she's trying to cut my throat.

I wanna control the game.

Aron's willing to work with me.

- Welcome to the Banker's Temple.

One of you will face the Banker in Deal or No Deal.

- It's gonna be Aron against the Banker.

- No deal. [cheering]

- This wily accountant added $600,000

to the final case.

You must choose who leaves the game tonight.

- I'm gonna have to pick Brantzen.

- Brantzen, you have been eliminated.

- You're a good man, Brantzen.

- Good morning.

[laughter]

- Last night at Temple, I beat the Banker.

And I did survive the first Deal or No Deal game.

I added $600,000 to the final case.

I'm here because I wanted to prove that I'm not

just a short person with the stutter

and a learning disability,

but to be someone that despite having some odds against me,

I'm someone to be proud of and respected.

Knock-knock. - Hey, hey. Come in.

- Today, it's a new game. I'm refreshed.

And now it's gonna be, who's my ally, who's not?

- Last night-- both: That was a good game.

Oh, my God, that was-- - But that board was sick, man.

- Bro, like, to follow that up, I'm like, hoo.

What a way to start the show, the season, everything.

That was the coolest thing ever.

- Last night, I survived.

I mean, I made a good alliance with my man, Aron.

- And I wanna get a grasp on the game

because now I'm, like, restarting.

- I feel like it's good, like, you do the little stuff,

I'm handling the bigger groups, and then we come together.

- They really don't.

- Aron is like a little brother

who you're trying to teach something new.

The good thing is,

he understands the math of the game.

He's observant.

He pays attention. I like that.

And he doesn't seem like he's a threat to me.

But I do feel Kim is the only one who hasn't said a word

to me about strategy since we landed on the beach.

There are certain people I do not trust.

Boston Rob, he is a phenomenal competitor.

But because I'm a huge reality show junkie,

I know how Rob plays, period.

- [quietly] Rob is always an option.

- [laughs nervously] Yeah. - Right?

Everybody thinks the same way.

Why don't we go ahead and get rid of him?

- Yeah. - Right?

I'm dropping these breadcrumbs,

these little tidbits of information.

But the minute I bring up Rob's name,

Jamil is all dodgy and shady.

He's not making eye contact with me.

I'm on to his game.

- Yo, heads up.

Ms. Kim up there, she mentioned

we gotta get Rob out of here.

- Yeah, you better watch that one right there.

- She could have stayed

the sweet old lady for a little bit longer.

[giggles] But she came out.

She's a stone-cold killer.

- You guys, they just did the look-up again,

just so you know. - Yeah.

- They all looked up at the same time.

There's game talk going on out here, I'll guarantee you.

- Ooh. [both laugh]

- Jamil definitely thinks he's a master manipulator.

But Jamil is Rob's snitch.

- So, like, who do you--like, who is, like, cliques here?

- Look out there right now.

You've got Nick, Rob, and Miranda.

- Jamil.

- Jamil is another one of the rats.

You know who the leader of the bro group is.

- Rob. - Jamil is the vice president.

[laughter]

At this point in the game,

I've seen two very different sides of the camp.

So for my strategy in the game, I'm gonna be a chameleon.

That's something I'm really good at.

I was closeted for a vast majority of my life.

I think this game is about

making real, personable connections.

- That's all you can do. - That's all you can do.

- I've always gravitated way more towards genuine people,

and I felt your energy. - Aww, thank you.

- To be honest, I would take Aron

to the final two because I know I could beat him

in a physical competition.

- I actually was gonna ask, like, if you thought--

you had in mind for being a ally or not--

It's nice to keep the bigger fish to fry.

There's always gonna be a bigger target

than any of us, and it's gonna be him.

- I mean, like, I'm friendly with Rob, like,

really only because, like, we're from the same town.

like, it's really just kind of you.

And, unfortunately, the relationship ended.

She was just joking, but if the Banker decides

that I'm worthy enough, you best believe

I'm going to get Reverie back.

- Look at these game faces.

You all came to play today, huh?

- Oh, yeah.

