and putting makeup on her two faces.

So I am feeling great, but Claudia making a bad deal

was a wake-up call to everybody else.

The person with the most experience

at this game ended up out.

Way I figure it, so far I'm like a cat.

I've probably gotten a couple extra lives

that I didn't even know about.

So this is good.

Right now, I am targeting Rob, point blank, done,

end of discussion.

- Rob has been trying to take me out.

Only one of us is going to come out alive.

- The girls are trying to get to him early.

I know you're with him a lot, so you would know more than--

I just assume it was personal.

But even if it is personal, [bleep] it bonds you.

I love Alyssa, because she's just a kind soul

and such a great listener.

There's no one really that seems to understand

what's going on as well as she does.

One of the nerdiest things I do is play "Magic: the Gathering."

It's a card game, casting spells.

You play creatures.

Every player, it could be a card in my game.

Alyssa is like one of my strongest cards.

She's like the princess card.

- I need to find a happy place. - I know you do.

- Because it is important that I am the princess.

- Nick is the pet card. He's the fun card.

- Oh!

- But he's a card that you always want to have around,

because you're like, it's a fun card to play.

Rob is, like, one of the most powerful cards in the game,

but he has like a huge drawback.

- Eeny, meeny, miny, moe, time for you to [bleep] go.

- Rob is like the ultimate weapon.

Like, he can win it all, but he also

can take you out in a second.

I think Miranda is like a chaos card.

- Like I said, I say we can get all of us

together, go take the helicopter,

and just all leave together.

- Yeah, I'm not even sure they're good or the bad.

They're just-- they're fun.

But they're not helping me win the game.

- So what are you guys' thoughts on everything?

- Somebody pinch me, 'cause I can't believe I'm still here.

- The vibe was definitely different,

though, after that Temple.

I hope there's a lot more teamwork,

because you got to stop talking strategy and start talking

your mental stability.

Coming into this experience, I want people to know,

like, it doesn't matter about the strategy.

It just gets annoying after a while.

You want to be able to enjoy yourself.

Don't wake up and talk about strategy and just leave it be.

everything that happened to me in my life,

- I'm almost set on who I really want to be

a final two with.

I'm pretty set on who I want that to be.

- A couple of alliances have started to form.

I don't know for sure, which means I'm not part of them.

Boston Rob and Aron are pretty tight,

but in the end, if it's Aron and I

sitting in the final two, physically, I'll beat him.

I don't want to see like all these big bulked-up men,

like Rob and Nick, winning everything.

You and I could be the silent two.

I want it to be two average Joes

that could actually benefit from the money.

And I think, size-wise, like, it would be 50/50.

It would be like, may the best man win.

- I don't really want to be connected to her.

But I'm not gonna tell her that.

She's very nice,

but sometimes I get a little annoyed

about how much she talks.

and honestly, I don't want the potential break

in trust in our game.

and we all like to be entertained.

Because I just heard some stuff.

Rob is leading the whole pack, and I

knew that from the beginning.

But now he's over there schmoozing everybody over.

so I don't know what's up with that.

what just happened.

Like, we are so opposite.

keeps me at bay when he needs to.

It's occurred to the Banker that you've barely spent

any time in the island's beautiful, peaceful waters.

So who's up for a fun, relaxing day at the beach?

[soft dramatic music]

Relaxing, lounging.

- If your gut is telling you that this won't be relaxing,

then you'll have the advantage.

Past winners of "Deal or No Deal"

went with their gut, and they called the Banker's bluff.

His ultimate opponent should be no different.

So today, he's putting your intuition to the test.

You will be divided into two teams selected at random.

One guest from each team will compete each round.

On my go, team members will race their boats

towards a floating platform containing

multiple unmarked cases.

You are to grab any two cases and bring them back to shore.

The first person who gets back has the choice.

You can either bluff or you can guess.

If you choose to bluff, you will

look at both of your cases, then attempt

to convince your unwitting opponent

to take the case with the lower value.

Or you can guess and use your intuition to read the bluffer

and pick the higher of their two cases.

The team with the highest combined case value

wins this excursion and is safe from elimination.

- Ooh. - Wow.

- While any member of the losing team

could be facing the Banker tonight.

- Shoot.

- Every case opened today will be added to the board

at the Temple tonight.

