Yeah, here we are again and since we

might not know each other in person we

like to introduce ourselves first.

Yeah, we are Chris and Ruth and we

got to know each other almost nine years

ago.

Yeah, I think it's almost exactly nine years

now.

Yeah.

And we met at the youth camp and

Ruth was 15 years old and I was

20, 21 at that time.

Yeah, back then I wanted to become a

dancer.

And I was in the Cretan middle school

at that time and had to decide what

to do after school.

And after the youth camp where we actually

haven't spoke a single word with each other,

we started to write on MySpace.

And after a few days we knew that

we have to meet again.

And yeah, and back then I was totally

into that hip-hop culture and so I

asked Ruth if she would like to spray

a graffiti with me.

So we met in a real foggy night

to get that graffiti done.

And yeah, that was actually our first date.

Yeah, and from that day on we met

each other a lot, mostly hanging out snowboarding

or skiing together.

That was definitely the winter of our lives.

Yes, I think so.

Yeah, and in summer Ruth moved to another

city to do her high school graduation.

Yes, it was a specific school for arts

and there I also bought my first DSLR

camera and since then I started with photography.

Yeah, only one year later I also moved

to the city to study dance as I

wanted to become a professional stage dancer.

And yeah, and when Ruth became 18 we

got married directly.

And I became self-employed as a photographer

directly after school at the age of 18.

And I was mainly working in the fashion

and commercial industry.

However, this was a very competitive business and

jobs came in very spontaneously.

Yeah, for me I wasn't really a successful

dancer.

I guess it's even more hard to earn

money as a dancer than as a photographer.

Yeah, so the decision to try wedding photography

was more a decision out of desperation.

Yeah, our only goal was to earn enough

money so that we both can live from

photography.

Yeah, for the first two years as wedding

photographers I spent the winter doing various jobs.

Yeah, like postman.

And we actually never thought that we would

have the chance to travel all around the

world with photography.

Yeah, the only journey that we've made together

till then was a road trip to Paris.

Yeah, and yeah, we're still totally flashed and

infinitely grateful for all the experiences that we

have made during the last two years.

Yes, we know that it is a huge

gift that we have the chance to travel

all these amazing places in the world and

meet such lovely people and hear about their

love story.

For us this is more than just a

job but a mission.

Yeah, our photography style is very influenced by

real moments and movements.

Nothing feels more strange than staying in one

pose for minutes.

Yeah, we want our couples to feel comfortable

during the shoot.

are on the same wavelength with the couple

so we can have lots of fun together.
