Like, my mom was diagnosed with cancer a year ago,

and then my dad was laid off.

I think in a lot of ways, lately

I've felt like life has been event after event

in terms of things that feel so outside of my control.

Since I've been out here, I've realized

what's most important to me.

And, like, it is all about family.

And here, on the Banker's Island,

For today's excursion, you will be broken into teams of two.

In the bay, you will find unmarked floating chests.

You and your teammate will paddle to a chest,

bring it back, and reveal the values of the two

cases inside.

The highest available chest contains

a combined $4 million.

- Wow.

- If you think the total value of your cases is too low,

the Banker will allow you one chance

to swap for a different chest, which you must keep.

Now, inside some of the floating chests is a key.

If you retrieve a chest with a key,

you can decide to keep the cases

inside or use the key to open this golden safe behind me.

This safe holds a case worth $5 million.

- Wow.

- But like with any great heist, cracking a safe

comes with risk.

And you won't learn what those risks

are until you open your chest.

The team with the highest case value from their chest

will be safe, so make sure you choose wisely.

- Teams will be random.

- I knew I was going first.

- Aron, you and I.

- I'll take it.

So this excursion is perfect.

who won this excursion.

But I want to remind you what is at stake here.

Not only do you get to choose who

is facing the Banker tonight, you will

also be safe from elimination.

Amy, Stephanie, it looks like your team made

the boldest decision of all.

By opening the golden safe, you've

added a whopping $5 million to tonight's game board.
