebody's wellbeing.

Can hear somebody saying something like that.

They come, they investigate.

They go, "Okay. Yeah. There's no one here."

Once again, checking off the boxes of the rational,

of the everyday,

getting closer and closer and closer to an explanation.

And sometimes that explanation is paranormal.

Chelesie has no idea who or what was asking for help on that day.

But to her great relief...

Since the incident, I haven't heard anything.

Nothing out of the normal.

No more voices.

I would love to know that there's not a ghost in my house.

I've never experienced anything paranormal before.

I'm kind of torn in between believing it

and wanting to have, like, a resolution,

an answer distinctly.

Every year, thousands of pedestrians die

as a result of being struck by drivers at intersections.

Nearly 6,000 such deaths

occurred in 2017 in the U.S. alone.

With such a shocking number of fatalities

caused in this fashion,

it's plausible to think

that at least a few of these unfortunate souls

might return to the scene of the crime

before finally taking leave of the Earth for good.

Which is what might have been happening at a crosswalk

in Papua New Guinea

when a CCTV camera captured this incredible footage.

It's 2019 in Waigani, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.

A 24-hour security camera is recording traffic activity

at an intersection, when suddenly...

...a ghostly figure appears, begins moving across the street

and then floats up into the sky

and vanishes.

The obvious question -- is this really a ghost?

And if so, what connection does it have to this intersection?

You're seeing what looks like an apparition of a human,

especially because it kind of looks like it grows arms

as it's walking across.

And then all of a sudden it just turns into this ball of light

and then flies into the sky.

It has that big torso shape to it,

so this could almost be the spirit of a person

that was killed in that intersection --

a pedestrian or a person in a car accident perhaps.

Its motion starts off as kind of residual energy

and then just shoots off.

Maybe that is where that person died.

Maybe that crosswalk, they were hit by a car in that moment.

And where we see it ascending, is it stuck in a loop?

In fact, in Papua New Guinea,

pedestrians make up a staggering 29%

of traffic-related fatalities

due to a lack of sidewalks.

And the way in which the spirit rises into the air

seems to coincide with long-held beliefs

about what happens in the moments after death.

People that arrive at fatal auto accidents

often report seeing a mist

rise from the vehicle and up into the sky,

almost as if the person inside had died

and their soul is leaving the body

and going toward the heavens.

A lot of people who have a near-death experience claim

that they feel like their body is being floated upward

and they're looking down at themselves.

And I think that this experience is the reason

why a lot of people believe

that there is a heaven where our souls ascend to.

Could this spirit be rising to heaven?

Or is it stuck in a loop from hell?

It's interesting that they actually would still have

this ability to go back to this spot

and make it happen again and again and again,

which makes me think maybe they have no choice

but to be there and make this happen again and again.

Maybe that is their own version of hell.

Coming up, an orb gets up close and personal.

Orbs -- globes of light and energy

that spontaneously appear on Earth

with no simple explanation as to why.

Thanks to advancements in recording devices,

the prove that orbs exist is stronger than ever.

Yet they remain deeply shrouded in mystery.

What are they? Why are they here?

And most importantly, are they paranormal?

For one man,

his incredible experience confirms the answer

to at least one of those questions.

He swears they're from another world

and he's got the footage to prove it.

May of 2016, Auburn, California --

Paul Parker is sitting in his home

with a friend watching a hockey game,

when in the corner of the room, a large monitor

showing the live feed of his home security camera

suddenly captures...

...a glowing round ball of light

floating across the air in his backyard.

Could it be an orb?

Intrigued and creeped out,

Paul musters the courage to go outside and investigate

while he instructs his friend to watch the monitor.

Here I come with the flashlight.

Though Paul can't see the orb,

his friend assures him it's still there.

And that's when Paul really got creeped out.

He's telling me it's right in front of my face,

right above me,

and I seen absolutely nothing at all.

My name's Paul Parker.

I'm from Auburn, California,

and I shot this video.

It freaked me out when I was outside with the flashlight

and I couldn't see anything with my naked eye.

He was telling me that it's right in front of my face,

now it's above my head.

So I knew there was something there that I could not see,

you know, and that got me kind of spooked.

But that's not all.

Although Paul can't see the orb, he can feel it.

He feels an energy in the air.

And Paul is convinced it's otherworldly.

I felt something.

I felt almost -- I don't know if it was a presence

or if it was me being spooked,

but I definitely felt something

that made the hair on the back of my neck stand up.

This video is rare in the sense

that we actually get to see the person filming it

interacting with this anomaly.

We get to see the person

actually physically interacting with it.

And it's something that he can't see with the naked eye.

And the feeling continues.

Each time Paul's friend tells him that the orb is near,

the energy intensifies.

I started feeling almost like electrified or something.

