The Army Corps of Engineers
actually saw it

and tried to test it.

Their analysis was that it was
a mysterious light

of unknown origin.

It's not uncommon for music
to stir up activity.

I use that as a method all the
time on my investigations.

...a frightening
apparition appears

in an Oregon cemetery...

It definitely seems
to be a figure.

Who that figure is
or whether they were actually

alive or dead --
That's the question.

...and even more
paranormal footage

you have to see to believe.

Savannah, Georgia, is considered
one of the most haunted cities

in the United States.

Founded in 1733, it has seen
everything from bloody battles

to deadly diseases,

leaving many to believe
spirits roam

not just the streets,
but the buildings, as well.

One of the most
infamous structures

is the 17Hundred90 Inn,

a major attraction
for paranormal enthusiasts

from around the world
due to repeated ghost sightings

and unexplained occurrences.

And when one couple heard
these rumors,

they booked a room to see
if the stories were true.

Jim Frissina and his wife,
Wendy,

chose the 17Hundred90 Inn
for a weekend getaway in 2015.

This is supposed to be
very haunted here.

My name is Jim Frissina,

and I took this video
in Savannah, Georgia.

There we go.

I figured, "You know what?
Why don't we spice up the trip

a little bit and stay
in one of those haunted hotels?"

Ooh, it's a nice place.

I really didn't believe
that any of it was haunted.

I'm sure some people
get creeped out

because the building
is 200 years old

and, you know,
has that haunted story going,

and it's a good haunted story.

But to be honest with you,
I was very skeptical.

The 17Hundred90 Inn
is a hot spot

for paranormal phenomena,

and a lot of paranormal
enthusiasts want to stay there.

All these rooms are booked out.

When Jim and his wife
checked in,

it wasn't the typical
inviting feel

of a freshly made-up hotel room
that welcomed them.

It was a strange disquiet.

It's hard to explain,

but it's kind of an uneasy
feeling that's really there.

We have the TV on because
I just don't want it quiet

in here right now.

It's really creepy
when it's quiet in here.

The first night we got there,

there were some things
that started to happen.

Just simple things
like some noises.

Very, very subtle,
strange sensations.

And over here, we've had
a banging noise right here

like somebody
literally dropped a hammer.

But as the noises
and sensations continued,

Jim decided to investigate.

Things started getting
a little serious, so I figured,

"You know what?
Let me take this camera.

Get as much as of the room
as possible

'cause I want to see
if we can catch anything."

Jim left his video
camera on during the night

to see if it would pick up
any strange activity.

He repeated the process
a couple more nights,

but decided to save the video
viewing for another time.

You know, the camera that I use,
I left on.

I left it running, you know,
while we slept the night,

and there was a lot of footage.

I didn't want to spend my
vacation viewing videos, okay?

So I didn't sit there
and watch hours' worth of videos

to see if I caught anything.

It wasn't until
their last night that their stay

at the 17Hundred90
took a very frightening turn.

While I was talking to my wife

about
where we were going to dinner,

standing in front of the mirror,
the sensation was very intense,

and it's really,
really hard to explain.

And all of a sudden,
I feel like something

is trying
to communicate with me.

Like a veil between worlds,

the mirror reflected back

what appeared to be
a shadowy female figure.

Jim quickly took a photo.

I saw her.

She was looking at me
from the mirror.

Directly at me.

There's a great theory
that it's easier to witness

an apparition through a mirror
or take photographs.

The best ghost picture I have
and the best one I've ever seen

is a picture in a mirror.

It seems to look like a shape
of a woman with, like,

an old Victorian hairstyle.

It's, like, this old-school,

like, beehive-type look,

which is probably around
the Civil War era,

so it does give some credence
to the idea

that maybe this was an entity
trapped in this house.

It's said the ghost of Anna,

a young girl that was
actually engaged to the man

that designed the hotel,
Steele White,

plunged to her death.

Maybe that kind of
shape in the mirror

might be the spirit of Anna.

The photograph confirmed for Jim

that what he thought he saw
in the mirror was,

in fact, there.

Though in truth,
it paled in comparison

to the image in his memory.

When I snapped the photo,
I knew I had it,

but the flash of the phone
was on, and I didn't realize it,

so at the time,
I was, like, freaking out.

I said, "The flash ruined
the picture.

I've got nothing,"
but it's there.

