Previously on Project Prometheus

- Our five mystery passengers? - Cherepanov Alexander

Olga Nazarova Musa Evloev

Fatima Kubatieva Lupak Taidonov

The passenger list of the missing flight was written by Poletaeva,

her mother who is currently hospitalised

in Moscow Psychiatric Hospital No. 3

Cherepanov is under compulsory treatment

We have many anomalous places in Altai

Professor Burliak is a known innovator

in computational electrophysiology

Cherepanov organised a science summer camp

Some considered it a cult

The Poletaevs are known for being chatty

How do you know my last name?

Alexander, what is this?

There's only one vest. But I think it's powerful enough for both of us

It's a compact but very powerful power generator

This is what we managed to get

Flight 218, taxiing completed

Get the people out

He's withholding information from us

Shaposhnikov's voice is on the flight recording

He was there in '98

Can you hear me?

Follow the torch

I'm fine, help him

What do you have there?

Weak pulse, pale mucous membranes Intermittent breathing

The pupil is reacting to light

He needs to go to hospital

Keep him under guard at all times

This floor is secure Only medical personnel are allowed

- My guy will go with you - Is that really necessary?

Yes. This is not up for discussion

How are you Anna?

Flight 218, taxiing completed Awaiting instructions

Get the people out

Curious

Has it occurred to you that this recording could have been edited?

- And that would be the explanation?

And the illusion, according to your logic

is just a short circuit

A collective epileptic attack, except for you

That is a puzzle I too have no answer for, believe me

So my friends

I fly to Moscow in four hours

If anyone wants to join me, I'd welcome your company

You come to me for help

But, as usual in your department

You lie and do not tell the truth The question is, why?

Why did you call us?

In the hope of questioning my mother?

Or that I could find the secret of this family's disappearance?

Tatiana and Artyom Molchanov, passengers on flight RA-218

Molchanova is your wife's maiden name

Yes

My family was on this flight

Why didn't you say so from the start?

You knew I'd find out about this sooner or later

What difference does this make?

Now you know why I need you

If you share important information with us immediately

we won't waste time on dead ends

It's related to my work It was done for security reasons

Excellent! Now we too will have to change our passports

That's not necessary Things are different now

And our office is more open

As for that recording, I had a meeting in Moscow that day

Besides me there were 16 people present

All of whom are alive and can confirm it

I have no doubt that this is a forgery, nor that they will confirm it

Possibly even word for word Okay?

- Anna, maybe we should go to the hospital? - I'm fine!

I just need a walk

I'll go with you

- Anna, is everything okay? - Yes. Wait for me outside

Come on Nikita

Vladimir

I'm sorry for your loss

There's no need

I couldn't accept this for 24 years Now it's even harder

You really can't have hope...

Not long ago you couldn't believe that we'd find a plane

that disappeared 24 years ago

It's not hope that I have...

I firmly believe

that my family and all the passengers are still alive

We still don't know how

So

Everyone was affected after the vest was activated

Everyone except Shaposhnikov

Maybe they were trained in some way for this kind of thing?

- Nikita, what? - Yeah, nevermind.

In any case, it couldn't be related solely to the vest

because Cherepanov threw himself in front of me

none of the other stuff happened on the radar

That means we need to get in touch with Cherepanov

My communication with him was short, but memorable

Why did you jump after him?

It was… automatic

- And? - And?

Ah…

At first I thought Cherepanov's vest was fake

Oh yes

A historian who creates engineering designs

Who is a schizophrenic hypnotist

By the way, hypnosis had no effect on Anna Yurievna.

Perhaps I am not susceptible to hypnosis

I don't understand hypnosis

And I can say with certainty that the vest wasn't fake

Rather, it's something similar to a particle accelerator

- Did he create a collider? - Something like that

And he didn't flick to the switch by accident

To make this system work

Takes at least 2000 kW

That's why I wanted to use a transformer

Look, I plan to relieve today's stress at the hotel bar

What are you doing?

Its a simple question “Yes” is yes, “No” is no

I think I'll pass

Too much for one day

I'll pass too thanks

Ok a classic question Does anyone have any cash?

Don't get too excited We aren't here on vacation

It's a little quiet

Do you think Shaposhnikov is still hiding something from us?

Yes, without a doubt

Hiding the truth is his profession

Maybe it would be wiser to leave this and go back?

Of course, that would be wiser, but you know...

Yes, you need to get to the bottom of the truth That's your profession

- Well, good night - Yes

I can't get used to this place

- Goodbye - Yes. Rest

- Good night - Good…

What do you like to drink at this time?