With any type of paranormal activity,

usually you will feel

a change in the atmosphere around you.

Though Paul had never seen this orb before,

he had a feeling he might know where or who it was coming from.

I lost about five or six people

in a very short amount of time --

my friend Eric, he was my best friend of about 30 years,

my dad, my Uncle Bob -- so I really --

I have no idea.

You know, I can't say for sure what it was,

but if it was spiritual,

I have a feeling that it was either my dad,

my uncle or my best friend, Eric.

I felt like it was getting personal with me.

There's a school of thought that says that orbs

are often disembodied spirits.

If that's good enough for him,

then that's really not something we can argue with,

whether we have scientific proof or not.

The orb eventually disappeared,

and the feeling of electricity as well.

Regardless of what it was,

one thing's for sure -- Paul is now a believer.

Some people think I'm crazy when I share

this stuff with them.

But in all honesty, I don't care.

I believe that these things or maybe this realm

has been shown to me

throughout my life for a reason, you know,

and maybe that reason is to help other people to know

that there is another realm besides this physical realm

that we tend to focus our whole existence on.

When it comes to the great orb debate --

orbs, what are they?

Bugs, dust, moisture in the air

or spirits?

Depending on who you ask,

you're going to get a varied answer.

And those on one side

are vehemently opposed to those on the other side.

We have to remember paranormal means

that is not currently defined by scientific explanations.

So that means that this could be a ghost

or an elemental or something else entirely.

Coming up,

a ghostly vision of a little girl.

There's a long-held belief

that animals are more sensitive to spirits than people are.

If an evil entity is near,

an animal may suddenly become protective of those around them.

If the entity is not threatening,

the reaction can be much different,

even playful.

Such was the case when two pit bulls seem to be engaging

with someone or something from beyond.

It's January 2017, and a couple in San Antonio, Texas,

are making a video of their two pit bulls

playing in the backyard.

The excitement of the dogs

hardly seems out of the ordinary,

but it's unclear what they are excited about.

Until a few moments later.

Did you catch that?

Look again closely...

...when a ghostly apparition moves across the yard --

one that looks very much like a little girl.

The man taking the video claims his daughter

has seen the vision of this little girl before,

but this is his first time.

And what's even more remarkable is that

he seems to notice the figure pass

as it's happening.

The person shooting the video

definitely saw whatever it was because the camera follows it.

That wouldn't be the case if it were a reflection on the lens.

We've all gotten reflections on lenses.

We don't follow them around like it's an actual object.

Capturing any paranormal activity,

even with all the cameras out there,

is still a very rare thing.

So it's really impressive

when you see the animals reacting,

you see the image move throughout the frame

and then you have the guy reacting to that.

That kind of creates

a fascinating level of potential evidence.

Always believe dogs.

If you want to know if there's a ghost near you,

get a dog near you because they'll tell you.

Dogs have no ego.

Dogs have no understanding of hoaxes.

They only know feeling and energy,

and their job is to protect you.

Their whole job is to make sure that the air around you is safe.

So if they sense something, believe your dog.

But if this is the spirit of a little girl,

as the family believes, why would she appear over

and over in this particular time and place?

Now, I happen to think that when children die,

I believe it's much more possible for them to remain

for them to be stuck in limbo,

if you will, simply because of confusion.

They don't know what to do, where to go, that kind of thing.

It's often said that when we see apparitions,

they are really

just repeating simple things that they did in life

and they're reliving that moment.

Perhaps the most obvious answer has to do

with her two new playmates.

If it was a child spirit, oftentimes they are playful.

They like to play. They like to interact.

And a dog is the perfect partner to interact with.

The family hasn't seen the little girl

since the filming of this video,

but they continue to keep a watchful eye out

for another encounter

that may provide more answers.

But the sounds they make

are truly the stuff of nightmares.

For one Kentucky family,

they believe an unexplained, recurring howl

from the forest behind their home

isn't just proof of a paranormal creature...

it's a genuine threat to their safety.

when Shaun Hammonds suddenly ran out to his backyard in a panic.

He was hearing that noise again --

Although Shaun's lived in this area

for most of his life... Oh, yeah.

...he's never heard anything quite like this until now.

I don't know.

The Hammondses are convinced something is out there,

and they believe that something has a name --

Bigfoot.

We'd never heard nothing like this.

This was out of the ordinary.

This was -- This was something different.

I just let the dogs out and this happening again.

We can't say 100% what it was.

It's just we both grew up here in these mountains.

And, you know, you're used to certain sounds,

especially certain times of the year.

That was different.

It was not a sound you're like, "Oh, okay.

That's an elk or it's a wildcat."

You know, that was different.

It's one of them sounds that just makes the hair

on the back of your neck stand up.

It's like, "Ugh!"

It makes you think, "Where's my dogs?

I'm getting my child in the house."