It was enough to convince Jim

that the time had come to end
their stay at the hotel.

I said, "Let's just get
out of here.

Let's just leave it now."

You know, everybody says,
"Well, if it happened to me,

I'd stand there.
I'd try to communicate.

I'd get more pictures
and videos."

No, you don't.

The fear just takes
over your entire body.

Once safely back at their home,

Jim finally took a look
at the video footage

he had recorded and eventually
stumbled on something

that shook him to his core.

The doll that he had thought
was just a decoration

the hotel owners
had left in the room

appeared to become something
or someone else entirely

once the lights were out.

It freaked me out.

I mean, this is
an inanimate object.

That makes no sense.

I mean, that's just freaky.

This was one of the
creepiest videos I've ever seen.

I mean, it was just so eerie

to see that doll
actually come to life.

Dolls can become haunted
for any number of reasons,

but perhaps it's the fact
that it is an approximation

of the human form that a spirit
that does not have a body

can easily occupy
and manipulate

because it was
something familiar.

Two arms, two legs, a head,
a body --

These are things that they know
how to manipulate.

If I would have saw that
video, I would have been gone.

But Jim said he had to
sign a waiver from the hotel,

agreeing that he would not ask
for a refund if he left early.

You get scared, and you leave,
it's on you.

It's really, really great to have corroborating evidence,

so if you've got
physical movement

of an object on the same night

that you feel you've witnessed
an apparition in a mirror,

I mean, that's just two
kind of huge events

to happen to you
on a single night,

which would lend me to believe
that this is a location

that's got
some activity going on.

Convinced he was a witness to something truly paranormal,

Jim no longer doubts the rumors
of the 17Hundred90 Inn.

About 6 months later,
I thought about it,

and I was like, "Well, you know,
whatever this was,

I was fortunate
to have that experience."

You know, I had an opportunity
to do it.

I want to go back there
and just see

if we could make
another connection.

My advice to people who stay
in places like this --

Enjoy the history.

Enjoy the kitsch of the room.

Enjoy all the things that it is.

If you didn't want
a haunted experience,

you would have stayed
at the Holiday Inn.

People have been known
to devote their lives

to the search for Bigfoot.

They dedicate innumerable hours
of their time

to hiking through the wilderness
on the hunt

for any evidence or sightings
of the elusive cryptid,

So imagine the shock
of two friends

in the southern Virginia woods

who seemed to stumble
upon the creature

when all they were looking for
was a little off-road fun.

On April 5, 2009,
friends Eric and Chuck

were out riding their ATVs.

They took turns driving up
a stream

while the other filmed
the impressive feat.

During Chuck's final ride
of the day,

he caught sight of a massive
creature that stopped him cold.

As he approaches this thicket
of trees, he stops,

and at first you think,
"Ran out of gas. Hit a pothole.

Hey, what's that thing
in the background?"

It seems like
he's authentically surprised,

shocked,
and, at the very least...

What was that?

...wondering what the heck
he just saw.

Doesn't look like
it's a man in a gorilla suit.

It actually looks like
some kind of hairy creature.

Maybe this is the real deal.

What was that?

When we're looking at video

and photographic evidence
of legends,

the one thing
that can kill it is intent.

Anyone who sets up a camera
to find Bigfoot

is immediately
questioned in the veracity

of their finding of Bigfoot.

Someone who's out there
filming themselves,

hanging out in a river,
riding an ATV,

you know, spending the day
with their family

who happens to catch Bigfoot?

That's potentially valid.

Well, we can rule out
just about

every indigenous animal
in that region.

What was that?

Obviously it's not a canine
of any kind.

It's clearly not a bear.

Bears can walk upright.

They generally wouldn't
if they were crossing

a fast-moving stream like this.

It just doesn't make
any logical sense.

So, this area of the country,

the Appalachian Mountain range,

has its own legends
and folklore.

I actually grew up there,
and one of those legends

is about a creature called the
Woodbooger or just the Booger.

And it's a 6- to 8-foot-tall
hair-covered creature

not unlike
the North American Bigfoot.

And it certainly seems
that that may be

what these gentlemen
ran into that day.

In general, it's considered

that Bigfoot
is an elusive creature.

Though why was it out with
as much noise as the ATV made?

There have been
so many sightings

around civilized areas,

and maybe it's just
the encroachment of people

that these creatures
have no choice

but to try and live amongst us.