A little cognac would be great

- Nikita - Berta

Berta? What a beautiful and strange name!

Beautiful is debatable But strange for sure

You are not from round here?

Born and raised My ancestors were German settlers

In fact, there are quite a few of us here

How did you get to Gorno-Altaisk?

Secret investigation

Write about the plane they found

Let's forget the word “secret”

This town is small News spreads quickly

Did you find out anything? What happened?

I don't have anything yet, but...

I'll stay on course

Berta Genrikhovna, I'm sorry, an urgent call I had to take

Let's talk later. We won't interfere with our guests' rest

On the house

See you later

To clarify

Who is that waitress?

- Bertha Genrikhovna? - Berta Genrikhovna

She is the owner of the hotel

And much more here in Gorno-Altaisk

Everything used to belong to Tsetseikin He privatised everything here.

Tsetseikin. The one killed in the 1990s?

Yes. I see that you are aware

What a peculiar guy he was

His company, "Altai-Kizhi", owns everything here

Everything belongs to him Including the pharmaceutical industry

Now his widow, Bertha Genrikhovna is in charge of everything

"Altai-Kizhi" What does it mean?

Altai man

Anything else?

Well…

Tell me, Alexander, what are your goals and objectives?

Do you intend to run a scientific centre?

The goals and objectives are very broad

First of all, to study the limit of

where traditional science and knowledge cannot rationally explain phenomenon

Study of the limit states of organisms by various means.

From physical experiments to biofields

Study of the behaviour of matter particles under different conditions

Under hypnosis and in a trance

This will probably generate a great deal of skepticism among our detractors

And even accusations of pseudoscience?

It is always easier for people to label something as pseudoscience

How to find an explanation? Get to the truth

This has happened to many brilliant minds in the history of science

Thank you

This report was prepared for you by Olga Poletaeva and Nikolai Matetski

Anna

Anna

Mum!

Mum!

Anna! Anna!

How are you?

Come on! Quickly!

Come on! Carefully.

Easy…

We're going out, do you hear? We're going out

Close your eyes Tightly

Nikita

Please tell us

How did you manage to get that few thousand?

The locals are very hospitable It's a housewarming

Good day

Good morning

I studied the interviews of our five from '98

They've been edited but something caught my eye

What?

What can you tell us about Project Prometheus?

This name came up in the interviews with Evlovaev and Cherepanov

I needed my skills to find clues

Where no one saw them

Prometheus Project caught my attention.

Give me time and I will get all the information I can

I can speed up this process

Project Prometheus is a secret programme

On the study of paranormal phenomena Abnormal situations

I always knew we had our own Area 51

Seems it's not so secret

I'm sure you can surprise us

For a historian, you're pretty good at physics

Could you tell us

what is the purpose of your vest?

That vest isn't mine.

Ah… I see

So who gave it to him?

Me

Okay

Do I need to write this down?

Nikita

What do you mean by that?

I was in the city of Anapa with my followers

A man came to my hotel room

He… had a hood and dark glasses

Apparently he didn't want to be recognised

When I let him in he took off his glasses

That's when I thought I'd really gone crazy

This stranger...

It was me

He told me I was in danger

and I had to wear this vest

- Did you wear it? - I didn't have time

My twin showed me the place An abandoned radar

Where the transformer was Where the vest was hidden

But he claimed that this vest

Can move through time and space, right?

I don't know I couldn't prove it

But it's not too late yet, right?

Guys, give us a minute

Anna...

Alexander

He said he knew my mother Tell me more about this

What happened?

Olga... Is Olga alive?

Yes, she is alive

Then you'd better talk to her

She hasn't communicated with anyone for a long time

She's undergoing long-term treatment for schizophrenia

People have always perceived genius as madness

I feel so sorry for her

She had a lot of potential We shared a lot

She came into our circle and followed the work

- And then she left - Why did she leave?

Because of you

She chose family

Instead of the whole world that opened up before us

And her experiments...

Was the missing plane one of them?

She only sees what's on the surface

There is still much to learn

Anna

Western Sayan, southern Siberia

A polar reversal was discovered here

due to the displacement of the magnetic poles. Experts estimate that

this could happen again for the whole planet in the next 2,000 years

However, it occurs here periodically once or twice a year

An ancient abandoned house has been discovered in Karelia

which locals consider cursed

But such an explanation is not scientific

During the research there an unusual room was found

in which all living beings age 10 to 12 times faster

A bee lives three days a laboratory mouse six months

This is Kamchatka A dead forest

Here all measurements are within normal limits

However, no living creature survives here more than a day

Death is not violent, simply cardiac arrest

But over the past year, the number of abnormalities detected

has doubled

Okay. Let's go back to Prometheus

Where exactly was the project work carried out?

