In this part we tell you everything about

our way of working from inquiry to booking.

And then after the booking we're preparing the

bridal couple for the wedding and also how

we prepare for the wedding.

how we work on the wedding day.

of weddings.

We usually receive an inquiry via the contact

form on our website.

But from time to time we also get

messages directly via Instagram.

the couples to complete the contact form on

our homepage.

And as a result we simply have a

much better overview and order in our email

box.

the contact form.

If someone fills out the contact form completely

then we can see very well whether the

customer suits us.

Yeah, in the contact form the customer already

tells us a lot about the style of

the wedding, the location, the number of guests,

something like that.

And this allows us to quickly get an

idea of the direction into which this will

go regarding style.

Yeah, that it is really important to find

the right customer.

As of late we ask for the Instagram

accounts of our couples in the contact form.

Yeah, because this is a great opportunity for

us.

Previously the couples had the opportunity to attach

a picture.

But if you look at someone's Instagram account

it's much easier to get an impression of

a person than just seeing a single picture.

Yeah, this allows us to see very quickly

if the couple suits us and corresponds to

the target group we want to reach.

For example if a couple marries in a

castle then there are certainly also photographers who

love something like that.

Yeah, then it is best for the couple

to find a photographer who can accommodate their

wedding with great enthusiasm.

Yeah, and if the couple suits us we

send out our offer and calculate the travel

costs.

We already explained that if the couple agrees

with the offer in principle we always arrange

a Skype conversation.

Yeah, the Skype session is particularly important for

us because we always want to get to

know our couples before.

Yeah, sometimes it works out that we meet

in person but mostly just online because the

couples often come from abroad.

Yeah, wedding is just something really personal and

we are so close to the bride and

groom during the whole day.

Yeah, and yeah that is why it is

very important for us to establish a personal

relationship with a bridal couple.

Yeah, we do not want to be service

providers at the wedding day but friends.

So this simply creates much nicer more authentic

photos if we get to know each other

before.

Yeah, so that is just why the Skype

conversation is primarily not about business.

Yeah, we talk a lot about personal things.

For example, we always want to know how

the two met each other and often we

quickly find a common hobby or common interest

that we can talk a lot about.

Yeah, for example, we have a lot of

creative bridal couples who work in the creative

field themselves or also couples who also like

to travel a lot and yeah by getting

to know each other a bit you simply

build up a trust basis very quickly.

Yeah, often the couples also ask us during

the Skype conversation what we would recommend to

them with regards to the sequence of events

and when would be the best time for

the porridge.

Yeah, that is amazing.

It always makes us happy if the couple

thinks about things like this and yeah and

that is important to them too.

Yeah, after the Skype conversation it is actually

in 98% of the cases that the

couple then also books us.

Of course, sometimes it happens that we or

the couple think that we do not really

fit.

However, we try to arrange a Skype conversation

only if we are relatively sure in advance

that the couple is a good fit for

us.

to cancel someone after having Skyped with them.

Yeah, so if the bridal couple decides to

book us then a deficit of 35%

is due.

Yeah, then the booking is fixed and we

enter it into our calendar.

Afterwards, we take care of flights, rental car

and accommodation.

Yeah, we usually do that only about four

months before the wedding.

Yeah, it always depends a bit on the

booking situation because often we do not know

that early where the next wedding will be.

Yeah, and sometimes it makes sense to book

open char flights and fly directly from one

destination to the next.

possibility open for a long time.

After the booking, we always stay in contact

with the couples.

We also always find it very exciting to

follow our couples on Instagram.

has questions we like to give tips.

Yeah, many of our couples are also very

active on Instagram and you can really follow

from their stories what they do.

It is always very exciting to see how

the wedding planning progresses.

We are always open to being involved in

the planning and yeah, if we can help

somehow, we always love to do that.

in German and English and there are lots

of tips and tricks in it and we

already send this guide to all our bridal

couples booked for the next year as a

small Christmas present.

We always recommend to our couples to schedule

some time at sunset.

the second part at sunset we plan only

about 10 minutes.

that you should have the wedding only in

the late afternoon or in the early evening.

If the wedding is in the early afternoon,

then you have to go to a place

There are also tips for group photos and

the light in the evening.

that they should prepare all the details.

man and I could directly start to take

a few detailed photos.

As a location for the getting ready we

always recommend that the two look for a

stylish Airbnb apartment that also fits to the

rest of the locations.

In this case I think it was an

Airbnb apartment of a guest.

Yeah, exactly.

And we like it very much when the

getting ready is busy and there are few

friends around.

Yeah, for example here there were some friends

and family around and it was very easy

to capture the joy and the emotions.

the wedding ceremony.

These pictures are always beautiful to tell the

story.

I also took a few landscape pictures and

pictures of the location here.

This is also very nice for the bridal

couple to immerse themselves in the story.

Also for my getting ready the deco was

already ready and we will scroll over it

a bit faster because you'll see how we

work at the live wedding.

As a wedding ceremony we always start with

a few pictures of the setting and the

arriving guests.

Yes, as you know we advised some shade

at the marriage ceremonies in warm countries and

that worked great here.

Yeah, probably because the couple had a very

professional wedding planner.

Yes, small problem was that the wall at

the front reflected extremely brightly and that's why

we actually photographed the entire wedding from the

front to the back.

Yeah, these are just the problems of summer

weddings with lots of sun.

We wanted to show you this briefly so

you then see the comparison to the wedding

in the rain.

Because depending on the weather you just have

different challenges and the sun can sometimes be

a problem.

As you can see this wedding was very

emotional and you could capture many beautiful moments

with the guests.

Afterwards there was the reception.

Of course we captured many moments and take

a lot of pictures of the guests and

in addition you can take a few group

photos during the reception.

Here we simply spent time taking some group

photos with the families.

We try to keep it as simple as

possible and do not spend too much time

with it.

That was the first part of the couple

shoot and we mentioned earlier that we often

divide that and here the light was not

so good.

So we also looked for a place in

the shade.

We always think in advance in which locations

we take pictures and plan the course of

the shoot.

As a result we do not waste much

time on the wedding day.

Here you can directly see the pictures from

the second part of the shoot.

That was then during the sunset and after

light the pictures are shot with the light

from the front.

As you already know this is one of

our favorite lights.

We only needed 10 minutes during the dinner

and you can see here that the colors

are much deeper and fuller than on the

pictures from the first part of the shoot.

In addition we took a few individual portraits.

If you have sunshine on a wedding day

then you should definitely make a short shoot

in the evening.

We also photograph all the deco pictures and

the table setting in the shade.

At that moment of course you also take

the pictures for the other service providers.

This is always very important.

Because if the other service providers and the

wedding planner are enthusiastic about your work you

have a good chance that they will recommend

you.

Otherwise of course we try to capture the

mood and emotions of the people throughout the

day.

It was especially easy at this wedding because

all the guests and everyone had their hearts

fully into it.

It was a particularly emotional celebration and we

are immensely grateful for such couples as Casey

and Luke.

During the speeches we always catch their reactions

and emotions and during the meal we took

a nice aerial view of the location.

We already told you that we always have

the DJ with us so you can see

the table setting down there.

I love it especially during the dinner when

not so much is going on it makes

sense to take such a picture.

The darker it gets the more beautiful the

lighting mood at the tables has become.

Most of the time we will be there

until the first dance and then catch some

of the party atmosphere.

At the first dance we often work without

flash or we only use the flash indirectly.

Yeah and the sparklers here make a very

nice light mood.

Yeah this can be captured very nicely without

flash.

At the party in the evening we actually

always use flash.

We'll explain later how exactly we use our

flash.