Spooked by what they saw...

What was that?

...Eric and Chuck
didn't take any chances.

They hopped on their ATVs
and rode out of the area

as quickly as possible.

Of course,
some people are like,

"Maybe he should
drive after it."

I'm gonna say leave it alone
because I don't know

what would happen
if you drive after this thing.

Just go about your day,
enjoy your life.

You had the luxury
of seeing a Bigfoot.

That's the best you can do.

What was that?

The bright lights

of the Las Vegas Strip
are a beacon,

attracting gamblers
and fun-seekers

from around the world,

but if the two UFOs seen
hovering recently over Sin City

are any indication, those lights
may also be luring visitors

who are not of this Earth.

What in the world?

Ralph Krauss and his wife
live about 10 miles

from the Las Vegas Strip

and are no strangers to seeing
all the crazy visuals

Sin City has to offer,

but one night, when they
were on their way to bed,

they saw something
out their window

that was unlike anything
they had ever seen.

They went out to their balcony
to get a better look.

My name is Ralph Krauss.

I am the one who filmed
the video.

It was two big orange lights

that were just hovering
over the Las Vegas Strip,

and they were suspended
for a few minutes,

not moving, not descending
or rising. Just there.

It's certainly nothing like
anything that I've ever seen.

Yeah.

Like, if you see the planes,
like, over there...

So, obviously these
lights are near an airport,

so you want to say,

"Oh, these are just
airport lights,

you know, guiding planes
in and out,

whatever they might be doing,"

but it seems as if the optics,
when the plane takes off,

it's much, much smaller
than it should be

if those would be lights
attached to the airport.

These things are
definitely there for a reason

and seem to be on the same
mission, whatever that might be.

They just seem to be quizzical

about whatever is
going on beneath them,

and they stay there a long time.

If you take a look at where
these lights

are hovering over
on the Vegas Strip,

it is in between Mandalay Bay
and the Luxor.

Now, what do we know
about the Luxor?

It's in the shape of a pyramid.

And most ufologists and ancient
alien enthusiasts believe

that the pyramids were actually
ancient alien constructions

that the Egyptians gathered
from, you know, the gods then.

Not only is the Luxor
in the shape of a pyramid --

It also boasts the most
powerful light on Earth,

beaming into the sky.

With 39 lamps shining over
2.7 million watts of light,

it's visible from
hundreds of miles away

and shines
straight into outer space.

So, you have
this ancient alien construct

beaming light into space.

Doesn't that come off as, like,
a beacon?

And if you were
of alien descent,

wouldn't you want to come in

and check out
what's going on on Earth?

Ralph and his wife
watched the lights

until they finally disappeared.

They just went away,
like, after a few minutes.

The lights are getting
fainter and fainter.

What the hell?

They did get --
They disappeared.

It wasn't like the lights
were getting smaller.

I think they just kind of faded
or dimmed away.

Ralph posted the video online,

hoping someone might have
an explanation.

Some people were saying
that it could be,

like, Chinese lanterns.

We've pulled up videos
of that online,

and all of them were ascending.

None of them were, like,
suspended for a few minutes.

We've seen flares.

We've seen fireworks and stuff
like that,

and there's no break or tail,
like, following,

and it's just frozen.

It's really strange.

UFOs are
not necessarily aliens,

so these orange balls of light
could be something else.

This could be
something supernatural

that has manifested
over the Vegas Strip.

And while there's
no way to know what exactly

those lights
were meant to accomplish,

at least one person can attest
to an effect their presence had.

All I know is that it was really
out of the ordinary.

We've never seen anything
before that,

and we've never
seen anything since.

In March 2019, Rick Reichard
went to bed

after a successful day
of shopping

with his girlfriend
and daughter.

His girlfriend had bought
a secondhand leather jacket

at a thrift store,
which she left with Rick

before returning
to her own home.

Rick hung the jacket up in his
bedroom before he went to sleep.

When he woke up
the next morning,

he had a strange feeling,
and it felt as if someone

had been in his bed
with him the night before

despite the fact
that he had slept alone.

I kept waking up, feeling like
something was sitting on the bed

or tugging the covers,

and I usually sleep
pretty still.

After waking up
with the same uneasy feeling

two mornings in a row,

Rick decided to set up
a camera in his room to record

while he slept to see
if he could capture

what might be causing this.