Let me guess Krasni Yar

Krasni Yar was a classified military training camp

Only a limited number of people had access

I was not among them

What happens now with the training camp and the project?

As far as I know

The project was closed in the early 90s

It's been transformed It's now an industrial estate

We need to go there

I'll try to organise it

Don't be modest, Vladimir I'm sure you'll succeed

Shall we do a couple of tests?

Yes. Wasn't the last attempt enough?

WIt's hard to call this a test We only managed to look at it

Shall we start making bets?

There's a time machine in front of us

Or a device for movement in space

It's interesting, how many people each year believe

They've created a time machine?

Nikita, look, time in the universe can slow down or speed up

It all depends on the speed at which the object moves

Suppose a person is in a spaceship

Moving at a speed close to that of light

For this person time will pass much slower

Than for someone who is on Earth, do you understand?

Yes. There's just one problem

A person can't move at the speed of light

Yes

The atoms in your ship would burn up

And the resulting lethal radiation would be 2,000 times greater

The surprising thing is that the four passengers

Have a unique bioelectrical activity

As a scientist, I try to avoid terms like biofield

However, here we are faced with something similar

Are you sure?

It's not entirely clear why such activity occurs

And what is the likelihood

That they are the ones who caused the incident in our building

Rather than the vest tests?

Maybe it's... a combination of factors

If we assume that the passengers who were brought back

Were, let's say, multipolar

When a positive charge meets a negative one, everything is fine

But if the polarity changes…

In other words, can they be used as batteries?

I think to some extent this is true

If you want to harvest energy, you need some kind of capacitor

Look

They were arranged on the plane like this...

- The whole group around Lupak… - Taidonov

Yes

Was it a capacitor?

Well…

For now this is just a suggestion

Proper testing and research is needed

And they should be done under laboratory conditions

- Vladimir? - Anna, hello

Getting permission to visit Krasni Yar

Wasn't so difficult it turned out

We will go there together, if you are not against it

And what is there now on the territory of the military training camp?

The private company Altai-Kizhi

She deals in a wide range of products

From medicines to perfumes She has her own line

I'll pick her up... in five minutes

Okay

Where are we going?

To the Altai-Kizhi company

There are only two places for the visit so only Shaposhnikov and I will go

What does Altai-Kizhi do?

It's the largest company in the region

Altai-Kizhi translates as Altai man.

Okay, Nikita, we'll go see the shaman Taidonov

Great! We're going to interrogate a man in a coma

We'll take measurements of the magnetic field

Gas turbines semiconductors

This will draw more attention to the company

Well, that means you'll pay more, so that those who owe

Look the other way

Need I state the obvious?

We'll need to involve too many people

This supply can cause a lot of inconvenience

Make it all go unnoticed You can do it

Everything on the list is necessary for the job

The team should be here in two weeks

- Two weeks? - You can handle it

Oh, yes, soon there will be guests from Moscow...

Show everything in person, explain it

How much is 'everything'?

Everything that the Altai-Kizhi company can show

To ordinary visitors

To be honest, we're not very prepared for the inspection

This is not an inspection

It is a quick visit to one of the leading companies in the region

Well, that's great Visiting sounds much better

Routine laboratory tests are performed here

We try to work with local materials, plants...

The blessed region is rich in springs

In general, I am not allowed to let anyone in without an order from the head physician

Okay

- Well, if it's not for long… - Yes, thank you. You can go

No, I can't go

- Yes. If they were just relatives. - Of course.

- I'll be available if you need me - Okay

It's a pity I can't help you more

It seems you've made this trip in vain

Well no, we have a tourist area here

The features are different... be careful

And what's down there?

Technical rooms, raw materials warehouse... nothing interesting

Can we see the lower floors?

Well, if you're interested, why not?

Why do your employees wear masks even in indoor spaces?

Prevention. We don't have a hospital here

In fact, in the 70s, there was one here from the

Research and Development Department of the Ministry of Defence

where some experiments were supposedly conducted

- Was it the Prometheus project? - Excuse me?

- Prometheus - I've never heard of such a project

It's a shame

We've been planning to do repairs for a while, but we haven't been able to do it yet

The magnetic field exceeds normal by 20 times

We're stopping

So, is this all the research we're going to do?

Are you kidding? We could have spent less money.

If we could get him into the lab or get him together with the four of us

We would try to run an experiment with the batteries

You want to kidnap a person connected to IVL? (Mass ventilation)

Vadim Evgenevich, the professor proposes to kidnap a person

Connected to IVL

Yes, yes, I heard

Who are you?

