Earthquake! Run!

Oh!

The earthquake focused mainly on an apartment under construction,

while at a nearby business district, there was barely the shaking of a rat running.

It obviously wasn't caused by just an earthquake or a tornado.

Captain!

We tracked the concrete fragments that went flying into the sky.

And?

They passed the atmosphere at amazing speed and went to space.

To space?

Yes, sir.

We quickly switched to remote radars and are still tracking them.

There wasn't a single piece of concrete left at the building construction site.

Not a single piece?

All that's left is steel beams.

The steel beams are left?

Yeah.

Captain!

The computer determined where the concrete is going.

Galaxy System Planet No.3, Planet Zagoras.

Planet Zagoras' gravity is pulling it.

Planet Zagoras' gravity?

I don't get it. How can the gravity of such a distant planet

focus on just this one building?

Yes. It might have something to do with the cement or gravel.

I believe the gravel was brought from Aino Village in Gunma Prefecture.

Aino Village?

It doesn't seem to be the cement.

Captain, at Aino Village, at the same time as the apartment,

there was an underground shift.

Okay. Let's begin a geological survey of Aino Village.

Go and Minami flew to Aino Village to conduct a geological survey.

There's Aino Village.

I see nothing but fields.

They said the population is less than 200 people.

Yeah, it's a small village.

It's a lot like my home village.

Nagano, was it? Where your home is?

Yeah.

You were probably a rowdy kid.

No way!

The local bully would make me cry and my teachers would always scold me.

I got called Jamicco. It was a pain.

Jamicco? What's that?

You know silkworms?

The caterpillars that spin cocoons?

Some of them don't spin cocoons.

Ones that never learned how from their parents

and were scorned by others get called that.

Jamicco.

Now everyone, be careful going home. Go straight home.

Okay! Okay!

—Later. See you tomorrow. Bye. -Bye!

Bye. Take care.

Hey! Jamicco has to stand again.

Hey! Jamicco, you forgot your homework again, huh?

You made a girl cry, huh?

Like he could make girl cry.

A girl made him cry!

Are the buckets heavy?

Here, I'll make it lighter for you. Here!

Here, hold it! Come on!

How's that? Lighter, isn't it?

Say something, you weakling!

Let's make it even lighter!

Here!

See, it's lighter, right?

Now thank me!

Thank you.

Say it on your hands and knees!

Thank you.

Man, this guy's hopeless!

Hey, Jamicco, say something!

Oh, it's the teacher!

Uh oh! Run!

Rokusuke!

Look at you! You're soaked again!

Did Susumu and the others bully you again?

Then what happened?

Is this on purpose?!

Well?

You're such a hopeless Jamicco.

I never fought anybody even once.

It's hard to believe that ever happened to the MAT Gun crack-shot Minami.

One day, a bear came into the village.

—A bear? —Yeah.

I took a hunting rifle from the hunter's house next door and faced off with a bear.

Why were you so reckless?!

Because I was a true weakling.

Being reckless is something

only one so bullied they've nowhere left to run can do.

You can still run while you have a place to run to.

Did you shoot the bear?

When I faced it, I lost my nerve.

A hunter shot the bear.

But, thanks to that, I gained confidence.

I realized that if I set my mind to it, I could even face a bear.

After that, the bullies left me alone.

This isn't from just one or two earthquakes.

It's slowly come up over the past few months.

It's like it's a circle.

It seems like the entire village has shifted up.

Look. Five meters down it's red clay, but below that is a green rock.

Have you ever seen rock like this?

Oh! It's an earthquake! Run!

Hurry and get down! Get down! Come on!

Oh!

Oh! It's a monster! Help!

A monster has appeared from under Aino Village!

The kaflu disappeared underground.

The rock of Aino Village was analyzed by MA T's Physical Geology Team.

As far as we can tell,

no type of magma with this geological structure has ever been created before.

Hmm.

So it's not from Earth after all.

Yes.

Considering that this rock contains

a radioactive element and the green mineral, Melulyte,

it's likely a meteorite that fell from Planet Zagoras before recorded history.

A meteorite?

MAT immediately moved their base of operations to a hill near Aino Village

and gathered the village representatives.

Hey! It's off limits! Let's check it out!

Hey! It's dangerous!