You know, that sound.

Dude, dude, dude. Get him in the house.

This footage is terrifying.

To be at home and presumably safe in your home,

when the woods surrounding you come alive

with this unexplainable yelping and howling.

These are noises that are typically associated

with Sasquatch activity.

Listen. That's crazy.

From what I know about Bigfoot and Sasquatch,

they have their own forms of communication.

Like, they have their own types of vocalization

that is particularly from them.

I think we're dealing with something more

than what we thought.

But if this is Bigfoot or some other kind of cryptid,

why is it so close to a populated area?

The Hammondses think they know.

All this actually started when they started doing some logging.

They started, you know, up there,

and they tore the property up.

They started, you know, cutting trees down, making new roads.

And then once that all started, that's when all this started.

As mankind expands and builds more roads and more towns

and more cities and developments,

the natural world has to adjust.

And sometimes breeding grounds, feeding areas have to move

and it becomes a problem.

So whatever is making that sound,

if it didn't live there before,

maybe there's a reason it's there now.

And although the Hammondses have never seen Bigfoot,

they've heard tales since they were kids.

There is tons of reports and sightings

in eastern Kentucky, Ohio.

I mean, there's tons of them.

A lot of credible researchers go investigate in Kentucky

because apparently there are, like, families of Sasquatch

that live in the wildernesses of Kentucky.

I think we're dealing with something more

than what we thought.

Whatever this creature was,

it appears to have moved on...

for now,

and that's just fine with the Hammondses.

It was a few weeks in spurts

and then it's just nothing -- been nothing.

Which I'm okay with.

God, that gives me chills. Listen at that.

Coming up, did this security camera

capture a fairy or an angel?

Few other entities bring up stronger personal feelings

than angels.

And for those fortunate enough to have seen them,

there is the belief that the angels

are bringing some message of goodwill.

One of those lucky people was a Guatemalan man named Augusto

who believed he'd been visited by one of these heavenly bodies

when he captured this...

on his repair shop security camera.

But was this creature really an angel

or something far more troubling?

April 8, 2014 --

Augusto Cuellar is working at his auto repair shop

in San José Pinula, Guatemala.

As he walks through the garage,

he senses an unusual energy in the room --

a powerful force.

He doesn't see anything at the time,

but the feelings are so strong that he decides

to review the security camera footage immediately.

That's when he sees...

this --

a tiny winged creature flying around the garage,

a creature that Augusto believes to be an angel.

Or is it possible that this small winged creature

is actually something else entirely?

When I first saw this video, of course, my mind

had to try to wrap itself around what this thing was.

What could it be? Was it dust? Was it a bug?

But the strange thing about it was its motion --

how it just seems to kind of pop around.

Now. this seemed to just be vibrating in a spot.

You can see wings and you see something

that appears like legs.

It's an interesting clip because we get such a sort of sporadic

but very clear image of what it is that's captured,

and what is captured, in form,

looks exactly like your typical image of a fairy,

and a fairy really in the Tinker Bell sense of the word.

It's very bright. It's a very small sprite.

It has two long legs like a human with wings.

So, it could be an angel as Augusto believes

or it could be a fairy.

Either way, all good, right?

Wrong.

There is a big difference between the two.

So in the Catholic description of what an angel is,

angels are not humans.

They never were humans.

They sort of are God's messengers.

And so they appear to humans

when they have a very important life-changing message

that hey need to send.

Angels are almost always there to give us hope

in a moment of darkness,

to give us a warning or to help us.

And fairies -- think less Disney,

more Brothers Grimm.

There's an idea of what a fairy is,

which is humanoid, but also with wings

and then has -- I mean, according to different reports,

some people believe they have like fangs

and are, you know, very spooky creatures.

They like to cause problems.

And if you encounter them,

your best to avoid them at all cost

rather than try to go through them or work with them.

They're just nasty little creatures.

If you're disrespectful, if you don't acknowledge them,

they can be troublesome.

This might be some of those poltergeists

or troublesome spirits we see in common hauntings.

Fairies are very strongly believed in

in places around Ireland and Scotland.

They literally build highways around fairy areas

so that as not to upset them

so that they wouldn't cause any harm

to the people of Ireland or Scotland.

Perhaps in the end it has less to do with

what is being actually is

and more with what one wants to believe it is.

It depends on your spirituality, I guess --

like whether you want to believe in the angels

or you want to believe in fairies.

One person's angel is another person's fairy

is another culture's djinn

is another person's demon.

All these terms that we're trying to lock down

to have a zoological classification of spirit

is still very much in its infancy.

But how can one describe something unknown?

Whatever this creature is,

Augusto hasn't seen it since that day,

but he has all the evidence he needs to confirm his belief

that what he felt was the presence of angels.

And what does that mean for him?

Listen carefully.