We are scientific specialists, we run experiments

- What kind of test? - Calm down. I'm a relative

This is my grandfather

We want to transfer him to another clinic

Oh, really? So you and I are related

-Because he is my grandfather -Yes

Stanislav Sergeevich what is going on here?

They told me they were related

We didn't mean to hurt anyone

Listen

I'm a physics teacher

This is a scientific experiment

Get out or I'll call the police

Sounds good to me

- Guys, let's go - Excuse me

Well, maybe you'd like to see the product display or the store?

Who knows, maybe I'll get something

Again, thank you for your help

Well, whatever you say

But, anyway, be sure to see the tourist attractions

People come to us from all over Russia.

- You're lying - Of course you're lying

Until we get the order they will leak the information

They will hide everything interesting and pay us a visit just like today

I thought that all doors were open for you

I thought so too, but unfortunately not

But I will think of something

Vladimir Nikolaevich, we're being followed

I see, a black Toyota. They've been following us from the hotel

Who could it be?

There are many options

But let them think for now that they've gone unnoticed

Yes, Vadim?

How was the visit to Altai-Kizhi?

In vain. And what about you?

Listen, we need to talk

Additional tests need to be done

But this will require your skills

Of convincing people to cooperate with us.

Shaposhnikov was sent to the base

It was to be expected. Nothing to fear, right?

Of course

But what worries me is that he brought the four of them here

If the professor starts doing experiments

It will upset the atmosphere and make things difficult for us

There is no need to list the problems

If this quartet bothers us, then we have to solve the problem

- When? - When do you think? Act

Okay, Dmitri Savelievich

How do you feel?

Normal

Native air, native land…

I even missed you

You have to take care of yourself

You must not draw attention to yourself

Yes, I understand

I am a hostage of these places

But this suits me

Elena, tell me, did your grandfather tell you about the missing plane?

Long gone

Grandfather was a mute and sleepy man

Basically, he said it when asked. I didn't ask, so...

Maybe your grandfather

Was involved in the disappearance of the plane in '98

To clarify the circumstances, our colleagues need your permission

to perform some scientific tests

Science and shamanism rarely mix

Do you understand this?

Perhaps you also have similar abilities

Did your grandfather teach you any rituals or ceremonies?

Maybe you can help us?

My grandfather used to say if they ask for help, help them

If you can't help, try anyway

Does that mean yes?

Well, I'll try

I don't have the power to penetrate another world

But if I can convince my grandfather

- Who? - Grandfather

His spirit is still connected to him I will perform a shamanic ritual

And I will address the spirit of the sky Kudai

I make an agreement with the hospital

I still need four more helpers for the ritual

According to the attributes of a shaman

The helpers must have strength

With special power

Evloev, Volguina Kubatieva and Cherepanov

I will give orders All four will be handed over to us

Are handcuffs obligatory?

Are you sure you don't want me to go with you?

Don't worry, doctor

The situation is under control We are the best specialists

Listen, we have nothing to do with this We've already said everything.

What else do you need from us?

Are we under arrest?

Respond when you're spoken to!

We'll be there in 10 minutes

Come on

Get them out

We're here We're leaving

Would you like a special treat?

Keys!

Get in the car!

Base, change! Base, change!

What else?

I understand

The attackers have disappeared

Evloev is wounded Cherepanov is dead

Guys, it seems to me that this is quite an event

After which it would be time to return to Moscow

What happened to Kubatieva and Volguina?

They were not injured They are being transferred to a hotel

They need to be taken to the clinic to see the shaman

and have the ceremony there

Do you think that after what happened they will agree to participate?

I think that they are motivated now They understand that they will not be left alone

We can count on your cooperation?

I understand

But now we are missing one person

She will replace him

How is that?

You are a kama You feel it yourself

Uh-huh. What do I feel?

Something you can't explain

That which is capable of driving us crazy if we don't accept it

And if you don't learn to live with it

You already said that it's inherited

Almost always

I can just imagine the faces of the students

if they saw what I'm doing here

Sorry to drag you into this

Well, I'm a grown man, it's hard to get me into something

if I don't want it myself

Did you only come out of academic interest?

Well, initially yes Then I thought that…

It would be nice to spend some time with you

- Wishes do come true - Oh, yes

You probably imagined a different situation

- But... it will be something to remember - Yes.

It's time

I think everything will be fine

You don't need to motivate me It doesn't work here

I know what to do

The rest will be up to them and Grandpa

Are you sure you want to do this?

Of course What are the options?

She didn't choose you or Nikita.

You're resisting Relax

Lupak!

They're alive