Come on, let us see! Come on, let us see!

There's dangerous stuff here so stay back!

-Come on, why not? Let us see! —Now go play over there!

The meteorite from Planet Zagoras is a giant rock 3 km in diameter.

Aino Village is located directly on top of this meteorite.

You're saying this village is on top of a meteorite?

Yes.

What do the village earthquakes have to do with that meteorite?

The gravity of the meteorite's mother planet, Planet Zagoras,

is affecting the radioactive element and the Melulyte in the meteorite

and pulling it upwards.

That's why the entire village has shifted up.

At this rate, the entire village will be pulled into space with the meteorite.

This is an emergency. Oh my.

What do we do?

Then what is that monster?

Was it living inside the meteorite?

It looks like an underground microscopic organism got inside the meteorite

and was mutated by the meteorite's radiation.

Oh!

Wow!

Okay then!

Hurry! Please hurry!

Everyone, hurry up!

Come on! Faster, faster!

Your MAT Gun was stolen?!

I'm very sorry.!

Find it at once!

—Yes, sir! —Yes, sir!

Everybody on board line up and sit down. Come on! Come on now, Hanako-chan.

Hey, be careful. Come on. One, two, come on!

Heave ho! Heave ho!

Get on the truck already! You're the only ones left!

Sir! We wanna carry the organ!

Yeah!

Oh, you do? What kind students!

Are you going to run away?!

Rokusuke! What are you hanging around for?!

I'm not running anywhere!

I'm gonna fight the monster!

Aren't you going to join me?!

What is that in your hands?

It's a MAT Gun!

—Give that toy over here! Give it to me! —No! No! No!

—Just give it to me, Rokusuke! —No! No!

—Give it to me! Give it! —No!

What was that sound?

-Was it from the grounds? —Okay!

If nobody else is coming, I'll do it alone!

Rokusuke!

—Rokusuke! —Jamicco!

-Come back! Wait! -What's wrong?!

Jamicco had a MAT Gun!

—What?! -Jamicco?

Take your students, quickly!

Okay! Come on, everyone! Quickly! Quickly!

All civilians have been evacuated.

Okay.

The gravity of Planet Zagoras is suddenly getting stronger!

Minami and Go aren't back yet.

RETURN OF ULTRAMAN

Give me that.

What is that MAT Gun for?

I'm gonna fight the monster!

Your mother will worry.

My mom's away working and isn't in the village!

What about your father?

My dad's dead!

Then you're alone?

That's why they call you Jamicco?

You're a weakling, too.

Even when your friends bully you, you're too scared to ever fight.

Your teacher's never complimented you and does nothing but scold you.

Go...

Could we let this boy fight?

He's probably trying to fight something for the first time in his life.

But...

Oh!

Come on!

Shoot!

Go on!

Shoot!

Okay, let's split up.

Take care of him!

Okay! Let's go!

Come on!

Let's get closer! Are you scared?

I'm not scared at all!

Okay!

Let's go!

Here goes!

Okay!

I'm fighting the monster behind the school!

Minami is with a child. Requesting rescue!

Roger!

Oka, take a MAT Gyro and rescue them!

Yes, sir!

Everyone else drive the monster underground! Don't let it out of the village!

Yes, sir!

Oh! Look out!

Are you okay?!

Begin attack!

Roger!

The monster's getting out of the village! Stop it!

Roger! Fire!

Oh! Are you okay?!

Get over to that tree and hold on!

Help me!

Ultraman saved us!

Yeah.

You fought well!

Well done!

Well done!

Where's Go?

Hey!

—Oh! —Go!

Hey!

—You're all right! —Yeah!

Well done!

Are you sad your hometown's gone?

I'm not sad at all.

Even though you lost your hometown, the memory of fighting there is forever.

From now on, no matter where you move to, if you feel down, remember it!

"I fought a monster in my hometown once."

I hope it happens again.

Next time I'll shoot a lot more!

Stop it!

Had enough?

It's the MAT Gyro!

Hey!

The space insect Nokogilin absorbs laser beams and quickly grows bigger.

The MAT Arrow flies! Ultraman's Spin Kick cuts the air!

Ultraman's in danger! His Ultra Bracelet flashes!

Let's all watch again next week!