- Well, welcome to the Banker's private recreation club.

Here, he will test how calculating

each of you can be.

For today's excursion, you will be broken into teams of two.

Each team will consist of a gatherer and a hunter.

The hunter will shoot at the targets,

each holding a case of a different value.

The smaller the target, the higher the value.

Where are the arrows, you ask?

The Banker was feeling a little extra devious last night

and shot them all into the trees way up there.

- What? - That's right.

Each team has 10 arrows they can retrieve

from high in the jungle canopy.

The gatherers must climb the trees, collect the arrows,

and bring them back to their hunter.

The team that shoots down the highest-value case

will be safe tonight.

If you run out of arrows or you shoot down

the lowest case value,

you will be the bottom two and face the Banker

with the risk of going home.

And now for my favorite part.

The Banker has left some tempting personal offers

high above the arrows--

$20,000 in cold hard cash.

- Oh, yeah.

- Taking the extra time

to reach those offers

could slow down your team.

Is anyone calculating enough

to take the personal offer and win the excursion?

I'd think the Banker would find that type of opponent

worthy of his attention, wouldn't you?

- Oh, yeah. - Oh, for sure.

- So let's see who will be paired together.

One at a time, come and grab a band.

Okay, Nick, you're first up.

Nick has pulled gold.

Rob.

- With me giving Kim the immunity

at the first challenge, she kept me safe.

So I trust Kim.

But I still don't trust Rob.

And now it's like this camp is being divided into two groups.

There is Rob's followers,

and then there is the rest of us.

- Dawson, let's see what you got.

- So I'm praying in my head.

I hope I get someone that I'm working with.

- Yes, Dawson. - There we go.

As soon as I matched with Jordan,

I knew right away. I was like,

"This is literally the one I wanted."

I was like, "We're gonna rock this."

- Let's see what you pull.

- Bring it on over, Kim. - Go, girl.

- Aron. - Purple.

- My dawg.

As luck would have it, I got the beast, Aron!

- I'm not gonna do amazing in this.

- Oh, God.

Physically, he's not there yet.

But my main objective is obviously to keep myself safe

because we've seen what we're dealing with out here.

- All right, now that you're paired up,

decide who's the hunter and who's the gatherer.

- Obviously, you're gonna be the hunter.

- You go to the woods. I'll shoot.

- Let's try. - Are we all set?

- Yes. - Yes, sir.

- Now go get those cases.

- Go ahead, Aron. - You got it.

- Let's go, Aron. - Come on!

- Oh!

[dramatic music]

- Oh. - Ooh.

- [grunts]

- I am so glad I'm not scaling that tree.

- I don't know how to start this.

- Okay.

- I feel like Tarzan.

He makes it look so easy.

- [growls]

- [grunts] Three.

- I can hear some effort back there.

Do you hear that? - Yeah, I hear it.

- I hear a lot of grunting.

- Alyssa, you've got this, girl.

You've got this.

- [grunts]

- Ooh.

- I feel like I got my groove.

I have my fourth arrow.

I think that's enough.

I gotta get back to Claudia

so she can hit the highest target

that she can so we are safe from elimination tonight.

- [sighs] Ooh.

Oh, this is [bleep].

[grunts]

I'm dead last. I could feel myself struggling.

And everyone else seems to be all the way up.

My biggest hurdle of this game is I get overwhelmed so easily.

So I'm not gonna get overwhelmed.

I need to hold that hope that I can find that rhythm.

- Where's Aron? Let's go.

I'm a huge target.

I mean, Aron has to retrieve as many arrows

as he can to give me the best chance

of staying in the game.

Come on, Aron! You can do it.

If not, I could be facing the Banker.

Aron?

Aron? - [grunts]

- Hunters, you need to shoot down the highest-value case

for tonight's Deal or No Deal.

And if you can, aim that way, please.

[laughter]

- I am not going for the personal offer

because I need to get back to Dawson as soon as possible.

I don't wanna put Dawson at a disadvantage

by spending too much time in the tree

and lessening my team's chances of being safe.