- The entire team is gonna be up for elimination,

not just the bottom two.

I mean, the Banker's changing the rules

every step of the way.

I'm just trying to survive in this game to make it

to the end to face him.

- You've been randomly split into two teams.

Now, each team must choose a captain.

The winning team's captain will get to decide

who faces the Banker tonight.

Go ahead and talk.

- I'll be a captain.

I'll start when I was a captain.

I wanted to be team captain because I wanted

to make assertive decisions.

- In this team, Dawson's the captain.

Trust me, he's not making any decisions without me.

- If I'm gonna leave this game,

I want to be in control of my own destiny.

Whether I was the losing team or a winning team,

I needed to be in charge of that scenario.

- Dawson and Amy volunteering as captains.

- Poker is less about bluffing.

It's more about analyzing the information

and making the correct move.

- Dawson gets to the platform first,

pulling briefcases right now.

- Our group strategy is to make them bluff...

- He is already on his way back.

- Because it's easier than putting on a poker face.

- It's Dawson with the two cases.

looks back at the other case again.

She looked twice at that case.

- It's all about being able to get back in time

to choose what you want, you know, to have that choice.

My strategy was to be the bluffer.

I am confident about bluffing.

Go ahead and discard your cases.

- My goal is to say nothing.

- Miranda will bluff for round two.

I've ever seen in my life.

Miranda looks right at Joe,

as if to say, "Can she do that?"

That's when I knew it was the other case.

- Dawson's team in the lead with 1.45 million in cases.

Amy's team, 190,000.

Remember, guys, the entire winning team

will be safe from elimination.

and I have for many years.

The way she shrugged her shoulders,

Like, we are getting raked across the coals.

Like, they are killing us.

It's, like, 5,000 million to, like, $1.

Man, this wasn't our challenge.

Maybe we could have strategized better.

- Gold team with 2.2 million, Silver team 265,000.

- I know Amy's against me.

Amy, don't play poker for a living.

- Round four, Nick versus Alyssa.

Alyssa, you will be the bluffer.

Go ahead and open your cases.

- Team Silver gets off to a rocky start.

The strategy to not say anything

clearly is not working.

And I'm up against Nick, and I've

got to do something about it.

Because I'm not gonna stand here and say nothing

and allow us to lose another round

and put us all in the bottom.

- Which one's the bigger amount?

- Why would I tell you that?

- Is that one the bigger amount?

- Hmm, wouldn't you like to think so?

- What's your middle name, Alyssa?

- My middle name?

Why does that matter to you?

Nick's strategy seemed like he was trying to be charming.

- Don't let him charm you.

- You know, I'm trying to give her, like, the look,

you know, the Brooklyn Nick look.

Give her a nice little lip lick,

get them all glistening,

and just lower the eyes a little bit

and just show the dimple, you know?

I give her that look, her knees start shaking,

drops to the floor, starts sweating profusely.

It basically wraps them around my finger.

- Isn't he so charming? Man, it's a good thing I'm gay.

- Yeah! - Yeah!

- She's got a point, there.

Unless you run into a gay person,

and I guess it doesn't work that well.

I've already pictured myself packing and gone.

to run away with it if Nick successfully

calls Alyssa's bluff.

- I'm freaking out, because Rob's team

could have control of the game.

They're picking me.

I know that Rob knows I want him out.

And Rob wants me out.

- OK, Nick.

- We're gonna go with the left case.

- Give it a pull.

- All right.

- Silver team adding 1.5 million.

- I'm good at hiding my true emotions.

I worked at a theme park as a character for seven years.

I'm very good at controlling my face,

so I wasn't worried about that portion.

- Yes. - Let's go.

- All of a sudden, the tide turns,

and Alyssa gets the 1.5 million.

Now we got a game again.

- Gold has $2.5 million

and Silver closing the gap with $1,765,000.

It is anyone's game at this point.

Last two players, step up. - Let's go, Aron.

- The game is in your hands, fellas.

- This is working out perfectly,

because it's Aron and I together.

What I need to do strategically to eliminate Amy

is to convince Aron to put me in the best position to win.

Obviously, if you guys get the next one, you'll win.

And if not, we'll win, right? - Yeah.

- But the problem is, if you guys win, Amy will get me.