I didn't think
I was gonna catch anything.

I just -- You know, why not?

When he reviewed
the footage in the morning,

he was startled
by what he saw.

First, I thought it was me
when I looked.

I was like, "Oh, I got up."

But looking closely,
I was like,

"Oh, but I can see through me,
and I went into a wall."

I don't know what it is.

I don't think it could possibly
have been me.

At one point,
you do see the sheets

billow up pretty large,

and you see what looks
like a figure

on the left kind of
move down behind the bed.

I can't figure out
what body part it would be

'cause it seems
to travel from --

all the way from the top left
to the bottom right,

so it definitely looks like

there's something
more going on there

than just a person
tossing in their sleep.

That was a little freaky.

I have to admit --
That was a little freaky.

It actually sat on my --

You know, I felt something
sitting on my bed,

and I felt the sheets
being tugged,

so I was just a little concerned
at what I found.

It didn't scare me.

It just kind of validated
things for me.

This phenomenon is something that's reported quite often --

the moving of blankets
or the yanking of blankets

while people
are trying to sleep.

And many investigators wonder
if it may be a ghost

trying to get the attention
of somebody

that may be ignoring them
while they slept.

Rick couldn't figure out

why this seemingly
spiritual visitation

was suddenly occurring
after years of peaceful slumber.

Then he remembered something.

The leather jacket
his girlfriend

had bought
at a thrift store days earlier

had been in his room
this whole time,

and as this was the only
new element in his room,

Rick suspected
that this could be the cause.

I mean, if something's attached

to something
that they truly like,

if there are spirits, you know,
they can stay with it

for a while
or travel with it or...

It's nothing evil.
It's just a presence.

If you think about it,
if the person

that was living
loved this jacket,

wore this jacket
every single day,

perhaps some of his
or her energy

has been rubbed off
on the jacket,

and when some new owner
takes it into their home,

you know, it basically
opens the floodgates.

Even though Rick didn't feel that whatever was visiting him

in the night was malicious,

he was in need of
a restful night's sleep,

so he brought the jacket
outside to the garage.

At the very least,
it would test his hypothesis.

When bringing in a possibly
haunted item into your home

that triggers activity,

removing it after observing
this activity

is a good way to test to see,
"All right. Is it that item?"

The change was immediate.

As soon as I hung it out there,
took it out in the garage,

it just seemed like everything
kind of calmed away,

calmed down a little bit.

Rick has not brought the jacket

back into the house since.

There's just no need
to mess around anymore.

Joplin, Missouri, is home

to one of the longest
unexplained phenomena --

appears in the same exact place
around the same time of night

and what exactly causes it has
stumped locals for generations,

leaving many to wonder
if it could be supernatural.

And in February 2016,

three friends
took a drive out to see

if they could finally
answer the question --

What exactly is
the Ozark Spooklight?

Dude, this is crazy.

Jake Stogdill grew up hearing
stories about the Spooklight.

My name is Jake Stogdill.

I'd heard about it
my whole life,

and I think it's probably my dad
was telling a story about him

and his sister went out there
to see it once.

And it's not just the locals

who are fascinated
by the lights.

There have been many attempts

by scientific investigators
from all over,

including the Army Corps
of Engineers,

to accurately
classify the light.

The Army Corps of
Engineers actually saw it

and tried to test it

and did everything
they could think of,

and that was their analysis,

was that it was a mysterious
light of unknown origin.

Some people like to explain it
as reflections of car headlights

or natural gas emissions,

but the light had been seen
before cars or highways

were even in that area,

so we still don't even know
what's causing it.

One would think that
we have the technology.

We have satellites.

We have things that could look
down from space

and pinpoint
where this is coming from.

And yet we still can't find out
the origin of them.

I'm baffled.

But Jake was not surprised by their lack of findings.

Living in the Ozarks,
there's all kinds of folklore

about witches and ghosts
and orbs,

and, you know,
black panthers and Bigfoot.

You name it, there's people

that have claimed
to have seen it out here,

so that's just kind of
commonplace, really.

Jake decided he wanted
to see for himself

and asked two
of his co-workers,

Jeremy and Robby,
to come along with him.

So one day, after they closed up
the music shop

where they worked,
they hopped in their truck

and headed out to investigate.

It's kind of cool to go
see something

that you just can't explain.MAN: Yeah.

That there's
still mystery for.