And I got seven, so I'm like,

"Okay, this is enough. I gotta get down there."

I wanna give Dawson his chance to secure us.

- Come on, come on.

- Jamil coming back with four arrows.

- Yes.

- Okay, Nick's back with five arrows.

- Here we go. - Hands 'em off to Stephanie.

Jordan back with seven arrows.

- Okay, Claudia lines up for her first shot.

- Let's go for the 750,000.

- Here we go. - No pressure.

[suspenseful music]

- Oh! - Yes!

- $750,000 off the board.

One and done. - Good luck, everybody.

- You got this.

- At least one shot at the big one.

See how it goes.

I don't wanna face the Banker and potentially be eliminated.

And so to secure our safety,

I'm gonna be taking one shot at the 1 1/2 million target.

- Ooh, miss.

- All right, we'll try another one.

- Dawson lines up.

- Looking at the target, 500 was, like, something

that's gonna have the best chances of us

knocking down a briefcase.

I did grow up in a family that hunts and fishes,

and I have a crossbow myself.

It's gonna be so easy.

Boom and boom.

Oh, what the hell was that?

- You got it, Dawson. - I'm getting this one.

- Ooh, miss for Dawson.

Firing again.

- What the hell is that? - Choose something else.

Listen, Aron's up there. It's gonna take a while.

He hasn't even made it up the tree.

- Ooh. Hard work.

[groans]

Let's go. That's one.

[whispers] That's one.

I'm so exhausted,

and I know that I'm dead last.

It took me 10 times the time it took for everyone

to climb the tree.

Slow and steady.

I know that I'm a great competitor,

and I'll do anything to stay in this game.

But it would take me an hour or two

to get all the other ones.

[grunts]

- The Banker, he offers the personal offer

for anyone who wants to go retrieve it.

[exclaims]

By the time I realized I was pretty far behind,

I was like, "I have to take it,"

but I'm keeping this information to myself.

- Stephanie with her third arrow.

- Yeah! - Stephanie, $300,000.

Not good enough.

That's gonna put you into last place.

- Sorry about that-- - Don't worry about it--

- Sorry about that. - Nick and Stephanie,

currently the bottom two,

but there are still some lower cases in play.

Dawson, how many you have left?

- Three.

- So the Banker is always testing us.

In this particular excursion,

he's testing our ability to calculate the other players,

and not a lot of people are shooting at the 1.5.

- Oh! - Yes!

- Dawson knocks down the $400,000 case.

The highest-value case taken off the board is 750,000.

The 1.5 million is still there.

- That shows me that they might be a little bit risk-averse.

- There you go, Alyssa! There you go.

- Alyssa with a full quiver.

- It's all of them.

- And Miranda is right on Alyssa's heels.

- So proud of you. - All right, Amy.

How many do you have in your quiver?

- Eight.

- Kim, how many arrows do you have?

- More. - More than eight?

- I've got a lot. - Let's see what you got.

- I can do this.

I've brought home an elk,

and I've brought home a deer before.

- Aah! - Kim fires and misses.

- Yeah, she did.

- Amy loads up.

- 450,000.

Like, I do not go shoot on the weekends.

I do not go playing in the sand.

I don't go cleaning my gun and getting dirty.

But being from Oklahoma, I know if I calm down

and mentally get myself there, I can do it.

- Oh, Amy knocks down the $450,000 case,

adding yet another big amount to the Banker's board tonight.

- Aah! We good tonight, baby.

- We have not seen Aron.

- Come on, Aron, you can do it.

I knew that we're not gonna be the first back.

But everybody's back now, and Aron's still not here.

What's going on?

- Okay, I'm going down.

When I got the third arrow, I felt like I had to stop there

because getting at least a few shots on the board

was better than none.

And I was so exhausted

after getting three arrows.

- Kim once again going for the high-value case.

- Damn it.

- Stephanie and Nick currently in the bottom two.

Jamil, Claudia, 750,000, the current highest-value case.

And here's Aron!

- My man. - Yeah!

- I tried. - Really?