- OK, this is for the game.

- OK, we'll just talk out there.

- Go get those cases.

- $2.5 million is still out there.

But apparently, I'm his target, and I've

And we can't just promise all that.

to do what he wants.

I would do anything to keep him in the game.

But if Rob's team wins, Dawson's the captain.

He'll decide who goes up against the Banker.

So the only thing I care about right now

is securing my safety and Alyssa.

I'm gonna do whatever it takes to win this game.

- Rob coming up the beach first.

- You're gonna let Aron bluff.

- Yeah.

I swear I had it.

But you're making me change my mind.

- I know I am.

- OK, Rob, what's your intuition telling you?

- I had a read initially.

At the last second, I switched.

and the Silver team wins.

$3,015,000, it was just enough.

- Oh, my God, bluffing Rob and tricking him

in the last second was one of the most

satisfying moments. I was through the roof.

I was ecstatic.

I knew that it meant that my team was safe,

and I was happy as can be.

from facing the Banker.

Amy will have a big decision of who

to put up against the Banker. - Yes, yes.

- I had the read, and he tricked me

out of it, so credit to Aron.

He's better than his teacher.

He got me, and now I don't have a secure person on my team

that wouldn't take me out.

I would rather play than sit on the sidelines

and let my fate be handed to me.

- I mean, I don't want to be part of this discussion.

Being the team captain, it's my first time

to have immunity, but it's also the first time

where I have to essentially get my hands dirty.

I've got to pick somebody from the opposite team to play.

- So do you know what you're gonna do now tonight?

- I've thought the whole way home.

- OK, I'll play. - But-- but--

- I'll play.

- Do you know, if you play, if you lose, you're out?

- Yeah. Well, let's gamble.

I figure I got two choices.

I can sit there and let it happen to me,

or I can play and maybe let it happen.

- I don't feel safe about Kim.

I'm not gonna sit by and let her play

and take me out. - All right.

I don't even know if she'll put me in.

The fact that I asked her to put me in,

she's probably like, "Well, if that's what he wants,

we shouldn't do that," which is probably smart.

But the way I look at it,

it's more advantageous to play.

[light suspenseful music]

- I'm gonna do what's best for my game.

- Who do you plan on putting up?

- The person that does not benefit my game,

the person I cannot beat. - Who is it, Rob?

But also, that's gonna give him a lot of control, too.

Rob is so strategic.

He's controlling so many people right now.

He is gonna control everyone.

And before you know it, it's gonna be too late

and you're gonna give him the game.

- If she puts up Rob, there's a 50/50 chance

either he stays or leaves, right?

If he stays, Rob is gonna go after me.

I know Rob.

He's gonna sweet talk his way

into playing the Banker's game

so that he's no longer at risk.

Rob knows I know this.

Therefore, I'm a detriment to his game.

- I honestly feel like some [bleep] starting

is happening from somewhere.

If Rob plays and wins, I know that Rob

would love to see me gone,

because Rob knows that I know his game.

So I want to see him go.

in hopes that she would win and take Rob out

because I want him out of this game.

where dreams are made, then crushed,

then recycled and sold as merch.

Once again, one of you will be playing

There are five guests on the losing team,

meaning five potential nominees, Kim, Rob,

Stephanie, Nick, and Dawson.

Amy, who will be playing "Deal or No Deal" tonight?

- So the only question I've had in my head since winning

the challenge is am I gonna be fake,

like some of these people have been to my face?

Or am I gonna be real?

- [chuckles]

- If Amy's smart, she won't let me play,

but I feel like if anyone else goes up against the Banker

and makes a good deal, they're sending me packing.

So I definitely want her to let me play.

- The only question I've had in my head since winning

the challenge is, am I gonna be fake,

like some of these people have been to my face?

Or am I gonna be real?

And I think these people know I keep it real.

- I went back and forth a lot

if I was gonna let Rob play or not.

If I don't let him play, am I a target?

I don't know.

I think, in the end, letting Rob play

is the best for me and my game.

- All right, Rob.

Tonight, you're gonna be playing

to add money to the final case.

The current case total stands at $1,005,000.

And it could end up being worth tens of millions of dollars.

If you make it to the finale and win,

what would you do with the money?

of the game.