We didn't really know
what to expect.

The basic description
that you get from everyone

is, it's just
a big ball of light,

so you don't know
what that means.

After driving for 40 minutes,

they finally arrived
at the stretch of road

that they had heard
was the best vantage point

for viewing the lights.

It was just after dusk.

It was just almost dark.

You know, you could look
on the horizon

and see just barely
any daylight,

and we spotted it as soon
as we got in the area.

And we need to tell people
the red light

that you see is a tower.

Yeah, the red light you see
is a reception tower

way in the distance.Yes.

The little gold light
that's in the center

with all the little weird
sparkling stuff

going on around it,
that's the Spooklight.

It was all different colors.

It kind of looked like a fire
the way it would glow,

but not necessarily...

It didn't seem like a beam
of light shining in your eyes,

but it had a glow to it.

Man, that is too cool.

Yeah, I don't know,
you know.

And, see? Look.
It's just about flickered out.

The light is flickering,
and now...

It's just exactly like a fire.

And until you see it,
when you actually see this,

you can easily tell it's not,
like, car headlights

or something like that

because it's just a totally
different kind of light,

and the way it acts --

It can split into different
pieces and disappear

and reappear other places.

What's really frustrating
about something like this

is that the light
is always far away.

It's off in the distance.

My thought is,
"Well, get closer. Go closer.

Go over there."

But those who have seen the light through the years

have reported that as they tried
to get closer to the light,

it would mysteriously
disappear or move,

making it harder to analyze
and find the actual source,

which was exactly what Jeremy
and his friends found.

That's pretty cool.

I didn't know what to expect
when we were -- Just

I mean, I didn't doubt
that people see this thing.

At one point, Jeremy
and myself got out of the van

to walk toward it on foot to see
if we could get any closer.

We got fairly close.

I would say within a couple
hundred feet at one point.

We could never seem to get
any closer than that, though.

It would kind of just dissipate
and go away

and then reappear somewhere else
off to the side or behind us.

Jeremy, his heart started
beating fast,

and his hair was standing up
on end and things like that.

It's kind of hypnotizing
to watch it.

Yeah, and it...
Look at that.

Yeah, it breaks -- Man.

By then, they had been
there for over an hour

and decided it was
time to leave.

Jake and his friends were happy
to have seen the Spooklight,

but felt no closer
to understanding what it is.

Every now and then, as is
the case with these Spooklights

and other mysterious things,
we find something that infuses

a little wonder
back into our world.

It was a really neat experience,

but, you know,
beyond that, who knows?

Like I said, people a lot
smarter than me have tried

to figure it out and can't.

seem to move or fluctuate

before a large gust of wind
or something comes by

and practically knocks them

Something's going on here.

I just don't know what it is.

One's first thought
might be that it was simply

caused by some wind
through an open window, but...

And what happened
next truly terrified Sarah.

It's often the case that if
there's a spirit present,

that it affects

or something along that nature

Mount Mayon in the
Bicol Region of the Philippines

is the country's
most active volcano.

It recently erupted in 2018,

sending lava nearly 1/2 mile
into the air,

causing a massive evacuation
of the area.

These days, it is safe to visit
the infamous natural wonder,

and tourists can still see
huge steam plumes

rising into the sky.

However, in April 2019,

one visitor spotted
something even more alarming

than lava and smoke
hovering above.

Andy Saunar and his family
were visiting from Manila

and had just spent
the day at Mount Mayon.

The following morning,

he was looking over
the footage of the volcano

he had taken on his phone
when something caught his eye.

I was just reviewing the video.

And then, suddenly, I noticed
there was something there.

This video was clearly
just meant to be,

"Hey, look.
Look at the smoke.

Look at the volcano."

"And what is that?

What's that black form floating,
hovering within the smoke?"

It is clearly a craft
of some kind.

Where it is is a place
where no craft would want to be.

This is an active volcano.

It's spewing smoke and ash
and most likely noxious gases.

Apparently over the last decade
or so,

UFO sightings above erupting
volcanoes has increased.

There was one at Yellowstone,

in El Salvador, and Mexico,

and now the Philippines.

Volcanoes store
massive amounts of energy,

and when it erupts,
it can create,

like,
electromagnetic disturbances.

Imagine a volcano just uprooting
all this heat

that's, like,
almost nuclear in nature.