You only have three arrows?

- Going for the 1-5!

- Because of Alyssa's skill at pulling the arrows,

Kim's got a lot of tries here.

- I have six arrows.

- I have faith in you.

- Kim hasn't even gotten close once.

- Just waiting to see what she does.

- Yeah, that's fair.

- Because that's the smartest thing to do.

- Yeah.

- Oh. - Go for the five.

- Go for the five? - Go for the five.

- You got it. - It's a bigger target.

- I got five arrows. Oh.

- It's okay. It's okay.

with the risk of facing the Banker.

- Confidently making his approach,

Rob is going to shoot at the $1.5 million target.

No one has been able to hit it yet.

- The target in this game isn't the little disks.

The target in the game is me.

If I don't have immunity, I'm going home.

So my plan is to unload all the arrows at the 1.5.

- Arrow number one.

Oh, it's a miss.

- Ooh. - [exhales sharply]

- Both Rob and Kim have two arrows left.

- Miss. - She's shooting arrows.

They're going up, through the trees.

They're nowhere near the target.

I mean, I'm like, "What targets are you looking at?"

- Last arrow.

- Y'all need some extra arrows?

'Cause we only needed one.

- Rob lines up his second arrow.

- Ooh.

- Rob, down to his last arrow.

Kim, down to her last arrow.

- Okay.

- If you miss with this last arrow,

you and Alyssa will place last...

- You can do it.

- And be up for elimination.

- I feel bad for Alyssa.

- Kim misses with her final arrow.

So unless Rob misses as well,

you and Alyssa are the bottom two.

- When the pressure's on, I love it.

Not to say that I always make the shot,

because I don't.

But I always wanna take the shot.

- Hits the 1.5 million and takes control of this game.

- We destroyed that.

- Me and Rob, we're superheroes,

like, Batman and Robin guys.

- I'm not Robin. - I know.

Someone that was, like, good in chaos.

- Under pressure. - Under pressure.

- That's not a superhero. - I know. But--

- That's from "MASH," bro. - [laughs]

[dramatic music]

- Rob and Aron, not only are you safe for tonight,

but you will also decide who from the losing team

will be facing elimination in a game of Deal or No Deal.

Alyssa, Kim, one of you will face the Banker tonight

in the hopes of securing a good deal.

And that means accepting an offer that is more valuable

than what's in your case.

If you do this, you can choose who will be eliminated.

- Yep. - But if you make a bad deal

by accepting an offer that is lower than what is

in your selected case, you will be heading home.

How you feeling right now? - It ain't over till it's over.

Thank God I took the personal offer.

I'm at the bottom two 100% because of Kim.

I went up that tree. I was busting my ass.

That was one of the hardest things

I've ever done in my life,

and she didn't hit anything.

So now I gotta dig myself out of this hole.

and I obviously didn't share it.

And I don't want anyone to know.

I think she told me that as a friend.

She trusts me, and that definitely strengthened

my bond with her.

It just kind of fit nicely

that we feel so comfortable sharing.

And I really love having a friend in this game.

against the Banker tonight.

- So you're not even gonna try to convince me

to--to pick her?

- Uh, no.

[both laugh]

probably to pick his brain.

- 'Cause I'm getting my time in right now.

- I'm sure you know that Rob wants Kim out

and me and Alyssa are close.

After week one, I was kind of a target

because they knew that I knew the game.

- When I beat the Banker,

I'm gonna have to select who is going to leave this game.

If I'm not able to get to Rob directly,

I have to get to Rob indirectly.

I can look at taking out Claudia,

Jamil, and Nick to reduce Rob's security in the game.

by facing the Banker in Deal or No Deal.

As you all know,

Aron and Rob secured the highest-value case.

And remember, whoever you choose to face the Banker

will be at risk for elimination tonight.

Alyssa and Kim missed the mark

and ended up with the lowest-value case.

They are your choices to play.

- We had a very difficult decision.

We feel like Kim has the best chance of beating the Banker,

so we want Kim to play Deal or No Deal.
