[Amy] About a year ago,

not long after we broke up...

I remember New York suffered a massive snowstorm.

All the grocery stores had run out of supplies.

And every channel on TV was reporting the same news,

about the weather.

I was lying in bed that morning...

when all of a sudden I thought about the plants

being kept by the window.

When I went to check on them,

I saw that they had all withered away.

I touched one of the leaves and watched as it

cracked into pieces and fell...

just like the snow outside.

It was ugly-beautiful.

Then I noticed right by the stem,

there was a...

dead worm.

It was half curled up.

Frozen to death.

I imagined the worm cracking in two,

just like the leaf.

The longer I looked at it...

the worse I felt.

Since then, I've lost the urge

to eat anything.

[Dr. Pavel] It seems that your illness may stem

from the past trauma of your breakup.

With the proper treatment, I believe we will be

as long as you follow procedure.

Also, having a strong support system will help.

But I'm a food editor.