I definitely would imagine
it'd be attractive

to any type of alien being
if they're trying to learn

how to harness
types of energy.

I mean, we, as human beings,
have done that.

but he feels strongly
it was not of our world.

living organisms inside of it,

they're really playing

Let's face it --
Spending time with one's in-laws

can be a scary experience.

It can be a difficult time

that leads to horror stories
of overbearing

and controlling
family members.

But for one man, who was
visiting his wife's family

for summer vacation,
this wasn't the case at all.

In fact, it was
outsidethe house,

while pursuing his love
of photography,

that the truly
terrifying activity occurred.

In July 2013, amateur
photographer Nathan Ziegler

was in Milton-Freewater, Oregon,
at his wife's parents' home.

Looking for a place to try out

the time-lapse setting
on his new camera,

Nathan settled on
the Old Pioneer Cemetery,

a final resting place for the
first settlers of the town,

including those that came
by the Oregon Trail.

He set the timer to take
a picture every 30 seconds.

My name is Nathan Ziegler.

I am the one that did
the time-lapse in the cemetery.

I had it on a tripod.

And so, I set it up there
a little bit after 8:00,

and then I went back
to get it at about 10:00.

The next morning,
Nathan was reviewing the photos

when something in one of
the pictures stuck out to him.

There's a little blip
that caught my eye

in one of the images.

It's not in the frame before,
and it's not in the frame after.

What's great about
time-lapse photography

for paranormal research

is that you always have
a control photograph

to show you the environment
of the location

before a spirit is there
and also right after.

You can see which direction
that the phenomena is moving in.

You can see how it manifests.

And that way, you could also
get kind of a time stamp

as to when
the phenomena occurred.

It looks like some type
of human shape.

You know, the arms are down
by the side.

It looks like there is
a human type of head,

but it's a very
odd-looking head.

It definitely seems to be
a figure.

Who that figure is or whether
they were actually alive or dead

is sort of --
That's the question.

Everything about it looks like classic shadow person.

Shadow people, they manifest --

They could be there in a second
and gone the next.

They're very elusive,

and they don't try
to make themselves known.

They're more of
an observer type of energy.

Nathan wondered about
the link between the cemetery

and the Oregon Trail.

I'm not ruling anything out,
but I'm not sure.

It is right along
the path where that was.

During the mid-1800s,

the Oregon Trail was used
by thousands of travelers

to emigrate west
across the United States.

At times, it was treacherous,
and many perished along the way.

The amount of death energy

that is associated
with this trail

and the people who walked it

very well may result
in hauntings,

not to mention the fact
that we remember it

and acknowledge it almost
re-energizes the energy.

He showed friends
and family the picture

and asked for their input.

I was, yeah, just curious myself
and thought,

"Well, I might as well check out

what different people
were thinking,

just to try to rule
some things out."

People said it must have been
a branch of a tree that fell.

You know, some people said,
"Oh, it must have been a speck

of dust on the camera."

But the shape of the image,
it doesn't look like

it would be a speck
of dust or anything else.

When no one had an answer,

he set out to conduct
a follow-up investigation.

The next day, I went up there
with my brother-in-law,

and we did some searching.

What I like about this guy
is, he didn't just

take this picture
and let it stand.

He's like, "I'm gonna go
investigate this

and see what the heck happened."

Now, this guy isn't

a professional
paranormal investigator,

which, in my opinion,
gives him more validity

because he might not be
sort of skewed

by the desire to find a ghost.

There's a lot of things
that still didn't quite add up.

There were no tree branches
that had fallen.

It's really, really important

to try and re-create things.

It's impressive when you see
somebody

who's not in the field
catch something

and is interested in it
and tries to re-create it.

Nathan set up the
camera in the same position

and had his brother-in-law
walk by the tree

and then compared the two.

We did a couple of tests just to walk across a frame.

In the picture
from the original time-lapse,

you can see that the image

is much more blurry
around the edges,

and the image
of my brother-in-law,

it's a lot finer edges to it,
and so that was one piece of it

that I noticed
was quite different.

Between the picture that
he captured and his re-creation,

they're not exact,
but similar enough to go, "Hmm.

Maybe there was someone,

something standing
by that tree."

Despite Nathan's
thorough search,

he still can't say for certain
what was in that photograph.

That was the first time
in my life

that I had seen anything
that was like that,

and there hasn't been
anything since.

Always expect the unexpected.
